All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.
- Vous observerez et vous mettrez en pratique tous les commandements que je vous prescris aujourd'hui, afin que vous viviez, que vous multipliiez, et que vous entriez en possession du pays que l'Éternel a juré de donner à vos pères. (Ⅱ) - πάσας τὰς ἐντολάς ἃς ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι ὑμι̃ν σήμερον φυλάξεσθε ποιει̃ν ἵνα ζη̃τε καὶ πολυπλασιασθη̃τε καὶ εἰσέλθητε καὶ κληρονομήσητε τὴν γη̃ν ἣν κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμω̃ν ὤμοσεν τοι̃ς πατράσιν ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Omne mandatum, quod ego præcipio tibi hodie, cave diligenter ut facias, ut possitis vivere, et multiplicemini, ingressique possideatis terram, pro qua juravit Dominus patribus vestris. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃8 כל המצוה אשר אנכי מצוך היום תשמרון לעשות למען תחיון ורביתם ובאתם וירשתם את הארץ אשר נשבע יהוה לאבתיכם (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
- Souviens-toi de tout le chemin que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a fait faire pendant ces quarante années dans le désert, afin de l'humilier et de t'éprouver, pour savoir quelles étaient les dispositions de ton coeur et si tu garderais ou non ses commandements. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μνησθήση̨ πα̃σαν τὴν ὁδόν ἣν ἤγαγέν σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ ὅπως ἂν κακώση̨ σε καὶ ἐκπειράση̨ σε καὶ διαγνωσθη̨̃ τὰ ἐν τη̨̃ καρδία̨ σου εἰ φυλάξη̨ τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτου̃ ἢ οὔ (Ⅲ) - Et recordaberis cuncti itineris, per quod adduxit te Dominus Deus tuus quadraginta annis per desertum, ut affligeret te, atque tentaret, et nota fierent quæ in tuo animo versabantur, utrum custodires mandata illius, an non. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃8 וזכרת את כל הדרך אשר הליכך יהוה אלהיך זה ארבעים שנה במדבר למען ענתך לנסתך לדעת את אשר בלבבך התשמר *מצותו **מצותיו אם לא (Ⅴ)

And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
- Il t'a humilié, il t'a fait souffrir de la faim, et il t'a nourri de la manne, que tu ne connaissais pas et que n'avaient pas connue tes pères, afin de t'apprendre que l'homme ne vit pas de pain seulement, mais que l'homme vit de tout ce qui sort de la bouche de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκάκωσέν σε καὶ ἐλιμαγχόνησέν σε καὶ ἐψώμισέν σε τὸ μαννα ὃ οὐκ εἴδησαν οἱ πατέρες σου ἵνα ἀναγγείλη̨ σοι ὅτι οὐκ ἐπ' ἄρτω̨ μόνω̨ ζήσεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἀλλ' ἐπὶ παντὶ ῥήματι τω̨̃ ἐκπορευομένω̨ διὰ στόματος θεου̃ ζήσεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος (Ⅲ) - Afflixit te penuria, et dedit tibi cibum manna, quod ignorabas tu et patres tui : ut ostenderet tibi quod non in solo pane vivat homo, sed in omni verbo quod egreditur de ore Dei. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃8 ויענך וירעבך ויאכלך את[Q][n][p] המן אשר לא ידעת ולא ידעון אבתיך למען הודעך כי לא על הלחם לבדו יחיה האדם כי על כל מוצא פי יהוה יחיה האדם (Ⅴ)

Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
- Ton vêtement ne s'est point usé sur toi, et ton pied ne s'est point enflé, pendant ces quarante années. (Ⅱ) - τὰ ἱμάτιά σου οὐ κατετρίβη ἀπὸ σου̃ οἱ πόδες σου οὐκ ἐτυλώθησαν ἰδοὺ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη (Ⅲ) - Vestimentum tuum, quo operiebaris, nequaquam vetustate defecit, et pes tuus non est subtritus, en quadragesimus annus est : (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃8 שמלתך לא בלתה מעליך ורגלך לא בצקה זה ארבעים שנה (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
- Reconnais en ton coeur que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te châtie comme un homme châtie son enfant. (Ⅱ) - καὶ γνώση̨ τη̨̃ καρδία̨ σου ὅτι ὡς εἴ τις παιδεύσαι ἄνθρωπος τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ οὕτως κύριος ὁ θεός σου παιδεύσει σε (Ⅲ) - ut recogites in corde tuo, quia sicut erudit filium suum homo, sic Dominus Deus tuus erudivit te, (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃8 וידעת עם לבבך כי כאשר ייסר איש את בנו יהוה אלהיך מיסרך (Ⅴ)

Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- Tu observeras les commandements de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour marcher dans ses voies et pour le craindre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φυλάξη̨ τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου πορεύεσθαι ἐν ται̃ς ὁδοι̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ φοβει̃σθαι αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - ut custodias mandata Domini Dei tui, et ambules in viis ejus, et timeas eum. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃8 ושמרת את מצות יהוה אלהיך ללכת בדרכיו וליראה אתו (Ⅴ)

For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
- Car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, va te faire entrer dans un bon pays, pays de cours d'eau, de sources et de lacs, qui jaillissent dans les vallées et dans les montagnes; (Ⅱ) - ὁ γὰρ κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰσάγει σε εἰς γη̃ν ἀγαθὴν καὶ πολλήν οὑ̃ χείμαρροι ὑδάτων καὶ πηγαὶ ἀβύσσων ἐκπορευόμεναι διὰ τω̃ν πεδίων καὶ διὰ τω̃ν ὀρέων (Ⅲ) - Dominus enim Deus tuus introducet te in terram bonam, terram rivorum, aquarumque et fontium, in cujus campis et montibus erumpunt fluviorum abyssi : (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃8 כי יהוה אלהיך מביאך אל ארץ טובה ארץ נחלי מים עינת ותהמת יצאים בבקעה ובהר (Ⅴ)

A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;
- pays de froment, d'orge, de vignes, de figuiers et de grenadiers; pays d'oliviers et de miel; (Ⅱ) - γη̃ πυρου̃ καὶ κριθη̃ς ἄμπελοι συκαι̃ ῥόαι γη̃ ἐλαίας ἐλαίου καὶ μέλιτος (Ⅲ) - terram frumenti, hordei ac vinearum, in qua ficus, et malogranata, et oliveta nascuntur : terram olei ac mellis, (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃8 ארץ חטה ושערה וגפן ותאנה ורמון ארץ זית שמן ודבש (Ⅴ)

A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
- pays où tu mangeras du pain avec abondance, où tu ne manqueras de rien; pays dont les pierres sont du fer, et des montagnes duquel tu tailleras l'airain. (Ⅱ) - γη̃ ἐφ' ἡ̃ς οὐ μετὰ πτωχείας φάγη̨ τὸν ἄρτον σου καὶ οὐκ ἐνδεηθήση̨ οὐδὲν ἐπ' αὐτη̃ς γη̃ ἡ̃ς οἱ λίθοι σίδηρος καὶ ἐκ τω̃ν ὀρέων αὐτη̃ς μεταλλεύσεις χαλκόν (Ⅲ) - ubi absque ulla penuria comedes panem tuum, et rerum omnium abundantia perfrueris : cujus lapides ferrum sunt, et de montibus ejus æris metalla fodiuntur : (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃8 ארץ אשר לא במסכנת תאכל בה לחם לא תחסר כל בה ארץ אשר אבניה ברזל ומהרריה תחצב נחשת (Ⅴ)

When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
- Lorsque tu mangeras et te rassasieras, tu béniras l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour le bon pays qu'il t'a donné. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φάγη̨ καὶ ἐμπλησθήση̨ καὶ εὐλογήσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς τη̃ς ἀγαθη̃ς ἡ̃ς ἔδωκέν σοι (Ⅲ) - ut cum comederis, et satiatus fueris, benedicas Domino Deo tuo pro terra optima, quam dedit tibi.\ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃8 ואכלת ושבעת וברכת את יהוה אלהיך על הארץ הטבה אשר נתן לך (Ⅴ)

Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
- Garde-toi d'oublier l'Éternel, ton Dieu, au point de ne pas observer ses commandements, ses ordonnances et ses lois, que je te prescris aujourd'hui. (Ⅱ) - πρόσεχε σεαυτω̨̃ μὴ ἐπιλάθη̨ κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου του̃ μὴ φυλάξαι τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰ κρίματα καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτου̃ ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον (Ⅲ) - Observa, et cave nequando obliviscaris Domini Dei tui, et negligas mandata ejus atque judicia et cæremonias, quas ego præcipio tibi hodie : (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃8 השמר לך פן תשכח את יהוה אלהיך לבלתי שמר מצותיו ומשפטיו וחקתיו אשר אנכי מצוך היום (Ⅴ)

Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
- Lorsque tu mangeras et te rassasieras, lorsque tu bâtiras et habiteras de belles maisons, (Ⅱ) - μὴ φαγὼν καὶ ἐμπλησθεὶς καὶ οἰκίας καλὰς οἰκοδομήσας καὶ κατοικήσας ἐν αὐται̃ς (Ⅲ) - ne postquam comederis et satiatus fueris, domos pulchras ædificaveris, et habitaveris in eis, (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃8 פן תאכל ושבעת ובתים טובים תבנה וישבת (Ⅴ)

And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;
- lorsque tu verras multiplier ton gros et ton menu bétail, s'augmenter ton argent et ton or, et s'accroître tout ce qui est à toi, (Ⅱ) - καὶ τω̃ν βοω̃ν σου καὶ τω̃ν προβάτων σου πληθυνθέντων σοι ἀργυρίου καὶ χρυσίου πληθυνθέντος σοι καὶ πάντων ὅσων σοι ἔσται πληθυνθέντων σοι (Ⅲ) - habuerisque armenta boum, et ovium greges, argenti et auri, cunctarumque rerum copiam, (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃8 ובקרך וצאנך ירבין וכסף וזהב ירבה לך וכל אשר לך ירבה (Ⅴ)

Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
- prends garde que ton coeur ne s'enfle, et que tu n'oublies l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui t'a fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, de la maison de servitude, (Ⅱ) - ὑψωθη̨̃ς τη̨̃ καρδία̨ καὶ ἐπιλάθη̨ κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου του̃ ἐξαγαγόντος σε ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας (Ⅲ) - elevetur cor tuum, et non reminiscaris Domini Dei tui, qui eduxit te de terra Ægypti, de domo servitutis, (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃8 ורם לבבך ושכחת את יהוה אלהיך המוציאך מארץ מצרים מבית עבדים (Ⅴ)

Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
- qui t'a fait marcher dans ce grand et affreux désert, où il y a des serpents brûlants et des scorpions, dans des lieux arides et sans eau, et qui a fait jaillir pour toi de l'eau du rocher le plus dur, (Ⅱ) - του̃ ἀγαγόντος σε διὰ τη̃ς ἐρήμου τη̃ς μεγάλης καὶ τη̃ς φοβερα̃ς ἐκείνης οὑ̃ ὄφις δάκνων καὶ σκορπίος καὶ δίψα οὑ̃ οὐκ ἠ̃ν ὕδωρ του̃ ἐξαγαγόντος σοι ἐκ πέτρας ἀκροτόμου πηγὴν ὕδατος (Ⅲ) - et ductor tuus fuit in solitudine magna atque terribili, in qua erat serpens flatu adurens, et scorpio, ac dipsas, et nullæ omnino aquæ : qui eduxit rivos de petra durissima, (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃8 המוליכך במדבר הגדל והנורא נחש שרף ועקרב וצמאון אשר אין מים המוציא לך מים מצור החלמיש (Ⅴ)

Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
- qui t'a fait manger dans le désert la manne inconnue à tes pères, afin de t'humilier et de t'éprouver, pour te faire ensuite du bien. (Ⅱ) - του̃ ψωμίσαντός σε τὸ μαννα ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ ὃ οὐκ εἴδησαν οἱ πατέρες σου ἵνα κακώση̨ σε καὶ ἐκπειράση̨ σε καὶ εὐ̃ σε ποιήση̨ ἐπ' ἐσχάτων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν σου (Ⅲ) - et cibavit te manna in solitudine, quod nescierunt patres tui. Et postquam afflixit ac probavit, ad extremum misertus est tui, (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃8 המאכלך מן במדבר אשר לא ידעון אבתיך למען ענתך ולמען נסתך להיטבך באחריתך (Ⅴ)

And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
- Garde-toi de dire en ton coeur: Ma force et la puissance de ma main m'ont acquis ces richesses. (Ⅱ) - μὴ εἴπη̨ς ἐν τη̨̃ καρδία̨ σου ἡ ἰσχύς μου καὶ τὸ κράτος τη̃ς χειρός μου ἐποίησέν μοι τὴν δύναμιν τὴν μεγάλην ταύτην (Ⅲ) - ne diceres in corde tuo : Fortitudo mea, et robur manus meæ, hæc mihi omnia præstiterunt : (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃8 ואמרת בלבבך כחי ועצם ידי עשה לי את החיל הזה (Ⅴ)

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
- Souviens-toi de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, car c'est lui qui te donnera de la force pour les acquérir, afin de confirmer, comme il le fait aujourd'hui, son alliance qu'il a jurée à tes pères. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μνησθήση̨ κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου ὅτι αὐτός σοι δίδωσιν ἰσχὺν του̃ ποιη̃σαι δύναμιν καὶ ἵνα στήση̨ τὴν διαθήκην αὐτου̃ ἣν ὤμοσεν κύριος τοι̃ς πατράσιν σου ὡς σήμερον (Ⅲ) - sed recorderis Domini Dei tui, quod ipse vires tibi præbuerit, ut impleret pactum suum, super quo juravit patribus tuis, sicut præsens indicat dies. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃8 וזכרת את יהוה אלהיך כי הוא הנתן לך כח לעשות חיל למען הקים את בריתו אשר נשבע לאבתיך כיום הזה פ (Ⅴ)

And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
- Si tu oublies l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et que tu ailles après d'autres dieux, si tu les sers et te prosternes devant eux, je vous déclare formellement aujourd'hui que vous périrez. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν λήθη̨ ἐπιλάθη̨ κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου καὶ πορευθη̨̃ς ὀπίσω θεω̃ν ἑτέρων καὶ λατρεύση̨ς αὐτοι̃ς καὶ προσκυνήση̨ς αὐτοι̃ς διαμαρτύρομαι ὑμι̃ν σήμερον τόν τε οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γη̃ν ὅτι ἀπωλεία̨ ἀπολει̃σθε (Ⅲ) - Sin autem oblitus Domini Dei tui, secutus fueris deos alienos, coluerisque illos et adoraveris : ecce nunc prædico tibi quod omnino dispereas. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃8 והיה אם שכח תשכח את יהוה אלהיך והלכת אחרי אלהים אחרים ועבדתם והשתחוית להם העדתי בכם היום כי אבד תאבדון (Ⅴ)

As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.
- Vous périrez comme les nations que l'Éternel fait périr devant vous, parce que vous n'aurez point écouté la voix de l'Éternel, votre Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καθὰ καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ ἔθνη ὅσα κύριος ἀπολλύει πρὸ προσώπου ὑμω̃ν οὕτως ἀπολει̃σθε ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν οὐκ ἠκούσατε τη̃ς φωνη̃ς κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Sicut gentes, quas delevit Dominus in introitu tuo, ita et vos peribitis, si inobedientes fueritis voci Domini Dei vestri. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃8 כגוים אשר יהוה מאביד מפניכם כן תאבדון עקב לא תשמעון בקול יהוה אלהיכם פ (Ⅴ)
