11. 1

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

- Jabin, roi de Hatsor, ayant appris ces choses, envoya des messagers à Jobab, roi de Madon, au roi de Schimron, au roi d'Acschaph, (Ⅱ)

- ὡς δὲ ἤκουσεν Ιαβιν βασιλεὺς Ασωρ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς Ιωβαβ βασιλέα Μαρρων καὶ πρὸς βασιλέα Συμοων καὶ πρὸς βασιλέα Αζιφ (Ⅲ)

- Quæ cum audisset Jabin rex Asor, misit ad Jobab regem Madon, et ad regem Semeron, atque ad regem Achsaph : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃11 ויהי כשמע יבין מלך חצור וישלח אל יובב מלך מדון ואל מלך שמרון ואל מלך אכשף ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 2

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

- aux rois qui étaient au nord dans la montagne, dans la plaine au midi de Kinnéreth, dans la vallée, et sur les hauteurs de Dor à l'occident, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πρὸς τοὺς βασιλει̃ς τοὺς κατὰ Σιδω̃να τὴν μεγάλην εἰς τὴν ὀρεινὴν καὶ εἰς τὴν Ραβα ἀπέναντι Κενερωθ καὶ εἰς τὸ πεδίον καὶ εἰς Ναφεδδωρ (Ⅲ)

- ad reges quoque aquilonis, qui habitabant in montanis et in planitie contra meridiem Ceneroth, in campestribus quoque et in regionibus Dor juxta mare : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃11 ואל המלכים אשר מצפון בהר ובערבה נגב כנרות ובשפלה ובנפות דור מים ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 3

And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

- aux Cananéens de l'orient et de l'occident, aux Amoréens, aux Héthiens, aux Phéréziens, aux Jébusiens dans la montagne, et aux Héviens au pied de l'Hermon dans le pays de Mitspa. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰς τοὺς παραλίους Χαναναίους ἀπὸ ἀνατολω̃ν καὶ εἰς τοὺς παραλίους Αμορραίους καὶ Ευαίους καὶ Ιεβουσαίους καὶ Φερεζαίους τοὺς ἐν τω̨̃ ὄρει καὶ τοὺς Χετταίους τοὺς ὑπὸ τὴν Αερμων εἰς γη̃ν Μασσηφα (Ⅲ)

- Chananæum quoque ab oriente et occidente, et Amorrhæum atque Hethæum ac Pherezæum et Jebusæum in montanis : Hevæum quoque qui habitabat ad radices Hermon in terra Maspha. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃11 הכנעני ממזרח ומים והאמרי והחתי והפרזי והיבוסי בהר והחוי תחת חרמון בארץ המצפה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 4

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

- Ils sortirent, eux et toutes leurs armées avec eux, formant un peuple innombrable comme le sable qui est sur le bord de la mer, et ayant des chevaux et des chars en très grande quantité. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐξη̃λθον αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ βασιλει̃ς αὐτω̃ν μετ' αὐτω̃ν ὥσπερ ἡ ἄμμος τη̃ς θαλάσσης τω̨̃ πλήθει καὶ ἵπποι καὶ ἅρματα πολλὰ σφόδρα (Ⅲ)

- Egressique sunt omnes cum turmis suis, populus multus nimis sicut arena quæ est in littore maris, equi quoque et currus immensæ multitudinis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃11 ויצאו הם וכל מחניהם עמם עם רב כחול אשר על שפת הים לרב וסוס ורכב רב מאד ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 5

And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.

- Tous ces rois fixèrent un lieu de réunion, et vinrent camper ensemble près des eaux de Mérom, pour combattre contre Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ συνη̃λθον πάντες οἱ βασιλει̃ς οὑ̃τοι καὶ παρεγένοντο ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐπὶ του̃ ὕδατος Μαρρων πολεμη̃σαι τὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Conveneruntque omnes reges isti in unum ad aquas Merom, ut pugnarent contra Israël.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃11 ויועדו כל המלכים האלה ויבאו ויחנו יחדו אל מי מרום להלחם עם ישראל פ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 6

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

- L'Éternel dit à Josué: Ne les crains point, car demain, à ce moment-ci, je les livrerai tous frappés devant Israël. Tu couperas les jarrets à leurs chevaux, et tu brûleras au feu leurs chars. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς 'Ιησου̃ν μὴ φοβηθη̨̃ς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν ὅτι αὔριον ταύτην τὴν ὥραν ἐγὼ παραδίδωμι τετροπωμένους αὐτοὺς ἐναντίον του̃ Ισραηλ τοὺς ἵππους αὐτω̃ν νευροκοπήσεις καὶ τὰ ἅρματα αὐτω̃ν κατακαύσεις ἐν πυρί (Ⅲ)

- Dixitque Dominus ad Josue : Ne timeas eos : cras enim hac eadem hora ego tradam omnes istos vulnerandos in conspectu Israël : equos eorum subnervabis, et currus igne combures. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃11 ויאמר יהוה אל יהושע אל תירא מפניהם כי מחר כעת הזאת אנכי נתן את כלם חללים לפני ישראל את סוסיהם תעקר ואת מרכבתיהם תשרף באש ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 7

So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

- Josué, avec tous ses gens de guerre, arriva subitement sur eux près des eaux de Mérom, et ils se précipitèrent au milieu d'eux. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν 'Ιησου̃ς καὶ πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ὁ πολεμιστὴς ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ Μαρρων ἐξάπινα καὶ ἐπέπεσαν ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ ὀρεινη̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Venitque Josue, et omnis exercitus cum eo, adversus illos ad aquas Merom subito, et irruerunt super eos, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃11 ויבא יהושע וכל עם המלחמה עמו עליהם על מי מרום פתאם ויפלו בהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 8

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

- L'Éternel les livra entre les mains d'Israël; ils les battirent et les poursuivirent jusqu'à Sidon la grande, jusqu'à Misrephoth Maïm, et jusqu'à la vallée de Mitspa vers l'orient; ils les battirent, sans en laisser échapper aucun. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ὑποχειρίους Ισραηλ καὶ κόπτοντες αὐτοὺς κατεδίωκον ἕως Σιδω̃νος τη̃ς μεγάλης καὶ ἕως Μασερων καὶ ἕως τω̃ν πεδίων Μασσωχ κατ' ἀνατολὰς καὶ κατέκοψαν αὐτοὺς ἕως του̃ μὴ καταλειφθη̃ναι αὐτω̃ν διασεσω̨σμένον (Ⅲ)

- tradiditque illos Dominus in manus Israël. Qui percusserunt eos, et persecuti sunt usque ad Sidonem magnam, et aquas Maserephoth, campumque Masphe, qui est ad orientalem illius partem. Ita percussit omnes, ut nullas dimitteret ex eis reliquias : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃11 ויתנם יהוה ביד ישראל ויכום וירדפום עד צידון רבה ועד משרפות מים ועד בקעת מצפה מזרחה ויכם עד בלתי השאיר להם שריד ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 9

And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

- Josué les traita comme l'Éternel lui avait dit; il coupa les jarrets à leurs chevaux, et il brûla leurs chars au feu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτοι̃ς 'Ιησου̃ς ὃν τρόπον ἐνετείλατο αὐτω̨̃ κύριος τοὺς ἵππους αὐτω̃ν ἐνευροκόπησεν καὶ τὰ ἅρματα αὐτω̃ν ἐνέπρησεν ἐν πυρί (Ⅲ)

- fecitque sicut præceperat ei Dominus : equos eorum subnervavit, currusque combussit igni. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃11 ויעש להם יהושע כאשר אמר לו יהוה את סוסיהם עקר ואת מרכבתיהם שרף באש ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 10

And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

- A son retour, et dans le même temps, Josué prit Hatsor, et frappa son roi avec l'épée: Hatsor était autrefois la principale ville de tous ces royaumes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπεστράφη 'Ιησου̃ς ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ καὶ κατελάβετο Ασωρ καὶ τὸν βασιλέα αὐτη̃ς ἠ̃ν δὲ Ασωρ τὸ πρότερον ἄρχουσα πασω̃ν τω̃ν βασιλειω̃ν τούτων (Ⅲ)

- Reversusque statim cepit Asor, et regem ejus percussit gladio. Asor enim antiquitus inter omnia regna hæc principatum tenebat. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃11 וישב יהושע בעת ההיא וילכד את חצור ואת מלכה הכה בחרב כי חצור לפנים היא ראש כל הממלכות האלה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 11

And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.

- On frappa du tranchant de l'épée et l'on dévoua par interdit tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient, il ne resta rien de ce qui respirait, et l'on mit le feu à Hatsor. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπέκτειναν πα̃ν ἐμπνέον ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ἐν ξίφει καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσαν πάντας καὶ οὐ κατελείφθη ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ἐμπνέον καὶ τὴν Ασωρ ἐνέπρησαν ἐν πυρί (Ⅲ)

- Percussitque omnes animas quæ ibidem morabantur : non dimisit in ea ullas reliquias, sed usque ad internecionem universa vastavit, ipsamque urbem peremit incendio. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃11 ויכו את כל הנפש אשר בה לפי חרב החרם לא נותר כל נשמה ואת חצור שרף באש ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 12

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.

- Josué prit aussi toutes les villes de ces rois et tous leurs rois, et il les frappa du tranchant de l'épée, et il les dévoua par interdit, comme l'avait ordonné Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πάσας τὰς πόλεις τω̃ν βασιλέων καὶ τοὺς βασιλει̃ς αὐτω̃ν ἔλαβεν 'Ιησου̃ς καὶ ἀνει̃λεν αὐτοὺς ἐν στόματι ξίφους καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσαν αὐτούς ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν Μωυση̃ς ὁ παι̃ς κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- Et omnes per circuitum civitates, regesque earum, cepit, percussit atque delevit, sicut præceperat ei Moyses famulus Domini. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃11 ואת כל ערי המלכים האלה ואת כל מלכיהם לכד יהושע ויכם לפי חרב החרים אותם כאשר צוה משה עבד יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 13

But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

- Mais Israël ne brûla aucune des villes situées sur des collines, à l'exception seulement de Hatsor, qui fut brûlée par Josué. (Ⅱ)

- ἀλλὰ πάσας τὰς πόλεις τὰς κεχωματισμένας οὐκ ἐνέπρησεν Ισραηλ πλὴν Ασωρ μόνην ἐνέπρησεν 'Ιησου̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Absque urbibus, quæ erant in collibus et in tumulis sitæ, ceteras succendit Israël : unam tantum Asor munitissimam flamma consumpsit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃11 רק כל הערים העמדות על תלם לא שרפם ישראל זולתי את חצור לבדה שרף יהושע ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 14

And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.

- Les enfants d'Israël gardèrent pour eux tout le butin de ces villes et le bétail; mais ils frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée tous les hommes, jusqu'à ce qu'ils les eussent détruits, sans rien laisser de ce qui respirait. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πάντα τὰ σκυ̃λα αὐτη̃ς ἐπρονόμευσαν ἑαυτοι̃ς οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ αὐτοὺς δὲ πάντας ἐξωλέθρευσαν ἐν στόματι ξίφους ἕως ἀπώλεσεν αὐτούς οὐ κατέλιπον ἐξ αὐτω̃ν οὐδὲ ἓν ἐμπνέον (Ⅲ)

- Omnemque prædam istarum urbium ac jumenta diviserunt sibi filii Israël, cunctis hominibus interfectis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃11 וכל שלל הערים האלה והבהמה בזזו להם בני ישראל רק את כל האדם הכו לפי חרב עד השמדם אותם לא השאירו כל נשמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 15

As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.

- Josué exécuta les ordres de l'Éternel à Moïse, son serviteur, et de Moïse à Josué; il ne négligea rien de tout ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse. (Ⅱ)

- ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ τω̨̃ παιδὶ αὐτου̃ καὶ Μωυση̃ς ὡσαύτως ἐνετείλατο τω̨̃ 'Ιησοι̃ καὶ οὕτως ἐποίησεν 'Ιησου̃ς οὐ παρέβη οὐδὲν ἀπὸ πάντων ὡ̃ν συνέταξεν αὐτω̨̃ Μωυση̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi servo suo, ita præcepit Moyses Josue, et ille universa complevit : non præteriit de universis mandatis, nec unum quidem verbum quod jusserat Dominus Moysi. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃11 כאשר צוה יהוה את משה עבדו כן צוה משה את יהושע וכן עשה יהושע לא הסיר דבר מכל אשר צוה יהוה את משה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 16

So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;

- C'est ainsi que Josué s'empara de tout ce pays, de la montagne, de tout le midi, de tout le pays de Gosen, de la vallée, de la plaine, de la montagne d'Israël et de ses vallées, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν 'Ιησου̃ς πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν τὴν ὀρεινὴν καὶ πα̃σαν τὴν Ναγεβ καὶ πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν Γοσομ καὶ τὴν πεδινὴν καὶ τὴν πρὸς δυσμαι̃ς καὶ τὸ ὄρος Ισραηλ καὶ τὰ ταπεινά (Ⅲ)

- Cepit itaque Josue omnem terram montanam et meridianam, terramque Gosen, et planitiem, et occidentalem plagam, montemque Israël, et campestria ejus, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃11 ויקח יהושע את כל הארץ הזאת ההר ואת כל הנגב ואת כל ארץ הגשן ואת השפלה ואת הערבה ואת הר ישראל ושפלתה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 17

Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.

- depuis la montagne nue qui s'élève vers Séir jusqu'à Baal Gad, dans la vallée du Liban, au pied de la montagne d'Hermon. Il prit tous leurs rois, les frappa et les fit mourir. (Ⅱ)

- τὰ πρὸς τω̨̃ ὄρει ἀπὸ ὄρους Αχελ καὶ ὃ προσαναβαίνει εἰς Σηιρ καὶ ἕως Βααλγαδ καὶ τὰ πεδία του̃ Λιβάνου ὑπὸ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Αερμων καὶ πάντας τοὺς βασιλει̃ς αὐτω̃ν ἔλαβεν καὶ ἀνει̃λεν αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν (Ⅲ)

- et partem montis, quæ ascendit Seir usque Baalgad, per planitiem Libani subter montem Hermon : omnes reges eorum cepit, percussit, et occidit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃11 מן ההר החלק העולה שעיר ועד בעל גד בבקעת הלבנון תחת הר חרמון ואת כל מלכיהם לכד ויכם וימיתם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 18

Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.

- La guerre que soutint Josué contre tous ces rois fut de longue durée. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πλείους ἡμέρας ἐποίησεν 'Ιησου̃ς πρὸς τοὺς βασιλει̃ς τούτους τὸν πόλεμον (Ⅲ)

- Multo tempore pugnavit Josue contra reges istos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃11 ימים רבים עשה יהושע את כל המלכים האלה מלחמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 19

There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle.

- Il n'y eut aucune ville qui fit la paix avec les enfants d'Israël, excepté Gabaon, habitée par les Héviens; ils les prirent toutes en combattant. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐκ ἠ̃ν πόλις ἣν οὐκ ἔλαβεν Ισραηλ πάντα ἐλάβοσαν ἐν πολέμω̨ (Ⅲ)

- Non fuit civitas quæ se traderet filiis Israël, præter Hevæum, qui habitabat in Gabaon : omnes enim bellando cepit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃11 לא היתה עיר אשר השלימה אל בני ישראל בלתי החוי ישבי גבעון את הכל לקחו במלחמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 20

For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.

- Car l'Éternel permit que ces peuples s'obstinassent à faire la guerre contre Israël, afin qu'Israël les dévouât par interdit, sans qu'il y eût pour eux de miséricorde, et qu'il les détruisît, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse. (Ⅱ)

- ὅτι διὰ κυρίου ἐγένετο κατισχυ̃σαι αὐτω̃ν τὴν καρδίαν συναντα̃ν εἰς πόλεμον πρὸς Ισραηλ ἵνα ἐξολεθρευθω̃σιν ὅπως μὴ δοθη̨̃ αὐτοι̃ς ἔλεος ἀλλ' ἵνα ἐξολεθρευθω̃σιν ὃν τρόπον εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Domini enim sententia fuerat, ut indurarentur corda eorum, et pugnarent contra Israël, et caderent, et non mererentur ullam clementiam, ac perirent, sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃11 כי מאת יהוה היתה לחזק את לבם לקראת המלחמה את ישראל למען החרימם לבלתי היות להם תחנה כי למען השמידם כאשר צוה יהוה את משה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 21

And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.

- Dans le même temps, Josué se mit en marche, et il extermina les Anakim de la montagne d'Hébron, de Debir, d'Anab, de toute la montagne de Juda et de toute la montagne d'Israël; Josué les dévoua par interdit, avec leurs villes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν 'Ιησου̃ς ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσεν τοὺς Ενακιμ ἐκ τη̃ς ὀρεινη̃ς ἐκ Χεβρων καὶ ἐκ Δαβιρ καὶ ἐξ Αναβωθ καὶ ἐκ παντὸς γένους Ισραηλ καὶ ἐκ παντὸς ὄρους Ιουδα σὺν ται̃ς πόλεσιν αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσεν αὐτοὺς 'Ιησου̃ς (Ⅲ)

- In illo tempore venit Josue, et interfecit Enacim de montanis, Hebron, et Dabir, et Anab, et de omni monte Juda et Israël, urbesque eorum delevit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃11 ויבא יהושע בעת ההיא ויכרת את הענקים מן ההר מן חברון מן דבר מן ענב ומכל הר יהודה ומכל הר ישראל עם עריהם החרימם יהושע ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 22

There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained.

- Il ne resta point d'Anakim dans le pays des enfants d'Israël; il n'en resta qu'à Gaza, à Gath et à Asdod. (Ⅱ)

- οὐ κατελείφθη τω̃ν Ενακιμ ἀπὸ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἀλλὰ πλὴν ἐν Γάζη̨ καὶ ἐν Γεθ καὶ ἐν Ασεδωθ κατελείφθη (Ⅲ)

- Non reliquit ullum de stirpe Enacim, in terra filiorum Israël : absque civitatibus Gaza, et Geth, et Azoto, in quibus solis relicti sunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃11 לא נותר ענקים בארץ בני ישראל רק בעזה בגת ובאשדוד נשארו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 23

So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.

- Josué s'empara donc de tout le pays, selon tout ce que l'Éternel avait dit à Moïse. Et Josué le donna en héritage à Israël, à chacun sa portion, d'après leurs tribus. Puis, le pays fut en repos et sans guerre. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν 'Ιησου̃ς πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν καθότι ἐνετείλατο κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοὺς 'Ιησου̃ς ἐν κληρονομία̨ Ισραηλ ἐν μερισμω̨̃ κατὰ φυλὰς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἡ γη̃ κατέπαυσεν πολεμουμένη (Ⅲ)

- Cepit ergo Josue omnem terram, sicut locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, et tradidit eam in possessionem filiis Israël secundum partes et tribus suas : quievitque terra a præliis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃11 ויקח יהושע את כל הארץ ככל אשר דבר יהוה אל משה ויתנה יהושע לנחלה לישראל כמחלקתם לשבטיהם והארץ שקטה ממלחמה פ‬ (Ⅴ)
