7. 1  
But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel.
- Les enfants d'Israël commirent une infidélité au sujet des choses dévouées par interdit. Acan, fils de Carmi, fils de Zabdi, fils de Zérach, de la tribu de Juda, prit des choses dévouées. Et la colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐπλημμέλησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πλημμέλειαν μεγάλην καὶ ἐνοσφίσαντο ἀπὸ του̃ ἀναθέματος καὶ ἔλαβεν Αχαρ υἱὸς Χαρμι υἱου̃ Ζαμβρι υἱου̃ Ζαρα ἐκ τη̃ς φυλη̃ς Ιουδα ἀπὸ του̃ ἀναθέματος καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργη̨̃ κύριος τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- Filii autem Israël prævaricati sunt mandatum, et usurpaverunt de anathemate. Nam Achan filius Charmi filii Zabdi filii Zare de tribu Juda tulit aliquid de anathemate : iratusque est Dominus contra filios Israël. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃7   וימעלו בני ישראל מעל בחרם ויקח עכן בן כרמי בן זבדי בן זרח למטה יהודה מן החרם ויחר אף יהוה בבני ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 2  
And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.
- Josué envoya de Jéricho des hommes vers Aï, qui est près de Beth Aven, à l'orient de Béthel. Il leur dit: Montez, et explorez le pays. Et ces hommes montèrent, et explorèrent Aï. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπέστειλεν 'Ιησου̃ς ἄνδρας εἰς Γαι ἥ ἐστιν κατὰ Βαιθηλ λέγων κατασκέψασθε τὴν Γαι καὶ ἀνέβησαν οἱ ἄνδρες καὶ κατεσκέψαντο τὴν Γαι (Ⅲ)
- Cumque mitteret Josue de Jericho viros contra Hai, quæ est juxta Bethaven, ad orientalem plagam oppidi Bethel, dixit eis : Ascendite, et explorate terram. Qui præcepta complentes exploraverunt Hai. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃7   וישלח יהושע אנשים מיריחו העי אשר עם בית און מקדם לבית אל ויאמר אליהם לאמר עלו ורגלו את הארץ ויעלו האנשים וירגלו את העי ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 3  
And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labor thither; for they are but few.
- Ils revinrent auprès de Josué, et lui dirent: Il est inutile de faire marcher tout le peuple; deux ou trois mille hommes suffiront pour battre Aï; ne donne pas cette fatigue à tout le peuple, car ils sont en petit nombre. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀνέστρεψαν πρὸς 'Ιησου̃ν καὶ εἰ̃παν πρὸς αὐτόν μὴ ἀναβήτω πα̃ς ὁ λαός ἀλλ' ὡς δισχίλιοι ἢ τρισχίλιοι ἄνδρες ἀναβήτωσαν καὶ ἐκπολιορκησάτωσαν τὴν πόλιν μὴ ἀναγάγη̨ς ἐκει̃ τὸν λαὸν πάντα ὀλίγοι γάρ εἰσιν (Ⅲ)
- Et reversi dixerunt ei : Non ascendat omnis populus, sed duo vel tria millia virorum pergant, et deleant civitatem : quare omnis populus frustra vexabitur contra hostes paucissimos ? (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃7   וישבו אל יהושע ויאמרו אליו אל יעל כל העם כאלפים איש או כשלשת אלפים איש יעלו ויכו את העי אל תיגע שמה את כל העם כי מעט המה ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 4  
So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.
- Trois mille hommes environ se mirent en marche, mais ils prirent la fuite devant les gens d'Aï. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀνέβησαν ὡσεὶ τρισχίλιοι ἄνδρες καὶ ἔφυγον ἀπὸ προσώπου τω̃ν ἀνδρω̃ν Γαι (Ⅲ)
- Ascenderunt ergo tria millia pugnatorum. Qui statim terga vertentes, (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃7   ויעלו מן העם שמה כשלשת אלפים איש וינסו לפני אנשי העי ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 5  
And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.
- Les gens d'Aï leur tuèrent environ trente-six hommes; ils les poursuivirent depuis la porte jusqu'à Schebarim, et les battirent à la descente. Le peuple fut consterné et perdit courage. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπέκτειναν ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν ἄνδρες Γαι εἰς τριάκοντα καὶ ἓξ ἄνδρας καὶ κατεδίωξαν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τη̃ς πύλης καὶ συνέτριψαν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ του̃ καταφερου̃ς καὶ ἐπτοήθη ἡ καρδία του̃ λαου̃ καὶ ἐγένετο ὥσπερ ὕδωρ (Ⅲ)
- percussi sunt a viris urbis Hai, et corruerunt ex eis triginta sex homines : persecutique sunt eos adversarii de porta usque ad Sabarim, et ceciderunt per prona fugientes : pertimuitque cor populi, et instar aquæ liquefactum est.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃7   ויכו מהם אנשי העי כשלשים וששה איש וירדפום לפני השער עד השברים ויכום במורד וימס לבב העם ויהי למים ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 6  
And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.
- Josué déchira ses vêtements, et se prosterna jusqu'au soir le visage contre terre devant l'arche de l'Éternel, lui et les anciens d'Israël, et ils se couvrirent la tête de poussière. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ διέρρηξεν 'Ιησου̃ς τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔπεσεν 'Ιησου̃ς ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐναντίον κυρίου ἕως ἑσπέρας αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπεβάλοντο χου̃ν ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Josue vero scidit vestimenta sua, et pronus cecidit in terram coram arca Domini usque ad vesperam, tam ipse quam omnes senes Israël : miseruntque pulverem super capita sua, (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃7   ויקרע יהושע שמלתיו ויפל על פניו ארצה לפני ארון יהוה עד הערב הוא וזקני ישראל ויעלו עפר על ראשם ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 7  
And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
- Josué dit: Ah! Seigneur Éternel, pourquoi as-tu fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer entre les mains des Amoréens et nous faire périr? Oh! si nous eussions su rester de l'autre côté du Jourdain! (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν 'Ιησου̃ς δέομαι κύριε ἵνα τί διεβίβασεν ὁ παι̃ς σου τὸν λαὸν του̃τον τὸν Ιορδάνην παραδου̃ναι αὐτὸν τω̨̃ Αμορραίω̨ ἀπολέσαι ἡμα̃ς καὶ εἰ κατεμείναμεν καὶ κατω̨κίσθημεν παρὰ τὸν Ιορδάνην (Ⅲ)
- et dixit Josue : Heu Domine Deus, quid voluisti traducere populum istum Jordanem fluvium, ut traderes nos in manus Amorrhæi, et perderes ? utinam ut cœpimus, mansissemus trans Jordanem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃7   ויאמר יהושע אהה אדני יהוה למה העברת העביר את העם הזה את הירדן לתת אתנו ביד האמרי להאבידנו ולו הואלנו ונשב בעבר הירדן ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 8  
O LORD, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!
- De grâce, Seigneur, que dirai-je, après qu'Israël a tourné le dos devant ses ennemis? (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τί ἐρω̃ ἐπεὶ μετέβαλεν Ισραηλ αὐχένα ἀπέναντι του̃ ἐχθρου̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Mi Domine Deus, quid dicam, videns Israëlem hostibus suis terga vertentem ? (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃7   בי אדני מה אמר אחרי אשר הפך ישראל ערף לפני איביו ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 9  
For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?
- Les Cananéens et tous les habitants du pays l'apprendront; ils nous envelopperont, et ils feront disparaître notre nom de la terre. Et que feras-tu pour ton grand nom? (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀκούσας ὁ Χαναναι̃ος καὶ πάντες οἱ κατοικου̃ντες τὴν γη̃ν περικυκλώσουσιν ἡμα̃ς καὶ ἐκτρίψουσιν ἡμα̃ς ἀπὸ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ τί ποιήσεις τὸ ὄνομά σου τὸ μέγα (Ⅲ)
- Audient Chananæi, et omnes habitatores terræ, et pariter conglobati circumdabunt nos, atque delebunt nomen nostrum de terra : et quid facies magno nomini tuo ?\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃7   וישמעו הכנעני וכל ישבי הארץ ונסבו עלינו והכריתו את שמנו מן הארץ ומה תעשה לשמך הגדול ס‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 10  
And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?
- L'Éternel dit à Josué: Lève-toi! Pourquoi restes-tu ainsi couché sur ton visage? (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς 'Ιησου̃ν ἀνάστηθι ἵνα τί του̃το σὺ πέπτωκας ἐπὶ πρόσωπόν σου (Ⅲ)
- Dixitque Dominus ad Josue : Surge : cur jaces pronus in terra ? (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃7   ויאמר יהוה אל יהושע קם לך למה זה אתה נפל על פניך ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 11  
Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
- Israël a péché; ils ont transgressé mon alliance que je leur ai prescrite, ils ont pris des choses dévouées par interdit, ils les ont dérobées et ont dissimulé, et ils les ont cachées parmi leurs bagages. (Ⅱ)
- ἡμάρτηκεν ὁ λαὸς καὶ παρέβη τὴν διαθήκην ἣν διεθέμην πρὸς αὐτούς καὶ κλέψαντες ἀπὸ του̃ ἀναθέματος ἐνέβαλον εἰς τὰ σκεύη αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Peccavit Israël, et prævaricatus est pactum meum : tuleruntque de anathemate, et furati sunt atque mentiti, et absconderunt inter vasa sua. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃7   חטא ישראל וגם עברו את בריתי אשר צויתי אותם וגם לקחו מן החרם וגם גנבו וגם כחשו וגם שמו בכליהם ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 12  
Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.
- Aussi les enfants d'Israël ne peuvent-ils résister à leurs ennemis; ils tourneront le dos devant leurs ennemis, car ils sont sous l'interdit; je ne serai plus avec vous, si vous ne détruisez pas l'interdit du milieu de vous. (Ⅱ)
- οὐ μὴ δύνωνται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ὑποστη̃ναι κατὰ πρόσωπον τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν αὐχένα ἐπιστρέψουσιν ἔναντι τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν ὅτι ἐγενήθησαν ἀνάθεμα οὐ προσθήσω ἔτι εἰ̃ναι μεθ' ὑμω̃ν ἐὰν μὴ ἐξάρητε τὸ ἀνάθεμα ἐξ ὑμω̃ν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Nec poterit Israël stare ante hostes suos, eosque fugiet : quia pollutus est anathemate. Non ero ultra vobiscum, donec conteratis eum qui hujus sceleris reus est. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃7   ולא יכלו בני ישראל לקום לפני איביהם ערף יפנו לפני איביהם כי היו לחרם לא אוסיף להיות עמכם אם לא תשמידו החרם מקרבכם ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 13  
Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.
- Lève-toi, sanctifie le peuple. Tu diras: Sanctifiez-vous pour demain; car ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Il y a de l'interdit au milieu de toi, Israël; tu ne pourras résister à tes ennemis, jusqu'à ce que vous ayez ôté l'interdit du milieu de vous. (Ⅱ)
- ἀναστὰς ἁγίασον τὸν λαὸν καὶ εἰπὸν ἁγιασθη̃ναι εἰς αὔριον τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ τὸ ἀνάθεμα ἐν ὑμι̃ν ἐστιν οὐ δυνήσεσθε ἀντιστη̃ναι ἀπέναντι τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν ὑμω̃ν ἕως ἂν ἐξάρητε τὸ ἀνάθεμα ἐξ ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Surge, sanctifica populum, et dic eis : Sanctificamini in crastinum : hæc enim dicit Dominus Deus Israël : Anathema in medio tui est, Israël : non poteris stare coram hostibus tuis, donec deleatur ex te qui hoc contaminatus est scelere. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃7   קם קדש את העם ואמרת התקדשו למחר כי כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל חרם בקרבך ישראל לא תוכל לקום לפני איביך עד הסירכם החרם מקרבכם ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 14  
In the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which the LORD taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the LORD shall take shall come by households; and the household which the LORD shall take shall come man by man.
- Vous vous approcherez le matin selon vos tribus; et la tribu que désignera l'Éternel s'approchera par famille, et la famille que désignera l'Éternel s'approchera par maisons, et la maison que désignera l'Éternel s'approchera par hommes. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ συναχθήσεσθε πάντες τὸ πρωὶ κατὰ φυλάς καὶ ἔσται ἡ φυλή ἣν ἂν δείξη̨ κύριος προσάξετε κατὰ δήμους καὶ τὸν δη̃μον ὃν ἐὰν δείξη̨ κύριος προσάξετε κατ' οἰ̃κον καὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον ὃν ἐὰν δείξη̨ κύριος προσάξετε κατ' ἄνδρα (Ⅲ)
- Accedetisque mane singuli per tribus vestras : et quamcumque tribum sors invenerit, accedet per cognationes suas, et cognatio per domos, domusque per viros. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃7   ונקרבתם בבקר לשבטיכם והיה השבט אשר ילכדנו יהוה יקרב למשפחות והמשפחה אשר ילכדנה יהוה תקרב לבתים והבית אשר ילכדנו יהוה יקרב לגברים ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 15  
And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.
- Celui qui sera désigné comme ayant pris de ce qui était dévoué par interdit sera brûlé au feu, lui et tout ce qui lui appartient, pour avoir transgressé l'alliance de l'Éternel et commis une infamie en Israël. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ὃς ἂν ἐνδειχθη̨̃ κατακαυθήσεται ἐν πυρὶ καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτω̨̃ ὅτι παρέβη τὴν διαθήκην κυρίου καὶ ἐποίησεν ἀνόμημα ἐν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- Et quicumque ille in hoc facinore fuerit deprehensus, comburetur igni cum omni substantia sua : quoniam prævaricatus est pactum Domini, et fecit nefas in Israël.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃7   והיה הנלכד בחרם ישרף באש אתו ואת כל אשר לו כי עבר את ברית יהוה וכי עשה נבלה בישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 16  
So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:
- Josué se leva de bon matin, et il fit approcher Israël selon ses tribus, et la tribu de Juda fut désignée. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ὤρθρισεν 'Ιησου̃ς καὶ προσήγαγεν τὸν λαὸν κατὰ φυλάς καὶ ἐνεδείχθη ἡ φυλὴ Ιουδα (Ⅲ)
- Surgens itaque Josue mane, applicuit Israël per tribus suas, et inventa est tribus Juda. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃7   וישכם יהושע בבקר ויקרב את ישראל לשבטיו וילכד שבט יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 17  
And he brought the family of Judah; and he took the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:
- Il fit approcher les familles de Juda, et la famille de Zérach fut désignée. Il fit approcher la famille de Zérach par maisons, et Zabdi fut désigné. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ προσήχθη κατὰ δήμους καὶ ἐνεδείχθη δη̃μος ὁ Ζαραϊ καὶ προσήχθη κατὰ ἄνδρα (Ⅲ)
- Quæ cum juxta familias suas esset oblata, inventa est familia Zare. Illam quoque per domos offerens, reperit Zabdi : (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃7   ויקרב את משפחת יהודה וילכד את משפחת הזרחי ויקרב את משפחת הזרחי לגברים וילכד זבדי ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 18  
And he brought his household man by man; and Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.
- Il fit approcher la maison de Zabdi par hommes, et Acan, fils de Carmi, fils de Zabdi, fils de Zérach, de la tribu de Juda, fut désigné. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐνεδείχθη Αχαρ υἱὸς Ζαμβρι υἱου̃ Ζαρα (Ⅲ)
- cujus domum in singulos dividens viros, invenit Achan filium Charmi filii Zabdi filii Zare de tribu Juda. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃7   ויקרב את ביתו לגברים וילכד עכן בן כרמי בן זבדי בן זרח למטה יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 19  
And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.
- Josué dit à Acan: Mon fils, donne gloire à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, et rends-lui hommage. Dis-moi donc ce que tu as fait, ne me le cache point. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν 'Ιησου̃ς τω̨̃ Αχαρ δὸς δόξαν σήμερον τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ Ισραηλ καὶ δὸς τὴν ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ ἀνάγγειλόν μοι τί ἐποίησας καὶ μὴ κρύψη̨ς ἀπ' ἐμου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et ait Josue ad Achan : Fili mi, da gloriam Domino Deo Israël, et confitere, atque indica mihi quid feceris, ne abscondas. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃7   ויאמר יהושע אל עכן בני שים נא כבוד ליהוה אלהי ישראל ותן לו תודה והגד נא לי מה עשית אל תכחד ממני ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 20  
And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
- Acan répondit à Josué, et dit: Il est vrai que j'ai péché contre l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, et voici ce que j'ai fait. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Αχαρ τω̨̃ 'Ιησοι̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἀληθω̃ς ἥμαρτον ἐναντίον κυρίου θεου̃ Ισραηλ οὕτως καὶ οὕτως ἐποίησα (Ⅲ)
- Responditque Achan Josue, et dixit ei : Vere ego peccavi Domino Deo Israël, et sic et sic feci. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃7   ויען עכן את יהושע ויאמר אמנה אנכי חטאתי ליהוה אלהי ישראל וכזאת וכזאת עשיתי ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 21  
When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
- J'ai vu dans le butin un beau manteau de Schinear, deux cent sicles d'argent, et un lingot d'or du poids de cinquante sicles; je les ai convoités, et je les ai pris; ils sont cachés dans la terre au milieu de ma tente, et l'argent est dessous. (Ⅱ)
- εἰ̃δον ἐν τη̨̃ προνομη̨̃ ψιλὴν ποικίλην καλὴν καὶ διακόσια δίδραχμα ἀργυρίου καὶ γλω̃σσαν μίαν χρυση̃ν πεντήκοντα διδράχμων καὶ ἐνθυμηθεὶς αὐτω̃ν ἔλαβον καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτὰ ἐγκέκρυπται ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ μου καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον κέκρυπται ὑποκάτω αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Vidi enim inter spolia pallium coccineum valde bonum, et ducentos siclos argenti, regulamque auream quinquaginta siclorum : et concupiscens abstuli, et abscondi in terra contra medium tabernaculi mei, argentumque fossa humo operui. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 21 ׃7   *ואראה **וארא בשלל אדרת שנער אחת טובה ומאתים שקלים כסף ולשון זהב אחד חמשים שקלים משקלו ואחמדם ואקחם והנם טמונים בארץ בתוך האהלי והכסף תחתיה ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 22  
So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it.
- Josué envoya des gens, qui coururent à la tente; et voici, les objets étaient cachés dans la tente d'Acan, et l'argent était dessous. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπέστειλεν 'Ιησου̃ς ἀγγέλους καὶ ἔδραμον εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν καὶ ταυ̃τα ἠ̃ν ἐγκεκρυμμένα εἰς τὴν σκηνήν καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον ὑποκάτω αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Misit ergo Josue ministros : qui currentes ad tabernaculum illius, repererunt cuncta abscondita in eodem loco, et argentum simul. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 22 ׃7   וישלח יהושע מלאכים וירצו האהלה והנה טמונה באהלו והכסף תחתיה ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 23  
And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the LORD.
- Ils les prirent du milieu de la tente, les apportèrent à Josué et à tous les enfants d'Israël, et les déposèrent devant l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξήνεγκαν αὐτὰ ἐκ τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς καὶ ἤνεγκαν πρὸς 'Ιησου̃ν καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους Ισραηλ καὶ ἔθηκαν αὐτὰ ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- Auferentesque de tentorio, tulerunt ea ad Josue, et ad omnes filios Israël, projeceruntque ante Dominum. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 23 ׃7   ויקחום מתוך האהל ויבאום אל יהושע ואל כל בני ישראל ויצקם לפני יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 24  
And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
- Josué et tout Israël avec lui prirent Acan, fils de Zérach, l'argent, le manteau, le lingot d'or, les fils et les filles d'Acan, ses boeufs, ses ânes, ses brebis, sa tente, et tout ce qui lui appartenait; et ils les firent monter dans la vallée d'Acor. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἔλαβεν 'Ιησου̃ς τὸν Αχαρ υἱὸν Ζαρα καὶ ἀνήγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς φάραγγα Αχωρ καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτου̃ καὶ τοὺς μόσχους αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰ ὑποζύγια αὐτου̃ καὶ πάντα τὰ πρόβατα αὐτου̃ καὶ τὴν σκηνὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτου̃ καὶ πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀνήγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς Εμεκαχωρ (Ⅲ)
- Tollens itaque Josue Achan filium Zare, argentumque et pallium, et auream regulam, filios quoque et filias ejus, boves et asinos et oves, ipsumque tabernaculum, et cunctam supellectilem (et omnis Israël cum eo), duxerunt eos ad vallem Achor : (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 24 ׃7   ויקח יהושע את עכן בן זרח ואת הכסף ואת האדרת ואת לשון הזהב ואת בניו ואת בנתיו ואת שורו ואת חמרו ואת צאנו ואת אהלו ואת כל אשר לו וכל ישראל עמו ויעלו אתם עמק עכור ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 25  
And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
- Josué dit: Pourquoi nous as-tu troublés? L'Éternel te troublera aujourd'hui. Et tout Israël le lapida. On les brûla au feu, on les lapida, (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν 'Ιησου̃ς τω̨̃ Αχαρ τί ὠλέθρευσας ἡμα̃ς ἐξολεθρεύσαι σε κύριος καθὰ καὶ σήμερον καὶ ἐλιθοβόλησαν αὐτὸν λίθοις πα̃ς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- ubi dixit Josue : Quia turbasti nos, exturbet te Dominus in die hac. Lapidavitque eum omnis Israël : et cuncta quæ illius erant, igne consumpta sunt. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 25 ׃7   ויאמר יהושע מה עכרתנו יעכרך יהוה ביום הזה וירגמו אתו כל ישראל אבן וישרפו אתם באש ויסקלו אתם באבנים ‬ (Ⅴ)
7. 26  
And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
- et l'on éleva sur Acan un grand monceau de pierres, qui subsiste encore aujourd'hui. Et l'Éternel revint de l'ardeur de sa colère. C'est à cause de cet événement qu'on a donné jusqu'à ce jour à ce lieu le nom de vallée d'Acor. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐπέστησαν αὐτω̨̃ σωρὸν λίθων μέγαν καὶ ἐπαύσατο κύριος του̃ θυμου̃ τη̃ς ὀργη̃ς διὰ του̃το ἐπωνόμασεν αὐτὸ Εμεκαχωρ ἕως τη̃ς ἡμέρας ταύτης (Ⅲ)
- Congregaveruntque super eum acervum magnum lapidum, qui permanet usque in præsentem diem. Et aversus est furor Domini ab eis. Vocatumque est nomen loci illius, vallis Achor, usque hodie. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 26 ׃7   ויקימו עליו גל אבנים גדול עד היום הזה וישב יהוה מחרון אפו על כן קרא שם המקום ההוא עמק עכור עד היום הזה פ‬ (Ⅴ)
