6. 1  
Καὶ εἶδον ⸀ὅτε ἤνοιξεν τὸ ἀρνίον μίαν ἐκ τῶν ἑπτὰ σφραγίδων, καὶ ἤκουσα ἑνὸς ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων ζῴων λέγοντος ὡς φωνῇ βροντῆς· ⸀Ἔρχου.
- Je regardai, quand l'agneau ouvrit un des sept sceaux, et j'entendis l'un des quatre êtres vivants qui disait comme d'une voix de tonnerre: Viens. (Ⅱ)
- And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. (Ⅲ)
- Et vidi quod aperuisset Agnus unum de septem sigillis, et audivi unum de quatuor animalibus, dicens tamquam vocem tonitrui : Veni, et vide. (Ⅳ)
6. 2  
καὶ ⸂εἶδον, καὶ⸃ ἰδοὺ ἵππος λευκός, καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἔχων τόξον, καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ στέφανος, καὶ ἐξῆλθεν νικῶν καὶ ἵνα νικήσῃ.
- Je regardai, et voici, parut un cheval blanc. Celui qui le montait avait un arc; une couronne lui fut donnée, et il partit en vainqueur et pour vaincre. (Ⅱ)
- And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Ⅲ)
- Et vidi : et ecce equus albus, et qui sedebat super illum, habebat arcum, et data est ei corona, et exivit vincens ut vinceret. (Ⅳ)
6. 3  
Καὶ ὅτε ἤνοιξεν τὴν ⸂σφραγῖδα τὴν δευτέραν⸃, ἤκουσα τοῦ δευτέρου ζῴου λέγοντος· Ἔρχου.
- Quand il ouvrit le second sceau, j'entendis le second être vivant qui disait: Viens. (Ⅱ)
- And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. (Ⅲ)
- Et cum aperuisset sigillum secundum, audivi secundum animal, dicens : Veni, et vide. (Ⅳ)
6. 4  
καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἄλλος ἵππος πυρρός, καὶ τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἐδόθη αὐτῷ λαβεῖν τὴν εἰρήνην ἐκ τῆς γῆς ⸀καὶ ἵνα ἀλλήλους ⸀σφάξουσιν, καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ μάχαιρα μεγάλη.
- Et il sortit un autre cheval, roux. Celui qui le montait reçut le pouvoir d'enlever la paix de la terre, afin que les hommes s'égorgeassent les uns les autres; et une grande épée lui fut donnée. (Ⅱ)
- And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. (Ⅲ)
- Et exivit alius equus rufus : et qui sedebat super illum, datum est ei ut sumeret pacem de terra, et ut invicem se interficiant, et datus est ei gladius magnus. (Ⅳ)
6. 5  
Καὶ ὅτε ἤνοιξε τὴν σφραγῖδα τὴν τρίτην, ἤκουσα τοῦ τρίτου ζῴου λέγοντος· Ἔρχου. καὶ ⸀εἶδον, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἵππος μέλας, καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἔχων ζυγὸν ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ.
- Quand il ouvrit le troisième sceau, j'entendis le troisième être vivant qui disait: Viens. Je regardai, et voici, parut un cheval noir. Celui qui le montait tenait une balance dans sa main. (Ⅱ)
- And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. (Ⅲ)
- Et cum aperuisset sigillum tertium, audivi tertium animal, dicens : Veni, et vide. Et ecce equus niger : et qui sedebat super illum, habebat stateram in manu sua. (Ⅳ)
6. 6  
καὶ ἤκουσα ⸀ὡς φωνὴν ἐν μέσῳ τῶν τεσσάρων ζῴων λέγουσαν· Χοῖνιξ σίτου δηναρίου, καὶ τρεῖς χοίνικες ⸀κριθῶν δηναρίου· καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον καὶ τὸν οἶνον μὴ ἀδικήσῃς.
- Et j'entendis au milieu des quatre êtres vivants une voix qui disait: Une mesure de blé pour un denier, et trois mesures d'orge pour un denier; mais ne fais point de mal à l'huile et au vin. (Ⅱ)
- And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. (Ⅲ)
- Et audivi tamquam vocem in medio quatuor animalium dicentium : Bilibris tritici denario et tres bilibres hordei denario, et vinum, et oleum ne læseris. (Ⅳ)

Καὶ ὅτε ἤνοιξεν τὴν σφραγῖδα τὴν τετάρτην, ἤκουσα ⸀φωνὴν τοῦ τετάρτου ζῴου λέγοντος· ⸀Ἔρχου.
- Quand il ouvrit le quatrième sceau, j'entendis la voix du quatrième être vivant qui disait: Viens. (Ⅱ)
- And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. (Ⅲ)
- Et cum aperuisset sigillum quartum, audivi vocem quarti animalis dicentis : Veni, et vide. (Ⅳ)
6. 8  
καὶ ⸂εἶδον, καὶ⸃ ἰδοὺ ἵππος χλωρός, καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ ὄνομα αὐτῷ ὁ Θάνατος, καὶ ὁ ᾅδης ἠκολούθει ⸂μετ’ αὐτοῦ⸃, καὶ ἐδόθη ⸀αὐτοῖς ἐξουσία ἐπὶ τὸ τέταρτον τῆς γῆς, ἀποκτεῖναι ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ καὶ ἐν λιμῷ καὶ ἐν θανάτῳ καὶ ὑπὸ τῶν θηρίων τῆς γῆς.
- Je regardai, et voici, parut un cheval d'une couleur pâle. Celui qui le montait se nommait la mort, et le séjour des morts l'accompagnait. Le pouvoir leur fut donné sur le quart de la terre, pour faire périr les hommes par l'épée, par la famine, par la mortalité, et par les bêtes sauvages de la terre. (Ⅱ)
- And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (Ⅲ)
- Et ecce equus pallidus : et qui sedebat super eum, nomen illi Mors, et infernus sequebatur eum, et data est illi potestas super quatuor partes terræ, interficere gladio, fame, et morte, et bestiis terræ. (Ⅳ)
6. 9  
Καὶ ὅτε ἤνοιξεν τὴν πέμπτην σφραγῖδα, εἶδον ὑποκάτω τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τὰς ψυχὰς τῶν ἐσφαγμένων διὰ τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ διὰ τὴν ⸀μαρτυρίαν ἣν εἶχον.
- Quand il ouvrit le cinquième sceau, je vis sous l'autel les âmes de ceux qui avaient été immolés à cause de la parole de Dieu et à cause du témoignage qu'ils avaient rendu. (Ⅱ)
- And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: (Ⅲ)
- Et cum aperuisset sigillum quintum, vidi subtus altare animas interfectorum propter verbum Dei, et propter testimonium, quod habebant : (Ⅳ)
6. 10  
καὶ ἔκραξαν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ λέγοντες· Ἕως πότε, ὁ δεσπότης ὁ ἅγιος καὶ ἀληθινός, οὐ κρίνεις καὶ ἐκδικεῖς τὸ αἷμα ἡμῶν ἐκ τῶν κατοικούντων ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς;
- Ils crièrent d'une voix forte, en disant: Jusques à quand, Maître saint et véritable, tarde-tu à juger, et à tirer vengeance de notre sang sur les habitants de la terre? (Ⅱ)
- And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? (Ⅲ)
- et clamabant voce magna, dicentes : Usquequo Domine (sanctus et verus), non judicas, et non vindicas sanguinem nostrum de iis qui habitant in terra ? (Ⅳ)
6. 11  
καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτοῖς ἑκάστῳ στολὴ λευκή, καὶ ἐρρέθη αὐτοῖς ἵνα ⸀ἀναπαύσονται ἔτι χρόνον ⸀μικρόν, ἕως ⸀πληρωθῶσιν καὶ οἱ σύνδουλοι αὐτῶν καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ⸀αὐτῶν οἱ μέλλοντες ⸀ἀποκτέννεσθαι ὡς καὶ αὐτοί.
- Une robe blanche fut donnée à chacun d'eux; et il leur fut dit de se tenir en repos quelque temps encore, jusqu'à ce que fût complet le nombre de leurs compagnons de service et de leurs frères qui devaient être mis à mort comme eux. (Ⅱ)
- And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (Ⅲ)
- Et datæ sunt illis singulæ stolæ albæ : et dictum est illis ut requiescerent adhuc tempus modicum donec compleantur conservi eorum, et fratres eorum, qui interficiendi sunt sicut et illi. (Ⅳ)
6. 12  
Καὶ εἶδον ὅτε ἤνοιξεν τὴν σφραγῖδα τὴν ἕκτην, καὶ σεισμὸς μέγας ἐγένετο, καὶ ὁ ἥλιος ⸂ἐγένετο μέλας⸃ ὡς σάκκος τρίχινος, καὶ ἡ σελήνη ὅλη ἐγένετο ὡς αἷμα,
- Je regardai, quand il ouvrit le sixième sceau; et il y eut un grand tremblement de terre, le soleil devint noir comme un sac de crin, la lune entière devint comme du sang, (Ⅱ)
- And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (Ⅲ)
- Et vidi cum aperuisset sigillum sextum : et ecce terræmotus magnus factus est, et sol factus est niger tamquam saccus cilicinus : et luna tota facta est sicut sanguis : (Ⅳ)
6. 13  
καὶ οἱ ἀστέρες τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἔπεσαν εἰς τὴν γῆν, ὡς συκῆ ⸀βάλλει τοὺς ὀλύνθους αὐτῆς ὑπὸ ἀνέμου μεγάλου σειομένη,
- et les étoiles du ciel tombèrent sur la terre, comme lorsqu'un figuier secoué par un vent violent jette ses figues vertes. (Ⅱ)
- And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. (Ⅲ)
- et stellæ de cælo ceciderunt super terram, sicut ficus emittit grossos suos cum a vento magno movetur : (Ⅳ)
6. 14  
καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς ἀπεχωρίσθη ὡς βιβλίον ἑλισσόμενον, καὶ πᾶν ὄρος καὶ νῆσος ἐκ τῶν τόπων αὐτῶν ἐκινήθησαν.
- Le ciel se retira comme un livre qu'on roule; et toutes les montagnes et les îles furent remuées de leurs places. (Ⅱ)
- And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. (Ⅲ)
- et cælum recessit sicut liber involutus : et omnis mons, et insulæ de locis suis motæ sunt : (Ⅳ)
6. 15  
καὶ οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ οἱ μεγιστᾶνες καὶ οἱ χιλίαρχοι καὶ οἱ πλούσιοι καὶ οἱ ἰσχυροὶ καὶ πᾶς δοῦλος καὶ ἐλεύθερος ἔκρυψαν ἑαυτοὺς εἰς τὰ σπήλαια καὶ εἰς τὰς πέτρας τῶν ὀρέων·
- Les rois de la terre, les grands, les chefs militaires, les riches, les puissants, tous les esclaves et les hommes libres, se cachèrent dans les cavernes et dans les rochers des montagnes. (Ⅱ)
- And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; (Ⅲ)
- et reges terræ, et principes, et tribuni, et divites, et fortes, et omnis servus, et liber absconderunt se in speluncis, et in petris montium : (Ⅳ)
6. 16  
καὶ λέγουσιν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ ταῖς πέτραις· Πέσετε ἐφ’ ἡμᾶς καὶ κρύψατε ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς ὀργῆς τοῦ ἀρνίου,
- Et ils disaient aux montagnes et aux rochers: Tombez sur nous, et cachez-nous devant la face de celui qui est assis sur le trône, et devant la colère de l'agneau; (Ⅱ)
- And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: (Ⅲ)
- et dicunt montibus, et petris : Cadite super nos, et abscondite nos a facie sedentis super thronum, et ab ira Agni : (Ⅳ)
6. 17  
ὅτι ἦλθεν ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ μεγάλη τῆς ὀργῆς ⸀αὐτῶν, καὶ τίς δύναται σταθῆναι;
- car le grand jour de sa colère est venu, et qui peut subsister? (Ⅱ)
- For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Ⅲ)
- quoniam venit dies magnus iræ ipsorum : et quis poterit stare ? (Ⅳ)
