t (knowledge) is of two kinds - direct and indirect. Sensitive (Mati) and Scriptural (Sruta) knowledge are indirect (Paroksha), they arise through the senses and the mind; the Visual (Avadhi) and Mental (Manahparyaya) knowledge are partially direct (Desha-pratyaksha). With limitations of substances and space, such knowledge is clear.
