29. 50  
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْآيَاتُ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
- Waqaloo lawla onzila AAalayhi ayatun min rabbihi qul innama alayatu AAinda Allahi wainnama ana natheerun mubeenun (Ⅰ)
- And still they say, "Why have not signs been sent down upon him from his Lord." Say, "Verily, signs are with Allah only, and I am but a plain Warner." (Ⅱ)
- And they say: Why are not portents sent down upon him from his Lord ? Say: Portents are with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner. (Ⅲ)
- They say, ´Why have signs not been gent down upon him from his Lord?´ Say: ´The signs are only with God, and I am only a plain warner. (Ⅳ)
- Ye they say: "Why are not Signs sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "The signs are indeed with Allah: and I am indeed a clear Warner." (Ⅵ)
29. 51  
أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
- Awalam yakfihim anna anzalna AAalayka alkitaba yutla AAalayhim inna fee thalika larahmatan wathikra liqawmin yuminoona (Ⅰ)
- Is it not enough for them that We have sent down to you the Book which you do recite to them? Verily, in that is a mercy and a reminder to a people who believe. (Ⅱ)
- Is it not enough for them that We have sent down unto thee the Scripture which is read unto them ? Lo! herein verily is mercy, and a reminder for folk who believe. (Ⅲ)
- What, is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down upon thee the Book that is recited to them? Surely in that is a mercy, and a reminder to a people who believe. (Ⅳ)
- And is it not enough for them that we have sent down to thee the Book which is rehearsed to them? Verily, in it is Mercy and a Reminder to those who believe. (Ⅵ)
29. 52  
قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
- Qul kafa biAllahi baynee wabaynakum shaheedan yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati waalardi waallatheena amanoo bialbatili wakafaroo biAllahi olaika humu alkhasiroona (Ⅰ)
- Say, "Allah is sufficient witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; and those who believe in vanities (falsehoods, frivolities) and disbelieve in Allah, they it is who are the losers." (Ⅱ)
- Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Allah sufficeth for witness between me and you. He knoweth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in Allah, they it is who are the losers. (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´God suffices as a witness between me and you.´ He knows whatsoever is in the heavens and earth. Those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in God -- those, they are the losers. (Ⅳ)
- Say: "Enough is Allah for a witness between me and you: He knows what is in the heavens and on earth. And it is those who believe in vanities and reject Allah, that will perish (in the end). (Ⅵ)
29. 53  
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
- WayastaAAjiloonaka bialAAathabi walawla ajalun musamman lajaahumu alAAathabu walayatiyannahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona (Ⅰ)
- They will wish you to hasten on the doom (punishment); but were it not that a term had been appointed, the doom would have come upon them ere now. And verily it will come upon them suddenly when they perceive not. (Ⅱ)
- They bid thee hasten on the doom (of Allah). And if a term had not been appointed, the doom would assuredly have come unto them (ere now). And verily it will come upon them suddenly when they perceive not. (Ⅲ)
- And they demand of thee to hasten the chastisement! But for a stated term the chastisement would have come upon them; but it shall come upon them suddenly, when they are not aware. (Ⅳ)
- They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment (for them): had it not been for a term (of respite) appointed, the Punishment would certainly have come to them: and it will certainly reach them,- of a sudden, while they perceive not! (Ⅵ)
29. 54  
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ
- YastaAAjiloonaka bialAAathabi wainna jahannama lamuheetatun bialkafireena (Ⅰ)
- They ask you to hurry on the doom, but, verily, hell encompasses the disbelievers! (Ⅱ)
- They bid thee hasten on the doom, when lo! hell verily will encompass the disbelievers (Ⅲ)
- They demand of thee to hasten the chastisement! Lo, Gehenna encompasses the unbelievers. (Ⅳ)
- They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- (Ⅵ)
29. 55  
يَوْمَ يَغْشَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
- Yawma yaghshahumu alAAathabu min fawqihim wamin tahti arjulihim wayaqoolu thooqoo ma kuntum taAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- On the Day when the Doom (or Wrath) shall overwhelm them from above them and from beneath their feet, and He will say, "Taste that which you have done." (Ⅱ)
- On the day when the doom will overwhelm them from above them and from underneath their feet, and He will say: Taste what ye used to do! (Ⅲ)
- Upon the day the chastisement shall overwhelm them from above them and from under their feet, and He shall say, ´Taste now what you were doing!´ (Ⅳ)
- On the Day that the Punishment shall cover them from above them and from below them, and (a Voice) shall say: "Taste ye (the fruits) of your deeds!" (Ⅵ)
29. 56  
يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ أَرْضِي وَاسِعَةٌ فَإِيَّايَ فَاعْبُدُونِ
- Ya AAibadiya allatheena amanoo inna ardee wasiAAatun faiyyaya faoAAbudooni (Ⅰ)
- O my servants who believe! Verily, My earth is spacious enough; therefore serve Me only. (Ⅱ)
- O my bondmen who believe! Lo! My earth is spacious. Therefor serve Me only. (Ⅲ)
- O My servants who believe, surely My earth is wide; therefore Me do you serve! (Ⅳ)
- O My servants who believe! truly, spacious is My Earth: therefore serve ye Me - (and Me alone)! (Ⅵ)
29. 57  
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
- Kullu nafsin thaiqatu almawti thumma ilayna turjaAAoona (Ⅰ)
- Every soul must taste of death, then unto Us shall you return. (Ⅱ)
- Every soul will taste of death. Then unto Us ye will be returned. (Ⅲ)
- Every soul shall taste of death; then unto Us you shall be returned. (Ⅳ)
- Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back. (Ⅵ)
29. 58  
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ نِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ
- Waallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lanubawwiannahum mina aljannati ghurafan tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha niAAma ajru alAAamileena (Ⅰ)
- Those who believe and act right, We will surely house them in lofty (or upper) chambers of the Garden beneath which rivers flow; to dwell therein secure (or for ever) - an excellent reward for the toilers (workers of good), (Ⅱ)
- Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers, (Ⅲ)
- And those who believe, and do righteous deeds, We shall surely lodge them in lofty chambers of paradise, underneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; and excellent is the wage of those who labour, (Ⅳ)
- But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness - to them shall We give a Home in Heaven,- lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers,- to dwell therein for aye;- an excellent reward for those who do (good)!- (Ⅵ)
29. 59  
الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
- Allatheena sabaroo waAAala rabbihim yatawakkaloona (Ⅰ)
- Those who persevere and put their trust in (or rely on) their Lord! (Ⅱ)
- Who persevere, and put their trust in their Lord! (Ⅲ)
- such men as are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. (Ⅳ)
- Those who persevere in patience, and put their trust, in their Lord and Cherisher. (Ⅵ)
29. 60  
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَابَّةٍ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
- Wakaayyin min dabbatin la tahmilu rizqaha Allahu yarzuquha waiyyakum wahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu (Ⅰ)
- How many a beast cannot carry its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you; He is the Hearer, the Knower. (Ⅱ)
- And how many an animal there is that beareth not its own provision! Allah provideth for it and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knower. (Ⅲ)
- How many a beast that bears not its own provision, but God provides for it and you! He is the All-hearer, the All-knower. (Ⅳ)
- How many are the creatures that carry not their own sustenance? It is Allah who feeds (both) them and you: for He hears and knows (all things). (Ⅵ)
29. 61  
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
- Walain saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawati waalarda wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara layaqoolunna Allahu faanna yufakoona (Ⅰ)
- And if you should ask them, "Who created the heavens and the earth, and subjected the sun and the moon?" they will surely say, "Allah!" how then can they turn away? (Ⅱ)
- And if thou wert to ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, and constrained the sun and the moon (to their appointed work) ? they would say: Allah. How then are they turned away ? (Ⅲ)
- If thou askest them, ´Who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?´ they will say, ´God.´ How then are they perverted? (Ⅳ)
- If indeed thou ask them who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law), they will certainly reply, "Allah". How are they then deluded away (from the truth)? (Ⅵ)
29. 62  
اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
- Allahu yabsutu alrrizqa liman yashao min AAibadihi wayaqdiru lahu inna Allaha bikulli shayin AAaleemun (Ⅰ)
- Allah extends provision to whomsoever He will of His servants, or restricts it; verily, Allah is aware of all things. (Ⅱ)
- Allah maketh the provision wide for whom He will of His bondmen, and straiteneth it for whom (He will). Lo! Allah is Aware of all things. (Ⅲ)
- God outspreads and straitens His provision to whomsoever He will of His servants; God has knowledge of everything. (Ⅳ)
- Allah enlarges the sustenance (which He gives) to whichever of His servants He pleases; and He (similarly) grants by (strict) measure, (as He pleases): for Allah has full knowledge of all things. (Ⅵ)
29. 63  
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ مِن بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
- Walain saaltahum man nazzala mina alssamai maan faahya bihi alarda min baAAdi mawtiha layaqoolunna Allahu quli alhamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAqiloona (Ⅰ)
- And if you should ask them, "Who causes water to come down from the sky and revives therewith the earth after its death?" they will surely say, "Allah!" Say, "And praise be to Allah!" But most of them have no sense. (Ⅱ)
- And if thou wert to ask them: Who causeth water to come down from the sky, and therewith reviveth the earth after its death ? they verily would say: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them have no sense. (Ⅲ)
- If thou askest them, ´Who sends down out of heaven water, and therewith revives the earth after it is dead?´ they will say, ´God.´ Say: ´Praise belongs to God.´ Nay, but most of them have no understanding. (Ⅳ)
- And if indeed thou ask them who it is that sends down rain from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death, they will certainly reply, "Allah!" Say, "Praise be to Allah!" But most of them understand not. (Ⅵ)
29. 64  
وَمَا هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
- Wama hathihi alhayatu alddunya illa lahwun walaAAibun wainna alddara alakhirata lahiya alhayawanu law kanoo yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- This life of the world is nothing but a pastime and game (or a sport and a play); but, verily, the abode of the Hereafter, that is life, if they did but knew! (Ⅱ)
- This life of the world is but a pastime and a game. Lo! the home of the Hereafter - that is Life, if they but knew. (Ⅲ)
- This present life is naught but a diversion and a sport; surely the Last Abode is Life, did they but know. (Ⅳ)
- What is the life of this world but amusement and play? but verily the Home in the Hereafter,- that is life indeed, if they but knew. (Ⅵ)
29. 65  
فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا فِي الْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
- Faitha rakiboo fee alfulki daAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeena falamma najjahum ila albarri itha hum yushrikoona (Ⅰ)
- And when they ride in the ship they call upon Allah, making their religion seem sincere to Him; but when He delivers them safely to the shore, behold, they associate others with Him; (Ⅱ)
- And when they mount upon the ships they pray to Allah, making their faith pure for Him only, but when He bringeth them safe to land, behold! they ascribe partners (unto Him), (Ⅲ)
- When they embark in the ships, they call on God, making their religion sincerely His; but when He has delivered them to the land, they associate others with Him, (Ⅳ)
- Now, if they embark on a boat, they call on Allah, making their devotion sincerely (and exclusively) to Him; but when He has delivered them safely to (dry) land, behold, they give a share (of their worship to others)!- (Ⅵ)
29. 66  
لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
- Liyakfuroo bima ataynahum waliyatamattaAAoo fasawfa yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts; and that they may have some worldly enjoyment: but soon they shall come to know. (Ⅱ)
- That they may disbelieve in that which We have given them, and that they may take their ease. But they will come to know. (Ⅲ)
- that they may be ungrateful for what We have given them, and take their enjoyment; they will soon know! (Ⅳ)
- Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to (worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know. (Ⅵ)
29. 67  
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا آمِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ النَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ ۚ أَفَبِالْبَاطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَكْفُرُونَ
- Awalam yaraw anna jaAAalna haraman aminan wayutakhattafu alnnasu min hawlihim afabialbatili yuminoona wabiniAAmati Allahi yakfuroona (Ⅰ)
- Have they not seen that We have made a Safe Sanctuary whilst people are being snatched away around them? Is it then that they believe in falsehood, and disbelieve the bounty of Allah? (Ⅱ)
- Have they not seen that We have appointed a sanctuary immune (from violence), while mankind are ravaged all around them ? Do they then believe in falsehood and disbelieve in the bounty of Allah ? (Ⅲ)
- Have they not seen that We have appointed a sanctuary secure, while all about them the people are snatched away? What, do they believe in vanity, and do they disbelieve in God´s blessing? (Ⅳ)
- Do they not then see that We have made a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then, do they believe in that which is vain, and reject the Grace of Allah? (Ⅵ)
29. 68  
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَافِرِينَ
- Waman athlamu mimmani iftara AAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththaba bialhaqqi lamma jaahu alaysa fee jahannama mathwan lilkafireena (Ⅰ)
- But who is more unjust than he who devises against Allah a lie, or rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is there not in hell a home for the disbelievers? (Ⅱ)
- Who doeth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie concerning Allah, or denieth the truth when it cometh unto him ? Is not there a home in hell for disbelievers ? (Ⅲ)
- And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or cries lies to the truth when it comes to him? What, is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? (Ⅳ)
- And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith? (Ⅵ)
29. 69  
وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
- Waallatheena jahadoo feena lanahdiyannahum subulana wainna Allaha lamaAAa almuhsineena (Ⅰ)
- But those who strive in Our cause, We will surely guide them into Our Way, for, verily, Allah is with those who do right. (Ⅱ)
- As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good. (Ⅲ)
- But those who struggle in Our cause, surely We shall guide them in Our ways; and God is with the good-doers. (Ⅳ)
- And those who strive in Our (cause),- We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right. (Ⅵ)
