41. 50  
وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَاهُ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا مِن بَعْدِ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَٰذَا لِي وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِن رُّجِعْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي إِنَّ لِي عِندَهُ لَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ
- Walain athaqnahu rahmatan minna min baAAdi darraa massathu layaqoolanna hatha lee wama athunnu alssaAAata qaimatan walain rujiAAtu ila rabbee inna lee AAindahu lalhusna falanunabbianna allatheena kafaroo bima AAamiloo walanutheeqannahum min AAathabin ghaleethin (Ⅰ)
- And verily, if We make him taste mercy from Us after distress that has touched him, he would say, "This is of me, and I do not think the Hour will come to pass, and if I am sent back to my Lord, I shall have with Him sure good." But We will most certainly inform the disbelievers of all that which they did, and We will most certainly make them taste of hard chastisement. (Ⅱ)
- And verily, if We cause him to taste mercy after some hurt that hath touched him, he will say: This is my own; and I deem not that the Hour will ever rise, and if I am brought back to my Lord, I surely shall be better off with Him - But We verily shall tell those who disbelieve (all) that they did, and We verily shall make them taste hard punishment. (Ⅲ)
- And if We let him taste mercy from Us after hardship that has visited him, he surely says, ´This is mine; I think not the Hour is coming. If I am returned to my Lord, surely the reward most fair with Him will be mine.´ Then We shall tell the unbelievers the things they have done, and assuredly We shall let them taste a harsh chastisement. (Ⅳ)
- When we give him a taste of some Mercy from Ourselves, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say, "This is due to my (merit): I think not that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) be established; but if I am brought back to my Lord, I have (much) good (stored) in His sight!" But We will show the Unbelievers the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty. (Ⅵ)
41. 51  
وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الْإِنسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَىٰ بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَاءٍ عَرِيضٍ
- Waitha anAAamna AAala alinsani aAArada wanaa bijanibihi waitha massahu alshsharru fathoo duAAain AAareedin (Ⅰ)
- And when We show favour to man, he turns aside and withdraws himself; and when evil touches him, he makes lengthy supplications. (Ⅱ)
- When We show favour unto man, he withdraweth and turneth aside, but when ill toucheth him then he aboundeth in prayer. (Ⅲ)
- And when We bless man, he turns away and withdraws aside; but when evil visits him, he is full of endless prayers. (Ⅳ)
- When We bestow favours on man, he turns away, and gets himself remote on his side (instead of coming to Us); and when evil seizes him, (he comes) full of prolonged prayer! (Ⅵ)
41. 52  
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُم بِهِ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ
- Qul araaytum in kana min AAindi Allahi thumma kafartum bihi man adallu mimman huwa fee shiqaqin baAAeedin (Ⅰ)
- Say, "Bethink you: if it is from Allah and you reject it, who is in greater error than he who is in open feud (or schism or opposition)? (Ⅱ)
- Bethink you: If it is from Allah and ye reject it - Who is further astray than one who is at open feud (with Allah) ? (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´What think you? If it is from God, then you disbelieve in it, who is further astray than he who is in wide schism?´ (Ⅳ)
- Say: "See ye if the (Revelation) is (really) from Allah, and yet do ye reject it? Who is more astray than one who is in a schism far (from any purpose)?" (Ⅵ)
41. 53  
سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الْآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ ۗ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
- Sanureehim ayatina fee alafaqi wafee anfusihim hatta yatabayyana lahum annahu alhaqqu awalam yakfi birabbika annahu AAala kulli shayin shaheedun (Ⅰ)
- We will soon show them Our signs on the horizons (in the Universe) and within themselves (or their own souls), until it become manifest unto them that it is the truth. Is not your Lord sufficient , since He is Witness over all things? (Ⅱ)
- We shall show them Our portents on the horizons and within themselves until it will be manifest unto them that it is the Truth. Doth not thy Lord suffice, since He is Witness over all things ? (Ⅲ)
- We shall show them Our signs in the horizons and in themselves, till it is clear to them that it is the truth. Suffices it not as to thy Lord, that He is witness over everything? (Ⅳ)
- Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things? (Ⅵ)
41. 54  
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطٌ
- Ala innahum fee miryatin min liqai rabbihim ala innahu bikulli shayin muheetun (Ⅰ)
- What! Are they still in doubt about the meeting with their Lord? What! Does He not encompass (surround and penetrate) all things? (Ⅱ)
- How! Are they still in doubt about the meeting with their Lord ? Lo! Is not He surrounding all things ? (Ⅲ)
- Are they not in doubt touching the encounter with their Lord? Does He not encompass everything? (Ⅳ)
- Ah indeed! Are they in doubt concerning the Meeting with their Lord? Ah indeed! It is He that doth encompass all things! (Ⅵ)
