43. 50  
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ
- Falamma kashafna AAanhumu alAAathaba itha hum yankuthoona (Ⅰ)
- But when We removed from them the chastisement, lo! They broke the pledge. (Ⅱ)
- But when We eased them of the torment, behold! they broke their word. (Ⅲ)
- But when We removed from them the chastisement, behold, they broke their troth. (Ⅳ)
- But when We removed the Penalty from them, behold, they broke their word. (Ⅵ)
43. 51  
وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَٰذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِي ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
- Wanada firAAawnu fee qawmihi qala ya qawmi alaysa lee mulku misra wahathihi alanharu tajree min tahtee afala tubsiroona (Ⅰ)
- And Pharaoh proclaimed amongst his people, saying, "O my people! Is not the sovereignty of Egypt mine? And these rivers which flow beneath me; do you not then see? (Ⅱ)
- And Pharaoh caused a proclamation to be made among his people saying: O my people! Is not mine the sovereignty of Egypt and these rivers flowing under me ? Can ye not then discern ? (Ⅲ)
- And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people: ´O my people, do I not possess the kingdom of Egypt, and these rivers flowing beneath me? What, do you not see? (Ⅳ)
- And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not the dominion of Egypt belong to me, (witness) these streams flowing underneath my (palace)? What! see ye not then? (Ⅵ)
43. 52  
أَمْ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
- Am ana khayrun min hatha allathee huwa maheenun wala yakadu yubeenu (Ⅰ)
- "Nay! I am surely better than this fellow, who is a contemptible wretch, and who can hardly speak distinctly (or plainly): (Ⅱ)
- I am surely better than this fellow, who is despicable and can hardly make (his meaning) plain! (Ⅲ)
- Or am I better than this man, who is contemptible and scarcely makes things clear? (Ⅳ)
- "Am I not better than this (Moses), who is a contemptible wretch and can scarcely express himself clearly? (Ⅵ)
43. 53  
فَلَوْلَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ
- Falawla olqiya AAalayhi aswiratun min thahabin aw jaa maAAahu almalaikatu muqtarineena (Ⅰ)
- "But why have not bracelets of gold been put upon him, or why have there not come with him angels as companions?" (Ⅱ)
- Why, then, have armlets of gold not been set upon him, or angels sent along with him ? (Ⅲ)
- Why then have bracelets of gold not been cast on him, or angels not come with him conjoined?´ (Ⅳ)
- "Then why are not gold bracelets bestowed on him, or (why) come (not) with him angels accompanying him in procession?" (Ⅵ)
43. 54  
فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
- Faistakhaffa qawmahu faataAAoohu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena (Ⅰ)
- So he incited his people to levity and they obeyed him: surely they were a transgressing people. (Ⅱ)
- Thus he persuaded his people to make light (of Moses), and they obeyed him. Lo! they were a wanton folk. (Ⅲ)
- So he made his people unsteady, and they obeyed him; surely they were an ungodly people. (Ⅳ)
- Thus did he make fools of his people, and they obeyed him: truly were they a people rebellious (against Allah). (Ⅵ)
43. 55  
فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
- Falamma asafoona intaqamna minhum faaghraqnahum ajmaAAeena (Ⅰ)
- Then when they displeased Us, We inflicted a retribution on them, so We drowned them every one, (Ⅱ)
- So, when they angered Us, We punished them and drowned them every one. (Ⅲ)
- So, when they had angered Us, We took vengeance on them, and We drowned them all together; (Ⅳ)
- When at length they provoked Us, We exacted retribution from them, and We drowned them all. (Ⅵ)
43. 56  
فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِّلْآخِرِينَ
- FajaAAalnahum salafan wamathalan lilakhireena (Ⅰ)
- And We made them a precedent and example to the later generations. (Ⅱ)
- And We made them a thing past, and an example for those after (them). (Ⅲ)
- and We made them a thing past, and We appointed them for an example to later folk. (Ⅳ)
- And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages. (Ⅵ)
43. 57  
۞ وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ
- Walamma duriba ibnu maryama mathalan itha qawmuka minhu yasiddoona (Ⅰ)
- And when the example of the son of Mary (Jesus) is given, lo! Your people raise a clamour (of ridicule) there at. (Ⅱ)
- And when the son of Mary is quoted as an example, behold! the folk laugh out, (Ⅲ)
- And when the son of Mary is cited as an example, behold, thy people turn away from it (Ⅳ)
- When (Jesus) the son of Mary is held up as an example, behold, thy people raise a clamour thereat (in ridicule)! (Ⅵ)
43. 58  
وَقَالُوا أَآلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ
- Waqaloo aalihatuna khayrun am huwa ma daraboohu laka illa jadalan bal hum qawmun khasimoona (Ⅰ)
- And they say, "Are our gods better, or is he?" They raise not the objection save by way of disputation; nay, they are a contentious people. (Ⅱ)
- And say: Are our gods better, or is he ? They raise not the objection save for argument. Nay! but they are a contentious folk. (Ⅲ)
- and say, ´What, are our gods better, or he?´ They cite not him to thee, save to dispute;. nay, but they are a people contentious. (Ⅳ)
- And they say, "Are our gods best, or he?" This they set forth to thee, only by way of disputation: yea, they are a contentious people. (Ⅵ)
43. 59  
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ مَثَلًا لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
- In huwa illa AAabdun anAAamna AAalayhi wajaAAalnahu mathalan libanee israeela (Ⅰ)
- He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favour, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel. (Ⅱ)
- He is nothing but a slave on whom We bestowed favour, and We made him a pattern for the Children of Israel. (Ⅲ)
- He is only a servant We blessed, and We made him to be an example to the Children of Israel. (Ⅳ)
- He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. (Ⅵ)
43. 60  
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنكُم مَّلَائِكَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ
- Walaw nashao lajaAAalna minkum malaikatan fee alardi yakhlufoona (Ⅰ)
- And if We please, We could make among you angels to be vicegerents (or successors) in the land. (Ⅱ)
- And had We willed We could have set among you angels to be viceroys in the earth. (Ⅲ)
- Had We willed, We would have appointed angels among you to be successors in the earth. (Ⅳ)
- And if it were Our Will, We could make angels from amongst you, succeeding each other on the earth. (Ⅵ)
43. 61  
وَإِنَّهُ لَعِلْمٌ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَاتَّبِعُونِ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
- Wainnahu laAAilmun lilssaAAati fala tamtarunna biha waittabiAAooni hatha siratun mustaqeemun (Ⅰ)
- And most surely it is (the above events or the Quran or he, Jesus) is a sign of the knowledge of coming of the Hour (of Resurrection and Judgment), therefore have no doubt about it and follow Me: this is the Straight Way. (Ⅱ)
- And lo! verily there is knowledge of the Hour. So doubt ye not concerning it, but follow Me. This is the right path. (Ⅲ)
- It is knowledge of the Hour; doubt not concerning it, and follow me. This is a straight path. (Ⅳ)
- And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way. (Ⅵ)
43. 62  
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
- Wala yasuddannakumu alshshaytanu innahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun (Ⅰ)
- And let not the Satan prevent you; surely he is your open enemy. (Ⅱ)
- And let not Satan turn you aside. Lo! he is an open enemy for you. (Ⅲ)
- Let not Satan bar you; he is for you a manifest foe. (Ⅳ)
- Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed. (Ⅵ)
43. 63  
وَلَمَّا جَاءَ عِيسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي تَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
- Walamma jaa AAeesa bialbayyinati qala qad jitukum bialhikmati waliobayyina lakum baAAda allathee takhtalifoona feehi faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni (Ⅰ)
- And when Jesus came with clear arguments he said, "I have come unto you with wisdom, and that I may make clear to you some of that wherein you differ; so be careful of your duty to Allah and obey me: (Ⅱ)
- When Jesus came with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), he said: I have come unto you with wisdom, and to make plain some of that concerning which ye differ. So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. (Ⅲ)
- And when Jesus came with the clear signs he said, ´I have come to you with wisdom, and that I may make clear to you some of that whereon you are at variance; so fear you God and obey you me. (Ⅳ)
- When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah and obey me. (Ⅵ)
43. 64  
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
- Inna Allaha huwa rabbee warabbukum faoAAbudoohu hatha siratun mustaqeemun (Ⅰ)
- "Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is the right path." (See John10:37-38,17:3-14) (Ⅱ)
- Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a right path. (Ⅲ)
- Assuredly God is my Lord and your Lord; therefore serve Him; this is a straight path.´ (Ⅳ)
- "For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way." (Ⅵ)
43. 65  
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ
- Faikhtalafa alahzabu min baynihim fawaylun lillatheena thalamoo min AAathabi yawmin aleemin (Ⅰ)
- But parties from among them differed, so woe to those who do wrong because of the chastisement of a painful day. (Ⅱ)
- But the factions among them differed. Then woe unto those who do wrong from the doom of a painful day. (Ⅲ)
- But the parties among them fell into variance; so woe unto those who did evil, because of the chastisement of a painful day. (Ⅳ)
- But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers, from the Penalty of a Grievous Day! (Ⅵ)
43. 66  
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
- Hal yanthuroona illa alssaAAata an tatiyahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona (Ⅰ)
- Do they wait for aught but the Hour, that it should come upon them all of a sudden while they perceive not? (Ⅱ)
- Await they aught save the Hour, that it shall come upon them suddenly, when they know not ? (Ⅲ)
- Are they looking for aught but the Hour, that it shall come upon them suddenly, when they are not aware? (Ⅳ)
- Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not? (Ⅵ)
43. 67  
الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ
- Alakhillao yawmaithin baAAduhum libaAAdin AAaduwwun illa almuttaqeena (Ⅰ)
- The friends shall on that day be enemies one to another, except those who guard (against evil). (Ⅱ)
- Friends on that day will be foes one to another, save those who kept their duty (to Allah). (Ⅲ)
- Friends on that day shall be foes to one another, but the god-fearing. (Ⅳ)
- Friends on that day will be foes, one to another,- except the Righteous. (Ⅵ)
43. 68  
يَا عِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَا أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
- Ya AAibadi la khawfun AAalaykumu alyawma wala antum tahzanoona (Ⅰ)
- O My servants! There is no fear for you this day, nor shall you grieve, (Ⅱ)
- O My slaves! For you there is no fear this day, nor is it ye who grieve; (Ⅲ)
- ´O My servants, today no fear is on you, neither do you sorrow´ -- (Ⅳ)
- My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- (Ⅵ)
43. 69  
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ
- Allatheena amanoo biayatina wakanoo muslimeena (Ⅰ)
- Those who believed in Our revelations and Surrendered (in Islam), (Ⅱ)
- (Ye) who believed Our revelations and were self-surrendered, (Ⅲ)
- even those who believed in Our signs, and had surrendered themselves (Ⅳ)
- (Being) those who have believed in Our Signs and bowed (their wills to Ours) in Islam. (Ⅵ)
43. 70  
ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنتُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ
- Odkhuloo aljannata antum waazwajukum tuhbaroona (Ⅰ)
- Enter you the Garden, you and your wives, rejoicing. (Ⅱ)
- Enter the Garden, ye and your wives, to be made glad. (Ⅲ)
- ´Enter Paradise, you and your wives, walking with joy!´ (Ⅳ)
- Enter ye the Garden, ye and your wives, in (beauty and) rejoicing. (Ⅵ)
43. 71  
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ ۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ ۖ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
- Yutafu AAalayhim bisihafin min thahabin waakwabin wafeeha ma tashtaheehi alanfusu watalaththu alaAAyunu waantum feeha khalidoona (Ⅰ)
- There shall be sent round to them golden plates and cups and therein shall be all that their souls desire, and delights the eyes, and you shall abide therein. (Ⅱ)
- Therein are brought round for them trays of gold and goblets, and therein is all that souls desire and eyes find sweet. And ye are immortal therein. (Ⅲ)
- There shall be passed around them platters of gold, and cups, therein being whatever the souls desire, and the eyes delight in. ´And therein, you shall dwell forever. (Ⅳ)
- To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their ayes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). (Ⅵ)
43. 72  
وَتِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
- Watilka aljannatu allatee oorithtumooha bima kuntum taAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- Such will be the Garden which you are given as an inheritance for what you did. (Ⅱ)
- This is the Garden which ye are made to inherit because of what ye used to do. (Ⅲ)
- This is the Paradise that you have been given for an inheritance for the things that you were doing. (Ⅳ)
- Such will be the Garden of which ye are made heirs for your (good) deeds (in life). (Ⅵ)
43. 73  
لَكُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مِّنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
- Lakum feeha fakihatun katheeratun minha takuloona (Ⅰ)
- For you therein are abundant fruits of which you shall eat with full satisfaction. (Ⅱ)
- Therein for you is fruit in plenty whence to eat. (Ⅲ)
- Therein you have abundant fruits, whereof you may eat.´ (Ⅳ)
- Ye shall have therein abundance of fruit, from which ye shall have satisfaction. (Ⅵ)
43. 74  
إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ
- Inna almujrimeena fee AAathabi jahannama khalidoona (Ⅰ)
- Surely the guilty shall abide in the chastisement of hell. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! the guilty are immortal in hell's torment. (Ⅲ)
- But the evildoers dwell forever in the chastisement of Gehenna (Ⅳ)
- The sinners will be in the Punishment of Hell, to dwell therein (for aye): (Ⅵ)
43. 75  
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ
- La yufattaru AAanhum wahum feehi mublisoona (Ⅰ)
- It shall not be abated from them and they shall despair therein. (Ⅱ)
- It is not relaxed for them, and they despair therein. (Ⅲ)
- that is not abated for them and therein they are sore confounded. (Ⅳ)
- Nowise will the (Punishment) be lightened for them, and in despair will they be there overwhelmed. (Ⅵ)
43. 76  
وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوا هُمُ الظَّالِمِينَ
- Wama thalamnahum walakin kanoo humu alththalimeena (Ⅰ)
- It is not We who are unjust to them, but it is they who were unjust to themselves. (Ⅱ)
- We wronged them not, but they it was who did the wrong. (Ⅲ)
- We never wronged them, but they themselves did the wrong. (Ⅳ)
- Nowise shall We be unjust to them: but it is they who have been unjust themselves. (Ⅵ)
43. 77  
وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّاكِثُونَ
- Wanadaw ya maliku liyaqdi AAalayna rabbuka qala innakum makithoona (Ⅰ)
- And they shall call out, "O Malik! Let your Lord make an end of us." He shall say, "Verily, here you must remain." (Ⅱ)
- And they cry: O master! Let thy Lord make an end of us. He saith: Lo! here ye must remain. (Ⅲ)
- And they shall call, ´O (Ⅳ)
- They will cry: "O Malik! would that thy Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Nay, but ye shall abide!" (Ⅵ)
43. 78  
لَقَدْ جِئْنَاكُم بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ
- Laqad jinakum bialhaqqi walakinna aktharakum lilhaqqi karihoona (Ⅰ)
- Certainly We have brought you the Truth, but most of you are averse to the Truth. (Ⅱ)
- We verily brought the Truth unto you, but ye were, most of you, averse to the Truth. (Ⅲ)
- ´We brought you the truth, but most of you were averse to the truth.´ (Ⅳ)
- Verily We have brought the Truth to you: but most of you have a hatred for Truth. (Ⅵ)
43. 79  
أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ
- Am abramoo amran fainna mubrimoona (Ⅰ)
- Or have they settled affairs? But it is We who are the Settlers. (Ⅱ)
- Or do they determine any thing (against the Prophet) ? Lo! We (also) are determining. (Ⅲ)
- Or have they contrived some matter? We too are contriving. (Ⅳ)
- What! have they settled some plan (among themselves)? But it is We Who settle things. (Ⅵ)
43. 80  
أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
- Am yahsaboona anna la nasmaAAu sirrahum wanajwahum bala warusuluna ladayhim yaktuboona (Ⅰ)
- Or do they think that We do not hear what they conceal and their secret discourses? Indeed We do, and Our messengers are with them, recording. (Ⅱ)
- Or deem they that We cannot hear their secret thoughts and private confidences ? Nay, but Our envoys, present with them, do record. (Ⅲ)
- Or do they think We hear not their secret and what they conspire together? Yes indeed, and Our messengers are present with them writing it down. (Ⅳ)
- Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record. (Ⅵ)
43. 81  
قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ
- Qul in kana lilrrahmani waladun faana awwalu alAAabideena (Ⅰ)
- Say, "If the Beneficent has a son, I am the foremost of those who serve him." (Ⅱ)
- Say (O Muhammad): If the Beneficent One hath a son, then, I shall be first among the worshippers. (But there is no son). (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´If the All-merciful has a son, then I am the first to serve him. (Ⅳ)
- Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship." (Ⅵ)
43. 82  
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
- Subhana rabbi alssamawati waalardi rabbi alAAarshi AAamma yasifoona (Ⅰ)
- Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority), from what they describe. (Ⅱ)
- Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe (unto Him)! (Ⅲ)
- Glory be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, above that they describe.´ (Ⅳ)
- Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! (Ⅵ)
43. 83  
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
- Fatharhum yakhoodoo wayalAAaboo hatta yulaqoo yawmahumu allathee yooAAadoona (Ⅰ)
- So leave them flounder in false discourses and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. (Ⅱ)
- So let them flounder (in their talk) and play until they meet the Day which they are promised. (Ⅲ)
- Then leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised. (Ⅳ)
- So leave them to babble and play (with vanities) until they meet that Day of theirs, which they have been promised. (Ⅵ)
43. 84  
وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِلَٰهٌ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَٰهٌ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ
- Wahuwa allathee fee alssamai ilahun wafee alardi ilahun wahuwa alhakeemu alAAaleemu (Ⅰ)
- And He it is Who is God in the heavens and God in the earth; and He is the Wise, the Knower. (Ⅱ)
- And He it is Who in the heaven is God, and in the earth God. He is the Wise, the Knower. (Ⅲ)
- And it is He who in heaven is God and in earth is God; He is the All-wise, the All-knowing. (Ⅳ)
- It is He Who is Allah in heaven and Allah on earth; and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge. (Ⅵ)
43. 85  
وَتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِندَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
- Watabaraka allathee lahu mulku alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma waAAindahu AAilmu alssaAAati wailayhi turjaAAoona (Ⅰ)
- And blessed is He Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him shall you be returned. (Ⅱ)
- And blessed be He unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and with Whom is knowledge of the Hour, and unto Whom ye will be returned. (Ⅲ)
- Glory be to Him, to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that between them is; with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you shall be returned. (Ⅳ)
- And blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all between them: with Him is the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment): and to Him shall ye be brought back. (Ⅵ)
43. 86  
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
- Wala yamliku allatheena yadAAoona min doonihi alshshafaAAata illa man shahida bialhaqqi wahum yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- And those whom they call upon besides Him have no power of intercession, except he who bears witness unto the Truth with sure knowledge (or they know him -i.e. Muhammad). (Ⅱ)
- And those unto whom they cry instead of Him possess no power of intercession, saving him who beareth witness unto the Truth knowingly. (Ⅲ)
- Those they call upon, apart from Him, have no power of intercession, save such as have testified to the truth, and that knowingly. (Ⅳ)
- And those whom they invoke besides Allah have no power of intercession;- only he who bears witness to the Truth, and they know (him). (Ⅵ)
43. 87  
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
- Walain saaltahum man khalaqahum layaqoolunna Allahu faanna yufakoona (Ⅰ)
- And if you should ask them who created them, they would certainly say, "Allah." Whence are they then turned away? (Ⅱ)
- And if thou ask them who created them, they will surely say: Allah. How then are they turned away ? (Ⅲ)
- If thou askest them, ´Who created you?´ they will say, ´God.´ How then are they perverted? (Ⅳ)
- If thou ask them, who created them, they will certainly say, Allah: How then are they deluded away (from the Truth)? (Ⅵ)
43. 88  
وَقِيلِهِ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ
- Waqeelihi yarabbi inna haolai qawmun la yuminoona (Ⅰ)
- Consider his (the Prophet´s) cry, "O my Lord! Surely they are a people who do not believe." (Ⅱ)
- And he saith: O my Lord! Lo! these are a folk who believe not. (Ⅲ)
- And for his saying, ´My Lord, surely these are a people who believe not´ -- (Ⅳ)
- (Allah has knowledge) of the (Prophet´s) cry, "O my Lord! Truly these are people who will not believe!" (Ⅵ)
43. 89  
فَاصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَامٌ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
- Faisfah AAanhum waqul salamun fasawfa yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- So turn away from them and say, "Peace", for they shall soon come to know. (Ⅱ)
- Then bear with them (O Muhammad) and say: Peace. But they will come to know. (Ⅲ)
- yet pardon them, and say, ´Peace!´ Soon they will know. (Ⅳ)
- But turn away from them, and say "Peace!" But soon shall they know! (Ⅵ)
