بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ)
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅳ)
- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)
45. 1  
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ حم
- Hameem (Ⅰ)
- Ha Mim. (Ⅱ)
- Ha. Mim. (Ⅲ)
- Ha Mim (Ⅳ)
- Ha-Mim. (Ⅵ)
45. 2  
تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
- Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeemi (Ⅰ)
- The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. (Ⅱ)
- The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. (Ⅲ)
- The sending down of the Book is from God, the All-mighty, the All-wise. (Ⅳ)
- The revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom. (Ⅵ)
45. 3  
إِنَّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- Inna fee alssamawati waalardi laayatin lilmumineena (Ⅰ)
- Most surely in the heavens and the earth there are signs for the believers. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! in the heavens and the earth are portents for believers. (Ⅲ)
- Surely in the heavens and earth there are signs for the believers; (Ⅳ)
- Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe. (Ⅵ)
45. 4  
وَفِي خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَابَّةٍ آيَاتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
- Wafee khalqikum wama yabuththu min dabbatin ayatun liqawmin yooqinoona (Ⅰ)
- And in your own creation and in what He spreads abroad of animals there are signs for a people that have faith; (Ⅱ)
- And in your creation, and all the beasts that He scattereth in the earth, are portents for a folk whose faith is sure. (Ⅲ)
- and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, (Ⅳ)
- And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith. (Ⅵ)
45. 5  
وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن رِّزْقٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ آيَاتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
- Waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahari wama anzala Allahu mina alssamai min rizqin faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha watasreefi alrriyahi ayatun liqawmin yaAAqiloona (Ⅰ)
- And in the variation of the night and the day, and in the sustenance Allah sends down from the clouds, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and in the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. (Ⅱ)
- And the difference of night and day and the provision that Allah sendeth down from the sky and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death, and the ordering of the winds, are portents for a people who have sense. (Ⅲ)
- and in the alternation of night and day, and the provision God sends down from heaven, and therewith revives the earth after it is dead, and the turning about of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. (Ⅳ)
- And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise. (Ⅵ)
45. 6  
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَ اللَّهِ وَآيَاتِهِ يُؤْمِنُونَ
- Tilka ayatu Allahi natlooha AAalayka bialhaqqi fabiayyi hadeethin baAAda Allahi waayatihi yuminoona (Ⅰ)
- These are the Signs of Allah which We recite to you with Truth; then in what explanations would they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? (Ⅱ)
- These are the portents of Allah which We recite unto thee (Muhammad) with truth. Then in what fact, after Allah and His portents, will they believe ? (Ⅲ)
- Those are the signs of God that We recite to thee in truth; in what manner of discourse then, after God and His signs, will they believe? (Ⅳ)
- Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? (Ⅵ)
45. 7  
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ
- Waylun likulli affakin atheemin (Ⅰ)
- Woe to every sinful dealer in falsehood, (Ⅱ)
- Woe unto each sinful liar, (Ⅲ)
- Woe to every guilty impostor (Ⅳ)
- Woe to each sinful dealer in Falsehoods: (Ⅵ)
45. 8  
يَسْمَعُ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
- YasmaAAu ayati Allahi tutla AAalayhi thumma yusirru mustakbiran kaan lam yasmaAAha fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleemin (Ⅰ)
- Who hears the Signs of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard them; so announce to him a grievous punishment. (Ⅱ)
- Who heareth the revelations of Allah recited unto him, and then continueth in pride as though he heard them not. Give him tidings of a painful doom. (Ⅲ)
- who hears the signs of God being recited to him, then perseveres in waxing proud, as if he has not heard them; so give him the good tidings of a painful chastisement. (Ⅳ)
- He hears the Signs of Allah rehearsed to him, yet is obstinate and lofty, as if he had not heard them: then announce to him a Penalty Grievous! (Ⅵ)
45. 9  
وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا شَيْئًا اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
- Waitha AAalima min ayatina shayan ittakhathaha huzuwan olaika lahum AAathabun muheenun (Ⅰ)
- And when he comes to know of any of Our revelations, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing doom. (Ⅱ)
- And when he knoweth aught of Our revelations he maketh it a jest. For such there is a shameful doom. (Ⅲ)
- And when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes them in mockery; those for them awaits a humbling chastisement. (Ⅳ)
- And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty. (Ⅵ)
45. 10  
مِّن وَرَائِهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُم مَّا كَسَبُوا شَيْئًا وَلَا مَا اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
- Min waraihim jahannamu wala yughnee AAanhum ma kasaboo shayan wala ma ittakhathoo min dooni Allahi awliyaa walahum AAathabun AAatheemun (Ⅰ)
- Before them is Hell, and there shall not avail them aught of what they earned, nor those whom they took for guardians besides Allah, and they shall have an awful doom. (Ⅱ)
- Beyond them there is hell, and that which they have earned will naught avail them, nor those whom they have chosen for protecting friends beside Allah. Theirs will be an awful doom. (Ⅲ)
- Behind them Gehenna; and that they have earned shall not avail them aught, nor those they took as protectors, apart from God; for them awaits a mighty chastisement. (Ⅳ)
- In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty. (Ⅵ)
45. 11  
هَٰذَا هُدًى ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ
- Hatha hudan waallatheena kafaroo biayati rabbihim lahum AAathabun min rijzin aleemin (Ⅰ)
- This is guidance; and as for those who disbelieve in the revelations of their Lord, they shall have a painful penalty because of their abominations. (Ⅱ)
- This is guidance. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath. (Ⅲ)
- This is guidance; and those who disbelieve in the signs of their Lord, there awaits them a painful chastisement of wrath. (Ⅳ)
- This is (true) Guidance and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination. (Ⅵ)
45. 12  
۞ اللَّهُ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
- Allahu allathee sakhkhara lakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi biamrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona (Ⅰ)
- It is Allah Who has made subservient to you the sea that the ships may run therein by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks. (Ⅱ)
- Allah it is Who hath made the sea of service unto you that the ships may run thereon by His command, and that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may be thankful; (Ⅲ)
- God is He who has subjected to you the sea, that the ships may run on it at His commandment, and that you may seek His bounty; haply so you will be thankful. (Ⅳ)
- It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, that ships may sail through it by His command, that ye may seek of his Bounty, and that ye may be grateful. (Ⅵ)
45. 13  
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
- Wasakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi jameeAAan minhu inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona (Ⅰ)
- And He has subjected to you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, all from Himself; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect. (Ⅱ)
- And hath made of service unto you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; it is all from Him. Lo! herein verily are portents for a people who reflect. (Ⅲ)
- And He has subjected to you what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, all together, from Him. Surely in that are signs for a people who reflect. (Ⅳ)
- And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect. (Ⅵ)
45. 14  
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يَغْفِرُوا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ أَيَّامَ اللَّهِ لِيَجْزِيَ قَوْمًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
- Qul lillatheena amanoo yaghfiroo lillatheena la yarjoona ayyama Allahi liyajziya qawman bima kanoo yaksiboona (Ⅰ)
- Tell those who believe that they should forgive those who fear (or hope) not the days of Allah, that He may reward a people for what they earn. (Ⅱ)
- Tell those who believe to forgive those who hope not for the days of Allah; in order that He may requite folk what they used to earn. (Ⅲ)
- Say unto those who believe, that they forgive those who do not look for the days of God, that He may recompense a people for that they have been earning. (Ⅳ)
- Tell those who believe, to forgive those who do not look forward to the Days of Allah: It is for Him to recompense (for good or ill) each People according to what they have earned. (Ⅵ)
45. 15  
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ
- Man AAamila salihan falinafsihi waman asaa faAAalayha thumma ila rabbikum turjaAAoona (Ⅰ)
- Whoever does good, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against it; then you shall be brought back to your Lord. (Ⅱ)
- Whoso doeth right, it is for his soul, and whoso doeth wrong, it is against it. And afterward unto your Lord ye will be brought back. (Ⅲ)
- Whoso does righteousness, it is to his own gain, and whoso does evil, it is to his own loss; then to your Lord you shall be returned. (Ⅳ)
- If any one does a righteous deed, it ensures to the benefit of his own soul; if he does evil, it works against (his own soul). In the end will ye (all) be brought back to your Lord. (Ⅵ)
45. 16  
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
- Walaqad atayna banee israeela alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata warazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahum AAala alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- And certainly We gave the Book and the Wisdom and the Prophecy to the children of Israel, and We gave them of the goodly things, and We made them excel over other nations. (Ⅱ)
- And verily we gave the Children of Israel the Scripture and the Command and the Prophethood, and provided them with good things and favoured them above (all) peoples; (Ⅲ)
- Indeed, We gave the Children of Israel the Book, the Judgment, and the Prophethood, and We provided them with good things, and We preferred them above all beings. (Ⅳ)
- We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations. (Ⅵ)
45. 17  
وَآتَيْنَاهُم بَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ ۖ فَمَا اخْتَلَفُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
- Waataynahum bayyinatin mina alamri fama ikhtalafoo illa min baAAdi ma jaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona (Ⅰ)
- And We gave them clear commandments in (religious) affairs, but they did not differ until after knowledge had come to them, through rivalry among themselves; surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they differ. (Ⅱ)
- And gave them plain commandments. And they differed not until after the knowledge came unto them, through rivalry among themselves. Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. (Ⅲ)
- We gave them clear signs of the Command; so they differed not, except after the knowledge had come to them, being insolent one to another. Surely thy Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection touching their differences. (Ⅳ)
- And We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences. (Ⅵ)
45. 18  
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
- Thumma jaAAalnaka AAala shareeAAatin mina alamri faittabiAAha wala tattabiAA ahwaa allatheena la yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- And now have We set you on a clear course in (religious) affairs, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who know not. (Ⅱ)
- And now have We set thee (O Muhammad) on a clear road of (Our) commandment; so follow it, and follow not the whims of those who know not. (Ⅲ)
- Then We set thee upon an open way of the Command; therefore follow it, and follow not the caprices of those who do not know. (Ⅳ)
- Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (Ⅵ)
45. 19  
إِنَّهُمْ لَن يُغْنُوا عَنكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۚ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۖ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
- Innahum lan yughnoo AAanka mina Allahi shayan wainna alththalimeena baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waAllahu waliyyu almuttaqeena (Ⅰ)
- Surely they shall not avail you in the least against Allah; and surely the unjust are friends of each other, and Allah is the guardian of those who guard (against evil). (Ⅱ)
- Lo! they can avail thee naught against Allah. And lo! as for the wrong-doers, some of them are friends of others; and Allah is the Friend of those who ward off (evil). (Ⅲ)
- Surely they will not avail thee aught against God. Surely the evildoers are friends one of the other; God is the friend of the godfearing. (Ⅳ)
- They will be of no use to thee in the sight of Allah: it is only Wrong-doers (that stand as) protectors, one to another: but Allah is the Protector of the Righteous. (Ⅵ)
45. 20  
هَٰذَا بَصَائِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
- Hatha basairu lilnnasi wahudan warahmatun liqawmin yooqinoona (Ⅰ)
- These are clear proofs for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who have sure faith. (Ⅱ)
- This is clear indication for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for a folk whose faith is sure. (Ⅲ)
- This is clear proofs for men, and a guidance, and a mercy to a people having sure faith. (Ⅳ)
- These are clear evidences to men and a Guidance and Mercy to those of assured Faith. (Ⅵ)
45. 21  
أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَاءً مَّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ ۚ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
- Am hasiba allatheena ijtarahoo alssayyiati an najAAalahum kaallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati sawaan mahyahum wamamatuhum saa ma yahkumoona (Ⅰ)
- What! Do those who have wrought evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do good - that their life and their death shall be equal? Ill is their judgment! (Ⅱ)
- Or do those who commit ill-deeds suppose that We shall make them as those who believe and do good works, the same in life and death ? Bad is their judgment! (Ⅲ)
- Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We shall make them as those who believe and do righteous deeds, equal their living and their dying? How ill they judge! (Ⅳ)
- What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make. (Ⅵ)
45. 22  
وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
- Wakhalaqa Allahu alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi walitujza kullu nafsin bima kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona (Ⅰ)
- And Allah created the heavens and the earth with Truth and that every soul may be rewarded for what it has earned and they shall not be wronged. (Ⅱ)
- And Allah hath created the heavens and the earth with truth, and that every soul may be repaid what it hath earned. And they will not be wronged. (Ⅲ)
- God created the heavens and the earth in truth, and that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned; they shall not be wronged. (Ⅳ)
- Allah created the heavens and the earth for just ends, and in order that each soul may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none of them be wronged. (Ⅵ)
45. 23  
أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِ غِشَاوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ اللَّهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
- Afaraayta mani ittakhatha ilahahu hawahu waadallahu Allahu AAala AAilmin wakhatama AAala samAAihi waqalbihi wajaAAala AAala basarihi ghishawatan faman yahdeehi min baAAdi Allahi afala tathakkaroona (Ⅰ)
- Have you then considered him who takes his vain desire for his God, and Allah has made him err purposely (or knowingly) and has set a seal upon his ear and his heart (understanding) and put a covering upon his eye. Who can then guide him after Allah? Will you not then be mindful? (Ⅱ)
- Hast thou seen him who maketh his desire his god, and Allah sendeth him astray purposely, and sealeth up his hearing and his heart, and setteth on his sight a covering ? Then who will lead him after Allah (hath condemned him) ? Will ye not then heed ? (Ⅲ)
- Hast thou seen him who has taken his caprice to be his god, and God has led him astray out of a knowledge, and set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, and laid a covering on his eyes? Who shall guide him after God? What, will you not remember? (Ⅳ)
- Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition? (Ⅵ)
45. 24  
وَقَالُوا مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَا إِلَّا الدَّهْرُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ
- Waqaloo ma hiya illa hayatuna alddunya namootu wanahya wama yuhlikuna illa alddahru wama lahum bithalika min AAilmin in hum illa yathunnoona (Ⅰ)
- And they say, "There is nothing but our life in this world; we live and die and nothing destroys us but time", and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture. (Ⅱ)
- And they say: There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time; when they have no knowledge whatsoever of (all) that; they do but guess. (Ⅲ)
- They say, ´There is nothing but our present life; we die, and we live, and nothing but Time destroys us.´ Of that they have no knowledge; they merely conjecture. (Ⅳ)
- And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture: (Ⅵ)
45. 25  
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا ائْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
- Waitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin ma kana hujjatahum illa an qaloo itoo biabaina in kuntum sadiqeena (Ⅰ)
- And when Our clear revelations are recited to them, their argument is no other than that they say, "Bring our fathers back if you are truthful." (Ⅱ)
- And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them their only argument is that they say: Bring (back) our fathers. then, if ye are truthful. (Ⅲ)
- And when Our signs are recited to them, clear signs, their only argument is that they say, ´Bring us our fathers, if you speak truly.´ (Ⅳ)
- And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them their argument is nothing but this: They say, "Bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" (Ⅵ)
45. 26  
قُلِ اللَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
- Quli Allahu yuhyeekum thumma yumeetukum thumma yajmaAAukum ila yawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- Say, "Allah gives you life, then He makes you die, then will He gather you to the Day of Resurrection wherein is no doubt", but most people know not. (Ⅱ)
- Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Allah giveth life to you, then causeth you to die, then gathereth you unto the Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. But most of mankind know not. (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´God gives you life, then makes you die, then He shall gather you to the Day of Resurrection, wherein is no doubt, but most men do not know.´ (Ⅳ)
- Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand. (Ⅵ)
45. 27  
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ الْمُبْطِلُونَ
- Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatu yawmaithin yakhsaru almubtiloona (Ⅰ)
- And Allah´s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and on the Day when the Hour shall come to pass, on that Day shall those who follow falsehoods (illusions) perish. (Ⅱ)
- And unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and on the day when the Hour riseth, on that day those who follow falsehood will be lost. (Ⅲ)
- To God belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And on the day when the Hour is come, upon that day the vain-doers shall lose. (Ⅳ)
- To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish! (Ⅵ)
45. 28  
وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً ۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدْعَىٰ إِلَىٰ كِتَابِهَا الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
- Watara kulla ommatin jathiyatan kullu ommatin tudAAa ila kitabiha alyawma tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- And you shall see every people (sect, community or nation) kneeling down; every nation shall be called to its Book (or Record, or will be judged by its scripture): this day shall you be requited for what you did. (Ⅱ)
- And thou wilt see each nation crouching, each nation summoned to its record. (And it will be said unto them): This day ye are requited what ye used to do. (Ⅲ)
- And thou shalt see every nation hobbling on their knees, every nation being summoned unto its Book: ´Today you shall be recompensed for that you were doing. (Ⅳ)
- And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did! (Ⅵ)
45. 29  
هَٰذَا كِتَابُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيْكُم بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
- Hatha kitabuna yantiqu AAalaykum bialhaqqi inna kunna nastansikhu ma kuntum taAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- This is Our book that speaks against you with truth (or justice); surely We cause to be recorded all what you do, (Ⅱ)
- This Our Book pronounceth against you with truth. Lo! We have caused (all) that ye did to be recorded. (Ⅲ)
- This is Our Book, that speaks against you the truth; We have been registering all that you were doing.´ (Ⅳ)
- "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." (Ⅵ)
45. 30  
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ
- Faamma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati fayudkhiluhum rabbuhum fee rahmatihi thalika huwa alfawzu almubeenu (Ⅰ)
- Then as to those who believed and did good, their Lord will make them enter into His mercy; that is the manifest achievement (or triumph). (Ⅱ)
- Then, as for those who believed and did good works, their Lord will bring them in unto His mercy. That is the evident triumph. (Ⅲ)
- And as for those who have believed and done deeds of righteousness, their Lord shall admit them into His mercy; that is the manifest triumph. (Ⅳ)
- Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy that will be the achievement for all to see. (Ⅵ)
45. 31  
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ
- Waamma allatheena kafaroo afalam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum faistakbartum wakuntum qawman mujrimeena (Ⅰ)
- As to those who disbelieved (it will be said,) "What! Were not Our revelations recited unto you? But you were proud and became a guilty people." (Ⅱ)
- And as for those who disbelieved (it will be said unto them): Were not Our revelations recited unto you ? But ye were scornful and became a guilty folk. (Ⅲ)
- But as for those who have disbelieved: ´Were not My signs recited to you, and you waxed proud, and were a sinful people? (Ⅳ)
- But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): "Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin! (Ⅵ)
45. 32  
وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُم مَّا نَدْرِي مَا السَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ
- Waitha qeela inna waAAda Allahi haqqun waalssaAAatu la rayba feeha qultum ma nadree ma alssaAAatu in nathunnu illa thannan wama nahnu bimustayqineena (Ⅰ)
- And when it was said, "Surely the promise of Allah is true and as for the Hour, there is no doubt about it", you said, "We do not know what the Hour is; we do not think that it will come to pass save a passing thought, and we are not convinced." (Ⅱ)
- And when it was said: Lo! Allah's promise is the truth, and there is no doubt of the Hour's coming, ye said: We know not what the Hour is. We deem it naught but a conjecture, and we are by no means convinced. (Ⅲ)
- And when it was said, "God´s promise is true, and the Hour, there is no doubt of it," you said; "We know not what the Hour may be; we have only a surmise, and are by no means certain." (Ⅳ)
- "And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, ´We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.´" (Ⅵ)
45. 33  
وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
- Wabada lahum sayyiatu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona (Ⅰ)
- And the evil consequences of what they did shall become manifest to them and that which they mocked shall encompass them. (Ⅱ)
- And the evils of what they did will appear unto them, and that which they used to deride will befall them. (Ⅲ)
- And the evil deeds that they have done shall appear to them, and they shall be encompassed by that they mocked at. (Ⅳ)
- Then will appear to them the evil (fruits) of what they did, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! (Ⅵ)
45. 34  
وَقِيلَ الْيَوْمَ نَنسَاكُمْ كَمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ
- Waqeela alyawma nansakum kama naseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha wamawakumu alnnaru wama lakum min nasireena (Ⅰ)
- And it shall be said, "Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this Day of yours and your abode is the Fire, and there are not for you any helpers: (Ⅱ)
- And it will be said: This day We forget you, even as ye forgot the meeting of this your day; and your habitation is the Fire, and there is none to help you. (Ⅲ)
- And it shall be said, ´Today We do forget you, even as you forgot the encounter of this your day; and your refuge is the Fire, and you shall have no helpers. (Ⅳ)
- It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye! (Ⅵ)
45. 35  
ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۚ فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
- Thalikum biannakumu ittakhathtum ayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatu alddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoona minha wala hum yustaAAtaboona (Ⅰ)
- That is because you took the Signs of Allah for a jest and the life of this world deceived you." So on that Day they shall not be brought forth from it, nor shall they be granted Grace. (Ⅱ)
- This, forasmuch as ye made the revelations of Allah a jest, and the life of the world beguiled you. Therefor this day they come not forth from thence, nor can they make amends. (Ⅲ)
- That is for that you took God´s signs in mockery, and the present life deluded you.´ So today they shall not be brought forth from it, nor will they be suffered to make amends. (Ⅳ)
- "This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace. (Ⅵ)
45. 36  
فَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبِّ الْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
- Falillahi alhamdu rabbi alssamawati warabbi alardi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- Therefore to Allah is due all praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of all worlds. (Ⅱ)
- Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. (Ⅲ)
- So to God belongs praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, Lord of all Being. (Ⅳ)
- Then Praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth,- Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds! (Ⅵ)
45. 37  
وَلَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
- Walahu alkibriyao fee alssamawati waalardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu (Ⅰ)
- And unto Him alone belongs Majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. (Ⅱ)
- And unto Him (alone) belongeth Majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. (Ⅲ)
- His is the Domination an the heavens and the earth; He is the All-mighty, the All-wise. (Ⅳ)
- To Him be glory throughout the heavens and the earth: and He is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom! (Ⅵ)
