بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ) - The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ) - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅲ) - Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅳ) - Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)

بِّسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
- Waaltteeni waalzzaytooni (Ⅰ) - By the Fig and the Olive! (Ⅱ) - By the fig and the olive, (Ⅲ) - By the fig and the olive (Ⅳ) - By the Fig and the Olive, (Ⅵ)

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
- Watoori seeneena (Ⅰ) - And by Mount Sinai! (Ⅱ) - By Mount Sinai, (Ⅲ) - and the Mount Sinai (Ⅳ) - And the Mount of Sinai, (Ⅵ)

95.

وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ
- Wahatha albaladi alameeni (Ⅰ) - And by this Safe City! (Ⅱ) - And by this land made safe; (Ⅲ) - and this land secure! (Ⅳ) - And this City of security,- (Ⅵ)

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
- Laqad khalaqna alinsana fee ahsani taqweemin (Ⅰ) - Surely, We have created man in the best of moulds. (Ⅱ) - Surely We created man of the best stature (Ⅲ) - We indeed created Man in the fairest stature (Ⅳ) - We have indeed created man in the best of moulds, (Ⅵ)

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ
- Thumma radadnahu asfala safileena (Ⅰ) - Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low; (Ⅱ) - Then we reduced him to the lowest of the low, (Ⅲ) - then We restored him the lowest of the low -- (Ⅳ) - Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,- (Ⅵ)

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
- Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati falahum ajrun ghayru mamnoonin (Ⅰ) - Save those who believe and act right; for theirs is a reward unfailing. (Ⅱ) - Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing. (Ⅲ) - save those who believe, and do righteous deeds; they shall have a wage unfailing. (Ⅳ) - Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. (Ⅵ)

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ
- Fama yukaththibuka baAAdu bialddeeni (Ⅰ) - But what shall make you call the judgment after this a lie? (Ⅱ) - So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment ? (Ⅲ) - What then shall cry thee lies as to the Doom? (Ⅳ) - Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)? (Ⅵ)

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ
- Alaysa Allahu biahkami alhakimeena (Ⅰ) - Is not Allah the most wise (just or conclusive) of judges? (Ⅱ) - Is not Allah the most conclusive of all judges ? (Ⅲ) - Is not God the justest of judges? (Ⅳ) - Is not Allah the wisest of judges? (Ⅵ)
