Et venerunt universæ tribus Israël ad David in Hebron, dicentes : Ecce nos os tuum et caro tua sumus.
- Toutes les tribus d'Israël vinrent auprès de David, à Hébron, et dirent: Voici, nous sommes tes os et ta chair. (Ⅱ) - Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh. (Ⅲ) - καὶ παραγίνονται πα̃σαι αἱ φυλαὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς Δαυιδ εἰς Χεβρων καὶ εἰ̃παν αὐτω̨̃ ἰδοὺ ὀστα̃ σου καὶ σάρκες σου ἡμει̃ς (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃5 ויבאו כל שבטי ישראל אל דוד חברונה ויאמרו לאמר הננו עצמך ובשרך אנחנו (Ⅴ)

Sed et heri et nudiustertius cum esset Saul rex super nos, tu eras educens et reducens Israël : dixit autem Dominus ad te : Tu pasces populum meum Israël, et tu eris dux super Israël.
- Autrefois déjà, lorsque Saül était notre roi, c'était toi qui conduisais et qui ramenais Israël. L'Éternel t'a dit: Tu paîtras mon peuple d'Israël, et tu seras le chef d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐχθὲς καὶ τρίτην ὄντος Σαουλ βασιλέως ἐφ' ἡμι̃ν σὺ ἠ̃σθα ὁ ἐξάγων καὶ εἰσάγων τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς σέ σὺ ποιμανει̃ς τὸν λαόν μου τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ σὺ ἔσει εἰς ἡγούμενον ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃5 גם אתמול גם שלשום בהיות שאול מלך עלינו אתה *הייתה **היית *מוציא **המוציא *והמבי **והמביא את ישראל ויאמר יהוה לך אתה תרעה את עמי את ישראל ואתה תהיה לנגיד על ישראל (Ⅴ)

Venerunt quoque et seniores Israël ad regem in Hebron, et percussit cum eis rex David fœdus in Hebron coram Domino : unxeruntque David in regem super Israël.
- Ainsi tous les anciens d'Israël vinrent auprès du roi à Hébron, et le roi David fit alliance avec eux à Hébron, devant l'Éternel. Ils oignirent David pour roi sur Israël. (Ⅱ) - So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔρχονται πάντες οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Ισραηλ πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα εἰς Χεβρων καὶ διέθετο αὐτοι̃ς ὁ βασιλεὺς Δαυιδ διαθήκην ἐν Χεβρων ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ χρίουσιν τὸν Δαυιδ εἰς βασιλέα ἐπὶ πάντα Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃5 ויבאו כל זקני ישראל אל המלך חברונה ויכרת להם המלך דוד ברית בחברון לפני יהוה וימשחו את דוד למלך על ישראל פ (Ⅴ)

Filius triginta annorum erat David cum regnare cœpisset, et quadraginta annis regnavit.
- David était âgé de trente ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna quarante ans. (Ⅱ) - David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. (Ⅲ) - υἱὸς τριάκοντα ἐτω̃ν Δαυιδ ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλευ̃σαι αὐτὸν καὶ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃5 בן שלשים שנה דוד במלכו ארבעים שנה מלך (Ⅴ)

In Hebron regnavit super Judam septem annis et sex mensibus : in Jerusalem autem regnavit triginta tribus annis super omnem Israël et Judam.\
- A Hébron il régna sur Juda sept ans et six mois, et à Jérusalem il régna trente-trois ans sur tout Israël et Juda. (Ⅱ) - In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah. (Ⅲ) - ἑπτὰ ἔτη καὶ ἓξ μη̃νας ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Χεβρων ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ τριάκοντα τρία ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐπὶ πάντα Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃5 בחברון מלך על יהודה שבע שנים וששה חדשים ובירושלם מלך שלשים ושלש שנה על כל ישראל ויהודה (Ⅴ)

Et abiit rex, et omnes viri qui erant cum eo, in Jerusalem, ad Jebusæum habitatorem terræ : dictumque est David ab eis : Non ingredieris huc, nisi abstuleris cæcos et claudos dicentes : Non ingredietur David huc.
- Le roi marcha avec ses gens sur Jérusalem contre les Jébusiens, habitants du pays. Ils dirent à David: Tu n'entreras point ici, car les aveugles mêmes et les boiteux te repousseront! Ce qui voulait dire: David n'entrera point ici. (Ⅱ) - And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπη̃λθεν Δαυιδ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτου̃ εἰς Ιερουσαλημ πρὸς τὸν Ιεβουσαι̃ον τὸν κατοικου̃ντα τὴν γη̃ν καὶ ἐρρέθη τω̨̃ Δαυιδ οὐκ εἰσελεύσει ὡ̃δε ὅτι ἀντέστησαν οἱ τυφλοὶ καὶ οἱ χωλοί λέγοντες ὅτι οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται Δαυιδ ὡ̃δε (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃5 וילך המלך ואנשיו ירושלם אל היבסי יושב הארץ ויאמר לדוד לאמר לא תבוא הנה כי אם הסירך העורים והפסחים לאמר לא יבוא דוד הנה (Ⅴ)

Cepit autem David arcem Sion : hæc est civitas David.
- Mais David s'empara de la forteresse de Sion: c'est la cité de David. (Ⅱ) - Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David. (Ⅲ) - καὶ κατελάβετο Δαυιδ τὴν περιοχὴν Σιων αὕτη ἡ πόλις του̃ Δαυιδ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃5 וילכד דוד את מצדת ציון היא עיר דוד (Ⅴ)

Proposuerat enim David in die illa præmium, qui percussisset Jebusæum, et tetigisset domatum fistulas, et abstulisset cæcos et claudos odientes animam David. Idcirco dicitur in proverbio : Cæcus et claudus non intrabunt in templum.
- David avait dit en ce jour: Quiconque battra les Jébusiens et atteindra le canal, quiconque frappera ces boiteux et ces aveugles qui sont les ennemis de David... -C'est pourquoi l'on dit: L'aveugle et le boiteux n'entreront point dans la maison. (Ⅱ) - And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind that are hated of David's soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ πα̃ς τύπτων Ιεβουσαι̃ον ἁπτέσθω ἐν παραξιφίδι καὶ τοὺς χωλοὺς καὶ τοὺς τυφλοὺς καὶ τοὺς μισου̃ντας τὴν ψυχὴν Δαυιδ διὰ του̃το ἐρου̃σιν τυφλοὶ καὶ χωλοὶ οὐκ εἰσελεύσονται εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃5 ויאמר דוד ביום ההוא כל מכה יבסי ויגע בצנור ואת הפסחים ואת העורים *שנאו **שנאי נפש דוד על כן יאמרו עור ופסח לא יבוא אל הבית (Ⅴ)

Habitavit autem David in arce, et vocavit eam civitatem David : et ædificavit per gyrum a Mello et intrinsecus.
- David s'établit dans la forteresse, qu'il appela cité de David. Il fit de tous côtés des constructions, en dehors et en dedans de Millo. (Ⅱ) - So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐκάθισεν Δαυιδ ἐν τη̨̃ περιοχη̨̃ καὶ ἐκλήθη αὕτη ἡ πόλις Δαυιδ καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν τὴν πόλιν κύκλω̨ ἀπὸ τη̃ς ἄκρας καὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃5 וישב דוד במצדה ויקרא לה עיר דוד ויבן דוד סביב מן המלוא וביתה (Ⅴ)

Et ingrediebatur proficiens atque succrescens, et Dominus Deus exercituum erat cum eo.
- David devenait de plus en plus grand, et l'Éternel, le Dieu des armées, était avec lui. (Ⅱ) - And David went on, and grew great, and the LORD God of hosts was with him. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπορεύετο Δαυιδ πορευόμενος καὶ μεγαλυνόμενος καὶ κύριος παντοκράτωρ μετ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃5 וילך דוד הלוך וגדול ויהוה אלהי צבאות עמו פ (Ⅴ)

Misit quoque Hiram rex Tyri nuntios ad David, et ligna cedrina, et artifices lignorum, artificesque lapidum ad parietes : et ædificaverunt domum David.
- Hiram, roi de Tyr, envoya des messagers à David, et du bois de cèdre, et des charpentiers et des tailleurs de pierres, qui bâtirent une maison pour David. (Ⅱ) - And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Χιραμ βασιλεὺς Τύρου ἀγγέλους πρὸς Δαυιδ καὶ ξύλα κέδρινα καὶ τέκτονας ξύλων καὶ τέκτονας λίθων καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησαν οἰ̃κον τω̨̃ Δαυιδ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃5 וישלח חירם מלך צר מלאכים אל דוד ועצי ארזים וחרשי עץ וחרשי אבן קיר ויבנו בית לדוד (Ⅴ)

Et cognovit David quoniam confirmasset eum Dominus regem super Israël, et quoniam exaltasset regnum ejus super populum suum Israël.
- David reconnut que l'Éternel l'affermissait comme roi d'Israël, et qu'il élevait son royaume à cause de son peuple d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel's sake. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔγνω Δαυιδ ὅτι ἡτοίμασεν αὐτὸν κύριος εἰς βασιλέα ἐπὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ὅτι ἐπήρθη ἡ βασιλεία αὐτου̃ διὰ τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃5 וידע דוד כי הכינו יהוה למלך על ישראל וכי נשא ממלכתו בעבור עמו ישראל ס (Ⅴ)

Accepit ergo David adhuc concubinas et uxores de Jerusalem, postquam venerat de Hebron : natique sunt David et alii filii et filiæ :
- David prit encore des concubines et des femmes de Jérusalem, après qu'il fut venu d'Hébron, et il lui naquit encore des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ) - And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔλαβεν Δαυιδ ἔτι γυναι̃κας καὶ παλλακὰς ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ μετὰ τὸ ἐλθει̃ν αὐτὸν ἐκ Χεβρων καὶ ἐγένοντο τω̨̃ Δαυιδ ἔτι υἱοὶ καὶ θυγατέρες (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃5 ויקח דוד עוד פלגשים ונשים מירושלם אחרי באו מחברון ויולדו עוד לדוד בנים ובנות (Ⅴ)

- Voici les noms de ceux qui lui naquirent à Jérusalem: Schammua, Schobab, Nathan, Salomon, (Ⅱ) - And these be the names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shammuah, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, (Ⅲ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ ὀνόματα τω̃ν γεννηθέντων αὐτω̨̃ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ Σαμμους καὶ Σωβαβ καὶ Ναθαν καὶ Σαλωμων (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃5 ואלה שמות הילדים לו בירושלם שמוע ושובב ונתן ושלמה (Ⅴ)

Audierunt ergo Philisthiim quod unxissent David in regem super Israël, et ascenderunt universi ut quærerent David : quod cum audisset David, descendit in præsidium.
- Les Philistins apprirent qu'on avait oint David pour roi sur Israël, et ils montèrent tous à sa recherche. David, qui en fut informé, descendit à la forteresse. (Ⅱ) - But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἤκουσαν ἀλλόφυλοι ὅτι κέχρισται Δαυιδ βασιλεὺς ἐπὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἀνέβησαν πάντες οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ζητει̃ν τὸν Δαυιδ καὶ ἤκουσεν Δαυιδ καὶ κατέβη εἰς τὴν περιοχήν (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃5 וישמעו פלשתים כי משחו את דוד למלך על ישראל ויעלו כל פלשתים לבקש את דוד וישמע דוד וירד אל המצודה (Ⅴ)

Philisthiim autem venientes diffusi sunt in valle Raphaim.
- Les Philistins arrivèrent, et se répandirent dans la vallée des Rephaïm. (Ⅱ) - The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι παραγίνονται καὶ συνέπεσαν εἰς τὴν κοιλάδα τω̃ν τιτάνων (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃5 ופלשתים באו וינטשו בעמק רפאים (Ⅴ)

Et consuluit David Dominum, dicens : Si ascendam ad Philisthiim ? et si dabis eos in manu mea ? Et dixit Dominus ad David : Ascende, quia tradens dabo Philisthiim in manu tua.
- David consulta l'Éternel, en disant: Monterai-je contre les Philistins? Les livreras-tu entre mes mains? Et l'Éternel dit à David: Monte, car je livrerai les Philistins entre tes mains. (Ⅱ) - And David inquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠρώτησεν Δαυιδ διὰ κυρίου λέγων εἰ ἀναβω̃ πρὸς τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους καὶ παραδώσεις αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χει̃ράς μου καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Δαυιδ ἀνάβαινε ὅτι παραδιδοὺς παραδώσω τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους εἰς τὰς χει̃ράς σου (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃5 וישאל דוד ביהוה לאמר האעלה אל פלשתים התתנם בידי ויאמר יהוה אל דוד עלה כי נתן אתן את הפלשתים בידך (Ⅴ)

Venit ergo David in Baal Pharasim : et percussit eos ibi, et dixit : Divisit Dominus inimicos meos coram me, sicut dividuntur aquæ. Propterea vocatum est nomen loci illius, Baal Pharasim.
- David vint à Baal Peratsim, où il les battit. Puis il dit: L'Éternel a dispersé mes ennemis devant moi, comme des eaux qui s'écoulent. C'est pourquoi l'on a donné à ce lieu le nom de Baal Peratsim. (Ⅱ) - And David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them there, and said, The LORD hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baalperazim. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠ̃λθεν Δαυιδ ἐκ τω̃ν ἐπάνω διακοπω̃ν καὶ ἔκοψεν τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους ἐκει̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ διέκοψεν κύριος τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους ἐνώπιον ἐμου̃ ὡς διακόπτεται ὕδατα διὰ του̃το ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα του̃ τόπου ἐκείνου ἐπάνω διακοπω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃5 ויבא דוד בבעל פרצים ויכם שם דוד ויאמר פרץ יהוה את איבי לפני כפרץ מים על כן קרא שם המקום ההוא בעל פרצים (Ⅴ)

Et reliquerunt ibi sculptilia sua, quæ tulit David et viri ejus.
- Ils laissèrent là leurs idoles, et David et ses gens les emportèrent. (Ⅱ) - And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ καταλιμπάνουσιν ἐκει̃ τοὺς θεοὺς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐλάβοσαν αὐτοὺς Δαυιδ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ μετ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃5 ויעזבו שם את עצביהם וישאם דוד ואנשיו פ (Ⅴ)

Et addiderunt adhuc Philisthiim ut ascenderent, et diffusi sunt in valle Raphaim.
- Les Philistins montèrent de nouveau, et se répandirent dans la vallée des Rephaïm. (Ⅱ) - And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. (Ⅲ) - καὶ προσέθεντο ἔτι ἀλλόφυλοι του̃ ἀναβη̃ναι καὶ συνέπεσαν ἐν τη̨̃ κοιλάδι τω̃ν τιτάνων (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃5 ויספו עוד פלשתים לעלות וינטשו בעמק רפאים (Ⅴ)

Consuluit autem David Dominum : Si ascendam contra Philisthæos, et tradas eos in manus meas ? Qui respondit : Non ascendas contra eos, sed gyra post tergum eorum, et venies ad eos ex adverso pyrorum.
- David consulta l'Éternel. Et l'Éternel dit: Tu ne monteras pas; tourne-les par derrière, et tu arriveras sur eux vis-à-vis des mûriers. (Ⅱ) - And when David inquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν Δαυιδ διὰ κυρίου καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος οὐκ ἀναβήσει εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτω̃ν ἀποστρέφου ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν καὶ παρέσει αὐτοι̃ς πλησίον του̃ κλαυθμω̃νος (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃5 וישאל דוד ביהוה ויאמר לא תעלה הסב אל אחריהם ובאת להם ממול בכאים (Ⅴ)

Et cum audieris sonitum gradientis in cacumine pyrorum, tunc inibis prælium : quia tunc egredietur Dominus ante faciem tuam, ut percutiat castra Philisthiim.
- Quand tu entendras un bruit de pas dans les cimes des mûriers, alors hâte-toi, car c'est l'Éternel qui marche devant toi pour battre l'armée des Philistins. (Ⅱ) - And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν τω̨̃ ἀκου̃σαί σε τὴν φωνὴν του̃ συγκλεισμου̃ του̃ ἄλσους του̃ κλαυθμω̃νος τότε καταβήσει πρὸς αὐτούς ὅτι τότε ἐξελεύσεται κύριος ἔμπροσθέν σου κόπτειν ἐν τω̨̃ πολέμω̨ τω̃ν ἀλλοφύλων (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃5 ויהי *בשמעך **כשמעך את קול צעדה בראשי הבכאים אז תחרץ כי אז יצא יהוה לפניך להכות במחנה פלשתים (Ⅴ)

Fecit itaque David sicut præceperat ei Dominus, et percussit Philisthiim de Gabaa usque dum venias Gezer.
- David fit ce que l'Éternel lui avait ordonné, et il battit les Philistins depuis Guéba jusqu'à Guézer. (Ⅱ) - And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν Δαυιδ καθὼς ἐνετείλατο αὐτω̨̃ κύριος καὶ ἐπάταξεν τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους ἀπὸ Γαβαων ἕως τη̃ς γη̃ς Γαζηρα (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃5 ויעש דוד כן כאשר צוהו יהוה ויך את פלשתים מגבע עד באך גזר פ (Ⅴ)
