In tempore autem illo consurget Michaël princeps magnus, qui stat pro filiis populi tui : et veniet tempus quale non fuit ab eo ex quo gentes esse cœperunt usque ad tempus illud. Et in tempore illo salvabitur populus tuus, omnis qui inventus fuerit scriptus in libro.
- En ce temps-là se lèvera Micaël, le grand chef, le défenseur des enfants de ton peuple; et ce sera une époque de détresse, telle qu'il n'y en a point eu de semblable depuis que les nations existent jusqu'à cette époque. En ce temps-là, ceux de ton peuple qui seront trouvés inscrits dans le livre seront sauvés. (Ⅱ) - And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ ἀναστήσεται Μιχαηλ ὁ ἄρχων ὁ μέγας ὁ ἑστηκὼς ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς του̃ λαου̃ σου καὶ ἔσται καιρὸς θλίψεως θλι̃ψις οἵα οὐ γέγονεν ἀφ' οὑ̃ γεγένηται ἔθνος ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς ἕως του̃ καιρου̃ ἐκείνου καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ σωθήσεται ὁ λαός σου πα̃ς ὁ εὑρεθεὶς γεγραμμένος ἐν τη̨̃ βίβλω̨ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃12 ובעת ההיא יעמד מיכאל השר הגדול העמד על בני עמך והיתה עת צרה אשר לא נהיתה מהיות גוי עד העת ההיא ובעת ההיא ימלט עמך כל הנמצא כתוב בספר (Ⅴ)

Et multi de his qui dormiunt in terræ pulvere evigilabunt, alii in vitam æternam, et alii in opprobrium ut videant semper.
- Plusieurs de ceux qui dorment dans la poussière de la terre se réveilleront, les uns pour la vie éternelle, et les autres pour l'opprobre, pour la honte éternelle. (Ⅱ) - And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (Ⅲ) - καὶ πολλοὶ τω̃ν καθευδόντων ἐν γη̃ς χώματι ἐξεγερθήσονται οὑ̃τοι εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον καὶ οὑ̃τοι εἰς ὀνειδισμὸν καὶ εἰς αἰσχύνην αἰώνιον (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃12 ורבים מישני אדמת עפר יקיצו אלה לחיי עולם ואלה לחרפות לדראון עולם ס (Ⅴ)

Qui autem docti fuerint, fulgebunt quasi splendor firmamenti : et qui ad justitiam erudiunt multos, quasi stellæ in perpetuas æternitates.
- Ceux qui auront été intelligents brilleront comme la splendeur du ciel, et ceux qui auront enseigné la justice, à la multitude brilleront comme les étoiles, à toujours et à perpétuité. (Ⅱ) - And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οἱ συνιέντες ἐκλάμψουσιν ὡς ἡ λαμπρότης του̃ στερεώματος καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν δικαίων τω̃ν πολλω̃ν ὡς οἱ ἀστέρες εἰς τοὺς αἰω̃νας καὶ ἔτι (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃12 והמשכלים יזהרו כזהר הרקיע ומצדיקי הרבים ככוכבים לעולם ועד פ (Ⅴ)

Tu autem Daniel, claude sermones, et signa librum usque ad tempus statutum : plurimi pertransibunt, et multiplex erit scientia.\
- Toi, Daniel, tiens secrètes ces paroles, et scelle le livre jusqu'au temps de la fin. Plusieurs alors le liront, et la connaissance augmentera. (Ⅱ) - But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (Ⅲ) - καὶ σύ Δανιηλ ἔμφραξον τοὺς λόγους καὶ σφράγισον τὸ βιβλίον ἕως καιρου̃ συντελείας ἕως διδαχθω̃σιν πολλοὶ καὶ πληθυνθη̨̃ ἡ γνω̃σις (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃12 ואתה דניאל סתם הדברים וחתם הספר עד עת קץ ישטטו רבים ותרבה הדעת (Ⅴ)

Et vidi ego Daniel, et ecce quasi duo alii stabant : unus hinc super ripam fluminis, et alius inde ex altera ripa fluminis.
- Et moi, Daniel, je regardai, et voici, deux autres hommes se tenaient debout, l'un en deçà du bord du fleuve, et l'autre au delà du bord du fleuve. (Ⅱ) - Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃δον ἐγὼ Δανιηλ καὶ ἰδοὺ δύο ἕτεροι εἱστήκεισαν εἱ̃ς ἐντευ̃θεν του̃ χείλους του̃ ποταμου̃ καὶ εἱ̃ς ἐντευ̃θεν του̃ χείλους του̃ ποταμου̃ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃12 וראיתי אני דניאל והנה שנים אחרים עמדים אחד הנה לשפת היאר ואחד הנה לשפת היאר (Ⅴ)

Et dixi viro qui erat indutus lineis, qui stabat super aquas fluminis : Usquequo finis horum mirabilium ?
- L'un d'eux dit à l'homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve: Quand sera la fin de ces prodiges? (Ⅱ) - And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν τω̨̃ ἀνδρὶ τω̨̃ ἐνδεδυμένω̨ τὰ βαδδιν ὃς ἠ̃ν ἐπάνω του̃ ὕδατος του̃ ποταμου̃ ἕως πότε τὸ πέρας ὡ̃ν εἴρηκας τω̃ν θαυμασίων (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃12 ויאמר לאיש לבוש הבדים אשר ממעל למימי היאר עד מתי קץ הפלאות (Ⅴ)

Et audivi virum qui indutus erat lineis, qui stabat super aquas fluminis, cum elevasset dexteram et sinistram suam in cælum, et jurasset per viventem in æternum, quia in tempus, et tempora, et dimidium temporis. Et cum completa fuerit dispersio manus populi sancti, complebuntur universa hæc.
- Et j'entendis l'homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve; il leva vers les cieux sa main droite et sa main gauche, et il jura par celui qui vit éternellement que ce sera dans un temps, des temps, et la moitié d'un temps, et que toutes ces choses finiront quand la force du peuple saint sera entièrement brisée. (Ⅱ) - And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἤκουσα του̃ ἀνδρὸς του̃ ἐνδεδυμένου τὰ βαδδιν ὃς ἠ̃ν ἐπάνω του̃ ὕδατος του̃ ποταμου̃ καὶ ὕψωσεν τὴν δεξιὰν αὐτου̃ καὶ τὴν ἀριστερὰν αὐτου̃ εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ὤμοσεν ἐν τω̨̃ ζω̃ντι τὸν αἰω̃να ὅτι εἰς καιρὸν καιρω̃ν καὶ ἥμισυ καιρου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ συντελεσθη̃ναι διασκορπισμὸν χειρὸς λαου̃ ἡγιασμένου γνώσονται πάντα ταυ̃τα (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃12 ואשמע את האיש לבוש הבדים אשר ממעל למימי היאר וירם ימינו ושמאלו אל השמים וישבע בחי העולם כי למועד מועדים וחצי וככלות נפץ יד עם קדש תכלינה כל אלה (Ⅴ)

Et ego audivi, et non intellexi. Et dixi : Domine mi, quid erit post hæc ?
- J'entendis, mais je ne compris pas; et je dis: Mon seigneur, quelle sera l'issue de ces choses? (Ⅱ) - And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγὼ ἤκουσα καὶ οὐ συνη̃κα καὶ εἰ̃πα κύριε τί τὰ ἔσχατα τούτων (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃12 ואני שמעתי ולא אבין ואמרה אדני מה אחרית אלה פ (Ⅴ)

Et ait : Vade, Daniel, quia clausi sunt signatique sermones usque ad præfinitum tempus.
- Il répondit: Va, Daniel, car ces paroles seront tenues secrètes et scellées jusqu'au temps de la fin. (Ⅱ) - And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν δευ̃ρο Δανιηλ ὅτι ἐμπεφραγμένοι καὶ ἐσφραγισμένοι οἱ λόγοι ἕως καιρου̃ πέρας (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃12 ויאמר לך דניאל כי סתמים וחתמים הדברים עד עת קץ (Ⅴ)

Eligentur, et dealbabuntur, et quasi ignis probabuntur multi : et impie agent impii, neque intelligent omnes impii : porro docti intelligent.
- Plusieurs seront purifiés, blanchis et épurés; les méchants feront le mal et aucun des méchants ne comprendra, mais ceux qui auront de l'intelligence comprendront. (Ⅱ) - Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. (Ⅲ) - ἐκλεγω̃σιν καὶ ἐκλευκανθω̃σιν καὶ πυρωθω̃σιν πολλοί καὶ ἀνομήσωσιν ἄνομοι καὶ οὐ συνήσουσιν πάντες ἄνομοι καὶ οἱ νοήμονες συνήσουσιν (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃12 יתבררו ויתלבנו ויצרפו רבים והרשיעו רשעים ולא יבינו כל רשעים והמשכלים יבינו (Ⅴ)

Et a tempore cum ablatum fuerit juge sacrificium, et posita fuerit abominatio in desolationem, dies mille ducenti nonaginta.
- Depuis le temps où cessera le sacrifice perpétuel, et où sera dressée l'abomination du dévastateur, il y aura mille deux cent quatre-vingt-dix jours. (Ⅱ) - And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπὸ καιρου̃ παραλλάξεως του̃ ἐνδελεχισμου̃ καὶ του̃ δοθη̃ναι βδέλυγμα ἐρημώσεως ἡμέραι χίλιαι διακόσιαι ἐνενήκοντα (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃12 ומעת הוסר התמיד ולתת שקוץ שמם ימים אלף מאתים ותשעים (Ⅴ)

Beatus qui exspectat, et pervenit usque ad dies mille trecentos triginta quinque.
- Heureux celui qui attendra, et qui arrivera jusqu'au mille trois cent trente-cinq jours! (Ⅱ) - Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (Ⅲ) - μακάριος ὁ ὑπομένων καὶ φθάσας εἰς ἡμέρας χιλίας τριακοσίας τριάκοντα πέντε (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃12 אשרי המחכה ויגיע לימים אלף שלש מאות שלשים וחמשה (Ⅴ)

Tu autem vade ad præfinitum : et requiesces, et stabis in sorte tua in finem dierum.
- Et toi, marche vers ta fin; tu te reposeras, et tu seras debout pour ton héritage à la fin des jours. (Ⅱ) - But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. (Ⅲ) - καὶ σὺ δευ̃ρο καὶ ἀναπαύου ἔτι γὰρ ἡμέραι εἰς ἀναπλήρωσιν συντελείας καὶ ἀναστήση̨ εἰς τὸν κλη̃ρόν σου εἰς συντέλειαν ἡμερω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃12 ואתה לך לקץ ותנוח ותעמד לגרלך לקץ הימין (Ⅴ)
