Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens :

- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ)

- And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃31 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 2

Ulciscere prius filios Israël de Madianitis, et sic colligeris ad populum tuum.

- Venge les enfants d'Israël sur les Madianites; tu seras ensuite recueilli auprès de ton peuple. (Ⅱ)

- Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people. (Ⅲ)

- ἐκδίκει τὴν ἐκδίκησιν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἐκ τω̃ν Μαδιανιτω̃ν καὶ ἔσχατον προστεθήση̨ πρὸς τὸν λαόν σου (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃31 נקם נקמת בני ישראל מאת המדינים אחר תאסף אל עמיך ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 3

Statimque Moyses : Armate, inquit, ex vobis viros ad pugnam, qui possint ultionem Domini expetere de Madianitis.

- Moïse parla au peuple, et dit: Équipez d'entre vous des hommes pour l'armée, et qu'ils marchent contre Madian, afin d'exécuter la vengeance de l'Éternel sur Madian. (Ⅱ)

- And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυση̃ς πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγων ἐξοπλίσατε ἐξ ὑμω̃ν ἄνδρας παρατάξασθαι ἔναντι κυρίου ἐπὶ Μαδιαν ἀποδου̃ναι ἐκδίκησιν παρὰ του̃ κυρίου τη̨̃ Μαδιαν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃31 וידבר משה אל העם לאמר החלצו מאתכם אנשים לצבא ויהיו על מדין לתת נקמת יהוה במדין ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 4

Mille viri de singulis tribubus eligantur ex Israël qui mittantur ad bellum.

- Vous enverrez à l'armée mille hommes par tribu, de toutes les tribus d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war. (Ⅲ)

- χιλίους ἐκ φυλη̃ς χιλίους ἐκ φυλη̃ς ἐκ πασω̃ν φυλω̃ν Ισραηλ ἀποστείλατε παρατάξασθαι (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃31 אלף למטה אלף למטה לכל מטות ישראל תשלחו לצבא ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 5

Dederuntque millenos de singulis tribubus, id est, duodecim millia expeditorum ad pugnam :

- On leva d'entre les milliers d'Israël mille hommes par tribu, soit douze mille hommes équipés pour l'armée. (Ⅱ)

- So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐξηρίθμησαν ἐκ τω̃ν χιλιάδων Ισραηλ χιλίους ἐκ φυλη̃ς δώδεκα χιλιάδες ἐνωπλισμένοι εἰς παράταξιν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃31 וימסרו מאלפי ישראל אלף למטה שנים עשר אלף חלוצי צבא ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 6

quos misit Moyses cum Phinees filio Eleazari sacerdotis, vasa quoque sancta, et tubas ad clangendum tradidit ei.

- Moïse envoya à l'armée ces mille hommes par tribu, et avec eux le fils du sacrificateur Éléazar, Phinées, qui portait les instruments sacrés et les trompettes retentissantes. (Ⅱ)

- And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς Μωυση̃ς χιλίους ἐκ φυλη̃ς χιλίους ἐκ φυλη̃ς σὺν δυνάμει αὐτω̃ν καὶ Φινεες υἱὸν Ελεαζαρ υἱου̃ Ααρων του̃ ἱερέως καὶ τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες τω̃ν σημασιω̃ν ἐν ται̃ς χερσὶν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃31 וישלח אתם משה אלף למטה לצבא אתם ואת פינחס בן אלעזר הכהן לצבא וכלי הקדש וחצצרות התרועה בידו ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 7

Cumque pugnassent contra Madianitas atque vicissent, omnes mares occiderunt,

- Ils s'avancèrent contre Madian, selon l'ordre que l'Éternel avait donné à Moïse; et ils tuèrent tous les mâles. (Ⅱ)

- And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ παρετάξαντο ἐπὶ Μαδιαν καθὰ ἐνετείλατο κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ καὶ ἀπέκτειναν πα̃ν ἀρσενικόν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃31 ויצבאו על מדין כאשר צוה יהוה את משה ויהרגו כל זכר ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 8

et reges eorum, Evi, et Recem, et Sur, et Hur, et Rebe, quinque principes gentis : Balaam quoque filium Beor interfecerunt gladio.

- Ils tuèrent les rois de Madian avec tous les autres, Évi, Rékem, Tsur, Hur et Réba, cinq rois de Madian; ils tuèrent aussi par l'épée Balaam, fils de Beor. (Ⅱ)

- And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ τοὺς βασιλει̃ς Μαδιαν ἀπέκτειναν ἅμα τοι̃ς τραυματίαις αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὸν Ευιν καὶ τὸν Σουρ καὶ τὸν Ροκομ καὶ τὸν Ουρ καὶ τὸν Ροβοκ πέντε βασιλει̃ς Μαδιαν καὶ τὸν Βαλααμ υἱὸν Βεωρ ἀπέκτειναν ἐν ῥομφαία̨ σὺν τοι̃ς τραυματίαις αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃31 ואת מלכי מדין הרגו על חלליהם את אוי ואת רקם ואת צור ואת חור ואת רבע חמשת מלכי מדין ואת בלעם בן בעור הרגו בחרב ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 9

Ceperuntque mulieres eorum, et parvulos, omniaque pecora, et cunctam supellectilem : quidquid habere potuerant depopulati sunt :

- Les enfants d'Israël firent prisonnières les femmes des Madianites avec leurs petits enfants, et ils pillèrent tout leur bétail, tous leurs troupeaux et toutes leurs richesses. (Ⅱ)

- And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐπρονόμευσαν τὰς γυναι̃κας Μαδιαν καὶ τὴν ἀποσκευὴν αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτω̃ν καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔγκτητα αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὴν δύναμιν αὐτω̃ν ἐπρονόμευσαν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃31 וישבו בני ישראל את נשי מדין ואת טפם ואת כל בהמתם ואת כל מקנהם ואת כל חילם בזזו ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 10

tam urbes quam viculos et castella flamma consumpsit.

- Ils incendièrent toutes les villes qu'ils habitaient et tous leurs enclos. (Ⅱ)

- And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ πάσας τὰς πόλεις αὐτω̃ν τὰς ἐν ται̃ς οἰκίαις αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰς ἐπαύλεις αὐτω̃ν ἐνέπρησαν ἐν πυρί (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃31 ואת כל עריהם במושבתם ואת כל טירתם שרפו באש ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 11

Et tulerunt prædam, et universa quæ ceperant tam ex hominibus quam ex jumentis,

- Ils prirent toutes les dépouilles et tout le butin, personnes et bestiaux; (Ⅱ)

- And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἔλαβον πα̃σαν τὴν προνομὴν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκυ̃λα αὐτω̃ν ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃31 ויקחו את כל השלל ואת כל המלקוח באדם ובבהמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 12

et adduxerunt ad Moysen, et Eleazarum sacerdotem, et ad omnem multitudinem filiorum Israël : reliqua autem utensilia portaverunt ad castra in campestribus Moab juxta Jordanem contra Jericho.\

- et ils amenèrent les captifs, le butin et les dépouilles, à Moïse, au sacrificateur Éléazar, et à l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, campés dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho. (Ⅱ)

- And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἤγαγον πρὸς Μωυση̃ν καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν καὶ τὰ σκυ̃λα καὶ τὴν προνομὴν εἰς τὴν παρεμβολὴν εἰς Αραβωθ Μωαβ ἥ ἐστιν ἐπὶ του̃ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃31 ויבאו אל משה ואל אלעזר הכהן ואל עדת בני ישראל את השבי ואת המלקוח ואת השלל אל המחנה אל ערבת מואב אשר על ירדן ירחו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 13

Egressi sunt autem Moyses et Eleazar sacerdos, et omnes principes synagogæ, in occursum eorum extra castra.

- Moïse, le sacrificateur Éléazar, et tous les princes de l'assemblée, sortirent au-devant d'eux, hors du camp. (Ⅱ)

- And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοι̃ς ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃31 ויצאו משה ואלעזר הכהן וכל נשיאי העדה לקראתם אל מחוץ למחנה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 14

Iratusque Moyses principibus exercitus, tribunis, et centurionibus qui venerant de bello,

- Et Moïse s'irrita contre les commandants de l'armée, les chefs de milliers et les chefs de centaines, qui revenaient de l'expédition. (Ⅱ)

- And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ὠργίσθη Μωυση̃ς ἐπὶ τοι̃ς ἐπισκόποις τη̃ς δυνάμεως χιλιάρχοις καὶ ἑκατοντάρχοις τοι̃ς ἐρχομένοις ἐκ τη̃ς παρατάξεως του̃ πολέμου (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃31 ויקצף משה על פקודי החיל שרי האלפים ושרי המאות הבאים מצבא המלחמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 15

ait : Cur feminas reservastis ?

- Il leur dit: Avez-vous laissé la vie à toutes les femmes? (Ⅱ)

- And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? (Ⅲ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς Μωυση̃ς ἵνα τί ἐζωγρήσατε πα̃ν θη̃λυ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃31 ויאמר אליהם משה החייתם כל נקבה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 16

nonne istæ sunt, quæ deceperunt filios Israël ad suggestionem Balaam, et prævaricari vos fecerunt in Domino super peccato Phogor, unde et percussus est populus ?

- Voici, ce sont elles qui, sur la parole de Balaam, ont entraîné les enfants d'Israël à l'infidélité envers l'Éternel, dans l'affaire de Peor; et alors éclata la plaie dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. (Ⅲ)

- αὑ̃ται γὰρ ἠ̃σαν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ κατὰ τὸ ῥη̃μα Βαλααμ του̃ ἀποστη̃σαι καὶ ὑπεριδει̃ν τὸ ῥη̃μα κυρίου ἕνεκεν Φογωρ καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ πληγὴ ἐν τη̨̃ συναγωγη̨̃ κυρίου (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃31 הן הנה היו לבני ישראל בדבר בלעם למסר מעל ביהוה על דבר פעור ותהי המגפה בעדת יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 17

ergo cunctos interficite quidquid est generis masculinis, etiam in parvulis : et mulieres, quæ noverunt viros in coitu, jugulate :

- Maintenant, tuez tout mâle parmi les petits enfants, et tuez toute femme qui a connu un homme en couchant avec lui; (Ⅱ)

- Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ νυ̃ν ἀποκτείνατε πα̃ν ἀρσενικὸν ἐν πάση̨ τη̨̃ ἀπαρτία̨ καὶ πα̃σαν γυναι̃κα ἥτις ἔγνωκεν κοίτην ἄρσενος ἀποκτείνατε (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃31 ועתה הרגו כל זכר בטף וכל אשה ידעת איש למשכב זכר הרגו ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 18

puellas autem et omnes feminas virgines reservate vobis :

- mais laissez en vie pour vous toutes les filles qui n'ont point connu la couche d'un homme. (Ⅱ)

- But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. (Ⅲ)

- πα̃σαν τὴν ἀπαρτίαν τω̃ν γυναικω̃ν ἥτις οὐκ οἰ̃δεν κοίτην ἄρσενος ζωγρήσατε αὐτάς (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃31 וכל הטף בנשים אשר לא ידעו משכב זכר החיו לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 19

et manete extra castra septem diebus. Qui occiderit hominem, vel occisum tetigerit, lustrabitur die tertio et septimo.

- Et vous, campez pendant sept jours hors du camp; tous ceux d'entre vous qui ont tué quelqu'un, et tous ceux qui ont touché un mort, se purifieront le troisième et le septième jour, eux et vos prisonniers. (Ⅱ)

- And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ὑμει̃ς παρεμβάλετε ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας πα̃ς ὁ ἀνελὼν καὶ ὁ ἁπτόμενος του̃ τετρωμένου ἁγνισθήσεται τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ τρίτη̨ καὶ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ ἑβδόμη̨ ὑμει̃ς καὶ ἡ αἰχμαλωσία ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃31 ואתם חנו מחוץ למחנה שבעת ימים כל הרג נפש וכל נגע בחלל תתחטאו ביום השלישי וביום השביעי אתם ושביכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 20

Et de omni præda, sive vestimentum fuerit, sive vas, et aliquid in utensilia præparatum, de caprarum pellibus, et pilis, et ligno, expiabitur.\

- Vous purifierez aussi tout vêtement, tout objet de peau, tout ouvrage de poil de chèvre et tout ustensile de bois. (Ⅱ)

- And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ πα̃ν περίβλημα καὶ πα̃ν σκευ̃ος δερμάτινον καὶ πα̃σαν ἐργασίαν ἐξ αἰγείας καὶ πα̃ν σκευ̃ος ξύλινον ἀφαγνιει̃τε (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃31 וכל בגד וכל כלי עור וכל מעשה עזים וכל כלי עץ תתחטאו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 21

Eleazar quoque sacerdos ad viros exercitus, qui pugnaverunt, sic locutus est : Hoc est præceptum legis, quod mandavit Dominus Moysi :

- Le sacrificateur Éléazar dit aux soldats qui étaient allés à la guerre: Voici ce qui est ordonné par la loi que l'Éternel a prescrite à Moïse. (Ⅱ)

- And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses; (Ⅲ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας τη̃ς δυνάμεως τοὺς ἐρχομένους ἐκ τη̃ς παρατάξεως του̃ πολέμου του̃το τὸ δικαίωμα του̃ νόμου ὃ συνέταξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃31 ויאמר אלעזר הכהן אל אנשי הצבא הבאים למלחמה זאת חקת התורה אשר צוה יהוה את משה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 22

aurum, et argentum, et æs, et ferrum, et plumbum, et stannum,

- L'or, l'argent, l'airain, le fer, l'étain et le plomb, (Ⅱ)

- Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead, (Ⅲ)

- πλὴν του̃ χρυσίου καὶ του̃ ἀργυρίου καὶ χαλκου̃ καὶ σιδήρου καὶ μολίβου καὶ κασσιτέρου (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃31 אך את הזהב ואת הכסף את הנחשת את הברזל את הבדיל ואת העפרת ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 23

et omne, quod potest transire per flammas, igne purgabitur : quidquid autem ignem non potest sustinere, aqua expiationis sanctificabitur :

- tout objet qui peut aller au feu, vous le ferez passer par le feu pour le rendre pur. Mais c'est par l'eau de purification que sera purifié tout ce qui ne peut aller au feu; vous le ferez passer dans l'eau. (Ⅱ)

- Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. (Ⅲ)

- πα̃ν πρα̃γμα ὃ διελεύσεται ἐν πυρί καὶ καθαρισθήσεται ἀλλ' ἢ τω̨̃ ὕδατι του̃ ἁγνισμου̃ ἁγνισθήσεται καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν μὴ διαπορεύηται διὰ πυρός διελεύσεται δι' ὕδατος (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃31 כל דבר אשר יבא באש תעבירו באש וטהר אך במי נדה יתחטא וכל אשר לא יבא באש תעבירו במים ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 24

et lavabitis vestimenta vestra die septimo, et purificati postea castra intrabitis.

- Vous laverez vos vêtements le septième jour, et vous serez purs; ensuite, vous pourrez entrer dans le camp. (Ⅱ)

- And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ πλυνει̃σθε τὰ ἱμάτια τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ ἑβδόμη̨ καὶ καθαρισθήσεσθε καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα εἰσελεύσεσθε εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃31 וכבסתם בגדיכם ביום השביעי וטהרתם ואחר תבאו אל המחנה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 25

Dixit quoque Dominus ad Moysen :

- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: (Ⅱ)

- And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃31 ויאמר יהוה אל משה לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 26

Tollite summam eorum quæ capta sunt, ab homine usque ad pecus, tu et Eleazar sacerdos et principes vulgi :

- Fais, avec le sacrificateur Éléazar et les chefs de maison de l'assemblée, le compte du butin, de ce qui a été pris, personnes et bestiaux. (Ⅱ)

- Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation: (Ⅲ)

- λαβὲ τὸ κεφάλαιον τω̃ν σκύλων τη̃ς αἰχμαλωσίας ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους σὺ καὶ Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τω̃ν πατριω̃ν τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃31 שא את ראש מלקוח השבי באדם ובבהמה אתה ואלעזר הכהן וראשי אבות העדה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 27

dividesque ex æquo prædam inter eos qui pugnaverunt egressique sunt ad bellum, et inter omnem reliquam multitudinem.

- Partage le butin entre les combattants qui sont allés à l'armée et toute l'assemblée. (Ⅱ)

- And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation: (Ⅲ)

- καὶ διελει̃τε τὰ σκυ̃λα ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν πολεμιστω̃ν τω̃ν ἐκπορευομένων εἰς τὴν παράταξιν καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πάσης συναγωγη̃ς (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃31 וחצית את המלקוח בין תפשי המלחמה היצאים לצבא ובין כל העדה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 28

Et separabis partem Domino ab his qui pugnaverunt et fuerunt in bello, unam animam de quingentis, tam ex hominibus quam ex bobus et asinis et ovibus,

- Tu prélèveras sur la portion des soldats qui sont allés à l'armée un tribut pour l'Éternel, savoir: un sur cinq cents, tant des personnes que des boeufs, des ânes et des brebis. (Ⅱ)

- And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: (Ⅲ)

- ‫ 28 ׃31 והרמת מכס ליהוה מאת אנשי המלחמה היצאים לצבא אחד נפש מחמש המאות מן האדם ומן הבקר ומן החמרים ומן הצאן ‬ (Ⅴ)

et dabis eam Eleazaro sacerdoti, quia primitiæ Domini sunt.

- Vous le prendrez sur leur moitié, et tu le donneras au sacrificateur Éléazar comme une offrande à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ του̃ ἡμίσους αὐτω̃ν λήμψεσθε καὶ δώσεις Ελεαζαρ τω̨̃ ἱερει̃ τὰς ἀπαρχὰς κυρίου (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃31 ממחציתם תקחו ונתתה לאלעזר הכהן תרומת יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 30

Ex media quoque parte filiorum Israël accipies quinquagesimum caput hominum, et boum, et asinorum, et ovium, cunctorum animantium, et dabis ea Levitis, qui excubant in custodiis tabernaculi Domini.\

- Et sur la moitié qui revient aux enfants d'Israël tu prendras un sur cinquante, tant des personnes que des boeufs, des ânes et des brebis, de tout animal; et tu le donneras aux Lévites, qui ont la garde du tabernacle de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- And of the children of Israel's half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ του̃ ἡμίσους του̃ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ λήμψη̨ ἕνα ἀπὸ τω̃ν πεντήκοντα ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἀνθρώπων καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν βοω̃ν καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν προβάτων καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὄνων καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν καὶ δώσεις αὐτὰ τοι̃ς Λευίταις τοι̃ς φυλάσσουσιν τὰς φυλακὰς ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ κυρίου (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃31 וממחצת בני ישראל תקח אחד אחז מן החמשים מן האדם מן הבקר מן החמרים ומן הצאן מכל הבהמה ונתתה אתם ללוים שמרי משמרת משכן יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

Feceruntque Moyses et Eleazar sicut præceperat Dominus.

- Moïse et le sacrificateur Éléazar firent ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse. (Ⅱ)

- And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 31 ׃31 ויעש משה ואלעזר הכהן כאשר צוה יהוה את משה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 32

Fuit autem præda, quam exercitus ceperat, ovium sexcenta septuaginta quinque millia,

- Le butin, reste du pillage de ceux qui avaient fait partie de l'armée, était de six cent soixante-quinze mille brebis, (Ⅱ)

- And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep, (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη τὸ πλεόνασμα τη̃ς προνομη̃ς ὃ ἐπρονόμευσαν οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ πολεμισταί ἀπὸ τω̃ν προβάτων ἑξακόσιαι χιλιάδες καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ πέντε χιλιάδες (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 32 ׃31 ויהי המלקוח יתר הבז אשר בזזו עם הצבא צאן שש מאות אלף ושבעים אלף וחמשת אלפים ‬ (Ⅴ)

- soixante-douze mille boeufs, (Ⅱ)

- And threescore and twelve thousand beeves, (Ⅲ)

- καὶ βόες δύο καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα χιλιάδες (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 33 ׃31 ובקר שנים ושבעים אלף ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 34

asinorum sexaginta millia et mille :

- soixante et un mille ânes, (Ⅱ)

- And threescore and one thousand asses, (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ὄνοι μία καὶ ἑξήκοντα χιλιάδες (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 34 ׃31 וחמרים אחד וששים אלף ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 35

animæ hominum sexus feminei, quæ non cognoverant viros, triginta duo millia.

- et trente-deux mille personnes ou femmes qui n'avaient point connu la couche d'un homme. - (Ⅱ)

- And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ψυχαὶ ἀνθρώπων ἀπὸ τω̃ν γυναικω̃ν αἳ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν κοίτην ἀνδρός πα̃σαι ψυχαὶ δύο καὶ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 35 ׃31 ונפש אדם מן הנשים אשר לא ידעו משכב זכר כל נפש שנים ושלשים אלף ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 36

Dataque est media pars his qui in prælio fuerant, ovium trecenta triginta septem millia quingentæ :

- La moitié, formant la part de ceux qui étaient allés à l'armée, fut de trois cent trente-sept mille cinq cents brebis, (Ⅱ)

- And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep: (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη τὸ ἡμίσευμα ἡ μερὶς τω̃ν ἐκπεπορευμένων εἰς τὸν πόλεμον ἐκ του̃ ἀριθμου̃ τω̃ν προβάτων τριακόσιαι καὶ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑπτακισχίλια καὶ πεντακόσια (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 36 ׃31 ותהי המחצה חלק היצאים בצבא מספר הצאן שלש מאות אלף ושלשים אלף ושבעת אלפים וחמש מאות ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 37

e quibus in partem Domini supputatæ sunt oves sexcentæ septuaginta quinque :

- dont six cent soixante-quinze pour le tribut à l'Éternel; (Ⅱ)

- And the LORD's tribute of the sheep was six hundred and threescore and fifteen. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐγένετο τὸ τέλος κυρίω̨ ἀπὸ τω̃ν προβάτων ἑξακόσια ἑβδομήκοντα πέντε (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 37 ׃31 ויהי המכס ליהוה מן הצאן שש מאות חמש ושבעים ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 38

et de bobus triginta sex millibus, boves septuaginta et duo :

- trente-six mille boeufs, dont soixante-douze pour le tribut à l'Éternel; (Ⅱ)

- And the beeves were thirty and six thousand; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and twelve. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ βόες ἓξ καὶ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τὸ τέλος κυρίω̨ δύο καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 38 ׃31 והבקר ששה ושלשים אלף ומכסם ליהוה שנים ושבעים ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 39

de asinis triginta millibus quingentis, asini sexaginta unus :

- trente mille cinq cents ânes, dont soixante et un pour le tribut à l'Éternel; (Ⅱ)

- And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and one. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ὄνοι τριάκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ πεντακόσιοι καὶ τὸ τέλος κυρίω̨ εἱ̃ς καὶ ἑξήκοντα (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 39 ׃31 וחמרים שלשים אלף וחמש מאות ומכסם ליהוה אחד וששים ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 40

de animabus hominum sedecim millibus, cesserunt in partem Domini triginta duæ animæ.

- et seize mille personnes, dont trente-deux pour le tribut à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- And the persons were sixteen thousand; of which the LORD's tribute was thirty and two persons. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ψυχαὶ ἀνθρώπων ἑκκαίδεκα χιλιάδες καὶ τὸ τέλος αὐτω̃ν κυρίω̨ δύο καὶ τριάκοντα ψυχαί (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 40 ׃31 ונפש אדם ששה עשר אלף ומכסם ליהוה שנים ושלשים נפש ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 41

Tradiditque Moyses numerum primitiarum Domini Eleazaro sacerdoti, sicut fuerat ei imperatum,

- Moïse donna au sacrificateur Éléazar le tribut réservé comme offrande à l'Éternel, selon ce que l'Éternel lui avait ordonné. - (Ⅱ)

- And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD's heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἔδωκεν Μωυση̃ς τὸ τέλος κυρίω̨ τὸ ἀφαίρεμα του̃ θεου̃ Ελεαζαρ τω̨̃ ἱερει̃ καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 41 ׃31 ויתן משה את מכס תרומת יהוה לאלעזר הכהן כאשר צוה יהוה את משה ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 42

ex media parte filiorum Israël, quam separaverat his qui in prælio fuerant.

- La moitié qui revenait aux enfants d'Israël, séparée par Moïse de celle des hommes de l'armée, (Ⅱ)

- And of the children of Israel's half, which Moses divided from the men that warred, (Ⅲ)

- ἀπὸ του̃ ἡμισεύματος τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ οὓς διει̃λεν Μωυση̃ς ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἀνδρω̃ν τω̃ν πολεμιστω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 42 ׃31 וממחצית בני ישראל אשר חצה משה מן האנשים הצבאים ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 43

De media vero parte, quæ contigerat reliquæ multitudini, id est, de ovibus trecentis triginta septem millibus quingentis,

- et formant la part de l'assemblée, fut de trois cent trente-sept mille cinq cents brebis, (Ⅱ)

- (Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep, (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐγένετο τὸ ἡμίσευμα τὸ τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς ἀπὸ τω̃ν προβάτων τριακόσιαι χιλιάδες καὶ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑπτακισχίλια καὶ πεντακόσια (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 43 ׃31 ותהי מחצת העדה מן הצאן שלש מאות אלף ושלשים אלף שבעת אלפים וחמש מאות ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 48

Cumque accessissent principes exercitus ad Moysen, et tribuni, centurionesque, dixerunt :

- Les commandants des milliers de l'armée, les chefs de milliers et les chefs de centaines, s'approchèrent de Moïse, (Ⅱ)

- And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses: (Ⅲ)

- καὶ προση̃λθον πρὸς Μωυση̃ν πάντες οἱ καθεσταμένοι εἰς τὰς χιλιαρχίας τη̃ς δυνάμεως χιλίαρχοι καὶ ἑκατόνταρχοι (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 48 ׃31 ויקרבו אל משה הפקדים אשר לאלפי הצבא שרי האלפים ושרי המאות ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 49

Nos servi tui recensuimus numerum pugnatorum, quos habuimus sub manu nostra : et ne unus quidem defuit.

- et lui dirent: Tes serviteurs ont fait le compte des soldats qui étaient sous nos ordres, et il ne manque pas un homme d'entre nous. (Ⅱ)

- And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ εἰ̃παν πρὸς Μωυση̃ν οἱ παι̃δές σου εἰλήφασιν τὸ κεφάλαιον τω̃ν ἀνδρω̃ν τω̃ν πολεμιστω̃ν τω̃ν παρ' ἡμω̃ν καὶ οὐ διαπεφώνηκεν ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν οὐδὲ εἱ̃ς (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 49 ׃31 ויאמרו אל משה עבדיך נשאו את ראש אנשי המלחמה אשר בידנו ולא נפקד ממנו איש ‬ (Ⅴ)

31. 50

Ob hanc causam offerimus in donariis Domini singuli quod in præda auri potuimus invenire, periscelides et armillas, annulos et dextralia, ac murænulas, ut depreceris pro nobis Dominum.

- Nous apportons, comme offrande à l'Éternel, chacun les objets d'or que nous avons trouvés, chaînettes, bracelets, anneaux, pendants d'oreilles, et colliers, afin de faire pour nos personnes l'expiation devant l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ προσενηνόχαμεν τὸ δω̃ρον κυρίω̨ ἀνὴρ ὃ εὑ̃ρεν σκευ̃ος χρυσου̃ν χλιδω̃να καὶ ψέλιον καὶ δακτύλιον καὶ περιδέξιον καὶ ἐμπλόκιον ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ ἡμω̃ν ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 50 ׃31 ונקרב את קרבן יהוה איש אשר מצא כלי זהב אצעדה וצמיד טבעת עגיל וכומז לכפר על נפשתינו לפני יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
