Cum introduxerit te Dominus Deus tuus in terram, quam possessurus ingredieris, et deleverit gentes multas coram te, Hethæum, et Gergezæum, et Amorrhæum, Chananæum, et Pherezæum, et Hevæum, et Jebusæum, septem gentes multo majoris numeri quam tu es, et robustiores te :
- Lorsque l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'aura fait entrer dans le pays dont tu vas prendre possession, et qu'il chassera devant toi beaucoup de nations, les Héthiens, les Guirgasiens, les Amoréens, les Cananéens, les Phéréziens, les Héviens et les Jébusiens, sept nations plus nombreuses et plus puissantes que toi; (Ⅱ) - When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; (Ⅲ) - ἐὰν δὲ εἰσαγάγη̨ σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὴν γη̃ν εἰς ἣν εἰσπορεύη̨ ἐκει̃ κληρονομη̃σαι καὶ ἐξαρει̃ ἔθνη μεγάλα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου τὸν Χετται̃ον καὶ Γεργεσαι̃ον καὶ Αμορραι̃ον καὶ Χαναναι̃ον καὶ Φερεζαι̃ον καὶ Ευαι̃ον καὶ Ιεβουσαι̃ον ἑπτὰ ἔθνη πολλὰ καὶ ἰσχυρότερα ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃7 כי יביאך יהוה אלהיך אל הארץ אשר אתה בא שמה לרשתה ונשל גוים רבים מפניך החתי והגרגשי והאמרי והכנעני והפרזי והחוי והיבוסי שבעה גוים רבים ועצומים ממך (Ⅴ)

tradideritque eas Dominus Deus tuus tibi, percuties eas usque ad internecionem. Non inibis cum eis fœdus, nec misereberis earum,
- lorsque l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te les aura livrées et que tu les auras battues, tu les dévoueras par interdit, tu ne traiteras point d'alliance avec elles, et tu ne leur feras point grâce. (Ⅱ) - And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them: (Ⅲ) - καὶ παραδώσει αὐτοὺς κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὰς χει̃ράς σου καὶ πατάξεις αὐτούς ἀφανισμω̨̃ ἀφανιει̃ς αὐτούς οὐ διαθήση̨ πρὸς αὐτοὺς διαθήκην οὐδὲ μὴ ἐλεήσητε αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃7 ונתנם יהוה אלהיך לפניך והכיתם החרם תחרים אתם לא תכרת להם ברית ולא תחנם (Ⅴ)

neque sociabis cum eis conjugia. Filiam tuam non dabis filio ejus, nec filiam illius accipies filio tuo :
- Tu ne contracteras point de mariage avec ces peuples, tu ne donneras point tes filles à leurs fils, et tu ne prendras point leurs filles pour tes fils; (Ⅱ) - Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. (Ⅲ) - οὐδὲ μὴ γαμβρεύσητε πρὸς αὐτούς τὴν θυγατέρα σου οὐ δώσεις τω̨̃ υἱω̨̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτου̃ οὐ λήμψη̨ τω̨̃ υἱω̨̃ σου (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃7 ולא תתחתן בם בתך לא תתן לבנו ובתו לא תקח לבנך (Ⅴ)

quia seducet filium tuum, ne sequatur me, et ut magis serviat diis alienis : irasceturque furor Domini, et delebit te cito.
- car ils détournaient de moi tes fils, qui serviraient d'autres dieux, et la colère de l'Éternel s'enflammerait contre vous: il te détruirait promptement. (Ⅱ) - For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. (Ⅲ) - ἀποστήσει γὰρ τὸν υἱόν σου ἀπ' ἐμου̃ καὶ λατρεύσει θεοι̃ς ἑτέροις καὶ ὀργισθήσεται θυμω̨̃ κύριος εἰς ὑμα̃ς καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσει σε τὸ τάχος (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃7 כי יסיר את בנך מאחרי ועבדו אלהים אחרים וחרה אף יהוה בכם והשמידך מהר (Ⅴ)

Quin potius hæc facietis eis : aras eorum subvertite, et confringite statuas, lucosque succidite, et sculptilia comburite :
- Voici, au contraire, comment vous agirez à leur égard: vous renverserez leurs autels, vous briserez leurs statues, vous abattrez leurs idoles, et vous brûlerez au feu leurs images taillées. (Ⅱ) - But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. (Ⅲ) - ἀλλ' οὕτως ποιήσετε αὐτοι̃ς τοὺς βωμοὺς αὐτω̃ν καθελει̃τε καὶ τὰς στήλας αὐτω̃ν συντρίψετε καὶ τὰ ἄλση αὐτω̃ν ἐκκόψετε καὶ τὰ γλυπτὰ τω̃ν θεω̃ν αὐτω̃ν κατακαύσετε πυρί (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃7 כי אם כה תעשו להם מזבחתיהם תתצו ומצבתם תשברו ואשירהם תגדעון ופסיליהם תשרפון באש (Ⅴ)

quia populus sanctus es Domino Deo tuo.\ Te elegit Dominus Deus tuus, ut sis ei populus peculiaris de cunctis populis, qui sunt super terram.
- Car tu es un peuple saint pour l'Éternel, ton Dieu; l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a choisi, pour que tu fusse un peuple qui lui appartînt entre tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre. (Ⅱ) - For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος εἰ̃ κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σου καὶ σὲ προείλατο κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰ̃ναί σε αὐτω̨̃ λαὸν περιούσιον παρὰ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ὅσα ἐπὶ προσώπου τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃7 כי עם קדוש אתה ליהוה אלהיך בך בחר יהוה אלהיך להיות לו לעם סגלה מכל העמים אשר על פני האדמה ס (Ⅴ)

Non quia cunctas gentes numero vincebatis, vobis junctus est Dominus, et elegit vos, cum omnibus sitis populis pauciores :
- Ce n'est point parce que vous surpassez en nombre tous les peuples, que l'Éternel s'est attaché à vous et qu'il vous a choisis, car vous êtes le moindre de tous les peuples. (Ⅱ) - The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: (Ⅲ) - οὐχ ὅτι πολυπληθει̃τε παρὰ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη προείλατο κύριος ὑμα̃ς καὶ ἐξελέξατο ὑμα̃ς ὑμει̃ς γάρ ἐστε ὀλιγοστοὶ παρὰ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃7 לא מרבכם מכל העמים חשק יהוה בכם ויבחר בכם כי אתם המעט מכל העמים (Ⅴ)

sed quia dilexit vos Dominus, et custodivit juramentum, quod juravit patribus vestris : eduxitque vos in manu forti, et redemit de domo servitutis, de manu Pharaonis regis Ægypti.
- Mais, parce que l'Éternel vous aime, parce qu'il a voulu tenir le serment qu'il avait fait à vos pères, l'Éternel vous a fait sortir par sa main puissante, vous a délivrés de la maison de servitude, de la main de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte. (Ⅱ) - But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. (Ⅲ) - ἀλλὰ παρὰ τὸ ἀγαπα̃ν κύριον ὑμα̃ς καὶ διατηρω̃ν τὸν ὅρκον ὃν ὤμοσεν τοι̃ς πατράσιν ὑμω̃ν ἐξήγαγεν κύριος ὑμα̃ς ἐν χειρὶ κραταια̨̃ καὶ ἐν βραχίονι ὑψηλω̨̃ καὶ ἐλυτρώσατο ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας ἐκ χειρὸς Φαραω βασιλέως Αἰγύπτου (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃7 כי מאהבת יהוה אתכם ומשמרו[P][p][v] את השבעה אשר נשבע לאבתיכם הוציא יהוה אתכם ביד חזקה ויפדך מבית עבדים מיד פרעה מלך מצרים (Ⅴ)

Et scies, quia Dominus Deus tuus, ipse est Deus fortis et fidelis, custodiens pactum et misericordiam diligentibus se, et his qui custodiunt præcepta ejus in mille generationes :
- Sache donc que c'est l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui est Dieu. Ce Dieu fidèle garde son alliance et sa miséricorde jusqu'à la millième génération envers ceux qui l'aiment et qui observent ses commandements. (Ⅱ) - Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; (Ⅲ) - καὶ γνώση̨ ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου οὑ̃τος θεός θεὸς πιστός ὁ φυλάσσων διαθήκην καὶ ἔλεος τοι̃ς ἀγαπω̃σιν αὐτὸν καὶ τοι̃ς φυλάσσουσιν τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτου̃ εἰς χιλίας γενεὰς (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃7 וידעת כי יהוה אלהיך הוא האלהים האל הנאמן שמר הברית והחסד לאהביו ולשמרי *מצותו **מצותיו לאלף דור (Ⅴ)

et reddens odientibus se statim, ita ut disperdat eos, et ultra non differat, protinus eis restituens quod merentur.
- Mais il use directement de représailles envers ceux qui le haïssent, et il les fait périr; il ne diffère point envers celui qui le hait, il use directement de représailles. (Ⅱ) - And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀποδιδοὺς τοι̃ς μισου̃σιν κατὰ πρόσωπον ἐξολεθρευ̃σαι αὐτούς καὶ οὐχὶ βραδυνει̃ τοι̃ς μισου̃σιν κατὰ πρόσωπον ἀποδώσει αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃7 ומשלם לשנאיו אל פניו להאבידו לא יאחר לשנאו אל פניו ישלם לו (Ⅴ)

Custodi ergo præcepta et cæremonias atque judicia, quæ ego mando tibi hodie ut facias.\
- Ainsi, observe les commandements, les lois et les ordonnances que je te prescris aujourd'hui, et mets-les en pratique. (Ⅱ) - Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ φυλάξη̨ τὰς ἐντολὰς καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ταυ̃τα ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον ποιει̃ν (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃7 ושמרת את המצוה ואת החקים ואת המשפטים אשר אנכי מצוך היום לעשותם פ (Ⅴ)

Si postquam audieris hæc judicia, custodieris ea, et feceris, custodiet et Dominus Deus tuus pactum tibi, et misericordiam quam juravit patribus tuis :
- Si vous écoutez ces ordonnances, si vous les observez et les mettez en pratique, l'Éternel, ton Dieu, gardera envers toi l'alliance et la miséricorde qu'il a jurées à tes pères. (Ⅱ) - Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἡνίκα ἂν ἀκούσητε πάντα τὰ δικαιώματα ταυ̃τα καὶ φυλάξητε καὶ ποιήσητε αὐτά καὶ διαφυλάξει κύριος ὁ θεός σού σοι τὴν διαθήκην καὶ τὸ ἔλεος ὃ ὤμοσεν τοι̃ς πατράσιν ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃7 והיה עקב תשמעון את המשפטים האלה ושמרתם ועשיתם אתם ושמר יהוה אלהיך לך את הברית ואת החסד אשר נשבע לאבתיך (Ⅴ)

et diliget te, ac multiplicabit, benedicetque fructui ventris tui, et fructui terræ tuæ, frumento tuo, atque vindemiæ, oleo, et armentis, gregibus ovium tuarum super terram, pro qua juravit patribus tuis ut daret eam tibi.
- Il t'aimera, il te bénira et te multipliera; il bénira le fruit de tes entrailles et le fruit de ton sol, ton blé, ton moût et ton huile, les portées de ton gros et de ton menu bétail, dans le pays qu'il a juré à tes pères de te donner. (Ⅱ) - And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀγαπήσει σε καὶ εὐλογήσει σε καὶ πληθυνει̃ σε καὶ εὐλογήσει τὰ ἔκγονα τη̃ς κοιλίας σου καὶ τὸν καρπὸν τη̃ς γη̃ς σου τὸν σι̃τόν σου καὶ τὸν οἰ̃νόν σου καὶ τὸ ἔλαιόν σου τὰ βουκόλια τω̃ν βοω̃ν σου καὶ τὰ ποίμνια τω̃ν προβάτων σου ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς ἡ̃ς ὤμοσεν κύριος τοι̃ς πατράσιν σου δου̃ναί σοι (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃7 ואהבך וברכך והרבך וברך פרי בטנך ופרי אדמתך דגנך ותירשך ויצהרך שגר אלפיך ועשתרת צאנך על האדמה אשר נשבע לאבתיך לתת לך (Ⅴ)

Benedictus eris inter omnes populos. Non erit apud te sterilis utriusque sexus, tam in hominibus quam in gregibus tuis.
- Tu seras béni plus que tous les peuples; il n'y aura chez toi ni homme ni femme stérile, ni bête stérile parmi tes troupeaux. (Ⅱ) - Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. (Ⅲ) - εὐλογητὸς ἔση̨ παρὰ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη οὐκ ἔσται ἐν ὑμι̃ν ἄγονος οὐδὲ στει̃ρα καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς κτήνεσίν σου (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃7 ברוך תהיה מכל העמים לא יהיה בך עקר ועקרה ובבהמתך (Ⅴ)

Auferet Dominus a te omnem languorem : et infirmitates Ægypti pessimas, quas novisti, non inferet tibi, sed cunctis hostibus tuis.
- L'Éternel éloignera de toi toute maladie; il ne t'enverra aucune de ces mauvaises maladies d'Égypte qui te sont connues, mais il en frappera tous ceux qui te haïssent. (Ⅱ) - And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. (Ⅲ) - καὶ περιελει̃ κύριος ἀπὸ σου̃ πα̃σαν μαλακίαν καὶ πάσας νόσους Αἰγύπτου τὰς πονηράς ἃς ἑώρακας καὶ ὅσα ἔγνως οὐκ ἐπιθήσει ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐπιθήσει αὐτὰ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς μισου̃ντάς σε (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃7 והסיר יהוה ממך כל חלי וכל מדוי מצרים הרעים אשר ידעת לא ישימם בך ונתנם בכל שנאיך (Ⅴ)

Devorabis omnes populos, quos Dominus Deus tuus daturus est tibi. Non parcet eis oculus tuus, nec servies diis eorum, ne sint in ruinam tui.\
- Tu dévoreras tous les peuples que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, va te livrer, tu ne jetteras pas sur eux un regard de pitié, et tu ne serviras point leurs dieux, car ce serait un piège pour toi. (Ⅱ) - And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee. (Ⅲ) - καὶ φάγη̨ πάντα τὰ σκυ̃λα τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν ἃ κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι οὐ φείσεται ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἐπ' αὐτοι̃ς καὶ οὐ λατρεύσεις τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς αὐτω̃ν ὅτι σκω̃λον του̃τό ἐστίν σοι (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃7 ואכלת את כל העמים אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא תחס עינך עליהם ולא תעבד את אלהיהם כי מוקש הוא לך ס (Ⅴ)

Si dixeris in corde tuo : Plures sunt gentes istæ quam ego : quomodo potero delere eas ?
- Peut-être diras-tu dans ton coeur: Ces nations sont plus nombreuses que moi; comment pourrai-je les chasser? (Ⅱ) - If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them? (Ⅲ) - ἐὰν δὲ λέγη̨ς ἐν τη̨̃ διανοία̨ σου ὅτι πολὺ τὸ ἔθνος του̃το ἢ ἐγώ πω̃ς δυνήσομαι ἐξολεθρευ̃σαι αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃7 כי תאמר בלבבך רבים הגוים האלה ממני איכה אוכל להורישם (Ⅴ)

noli metuere, sed recordare quæ fecerit Dominus Deus tuus Pharaoni, et cunctis Ægyptiis,
- Ne les crains point. Rappelle à ton souvenir ce que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a fait à Pharaon et à toute l'Égypte, (Ⅱ) - Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; (Ⅲ) - οὐ φοβηθήση̨ αὐτούς μνεία̨ μνησθήση̨ ὅσα ἐποίησεν κύριος ὁ θεός σου τω̨̃ Φαραω καὶ πα̃σι τοι̃ς Αἰγυπτίοις (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃7 לא תירא מהם זכר תזכר את אשר עשה יהוה אלהיך לפרעה ולכל מצרים (Ⅴ)

plagas maximas, quas viderunt oculi tui, et signa atque portenta, manumque robustam, et extentum brachium, ut educeret te Dominus Deus tuus : sic faciet cunctis populis, quos metuis.
- les grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues, les miracles et les prodiges, la main forte et le bras étendu, quand l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a fait sortir: ainsi fera l'Éternel, ton Dieu, à tous les peuples que tu redoutes. (Ⅱ) - The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid. (Ⅲ) - τοὺς πειρασμοὺς τοὺς μεγάλους οὓς εἴδοσαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου τὰ σημει̃α καὶ τὰ τέρατα τὰ μεγάλα ἐκει̃να τὴν χει̃ρα τὴν κραταιὰν καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τὸν ὑψηλόν ὡς ἐξήγαγέν σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου οὕτως ποιήσει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμω̃ν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν οὓς σὺ φοβη̨̃ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃7 המסת הגדלת אשר ראו עיניך והאתת והמפתים והיד החזקה והזרע הנטויה אשר הוצאך יהוה אלהיך כן יעשה יהוה אלהיך לכל העמים אשר אתה ירא מפניהם (Ⅴ)

Insuper et crabrones mittet Dominus Deus tuus in eos, donec deleat omnes atque disperdat qui te fugerint, et latere potuerint.
- L'Éternel, ton Dieu, enverra même les frelons contre eux, jusqu'à la destruction de ceux qui échapperont et qui se cacheront devant toi. (Ⅱ) - Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὰς σφηκίας ἀποστελει̃ κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς αὐτούς ἕως ἂν ἐκτριβω̃σιν οἱ καταλελειμμένοι καὶ οἱ κεκρυμμένοι ἀπὸ σου̃ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃7 וגם את הצרעה ישלח יהוה אלהיך בם עד אבד הנשארים והנסתרים מפניך (Ⅴ)

Non timebis eos, quia Dominus Deus tuus in medio tui est, Deus magnus et terribilis :
- Ne sois point effrayé à cause d'eux; car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, est au milieu de toi, le Dieu grand et terrible. (Ⅱ) - Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible. (Ⅲ) - οὐ τρωθήση̨ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν σοί θεὸς μέγας καὶ κραταιός (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃7 לא תערץ מפניהם כי יהוה אלהיך בקרבך אל גדול ונורא (Ⅴ)

ipse consumet nationes has in conspectu tuo paulatim atque per partes. Non poteris eas delere pariter : ne forte multiplicentur contra te bestiæ terræ.
- L'Éternel, ton Dieu, chassera peu à peu ces nations loin de ta face; tu ne pourras pas les exterminer promptement, de peur que les bêtes des champs ne se multiplient contre toi. (Ⅱ) - And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee. (Ⅲ) - καὶ καταναλώσει κύριος ὁ θεός σου τὰ ἔθνη ταυ̃τα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου κατὰ μικρὸν μικρόν οὐ δυνήση̨ ἐξαναλω̃σαι αὐτοὺς τὸ τάχος ἵνα μὴ γένηται ἡ γη̃ ἔρημος καὶ πληθυνθη̨̃ ἐπὶ σὲ τὰ θηρία τὰ ἄγρια (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃7 ונשל יהוה אלהיך את הגוים האל מפניך מעט מעט לא תוכל כלתם מהר פן תרבה עליך חית השדה (Ⅴ)

Dabitque eos Dominus Deus tuus in conspectu tuo : et interficiet illos, donec penitus deleantur.
- L'Éternel, ton Dieu, te les livrera; et il les mettra complètement en déroute, jusqu'à ce qu'elles soient détruites. (Ⅱ) - But the LORD thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed. (Ⅲ) - καὶ παραδώσει αὐτοὺς κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὰς χει̃ράς σου καὶ ἀπολέσει αὐτοὺς ἀπωλεία̨ μεγάλη̨ ἕως ἂν ἐξολεθρεύση̨ αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃7 ונתנם יהוה אלהיך לפניך והמם מהומה גדלה עד השמדם (Ⅴ)

Tradetque reges eorum in manus tuas, et disperdes nomina eorum sub cælo : nullus poterit resistere tibi, donec conteras eos.
- Il livrera leurs rois entre tes mains, et tu feras disparaître leurs noms de dessous les cieux; aucun ne tiendra contre toi, jusqu'à ce que tu les aies détruits. (Ⅱ) - And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ παραδώσει τοὺς βασιλει̃ς αὐτω̃ν εἰς τὰς χει̃ρας ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἀπολει̃ται τὸ ὄνομα αὐτω̃ν ἐκ του̃ τόπου ἐκείνου οὐκ ἀντιστήσεται οὐδεὶς κατὰ πρόσωπόν σου ἕως ἂν ἐξολεθρεύση̨ς αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃7 ונתן מלכיהם בידך והאבדת את שמם מתחת השמים לא יתיצב איש בפניך עד השמדך אתם (Ⅴ)

Sculptilia eorum igne combures : non concupisces argentum et aurum, de quibus facta sunt, neque assumes ex eis tibi quidquam, ne offendas, propterea quia abominatio est Domini tui :
- Vous brûlerez au feu les images taillées de leurs dieux. Tu ne convoiteras point et tu ne prendras point pour toi l'argent et l'or qui sont sur elles, de peur que ces choses ne te deviennent un piège; car elles sont en abomination à l'Éternel, ton Dieu. (Ⅱ) - The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. (Ⅲ) - τὰ γλυπτὰ τω̃ν θεω̃ν αὐτω̃ν κατακαύσετε πυρί οὐκ ἐπιθυμήσεις ἀργύριον οὐδὲ χρυσίον ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν καὶ οὐ λήμψη̨ σεαυτω̨̃ μὴ πταίση̨ς δι' αὐτό ὅτι βδέλυγμα κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σού ἐστιν (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃7 פסילי אלהיהם תשרפון באש לא תחמד כסף וזהב עליהם ולקחת לך פן תוקש בו כי תועבת יהוה אלהיך הוא (Ⅴ)

nec inferes quippiam ex idolo in domum tuam, ne fias anathema, sicut et illud est. Quasi spurcitiam detestaberis, et velut inquinamentum ac sordes abominationi habebis, quia anathema est.
- Tu n'introduiras point une chose abominable dans ta maison, afin que tu ne sois pas, comme cet chose, dévoué par interdit; tu l'auras en horreur, tu l'auras en abomination,, car c'est une chose dévouée par interdit. (Ⅱ) - Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οὐκ εἰσοίσεις βδέλυγμα εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κόν σου καὶ ἔση̨ ἀνάθημα ὥσπερ του̃το προσοχθίσματι προσοχθιει̃ς καὶ βδελύγματι βδελύξη̨ ὅτι ἀνάθημά ἐστιν (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃7 ולא תביא תועבה אל ביתך והיית חרם כמהו שקץ תשקצנו ותעב תתעבנו כי חרם הוא פ (Ⅴ)
