2. 1

καὶ ἀνέβη ἄγγελος κυρίου ἀπὸ Γαλγαλ ἐπὶ τὸν Κλαυθμω̃να καὶ ἐπὶ Βαιθηλ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον Ισραηλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνεβίβασα ὑμα̃ς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ εἰσήγαγον ὑμα̃ς εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἣν ὤμοσα τοι̃ς πατράσιν ὑμω̃ν καὶ εἰ̃πα οὐ διασκεδάσω τὴν διαθήκην μου τὴν μεθ' ὑμω̃ν εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να

- Un envoyé de l'Éternel monta de Guilgal à Bokim, et dit: Je vous ai fait monter hors d'Égypte, et je vous ai amenés dans le pays que j'ai juré à vos pères de vous donner. J'ai dit: Jamais je ne romprai mon alliance avec vous; (Ⅱ)

- And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. (Ⅲ)

- Ascenditque angelus Domini de Galgalis ad Locum flentium, et ait : Eduxi vos de Ægypto, et introduxi in terram, pro qua juravi patribus vestris : et pollicitus sum ut non facerem irritum pactum meum vobiscum in sempiternum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃2 ויעל מלאך יהוה מן הגלגל אל הבכים פויאמר אעלה אתכם ממצרים ואביא אתכם אל הארץ אשר נשבעתי לאבתיכם ואמר לא אפר בריתי אתכם לעולם ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ὑμει̃ς οὐ διαθήσεσθε διαθήκην τοι̃ς ἐγκαθημένοις εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ταύτην οὐδὲ τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς αὐτω̃ν προσκυνήσετε ἀλλὰ τὰ γλυπτὰ αὐτω̃ν συντρίψετε καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια αὐτω̃ν καθελει̃τε καὶ οὐκ εἰσηκούσατε τη̃ς φωνη̃ς μου ὅτι ταυ̃τα ἐποιήσατε

- et vous, vous ne traiterez point alliance avec les habitants de ce pays, vous renverserez leurs autels. Mais vous n'avez point obéi à ma voix. Pourquoi avez-vous fait cela? (Ⅱ)

- And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this? (Ⅲ)

- ita dumtaxat ut non feriretis fœdus cum habitatoribus terræ hujus, sed aras eorum subverteretis : et noluistis audire vocem meam : cur hoc fecistis ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃2 ואתם לא תכרתו ברית ליושבי הארץ הזאת מזבחותיהם תתצון ולא שמעתם בקלי מה זאת עשיתם ‬ (Ⅴ)

κἀγὼ εἰ̃πον οὐ μὴ ἐξαρω̃ αὐτοὺς ἐκ προσώπου ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἔσονται ὑμι̃ν εἰς συνοχάς καὶ οἱ θεοὶ αὐτω̃ν ἔσονται ὑμι̃ν εἰς σκάνδαλον

- J'ai dit alors: Je ne les chasserai point devant vous; mais ils seront à vos côtés, et leurs dieux vous seront un piège. (Ⅱ)

- Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you. (Ⅲ)

- Quam ob rem nolui delere eos a facie vestra : ut habeatis hostes, et dii eorum sint vobis in ruinam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃2 וגם אמרתי לא אגרש אותם מפניכם והיו לכם לצדים ואלהיהם יהיו לכם למוקש ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἐλάλησεν ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπη̃ραν ὁ λαὸς τὴν φωνὴν αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔκλαυσαν

- Lorsque l'envoyé de l'Éternel eut dit ces paroles à tous les enfants d'Israël, le peuple éleva la voix et pleura. (Ⅱ)

- And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept. (Ⅲ)

- Cumque loqueretur angelus Domini hæc verba ad omnes filios Israël, elevaverunt ipsi vocem suam, et fleverunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃2 ויהי כדבר מלאך יהוה את הדברים האלה אל כל בני ישראל וישאו העם את קולם ויבכו ‬ (Ⅴ)

2. 5

καὶ ἐπωνόμασαν τὸ ὄνομα του̃ τόπου ἐκείνου Κλαυθμω̃νες καὶ ἐθυσίασαν ἐκει̃ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨

- Ils donnèrent à ce lieu le nom de Bokim, et ils y offrirent des sacrifices à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- And they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there unto the LORD. (Ⅲ)

- Et vocatum est nomen loci illius, Locus flentium, sive lacrimarum : immolaveruntque ibi hostias Domini.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃2 ויקראו שם המקום ההוא בכים ויזבחו שם ליהוה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν 'Ιησου̃ς τὸν λαόν καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἀνὴρ εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτου̃ κατακληρονομη̃σαι τὴν γη̃ν

- Josué renvoya le peuple, et les enfants d'Israël allèrent chacun dans son héritage pour prendre possession du pays. (Ⅱ)

- And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land. (Ⅲ)

- Dimisit ergo Josue populum, et abierunt filii Israël unusquisque in possessionem suam, ut obtinerent eam : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃2 וישלח יהושע את העם וילכו בני ישראל איש לנחלתו לרשת את הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

2. 7

καὶ ἐδούλευσεν ὁ λαὸς τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας 'Ιησου̃ καὶ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τω̃ν πρεσβυτέρων ὅσοι ἐμακροημέρευσαν μετὰ 'Ιησου̃ ὅσοι ἔγνωσαν πα̃ν τὸ ἔργον κυρίου τὸ μέγα ὃ ἐποίησεν ἐν τω̨̃ Ισραηλ

- Le peuple servit l'Éternel pendant toute la vie de Josué, et pendant toute la vie des anciens qui survécurent à Josué et qui avaient vu toutes les grandes choses que l'Éternel avait faites en faveur d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel. (Ⅲ)

- servieruntque Domino cunctis diebus ejus, et seniorum, qui longo post eum vixerunt tempore, et noverant omnia opera Domini quæ fecerat cum Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃2 ויעבדו העם את יהוה כל ימי יהושע וכל ימי הזקנים אשר האריכו ימים אחרי יהושוע אשר ראו את כל מעשה יהוה הגדול אשר עשה לישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν 'Ιησου̃ς υἱὸς Ναυη δου̃λος κυρίου υἱὸς ἑκατὸν δέκα ἐτω̃ν

- Josué, fils de Nun, serviteur de l'Éternel, mourut âgé de cent dix ans. (Ⅱ)

- And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old. (Ⅲ)

- Mortuus est autem Josue filius Nun, famulus Domini, centum et decem annorum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃2 וימת יהושע בן נון עבד יהוה בן מאה ועשר שנים ‬ (Ⅴ)

2. 9

καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν ὁρίω̨ τη̃ς κληρονομίας αὐτου̃ ἐν Θαμναθαρες ἐν ὄρει Εφραιμ ἀπὸ βορρα̃ του̃ ὄρους Γαας

- On l'ensevelit dans le territoire qu'il avait eu en partage, à Thimnath Hérès, dans la montagne d'Éphraïm, au nord de la montagne de Gaasch. (Ⅱ)

- And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash. (Ⅲ)

- et sepelierunt eum in finibus possessionis suæ in Thamnathsare in monte Ephraim, a septentrionali plaga montis Gaas. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃2 ויקברו אותו בגבול נחלתו בתמנת חרס בהר אפרים מצפון להר געש ‬ (Ⅴ)

καί γε πα̃σα ἡ γενεὰ ἐκείνη προσετέθησαν πρὸς τοὺς πατέρας αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἀνέστη γενεὰ ἑτέρα μετ' αὐτούς οἳ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τὸν κύριον καί γε τὸ ἔργον ὃ ἐποίησεν ἐν τω̨̃ Ισραηλ

- Toute cette génération fut recueillie auprès de ses pères, et il s'éleva après elle une autre génération, qui ne connaissait point l'Éternel, ni ce qu'il avait fait en faveur d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. (Ⅲ)

- Omnisque illa generatio congregata est ad patres suos : et surrexerunt alii, qui non noverant Dominum, et opera quæ fecerat cum Israël.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃2 וגם כל הדור ההוא נאספו אל אבותיו ויקם דור אחר אחריהם אשר לא ידעו את יהוה וגם את המעשה אשר עשה לישראל ס‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ ἐλάτρευσαν τοι̃ς Βααλιμ

- Les enfants d'Israël firent alors ce qui déplaît à l'Éternel, et ils servirent les Baals. (Ⅱ)

- And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: (Ⅲ)

- Feceruntque filii Israël malum in conspectu Domini, et servierunt Baalim. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃2 ויעשו בני ישראל את הרע בעיני יהוה ויעבדו את הבעלים ‬ (Ⅴ)

2. 12

καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον τὸν κύριον τὸν θεὸν τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτω̃ν τὸν ἐξαγαγόντα αὐτοὺς ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὀπίσω θεω̃ν ἑτέρων ἀπὸ τω̃ν θεω̃ν τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν τω̃ν περικύκλω̨ αὐτω̃ν καὶ προσεκύνησαν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ παρώργισαν τὸν κύριον

- Ils abandonnèrent l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, qui les avait fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, et ils allèrent après d'autres dieux d'entre les dieux des peuples qui les entouraient; ils se prosternèrent devant eux, et ils irritèrent l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. (Ⅲ)

- Ac dimiserunt Dominum Deum patrum suorum, qui eduxerat eos de terra Ægypti, et secuti sunt deos alienos, deosque populorum, qui habitabant in circuitu eorum, et adoraverunt eos : et ad iracundiam concitaverunt Dominum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃2 ויעזבו את יהוה אלהי אבותם המוציא אותם מארץ מצרים וילכו אחרי אלהים אחרים מאלהי העמים אשר סביבותיהם וישתחוו להם ויכעסו את יהוה‪[C]‬‪[c]‬ ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον αὐτὸν καὶ ἐλάτρευσαν τω̨̃ Βααλ καὶ ται̃ς 'Αστάρταις

- Ils abandonnèrent l'Éternel, et ils servirent Baal et les Astartés. (Ⅱ)

- And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth. (Ⅲ)

- dimittentes eum, et servientes Baal et Astaroth. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃2 ויעזבו את יהוה ויעבדו לבעל ולעשתרות ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμω̨̃ κύριος ἐν τω̨̃ Ισραηλ καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς χει̃ρας προνομευόντων καὶ κατεπρονόμευσαν αὐτούς καὶ ἀπέδοτο αὐτοὺς ἐν χερσὶ τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν κυκλόθεν καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ἔτι ἀντιστη̃ναι κατὰ πρόσωπον τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν

- La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Israël. Il les livra entre les mains de pillards qui les pillèrent, il les vendit entre les mains de leurs ennemis d'alentour, et ils ne purent plus résister à leurs ennemis. (Ⅱ)

- And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies. (Ⅲ)

- Iratusque Dominus contra Israël, tradidit eos in manus diripientium : qui ceperunt eos, et vendiderunt hostibus qui habitabant per gyrum : nec potuerunt resistere adversariis suis, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃2 ויחר אף יהוה בישראל ויתנם ביד שסים וישסו אותם וימכרם ביד אויביהם מסביב ולא יכלו עוד לעמד לפני אויביהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

2. 15

ἐν πα̃σιν οἱ̃ς ἐξεπορεύοντο καὶ χεὶρ κυρίου ἠ̃ν ἐπ' αὐτοὺς εἰς κακά καθὼς ἐλάλησεν κύριος καὶ καθὼς ὤμοσεν κύριος αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἐξέθλιψεν αὐτοὺς σφόδρα

- Partout où ils allaient, la main de l'Éternel était contre eux pour leur faire du mal, comme l'Éternel l'avait dit, comme l'Éternel le leur avait juré. Ils furent ainsi dans une grande détresse. (Ⅱ)

- Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed. (Ⅲ)

- sed quocumque pergere voluissent, manus Domini super eos erat, sicut locutus est, et juravit eis, et vehementer afflicti sunt.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃2 בכל אשר יצאו יד יהוה היתה בם לרעה כאשר דבר יהוה וכאשר נשבע יהוה להם ויצר להם מאד ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἤγειρεν κύριος κριτάς καὶ ἔσωσεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐκ χειρὸς τω̃ν προνομευόντων αὐτούς

- L'Éternel suscita des juges, afin qu'ils les délivrassent de la main de ceux qui les pillaient. (Ⅱ)

- Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them. (Ⅲ)

- Suscitavitque Dominus judices, qui liberarent eos de vastantium manibus : sed nec eos audire voluerunt, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃2 ויקם יהוה שפטים ויושיעום מיד שסיהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

2. 17

καί γε τω̃ν κριτω̃ν οὐχ ὑπήκουσαν ὅτι ἐξεπόρνευσαν ὀπίσω θεω̃ν ἑτέρων καὶ προσεκύνησαν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἐξέκλιναν ταχὺ ἐκ τη̃ς ὁδου̃ ἡ̃ς ἐπορεύθησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτω̃ν του̃ εἰσακούειν τω̃ν λόγων κυρίου οὐκ ἐποίησαν οὕτως

- Mais ils n'écoutèrent pas même leurs juges, car ils se prostituèrent à d'autres dieux, se prosternèrent devant eux. Ils se détournèrent promptement de la voie qu'avaient suivie leurs pères, et ils n'obéirent point comme eux aux commandements de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so. (Ⅲ)

- fornicantes cum diis alienis, et adorantes eos. Cito deseruerunt viam, per quam ingressi fuerant patres eorum : et audientes mandata Domini, omnia fecere contraria. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃2 וגם אל שפטיהם לא שמעו כי זנו אחרי אלהים אחרים וישתחוו להם סרו מהר מן הדרך אשר הלכו אבותם לשמע מצות יהוה לא עשו כן ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ὅτι ἤγειρεν κύριος κριτὰς αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἠ̃ν κύριος μετὰ του̃ κριτου̃ καὶ ἔσωσεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρὸς ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας του̃ κριτου̃ ὅτι παρεκλήθη κύριος ἀπὸ του̃ στεναγμου̃ αὐτω̃ν ἀπὸ προσώπου τω̃ν πολιορκούντων αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐκθλιβόντων αὐτούς

- Lorsque l'Éternel leur suscitait des juges, l'Éternel était avec le juge, et il les délivrait de la main de leurs ennemis pendant toute la vie du juge; car l'Éternel avait pitié de leurs gémissements contre ceux qui les opprimaient et les tourmentaient. (Ⅱ)

- And when the LORD raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them. (Ⅲ)

- Cumque Dominus judices suscitaret, in diebus eorum flectebatur misericordia, et audiebat afflictorum gemitus, et liberabat eos de cæde vastantium. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃2 וכי הקים יהוה להם שפטים והיה יהוה עם השפט והושיעם מיד איביהם כל ימי השופט כי ינחם יהוה מנאקתם מפני לחציהם ודחקיהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἀπέθνη̨σκεν ὁ κριτής καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν καὶ πάλιν διέφθειραν ὑπὲρ τοὺς πατέρας αὐτω̃ν πορεύεσθαι ὀπίσω θεω̃ν ἑτέρων λατρεύειν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ προσκυνει̃ν αὐτοι̃ς οὐκ ἀπέρριψαν τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτω̃ν τὰς σκληράς

- Mais, à la mort du juge, ils se corrompaient de nouveau plus que leurs pères, en allant après d'autres dieux pour les servir et se prosterner devant eux, et ils persévéraient dans la même conduite et le même endurcissement. (Ⅱ)

- And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way. (Ⅲ)

- Postquam autem mortuus esset judex, revertebantur, et multo faciebant pejora quam fecerant patres eorum, sequentes deos alienos, servientes eis, et adorantes illos. Non dimiserunt adinventiones suas, et viam durissimam per quam ambulare consueverunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃2 והיה במות השופט ישבו והשחיתו מאבותם ללכת אחרי אלהים אחרים לעבדם ולהשתחות להם לא הפילו ממעלליהם ומדרכם הקשה ‬ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμω̨̃ κύριος ἐν τω̨̃ Ισραηλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ὅσα ἐγκατέλιπον τὸ ἔθνος του̃το τὴν διαθήκην μου ἣν ἐνετειλάμην τοι̃ς πατράσιν αὐτω̃ν καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσαν τη̃ς φωνη̃ς μου

- Alors la colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Israël, et il dit: Puisque cette nation a transgressé mon alliance que j'avais prescrite à ses pères, et puisqu'ils n'ont point obéi à ma voix, (Ⅱ)

- And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice; (Ⅲ)

- Iratusque est furor Domini in Israël, et ait : Quia irritum fecit gens ista pactum meum, quod pepigeram cum patribus eorum, et vocem meam audire contempsit : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃2 ויחר אף יהוה בישראל ויאמר יען אשר עברו הגוי הזה את בריתי אשר צויתי את אבותם ולא שמעו לקולי ‬ (Ⅴ)

καί γε ἐγὼ οὐ προσθήσω του̃ ἐξα̃ραι ἄνδρα ἐκ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν ὡ̃ν κατέλιπεν 'Ιησου̃ς υἱὸς Ναυη ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ καὶ ἀφη̃κεν

- je ne chasserai plus devant eux aucune des nations que Josué laissa quand il mourut. (Ⅱ)

- I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died: (Ⅲ)

- et ego non delebo gentes, quas dimisit Josue, et mortuus est : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃2 גם אני לא אוסיף להוריש איש מפניהם מן הגוים אשר עזב יהושע וימת ‬ (Ⅴ)

του̃ πειράσαι ἐν αὐτοι̃ς τὸν Ισραηλ εἰ φυλάσσονται τὴν ὁδὸν κυρίου πορεύεσθαι ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ὃν τρόπον ἐφύλαξαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτω̃ν ἢ οὔ

- C'est ainsi que je mettrai par elles Israël à l'épreuve, pour savoir s'ils prendront garde ou non de suivre la voie de l'Éternel, comme leurs pères y ont pris garde. (Ⅱ)

- That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not. (Ⅲ)

- ut in ipsis experiar Israël, utrum custodiant viam Domini, et ambulent in ea, sicut custodierunt patres eorum, an non. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃2 למען נסות בם את ישראל השמרים הם את דרך יהוה ללכת בם כאשר שמרו אבותם אם לא ‬ (Ⅴ)

2. 23

καὶ ἀφη̃κεν κύριος τὰ ἔθνη ταυ̃τα του̃ μὴ ἐξα̃ραι αὐτὰ τὸ τάχος καὶ οὐ παρέδωκεν αὐτὰ ἐν χειρὶ 'Ιησου̃

- Et l'Éternel laissa en repos ces nations qu'il n'avait pas livrées entre les mains de Josué, et il ne se hâta point de les chasser. (Ⅱ)

- Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua. (Ⅲ)

- Dimisit ergo Dominus omnes nationes has, et cito subvertere noluit, nec tradidit in manus Josue. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃2 וינח יהוה את הגוים האלה לבלתי הורישם מהר ולא נתנם ביד יהושע פ‬ (Ⅴ)
