καὶ ἔδραμεν Δαυιδ καὶ ἐπέστη ἐπ' αὐτὸν καὶ ἔλαβεν τὴν ῥομφαίαν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἀφει̃λεν τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃δον οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ὅτι τέθνηκεν ὁ δυνατὸς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔφυγον
- Il courut, s'arrêta près du Philistin, se saisit de son épée qu'il tira du fourreau, le tua et lui coupa la tête. Les Philistins, voyant que leur héros était mort, prirent la fuite. (Ⅱ) - Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled. (Ⅲ) - cucurrit, et stetit super Philisthæum, et tulit gladium ejus, et eduxit eum de vagina sua : et interfecit eum, præciditque caput ejus. Videntes autem Philisthiim quod mortuus esset fortissimus eorum, fugerunt. (Ⅳ) - 51 ׃17 וירץ דוד ויעמד אל הפלשתי ויקח את חרבו וישלפה מתערה וימתתהו ויכרת בה את ראשו ויראו הפלשתים כי מת גבורם וינסו (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἀνίστανται ἄνδρες Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα καὶ ἠλάλαξαν καὶ κατεδίωξαν ὀπίσω αὐτω̃ν ἕως εἰσόδου Γεθ καὶ ἕως τη̃ς πύλης 'Ασκαλω̃νος καὶ ἔπεσαν τραυματίαι τω̃ν ἀλλοφύλων ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ τω̃ν πυλω̃ν καὶ ἕως Γεθ καὶ ἕως Ακκαρων
- Et les hommes d'Israël et de Juda poussèrent des cris, et allèrent à la poursuite des Philistins jusque dans la vallée et jusqu'aux portes d'Ékron. Les Philistins blessés à mort tombèrent dans le chemin de Schaaraïm jusqu'à Gath et jusqu'à Ékron. (Ⅱ) - And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron. (Ⅲ) - Et consurgentes viri Israël et Juda vociferati sunt, et persecuti sunt Philisthæos usque dum venirent in vallem, et usque ad portas Accaron : cecideruntque vulnerati de Philisthiim in via Saraim, et usque ad Geth, et usque ad Accaron. (Ⅳ) - 52 ׃17 ויקמו אנשי ישראל ויהודה וירעו וירדפו את הפלשתים עד בואך גיא ועד שערי עקרון ויפלו חללי פלשתים בדרך שערים ועד גת ועד עקרון (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἀνέστρεψαν ἄνδρες Ισραηλ ἐκκλίνοντες ὀπίσω τω̃ν ἀλλοφύλων καὶ κατεπάτουν τὰς παρεμβολὰς αὐτω̃ν
- Et les enfants d'Israël revinrent de la poursuite des Philistins, et pillèrent leur camp. (Ⅱ) - And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents. (Ⅲ) - Et revertentes filii Israël postquam persecuti fuerant Philisthæos, invaserunt castra eorum. (Ⅳ) - 53 ׃17 וישבו בני ישראל מדלק אחרי פלשתים וישסו את מחניהם (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἔλαβεν Δαυιδ τὴν κεφαλὴν του̃ ἀλλοφύλου καὶ ἤνεγκεν αὐτὴν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὰ σκεύη αὐτου̃ ἔθηκεν ἐν τω̨̃ σκηνώματι αὐτου̃
- David prit la tête du Philistin et la porta à Jérusalem, et il mit dans sa tente les armes du Philistin. (Ⅱ) - And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armor in his tent. (Ⅲ) - Assumens autem David caput Philisthæi, attulit illud in Jerusalem : arma vero ejus posuit in tabernaculo suo.\ (Ⅳ) - 54 ׃17 ויקח דוד את ראש הפלשתי ויבאהו ירושלם ואת כליו שם באהלו ס (Ⅴ)

- Lorsque Saül avait vu David marcher à la rencontre du Philistin, il avait dit à Abner, chef de l'armée: De qui ce jeune homme est-il fils, Abner? Abner répondit: Aussi vrai que ton âme est vivante, ô roi! je l'ignore. (Ⅱ) - And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell. (Ⅲ) - Eo autem tempore quo viderat Saul David egredientem contra Philisthæum, ait ad Abner principem militiæ : De qua stirpe descendit hic adolescens, Abner ? Dixitque Abner : Vivit anima tua, rex, si novi. (Ⅳ) - 55 ׃17 וכראות שאול את דוד יצא לקראת הפלשתי אמר אל אבנר שר הצבא בן מי זה הנער אבנר ויאמר אבנר חי נפשך המלך אם ידעתי (Ⅴ)

- Informe-toi donc de qui ce jeune homme est fils, dit le roi. (Ⅱ) - And the king said, Inquire thou whose son the stripling is. (Ⅲ) - Et ait rex : Interroga tu, cujus filius sit iste puer. (Ⅳ) - 56 ׃17 ויאמר המלך שאל אתה בן מי זה העלם ס (Ⅴ)

- Et quand David fut de retour après avoir tué le Philistin, Abner le prit et le mena devant Saül. David avait à la main la tête du Philistin. (Ⅱ) - And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand. (Ⅲ) - Cumque regressus esset David, percusso Philisthæo, tulit eum Abner, et introduxit coram Saule, caput Philisthæi habentem in manu. (Ⅳ) - 57 ׃17 וכשוב דוד מהכות את הפלשתי ויקח אתו אבנר ויבאהו לפני שאול וראש הפלשתי בידו (Ⅴ)

- Saül lui dit: De qui es-tu fils, jeune homme? Et David répondit: Je suis fils de ton serviteur Isaï, Bethléhémite. (Ⅱ) - And Saul said to him, Whose son art thou, thou young man? And David answered, I am the son of thy servant Jesse the Bethlehemite. (Ⅲ) - Et ait ad eum Saul : De qua progenie es, o adolescens ? Dixitque David : Filius servi tui Isai Bethlehemitæ ego sum. (Ⅳ) - 58 ׃17 ויאמר אליו שאול בן מי אתה הנער ויאמר דוד בן עבדך ישי בית הלחמי (Ⅴ)
