26. 100  
فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَافِعِينَ
- Fama lana min shafiAAeena (Ⅰ)
- "´But now we have no intercessors (Ⅱ)
- Now we have no intercessors (Ⅲ)
- so now we have no intercessors, (Ⅳ)
- "´Now, then, we have none to intercede (for us), (Ⅵ)
26. 101  
وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ
- Wala sadeeqin hameemin (Ⅰ)
- "´And no loving friend. (Ⅱ)
- Nor any loving friend. (Ⅲ)
- no loyal friend. (Ⅳ)
- "´Nor a single friend to feel (for us). (Ⅵ)
26. 102  
فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- Falaw anna lana karratan fanakoona mina almumineena (Ⅰ)
- "´Oh, that we had another turn on earth, that we might be of the believers.´" (Ⅱ)
- Oh, that we had another turn (on earth), that we might be of the believers! (Ⅲ)
- O that we might return again, and be among the believers!´ (Ⅳ)
- "´Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!´" (Ⅵ)
26. 103  
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
- Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena (Ⅰ)
- Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers! (Ⅱ)
- Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers! (Ⅲ)
- Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. (Ⅳ)
- Verily in this is a Sign but most of them do not believe. (Ⅵ)
26. 104  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
- Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu (Ⅰ)
- And, verily, your Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. (Ⅱ)
- And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. (Ⅳ)
- And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. (Ⅵ)
26. 105  
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
- Kaththabat qawmu noohin almursaleena (Ⅰ)
- The people of Noah denied the messengers. (Ⅱ)
- Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), (Ⅲ)
- The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys (Ⅳ)
- The people of Noah rejected the messengers. (Ⅵ)
26. 106  
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
- Ith qala lahum akhoohum noohun ala tattaqoona (Ⅰ)
- When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear (Allah and avoid evil)? (Ⅱ)
- When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil) ? (Ⅲ)
- when their brother Noah said to them, ´Will you not be godfearing? (Ⅳ)
- Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? (Ⅵ)
26. 107  
إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
- Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun (Ⅰ)
- "Verily, I am a faithful messenger to you; (Ⅱ)
- Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, (Ⅲ)
- I am for you a faithful Messenger, (Ⅳ)
- "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: (Ⅵ)
26. 108  
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
- Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni (Ⅰ)
- "So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. (Ⅱ)
- So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. (Ⅲ)
- so serve you God, and obey you me. (Ⅳ)
- "So fear Allah, and obey me. (Ⅵ)
26. 109  
وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
- Wama asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illa AAala rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- "I ask you for it no wages; my wage is only the concern of the Lord of the Worlds. (Ⅱ)
- And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. (Ⅲ)
- I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; (Ⅳ)
- "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: (Ⅵ)
26. 110  
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
- Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni (Ⅰ)
- "So fear Allah and obey me." (Ⅱ)
- So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. (Ⅲ)
- so fear you God, and obey you me.´ (Ⅳ)
- "So fear Allah, and obey me." (Ⅵ)
26. 111  
۞ قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْأَرْذَلُونَ
- Qaloo anuminu laka waittabaAAaka alarthaloona (Ⅰ)
- They said, "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest follow you?” (Ⅱ)
- They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee ? (Ⅲ)
- They said, ´Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?´ (Ⅳ)
- They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" (Ⅵ)
26. 112  
قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِي بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
- Qala wama AAilmee bima kanoo yaAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- He said, "What knowledge have I of what they were doing; (Ⅱ)
- He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past) ? (Ⅲ)
- He said, ´What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? (Ⅳ)
- He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? (Ⅵ)
26. 113  
إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ
- In hisabuhum illa AAala rabbee law tashAAuroona (Ⅰ)
- "Their account is only with my Lord, if you but understood. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; (Ⅲ)
- Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. (Ⅳ)
- "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. (Ⅵ)
26. 114  
وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- Wama ana bitaridi almumineena (Ⅰ)
- "And I am not here to drive away the believers, (Ⅱ)
- And I am not (here) to repulse believers. (Ⅲ)
- I would not drive away the believers; (Ⅳ)
- "I am not one to drive away those who believe. (Ⅵ)
26. 115  
إِنْ أَنَا إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
- In ana illa natheerun mubeenun (Ⅰ)
- "I am only a plain Warner." (Ⅱ)
- I am only a plain warner. (Ⅲ)
- ´I am naught but a plain warner.´ (Ⅳ)
- "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." (Ⅵ)
26. 116  
قَالُوا لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَا نُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ
- Qaloo lain lam tantahi ya noohu latakoonanna mina almarjoomeena (Ⅰ)
- They said, "Verily, if you desist not, O Noah! you shall surely be of those who are stoned!" (Ⅱ)
- They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). (Ⅲ)
- They said, ´If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.´ (Ⅳ)
- They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." (Ⅵ)
26. 117  
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ
- Qala rabbi inna qawmee kaththabooni (Ⅰ)
- Said he, "My Lord! Verily, my own people reject me. (Ⅱ)
- He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. (Ⅲ)
- He said, ´My Lord, my people have cried me lies, (Ⅳ)
- He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. (Ⅵ)
26. 118  
فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- Faiftah baynee wabaynahum fathan wanajjinee waman maAAiya mina almumineena (Ⅰ)
- "Judge you between us openly, and deliver me and those of the believers who are with me." (Ⅱ)
- Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. (Ⅲ)
- so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. (Ⅳ)
- "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." (Ⅵ)
26. 119  
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
- Faanjaynahu waman maAAahu fee alfulki almashhooni (Ⅰ)
- So We saved him and those with him in the laden ark, (Ⅱ)
- And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. (Ⅲ)
- So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, (Ⅳ)
- So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). (Ⅵ)
26. 120  
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبَاقِينَ
- Thumma aghraqna baAAdu albaqeena (Ⅰ)
- Then We drowned the rest; (Ⅱ)
- Then afterward We drowned the others. (Ⅲ)
- then afterwards We drowned the rest. (Ⅳ)
- Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. (Ⅵ)
26. 121  
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

- Verily, in this indeed is a sign, yet most of them are not believers; (Ⅱ)

26. 122  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
- Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu (Ⅰ)
- And, verily, your Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. (Ⅱ)
- And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. (Ⅳ)
- And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. (Ⅵ)
26. 123  
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
- Kaththabat AAadun almursaleena (Ⅰ)
- And (the people of) A´ad denied the messengers; (Ⅱ)
- (The tribe of) A'ad denied the messengers (of Allah). (Ⅲ)
- Ad cried lies to the Envoys (Ⅳ)
- The ´Ad (people) rejected the messengers. (Ⅵ)
26. 124  
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
- Ith qala lahum akhoohum hoodun ala tattaqoona (Ⅰ)
- When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear? (Ⅱ)
- When their brother Hud said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil) ? (Ⅲ)
- when their brother Hood said to them, ´Will you not be godfearing? (Ⅳ)
- Behold, their brother Hud said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? (Ⅵ)
26. 125  
إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
- Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun (Ⅰ)
- "Verily, I am to you a faithful messenger; (Ⅱ)
- Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, (Ⅲ)
- I am for you a faithful Messenger, (Ⅳ)
- "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: (Ⅵ)
26. 126  
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
- Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni (Ⅰ)
- "So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. (Ⅱ)
- So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. (Ⅲ)
- so fear you God, and obey you me. (Ⅳ)
- "So fear Allah and obey me. (Ⅵ)
26. 127  
وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

26. 128  
أَتَبْنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ آيَةً تَعْبَثُونَ
- Atabnoona bikulli reeAAin ayatan taAAbathoona (Ⅰ)
- "Do you build on every height a monument of vain delight? (Ⅱ)
- Build ye on every high place a monument for vain delight ? (Ⅲ)
- What, do you build on every prominence a sign, sporting, (Ⅳ)
- "Do ye build a landmark on every high place to amuse yourselves? (Ⅵ)
26. 129  
وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ
- Watattakhithoona masaniAAa laAAallakum takhludoona (Ⅰ)
- "And build you fine strong buildings that per chance (or possibly) you may be immortal? (Ⅱ)
- And seek ye out strongholds, that haply ye may last for ever ? (Ⅲ)
- and do you take to you castles, haply to dwell forever? (Ⅳ)
- "And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)? (Ⅵ)
26. 130  
وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُم بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ
- Waitha batashtum batashtum jabbareena (Ⅰ)
- "And when you seize by force, assault you like tyrants? (Ⅱ)
- And if ye seize by force, seize ye as tyrants ? (Ⅲ)
- When you assault, you assault like tyrants! (Ⅳ)
- "And when ye exert your strong hand, do ye do it like men of absolute power? (Ⅵ)
26. 131  
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
- Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni (Ⅰ)
- "Rather fear Allah and obey me; (Ⅱ)
- Rather keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. (Ⅲ)
- So fear you God, and obey you me; (Ⅳ)
- "Now fear Allah, and obey me. (Ⅵ)
26. 132  
وَاتَّقُوا الَّذِي أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعْلَمُونَ
- Waittaqoo allathee amaddakum bima taAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- And keep your duty to Him who has bestowed on you freely all that you know. (Ⅱ)
- Keep your duty toward Him Who hath aided you with (the good things) that ye know, (Ⅲ)
- and fear Him who has succoured you with what you know, (Ⅳ)
- "Yea, fear Him Who has bestowed on you freely all that ye know. (Ⅵ)
26. 133  
أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنْعَامٍ وَبَنِينَ
- Amaddakum bianAAamin wabaneena (Ⅰ)
- And has aided you with cattle and sons (Ⅱ)
- Hath aided you with cattle and sons. (Ⅲ)
- succoured you with flocks and sons, (Ⅳ)
- "Freely has He bestowed on you cattle and sons,- (Ⅵ)
26. 134  
وَجَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
- Wajannatin waAAuyoonin (Ⅰ)
- And gardens and springs. (Ⅱ)
- And gardens and watersprings. (Ⅲ)
- gardens and fountains. (Ⅳ)
- "And Gardens and Springs. (Ⅵ)
26. 135  
إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
- Innee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin (Ⅰ)
- Verily, I fear for you the retribution of an awful day!" (Ⅱ)
- Lo! I fear for you the retribution of an awful day. (Ⅲ)
- ´Indeed, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.´ (Ⅳ)
- "Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Great Day." (Ⅵ)
26. 136  
قَالُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ الْوَاعِظِينَ
- Qaloo sawaon AAalayna awaAAathta am lam takun mina alwaAAitheena (Ⅰ)
- They said, "It is the same to us if you admonish or are not of those who admonish; (Ⅱ)
- They said: It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach; (Ⅲ)
- They said, ´Alike it is to us, whether thou admonishest, or art not one of the admonishers; (Ⅳ)
- They said: "It is the same to us whether thou admonish us or be not among (our) admonishers! (Ⅵ)
26. 137  
إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا خُلُقُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
- In hatha illa khuluqu alawwaleena (Ⅰ)
- "This is nothing but the fable of men of old, (Ⅱ)
- This is but a fable of the men of old, (Ⅲ)
- this is nothing but the habit of the ancients, (Ⅳ)
- "This is no other than a customary device of the ancients, (Ⅵ)
26. 138  
وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
- Wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena (Ⅰ)
- "For we are not the ones to be doomed (or tormented)." (Ⅱ)
- And we shall not be doomed. (Ⅲ)
- and we shall not be chastised.´ (Ⅳ)
- "And we are not the ones to receive Pains and Penalties!" (Ⅵ)
26. 139  
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
- Fakaththaboohu faahlaknahum inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena (Ⅰ)
- And they denied him; therefore, We destroyed them. Verily, in this is a sign, but most of them are not believers. (Ⅱ)
- And they denied him; therefor We destroyed them. Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. (Ⅲ)
- So they cried him lies; then We destroyed them. Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. (Ⅳ)
- So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. (Ⅵ)
26. 140  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
- Kaththabat thamoodu almursaleena (Ⅰ)
- (The tribe of) Thamud denied the messengers; (Ⅱ)
- (The tribe of) Thamud denied the messengers (of Allah) (Ⅲ)
- Thamood cried lies to the Envoys (Ⅳ)
- The Thamud (people) rejected the messengers. (Ⅵ)
26. 142  
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ صَالِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
- Ith qala lahum akhoohum salihun ala tattaqoona (Ⅰ)
- When their brother Salih said to them, "Will you not fear? (Ⅱ)
- When their brother Salih said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil) ? (Ⅲ)
- when their brother Salih said to them, ´Will you not be godfearing? (Ⅳ)
- Behold, their brother Salih said to them: "Will you not fear (Allah)? (Ⅵ)
26. 143

- "Verily, I am to you a faithful messenger; (Ⅱ)
- Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, (Ⅲ)

26. 144  
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
- Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni (Ⅰ)
- "So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. (Ⅱ)
- So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. (Ⅲ)
- so fear you God, and obey you me.´ (Ⅳ)
- "So fear Allah, and obey me. (Ⅵ)
26. 145

26. 146  
أَتُتْرَكُونَ فِي مَا هَاهُنَا آمِنِينَ
- Atutrakoona fee ma hahuna amineena (Ⅰ)
- "Shall you be left here secure in that which is before us (Ⅱ)
- Will ye be left secure in that which is here before us, (Ⅲ)
- Will you be left secure in this here, (Ⅳ)
- "Will ye be left secure, in (the enjoyment of) all that ye have here?- (Ⅵ)
26. 147  
فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
- Fee jannatin waAAuyoonin (Ⅰ)
- "In gardens and springs, (Ⅱ)
- In gardens and watersprings. (Ⅲ)
- among gardens and fountains, (Ⅳ)
- "Gardens and Springs, (Ⅵ)
26. 148  
وَزُرُوعٍ وَنَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيمٌ
- WazurooAAin wanakhlin talAAuha hadeemun (Ⅰ)
- "And tilled fields and heavily sheathed palms (Ⅱ)
- And tilled fields and heavy-sheathed palm-trees, (Ⅲ)
- sown fields, and palms with slender spathes? (Ⅳ)
- "And corn-fields and date-palms with spathes near breaking (with the weight of fruit)? (Ⅵ)
26. 149  
وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا فَارِهِينَ
- Watanhitoona mina aljibali buyootan fariheena (Ⅰ)
- "Though you hew out dwellings in the mountain skillfully? (Ⅱ)
