27. 50  
وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
- Wamakaroo makran wamakarna makran wahum la yashAAuroona (Ⅰ)
- And they plotted a plot, and We plotted a plot while they perceive not. (Ⅱ)
- So they plotted a plot: and We plotted a plot, while they perceived not. (Ⅲ)
- And they devised a device, and We likewise devised a device, while they were not aware; (Ⅳ)
- They plotted and planned, but We too planned, even while they perceived it not. (Ⅵ)
27. 51  
فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَاهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
- Faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu makrihim anna dammarnahum waqawmahum ajmaAAeena (Ⅰ)
- Behold, what was the nature of the consequences of their plotting, for lo! We destroyed them and their people, everyone. (Ⅱ)
- Then see the nature of the consequence of their plotting, for lo! We destroyed them and their people, every one. (Ⅲ)
- and behold, how was the end of their device! For We destroyed them and their people all together. (Ⅳ)
- Then see what was the end of their plot!- this, that We destroyed them and their people, all (of them). (Ⅵ)
27. 52  
فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةً بِمَا ظَلَمُوا ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
- Fatilka buyootuhum khawiyatan bima thalamoo inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- Thus are their houses in utter ruin, for that they did wrong; verily, in that is a sign to people who have knowledge. (Ⅱ)
- See, yonder are their dwellings empty and in ruins because they did wrong. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for a people who have knowledge. (Ⅲ)
- Those are their houses, all fallen down because of the evil they committed; surely in that is a sign for a people who have knowledge. (Ⅳ)
- Now such were their houses, - in utter ruin, - because they practised wrong-doing. Verily in this is a Sign for people of knowledge. (Ⅵ)
27. 53  
وَأَنجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ
- Waanjayna allatheena amanoo wakanoo yattaqoona (Ⅰ)
- But We saved those who believed and who did fear (or avoid evil). (Ⅱ)
- And we saved those who believed and used to ward off (evil). (Ⅲ)
- And We delivered those who believed and were godfearing. (Ⅳ)
- And We saved those who believed and practised righteousness. (Ⅵ)
27. 54  
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ
- Walootan ith qala liqawmihi atatoona alfahishata waantum tubsiroona (Ⅰ)
- And Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit abomination knowingly? (Ⅱ)
- And Lot! when he said unto his folk: Will ye commit abomination knowingly ? (Ⅲ)
- And Lot, when he said to his people, ´What, do you commit indecency with your eyes open? (Ⅳ)
- (We also sent) Lut (as a messenger): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)? (Ⅵ)
27. 55  
أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ النِّسَاءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ
- Ainnakum latatoona alrrijala shahwatan min dooni alnnisai bal antum qawmun tajhaloona (Ⅰ)
- Must you needs lust after men instead of women? Nay! You are a senseless people." (Ⅱ)
- Must ye needs lust after men instead of women ? Nay, but ye are folk who act senselessly. (Ⅲ)
- What, do you approach men lustfully instead of women? No, you are a people that are ignorant.´ (Ⅳ)
- Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant! (Ⅵ)
27. 56  
۞ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوا آلَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
- Fama kana jawaba qawmihi illa an qaloo akhrijoo ala lootin min qaryatikum innahum onasun yatatahharoona (Ⅰ)
- But the answer of his people was only to say, "Drive out Lot´s family from your city, for they are a folk who would keep pure." (Ⅱ)
- But the answer of his folk was naught save that they said: Expel the household of Lot from your township, for they (forsooth) are folk who would keep clean! (Ⅲ)
- And the only answer of his people was that they said, ´Expel the folk of Lot from your city; they are men that keep themselves clean!´ (Ⅳ)
- But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!" (Ⅵ)
27. 57  
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَاهَا مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
- Faanjaynahu waahlahu illa imraatahu qaddarnaha mina alghabireena (Ⅰ)
- But We saved him and his family except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lingered behind; (Ⅱ)
- Then We saved him and his household save his wife; We destined her to be of those who stayed behind. (Ⅲ)
- So We delivered him and his family, except his wife; We decreed she should be of those that tarried. (Ⅳ)
- But We saved him and his family, except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lagged behind. (Ⅵ)
27. 58  
وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
- Waamtarna AAalayhim mataran fasaa mataru almunthareena (Ⅰ)
- And We rained down upon them a shower, and dreadful is the rain for those who have been warned. (Ⅱ)
- And We rained a rain upon them. Dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned. (Ⅲ)
- And We rained on them a rain; and evil indeed is the rain of them that are warned. (Ⅳ)
- And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)! (Ⅵ)
27. 59  
قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَىٰ ۗ آللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
- Quli alhamdu lillahi wasalamun AAala AAibadihi allatheena istafa allahu khayrun amma yushrikoona (Ⅰ)
- Say, "Praise belongs to Allah; and peace be upon His servants whom He has chosen! Is Allah best, or what they associate as partners with Him?" (Ⅱ)
- Say (O Muhammad): Praise be to Allah, and peace be on His slaves whom He hath chosen! Is Allah best, or (all) that ye ascribe as partners (unto Him) ? (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´Praise belongs to God, and peace be on His servants whom He has chosen.´ What, is God better, or that they associate? (Ⅳ)
- Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better?- Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)? (Ⅵ)
27. 60  
أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَنبَتْنَا بِهِ حَدَائِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنبِتُوا شَجَرَهَا ۗ أَإِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ
- Amman khalaqa alssamawati waalarda waanzala lakum mina alssamai maan faanbatna bihi hadaiqa thata bahjatin ma kana lakum an tunbitoo shajaraha ailahun maAAa Allahi bal hum qawmun yaAAdiloona (Ⅰ)
- He who created the heavens and the earth; and sends down upon you water from the sky wherewith We cause to grow beautiful orchards, whose trees it has never been yours to grow; is there a God besides Him? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals with Him! (Ⅱ)
- Is not He (best) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sendeth down for you water from the sky wherewith We cause to spring forth joyous orchards, whose trees it never hath been yours to cause to grow. Is there any God beside Allah ? Nay, but they are folk who ascribe equals (unto Him)! (Ⅲ)
- He who created the heavens and earth, and sent down for you out of heaven water; and We caused to grow therewith gardens full of loveliness whose trees you could never grow. Is there a god with God? Nay, but they are a people who assign to Him equals! (Ⅳ)
- Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice. (Ⅵ)
27. 61  
أَمَّن جَعَلَ الْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَالَهَا أَنْهَارًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ أَإِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
- Amman jaAAala alarda qararan wajaAAala khilalaha anharan wajaAAala laha rawasiya wajaAAala bayna albahrayni hajizan ailahun maAAa Allahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- He who made the earth a fixed abode, and placed rivers in its folds; and placed upon it firm mountains; and placed a barrier between the two waters; is there any God besides Allah? Nay, but most of them know not! (Ⅱ)
- Is not He (best) Who made the earth a fixed abode, and placed rivers in the folds thereof, and placed firm hills therein, and hath set a barrier between the two seas ? Is there any God beside Allah ? Nay, but most of them know not! (Ⅲ)
- He who made the earth a fixed place and set amidst it rivers and appointed for it firm mountains and placed a partition between the two seas. Is there a god with God? Nay, but the most of them have no knowledge. (Ⅳ)
- Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, most of them know not. (Ⅵ)
27. 62  
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَإِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
- Amman yujeebu almudtarra itha daAAahu wayakshifu alssooa wayajAAalukum khulafaa alardi ailahun maAAa Allahi qaleelan ma tathakkaroona (Ⅰ)
- He who answers the distressed when he calls upon Him and removes the evil; and has made you Vicegerents (or Successors) in the earth; is there a God besides Allah? Little do they reflect. (Ⅱ)
- Is not He (best) Who answereth the wronged one when he crieth unto Him and removeth the evil, and hath made you viceroys of the earth ? Is there any God beside Allah ? Little do they reflect! (Ⅲ)
- He who answers the constrained, when he calls unto Him, and removes the evil and appoints you to be successors in the earth. Is there a god with God? Little indeed do you remember. (Ⅳ)
- Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed! (Ⅵ)
27. 63  
أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَمَن يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ ۗ أَإِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ تَعَالَى اللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
- Amman yahdeekum fee thulumati albarri waalbahri waman yursilu alrriyaha bushran bayna yaday rahmatihi ailahun maAAa Allahi taAAala Allahu AAamma yushrikoona (Ⅰ)
- He who guides you in the darkness of the land and of the sea; and He who sends winds as heralds of His mercy; is there a God besides Allah? High exalted be Allah above what they associate with Him! (Ⅱ)
- Is not He (best) Who guideth you in the darkness of the land and the sea, He Who sendeth the winds as heralds of His mercy ? Is there any God beside Allah ? High Exalted be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! (Ⅲ)
- He who guides you in the shadows of the land and the sea and looses the winds, bearing good tidings before His mercy. Is there a god with God? High exalted be God, above that which they associate! (Ⅳ)
- Or, Who guides you through the depths of darkness on land and sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy? (Can there be another) god besides Allah?- High is Allah above what they associate with Him! (Ⅵ)
27. 64  
أَمَّن يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ أَإِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
- Amman yabdao alkhalqa thumma yuAAeeduhu waman yarzuqukum mina alssamai waalardi ailahun maAAa Allahi qul hatoo burhanakum in kuntum sadiqeena (Ⅰ)
- He who began the creation and then reproduces it; and who provides for you from the heaven and the earth; is there any God besides Allah? Bring your proofs if you are truthful! (Ⅱ)
- Is not He (best) Who produceth creation, then reproduceth it, and Who provideth for you from the heaven and the earth ? Is there any God beside Allah ? Say: Bring your proof, if ye are truthful! (Ⅲ)
- Who originates creation, then brings it back again, and provides you out of heaven and earth. Is there a god with God? Say: ´Produce your proof, if you speak truly.´ (Ⅳ)
- Or, Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye are telling the truth!" (Ⅵ)
27. 65  
قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
- Qul la yaAAlamu man fee alssamawati waalardi alghayba illa Allahu wama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoona (Ⅰ)
- Say, "None in the heavens or the earth knows the unseen save only Allah; and they perceive not when they shall be raised!" (Ⅱ)
- Say (O Muhammad): None in the heavens and the earth knoweth the Unseen save Allah; and they know not when they will be raised (again). (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´None knows the Unseen in the heavens and earth except God. And they are not aware when they shall be raised; (Ⅳ)
- Say: None in the heavens or on earth, except Allah, knows what is hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for Judgment). (Ⅵ)
27. 66  
بَلِ ادَّارَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا ۖ بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ
- Bali iddaraka AAilmuhum fee alakhirati bal hum fee shakkin minha bal hum minha AAamoona (Ⅰ)
- Nay, but does their knowledge reach to the Hereafter? Nay, but they are in doubt concerning it. Nay, but they are blind thereto. (Ⅱ)
- Nay, but doth their knowledge reach to the Hereafter ? Nay, for they are in doubt concerning it. Nay, for they cannot see it. (Ⅲ)
- nay, but their knowledge fails as to the Hereafter; nay, they are in doubt of it; nay, they are blind to it. (Ⅳ)
- Still less can their knowledge comprehend the Hereafter: Nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty thereanent; nay, they are blind thereunto! (Ⅵ)
27. 67  
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَإِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا وَآبَاؤُنَا أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ
- Waqala allatheena kafaroo aitha kunna turaban waabaona ainna lamukhrajoona (Ⅰ)
- And those who disbelieved say, "What! When we have become dust and (or like) our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? (Ⅱ)
- Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again) ? (Ⅲ)
- The unbelievers say, ´What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? (Ⅳ)
- The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? (Ⅵ)
27. 68  
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَٰذَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
- Laqad wuAAidna hatha nahnu waabaona min qablu in hatha illa asateeru alawwaleena (Ⅰ)
- "We were promised this, we and our fathers before us, this is nothing but ancient fables." (Ⅱ)
- We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. (Ⅲ)
- We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.´ (Ⅳ)
- "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." (Ⅵ)
27. 69  
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
- Qul seeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almujrimeena (Ⅰ)
- Say, "Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! (Ⅱ)
- Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.´ (Ⅳ)
- Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." (Ⅵ)
27. 70  
وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُن فِي ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
- Wala tahzan AAalayhim wala takun fee dayqin mimma yamkuroona (Ⅰ)
- And grieve not you for them, and be not in distress because of what they plot." (Ⅱ)
- And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). (Ⅲ)
- Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. (Ⅳ)
- But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. (Ⅵ)
27. 71  
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
- Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena (Ⅰ)
- They say, "When shall this promise be if you do tell the truth?" (Ⅱ)
- And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful ? (Ⅲ)
- They say, ´When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?´ (Ⅳ)
- They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." (Ⅵ)
27. 72  
قُلْ عَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ الَّذِي تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
- Qul AAasa an yakoona radifa lakum baAAdu allathee tastaAAjiloona (Ⅰ)
- Say; "It may be that a part of what you would hasten is pressing close behind you! (Ⅱ)
- Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. (Ⅳ)
- Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" (Ⅵ)
27. 73  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
- Wainna rabbaka lathoo fadlin AAala alnnasi walakinna aktharahum la yashkuroona (Ⅰ)
- But, verily, your Lord is full of grace to mankind, but most of them will not be thankful; (Ⅱ)
- Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. (Ⅲ)
- Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. (Ⅳ)
- But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. (Ⅵ)
27. 74  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
- Wainna rabbaka layaAAlamu ma tukinnu sudooruhum wama yuAAlinoona (Ⅰ)
- Verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest; (Ⅱ)
- Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. (Ⅲ)
- Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. (Ⅳ)
- And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. (Ⅵ)
27. 75  
وَمَا مِنْ غَائِبَةٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ
- Wama min ghaibatin fee alssamai waalardi illa fee kitabin mubeenin (Ⅰ)
- And there is no secret thing in the heaven or the earth, save that it is in a Clear Record. (Ⅱ)
- And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record. (Ⅲ)
- And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. (Ⅳ)
- Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. (Ⅵ)
27. 76  
إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَكْثَرَ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
- Inna hatha alqurana yaqussu AAala banee israeela akthara allathee hum feehi yakhtalifoona (Ⅰ)
- Verily, this Quran relates to the people of Israel most of that whereon they do dispute; (Ⅱ)
- Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. (Ⅲ)
- Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; (Ⅳ)
- Verily this Qur´an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. (Ⅵ)
27. 77  
وَإِنَّهُ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- Wainnahu lahudan warahmatun lilmumineena (Ⅰ)
- And, lo! It is a guidance and a mercy to the believers. (Ⅱ)
- And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. (Ⅲ)
- it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. (Ⅳ)
- And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. (Ⅵ)
27. 78  
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَلِيمُ
- Inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum bihukmihi wahuwa alAAazeezu alAAaleemu (Ⅰ)
- Verily, your Lord decides between them by His Wisdom (or Judgment), for He is the Mighty, the Wise. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. (Ⅲ)
- Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. (Ⅳ)
- Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. (Ⅵ)
27. 79  
فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ الْمُبِينِ
- Fatawakkal AAala Allahi innaka AAala alhaqqi almubeeni (Ⅰ)
- Rely you then upon Allah, for you stand on obvious Truth. (Ⅱ)
- Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. (Ⅲ)
- So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. (Ⅳ)
- So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. (Ⅵ)
27. 80  
إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ
- Innaka la tusmiAAu almawta wala tusmiAAu alssumma aldduAAaa itha wallaw mudbireena (Ⅰ)
- Verily, you can not make the dead to hear, nor can you make the deaf to hear the call when they turn to flee; (Ⅱ)
- Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; (Ⅲ)
- Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. (Ⅳ)
- Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. (Ⅵ)
27. 81  
وَمَا أَنتَ بِهَادِي الْعُمْيِ عَن ضَلَالَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
- Wama anta bihadee alAAumyi AAan dalalatihim in tusmiAAu illa man yuminu biayatina fahum muslimoona (Ⅰ)
- Nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and have Surrendered. (Ⅱ)
- Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. (Ⅲ)
- Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. (Ⅳ)
- Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. (Ⅵ)
27. 82  
۞ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَابَّةً مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ أَنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ
- Waitha waqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhim akhrajna lahum dabbatan mina alardi tukallimuhum anna alnnasa kanoo biayatina la yooqinoona (Ⅰ)
- And when the word is fulfiled against them We will bring forth a beast out of the earth (gross materialism?) that shall speak to (or wound) them, because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. (Ⅱ)
- And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. (Ⅲ)
- When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: ´Mankind had no faith in Our signs.´ (Ⅳ)
- And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. (Ⅵ)
27. 83  
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ
- Wayawma nahshuru min kulli ommatin fawjan mimman yukaththibu biayatina fahum yoozaAAoona (Ⅰ)
- And the Day when We will gather from every nation a troop of those who denied our revelations, and they shall be marshalled; (Ⅱ)
- And (remind them of) the Day when We shall gather out of every nation a host of those who denied Our revelations, and they will be set in array; (Ⅲ)
- Upon the day when We shall muster out of every nation a troop of those that cried lies to Our signs, duly disposed, (Ⅳ)
- One day We shall gather together from every people a troop of those who reject our Signs, and they shall be kept in ranks,- (Ⅵ)
27. 84  
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءُوا قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِآيَاتِي وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
- Hatta itha jaoo qala akaththabtum biayatee walam tuheetoo biha AAilman ammatha kuntum taAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- Until, when they come before their Lord, He will say, "Did you deny my revelations when you had compassed no knowledge thereof? Or what is it that you were doing?" (Ⅱ)
- Till, when they come (before their Lord), He will say: Did ye deny My revelations when ye could not compass them in knowledge, or what was it that ye did ? (Ⅲ)
- till, when they are come, He shall say, ´Did you cry lies to My signs, not comprehending them in knowledge, or what have you been doing?´ (Ⅳ)
- Until, when they come (before the Judgment-seat), (Allah) will say: "Did ye reject My Signs, though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?" (Ⅵ)
27. 85  
وَوَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
- WawaqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhim bima thalamoo fahum la yantiqoona (Ⅰ)
- And the Word shall be fulfiled concerning them because they did wrong, and they will not be able to speak. (Ⅱ)
- And the Word will be fulfilled concerning them because they have done wrong, and they will not speak. (Ⅲ)
- And the Word shall fall upon them because of the evil they committed, while they speak naught. (Ⅳ)
- And the Word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrong-doing, and they will be unable to speak (in plea). (Ⅵ)
27. 86  
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
- Alam yaraw anna jaAAalna allayla liyaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiran inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yuminoona (Ⅰ)
- Did they not see that how We have made the night for them to rest in, and the day to see by? Verily, in that are signs to people who believe. (Ⅱ)
- Have they not seen how We have appointed the night that they may rest therein, and the day sight-giving ? Lo! therein verily are portents for a people who believe. (Ⅲ)
- Have they not seen how We made the night for them, to repose in it, and the day, to see? Surely in that is a sign for a people who are believers. (Ⅳ)
- See they not that We have made the Night for them to rest in and the Day to give them light? Verily in this are Signs for any people that believe! (Ⅵ)
27. 87  
وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَاخِرِينَ
- Wayawma yunfakhu fee alssoori fafaziAAa man fee alssamawati waman fee alardi illa man shaa Allahu wakullun atawhu dakhireena (Ⅰ)
- And the Day when the trumpet shall be blown and all who are in the heavens and the earth shall be startled in fear (or horrified), save whom Allah wills. And all shall come unto Him, humbled. (Ⅱ)
- And (remind them of) the Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and the earth will start in fear, save him whom Allah willeth. And all come unto Him, humbled. (Ⅲ)
- On the day the Trumpet is blown, and terrified is whosoever is in the heavens and earth, excepting whom God wills, and every one shall come to Him, all utterly abject; (Ⅳ)
- And the Day that the Trumpet will be sounded - then will be smitten with terror those who are in the heavens, and those who are on earth, except such as Allah will please (to exempt): and all shall come to His (Presence) as beings conscious of their lowliness. (Ⅵ)
27. 88  
وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ ۚ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ
- Watara aljibala tahsabuha jamidatan wahiya tamurru marra alssahabi sunAAa Allahi allathee atqana kulla shayin innahu khabeerun bima tafAAaloona (Ⅰ)
- And you see the mountains (things seemingly firm and reliable) which you do deem firm, drifting away like the passing of the clouds - the work of Allah who orders all things. Verily, He is well aware of what you do! (Ⅱ)
- And thou seest the hills thou deemest solid flying with the flight of clouds: the doing of Allah Who perfecteth all things. Lo! He is Informed of what ye do. (Ⅲ)
- and thou shalt see the mountains, that thou supposest fixed, passing by like clouds -- God´s handiwork, who has created everything very well. He is aware of the things you do. (Ⅳ)
- Thou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away: (such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do. (Ⅵ)
27. 89  
مَن جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ آمِنُونَ
- Man jaa bialhasanati falahu khayrun minha wahum min fazaAAin yawmaithin aminoona (Ⅰ)
- He who brings a good deed shall have better than its worth; and from the alarm of that day they shall be safe: (Ⅱ)
- Whoso bringeth a good deed will have better than its worth; and such are safe from fear that Day. (Ⅲ)
- Whosoever comes with a good deed, he shall have better than it; and they shall be secure from terror that day. (Ⅳ)
- If any do good, good will (accrue) to them therefrom; and they will be secure from terror that Day. (Ⅵ)
27. 90  
وَمَن جَاءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
- Waman jaa bialssayyiati fakubbat wujoohuhum fee alnnari hal tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- But those who bring an evil deed shall be thrown down upon their faces in the Fire. Shall you be rewarded save for what you did? (Ⅱ)
- And whoso bringeth an ill-deed, such will be flung down on their faces in the Fire. Are ye rewarded aught save what ye did ? (Ⅲ)
- And whosoever comes with an evil deed, their faces shall be thrust into the Fire: ´Are you recompensed but for what you did?´ (Ⅳ)
- And if any do evil, their faces will be thrown headlong into the Fire: "Do ye receive a reward other than that which ye have earned by your deeds?" (Ⅵ)
27. 91  
إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ الْبَلْدَةِ الَّذِي حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
- Innama omirtu an aAAbuda rabba hathihi albaldati allathee harramaha walahu kullu shayin waomirtu an akoona mina almuslimeena (Ⅰ)
- (Say) I (Muhammad) am commanded to serve the Lord of this land (Mecca) which He has made sacred, and unto Whom belong all things. And I am commanded to be of those who Surrender (unto Him), (Ⅱ)
- (Say): I (Muhammad) am commanded only to serve the Lord of this land which He hath hallowed, and unto Whom all things belong. And I am commanded to be of those who surrender (unto Him), (Ⅲ)
- I have only been commanded to serve the Lord of this territory which He has made sacred; to Him belongs everything. And I have been commanded to be of those that surrender, (Ⅳ)
- For me, I have been commanded to serve the Lord of this city, Him Who has sanctified it and to Whom (belong) all things: and I am commanded to be of those who bow in Islam to Allah´s Will,- (Ⅵ)
27. 92  
وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَ الْقُرْآنَ ۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُنذِرِينَ
- Waan atluwa alqurana famani ihtada fainnama yahtadee linafsihi waman dalla faqul innama ana mina almunthireena (Ⅰ)
- And to recite the Quran; And he who is guided right, is guided right only for his own soul; and as for him who goes astray - say unto him, "I am only of those who warn!" (Ⅱ)
- And to recite the Qur'an. And whoso goeth right, goeth right only for (the good of) his own soul; and as for him who goeth astray - (Unto him) say: Lo! I am only a warner. (Ⅲ)
- and to recite the Koran. So whosoever is guided, is only guided to his own gain; and whosoever goes astray, say: ´I am naught but a warner. (Ⅳ)
- And to rehearse the Qur´an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner". (Ⅵ)
27. 93  
وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِهِ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
- Waquli alhamdu lillahi sayureekum ayatihi fataAArifoonaha wama rabbuka bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona (Ⅰ)
- And say, "Praise be to Allah, Who will show you His signs so that you shall recognize them; for your Lord is not heedless of what you do!" (Ⅱ)
- And say: Praise be to Allah Who will show you His portents so that ye shall know them. And thy Lord is not unaware of what ye (mortals) do. (Ⅲ)
- And say: ´Praise belongs to God. He shall show you His signs and you will recognise them. Thy Lord is not heedless of the things you do.´ (Ⅳ)
- And say: "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs, so that ye shall know them"; and thy Lord is not unmindful of all that ye do. (Ⅵ)
