- Sallu, Amok, Hilkija, Jedaeja. Ce furent là les chefs des sacrificateurs et de leurs frères, au temps de Josué. - (Ⅱ) - Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua. (Ⅲ) - Sellum, Amoc, Helcias, (Ⅴ)

8 ׃12 והלוים ישוע בנוי קדמיאל שרביה יהודה מתניה על הידות הוא ואחיו
- Lévites: Josué, Binnuï, Kadmiel, Schérébia, Juda, Matthania, qui dirigeait avec ses frères le chant des louanges; (Ⅱ) - Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, which was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren. (Ⅲ) - Idaia. Isti principes sacerdotum, et fratres eorum in diebus Josue. (Ⅴ)

(Ⅱ) - The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded chief of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian. - Les fils de Lévi, chefs de familles, furent inscrits dans le livre des Chroniques jusqu'au temps de Jochanan, fils d'Éliaschib. (Ⅱ) - The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib. (Ⅲ) - Levitæ in diebus Eliasib, et Jojada, et Johanan, et Jeddoa, scripti principes familiarum, et sacerdotes in regno Darii Persæ. (Ⅴ)

24 ׃12 וראשי הלוים חשביה שרביה וישוע בן קדמיאל ואחיהם לנגדם להלל להודות במצות דויד איש האלהים משמר לעמת משמר
- Les chefs des Lévites, Haschabia, Schérébia, et Josué, fils de Kadmiel, et leurs frères avec eux, les uns vis-à-vis des autres, étaient chargés de célébrer et de louer l'Éternel, selon l'ordre de David, homme de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward. (Ⅲ) - Filii Levi principes familiarum, scripti in libro verborum dierum, et usque ad dies Jonathan, filii Eliasib. (Ⅴ)

- Matthania, Bakbukia, Abdias, Meschullam, Thalmon et Akkub, portiers, faisaient la garde aux seuils des portes. (Ⅱ) - Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates. (Ⅲ) - Et principes Levitarum, Hasebia, Serebia, et Josue filius Cedmihel : et fratres eorum per vices suas, ut laudarent et confiterentur juxta præceptum David viri Dei, et observarent æque per ordinem. (Ⅴ)

26 ׃12 אלה בימי יויקים בן ישוע בן יוצדק ובימי נחמיה הפחה ועזרא הכהן הסופר פ
- Ils vivaient au temps de Jojakim, fils de Josué, fils de Jotsadak, et au temps de Néhémie, le gouverneur, et d'Esdras, le sacrificateur et le scribe. (Ⅱ) - These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe. (Ⅲ) - Mathania, et Becbecia, Obedia, Mosollam, Telmon, Accub, custodes portarum et vestibulorum ante portas. (Ⅴ)

27 ׃12 ובחנכת חומת ירושלם בקשו את הלוים מכל מקומתם להביאם לירושלם לעשת חנכה ושמחה ובתודות ובשיר מצלתים נבלים ובכנרות
- Lors de la dédicace des murailles de Jérusalem, on appela les Lévites de tous les lieux qu'ils habitaient et on les fit venir à Jérusalem, afin de célébrer la dédicace et la fête par des louanges et par des chants, au son des cymbales, des luths et des harpes. (Ⅱ) - And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps. (Ⅲ) - Hi in diebus Joacim filii Josue, filii Josedec, et in diebus Nehemiæ ducis, et Esdræ sacerdotis scribæque.\ (Ⅴ)

28 ׃12 ויאספו בני המשררים ומן הככר סביבות ירושלם ומן חצרי נטפתי
- Les fils des chantres se rassemblèrent des environs de Jérusalem, des villages des Nethophatiens, (Ⅱ) - And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi; (Ⅲ) - In dedicatione autem muri Jerusalem, requisierunt Levitas de omnibus locis suis ut adducerent eos in Jerusalem, et facerent dedicationem et lætitiam in actione gratiarum, et cantico, et in cymbalis, psalteriis, et citharis. (Ⅴ)

29 ׃12 ומבית הגלגל ומשדות גבע ועזמות כי חצרים בנו להם המשררים סביבות ירושלם
- de Beth Guilgal, et du territoire de Guéba et d'Azmaveth; car les chantres s'étaient bâti des villages aux alentours de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem. (Ⅲ) - Congregati sunt autem filii cantorum de campestribus circa Jerusalem, et de villis Nethuphathi, (Ⅴ)

30 ׃12 ויטהרו הכהנים והלוים ויטהרו את העם ואת השערים ואת החומה
- Les sacrificateurs et les Lévites se purifièrent, et ils purifièrent le peuple, les portes et la muraille. (Ⅱ) - And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall. (Ⅲ) - et de domo Galgal, et de regionibus Geba et Azmaveth : quoniam villas ædificaverunt sibi cantores in circuitu Jerusalem. (Ⅴ)

31 ׃12 ואעלה את שרי יהודה מעל לחומה ואעמידה שתי תודת גדולת ותהלכת לימין מעל לחומה לשער האשפת
- Je fis monter sur la muraille les chefs de Juda, et je formai deux grands choeurs. Le premier se mit en marche du côté droit sur la muraille, vers la porte du fumier. (Ⅱ) - Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate: (Ⅲ) - Et mundati sunt sacerdotes et Levitæ, et mundaverunt populum, et portas, et murum. (Ⅴ)

- Derrière ce choeur marchaient Hosée et la moitié des chefs de Juda, (Ⅱ) - And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah, (Ⅲ) - Ascendere autem feci principes Juda super murum, et statui duos magnos choros laudantium. Et ierunt ad dexteram super murum ad portam sterquilinii. (Ⅴ)

- des fils de sacrificateurs avec des trompettes, Zacharie, fils de Jonathan, fils de Schemaeja, fils de Matthania, fils de Michée, fils de Zaccur, fils d'Asaph, (Ⅱ) - And certain of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph: (Ⅲ) - Et de filiis sacerdotum in tubis, Zacharias filius Jonathan, filius Semeiæ, filius Mathaniæ, filius Michaiæ, filius Zechur, filius Asaph, (Ⅴ)

36 ׃12 ואחיו שמעיה ועזראל מללי גללי מעי נתנאל ויהודה חנני בכלי שיר דויד איש האלהים ועזרא הסופר לפניהם
- et ses frères, Schemaeja, Azareel, Milalaï, Guilalaï, Maaï, Nethaneel, Juda et Hanani, avec les instruments de musique de David, homme de Dieu. Esdras, le scribe, était à leur tête. (Ⅱ) - And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them. (Ⅲ) - et fratres ejus Semeia, et Azareel, Malalai, Galalai, Maai, Nathanaël, et Judas, et Hanani, in vasis cantici David viri Dei : et Esdras scriba ante eos in porta fontis. (Ⅴ)

37 ׃12 ועל שער העין ונגדם עלו על מעלות עיר דויד במעלה לחומה מעל לבית דויד ועד שער המים מזרח
- A la porte de la source, ils montèrent vis-à-vis d'eux les degrés de la cité de David par la montée de la muraille, au-dessus de la maison de David, jusqu'à la porte des eaux, vers l'orient. (Ⅱ) - And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward. (Ⅲ) - Et contra eos ascenderunt in gradibus civitatis David in ascensu muri super domum David, et usque ad portam aquarum ad orientem. (Ⅴ)

38 ׃12 והתודה השנית ההולכת למואל ואני אחריה וחצי העם מעל להחומה מעל למגדל התנורים ועד החומה הרחבה
- Le second choeur se mit en marche à l'opposite. J'étais derrière lui avec l'autre moitié du peuple, sur la muraille. Passant au-dessus de la tour des fours, on alla jusqu'à la muraille large; (Ⅱ) - And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall; (Ⅲ) - Et chorus secundus gratias referentium ibat ex adverso, et ego post eum, et media pars populi super murum, et super turrim furnorum, et usque ad murum latissimum, (Ⅴ)

39 ׃12 ומעל לשער אפרים ועל שער הישנה ועל שער הדגים ומגדל חננאל ומגדל המאה ועד שער הצאן[Q][k] ועמדו בשער המטרה
- puis au-dessus de la porte d'Éphraïm, de la vieille porte, de la porte des poissons, de la tour de Hananeel et de la tour de Méa, jusqu'à la porte des brebis. Et l'on s'arrêta à la porte de la prison. (Ⅱ) - And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate. (Ⅲ) - et super portam Ephraim, et super portam antiquam, et super portam piscium et turrim Hananeel, et turrim Emath, et usque ad portam gregis : et steterunt in porta custodiæ, (Ⅴ)

40 ׃12 ותעמדנה שתי התודת בבית האלהים ואני וחצי הסגנים עמי
- Les deux choeurs s'arrêtèrent dans la maison de Dieu; et nous fîmes de même, moi et les magistrats qui étaient avec moi, (Ⅱ) - So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me: (Ⅲ) - steteruntque duo chori laudantium in domo Dei, et ego, et dimidia pars magistratuum mecum. (Ⅴ)

41 ׃12 והכהנים אליקים מעשיה מנימין מיכיה אליועיני זכריה חנניה בחצצרות
- et les sacrificateurs Éliakim, Maaséja, Minjamin, Michée, Eljoénaï, Zacharie, Hanania, avec des trompettes, (Ⅱ) - And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets; (Ⅲ) - Et sacerdotes, Eliachim, Maasia, Miamin, Michea, Elioënai, Zacharia, Hanania in tubis, (Ⅴ)

42 ׃12 ומעשיה ושמעיה ואלעזר ועזי ויהוחנן ומלכיה ועילם ועזר וישמיעו המשררים ויזרחיה הפקיד
- et Maaséja, Schemaeja, Éléazar, Uzzi, Jochanan, Malkija, Élam et Ézer. Les chantres se firent entendre, dirigés par Jizrachja. (Ⅱ) - And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer. (Ⅲ) - et Maasia, et Semeia, et Eleazar, et Azzi, et Johanan, et Melchia, et Ælam, et Ezer. Et clare cecinerunt cantores, et Jezraia præpositus : (Ⅴ)

43 ׃12 ויזבחו ביום ההוא זבחים גדולים וישמחו כי האלהים שמחם שמחה גדולה וגם הנשים והילדים שמחו ותשמע שמחת ירושלם מרחוק
- On offrit ce jour-là de nombreux sacrifices, et on se livra aux réjouissances, car Dieu avait donné au peuple un grand sujet de joie. Les femmes et les enfants se réjouirent aussi, et les cris de joie de Jérusalem furent entendus au loin. (Ⅱ) - Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off. (Ⅲ) - et immolaverunt in die illa victimas magnas, et lætati sunt : Deus enim lætificaverat eos lætitia magna : sed et uxores eorum et liberi gavisi sunt, et audita est lætitia Jerusalem procul.\ (Ⅴ)

44 ׃12 ויפקדו ביום ההוא אנשים על הנשכות לאוצרות לתרומות לראשית ולמעשרות לכנוס בהם לשדי הערים מנאות התורה לכהנים וללוים כי שמחת יהודה על הכהנים ועל הלוים העמדים
- En ce jour, on établit des hommes ayant la surveillance des chambres qui servaient de magasins pour les offrandes, les prémices et les dîmes, et on les chargea d'y recueillir du territoire des villes les portions assignées par la loi aux sacrificateurs et aux Lévites. Car Juda se réjouissait de ce que les sacrificateurs et les Lévites étaient à leur poste, (Ⅱ) - And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited. (Ⅲ) - Recensuerunt quoque in die illa viros super gazophylacia thesauri ad libamina, et ad primitias, et ad decimas, ut introferrent per eos principes civitatis in decore gratiarum actionis, sacerdotes et Levitas : quia lætificatus est Juda in sacerdotibus et Levitis adstantibus. (Ⅴ)

45 ׃12 וישמרו משמרת אלהיהם ומשמרת הטהרה[C][c] והמשררים והשערים כמצות דויד שלמה בנו

46 ׃12 כי בימי דויד ואסף מקדם *ראש **ראשי המשררים ושיר תהלה והדות לאלהים
- car autrefois, du temps de David et d'Asaph, il y avait des chefs de chantres et des chants de louanges et d'actions de grâces en l'honneur de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God. (Ⅲ) - quia in diebus David et Asaph ab exordio erant principes constituti cantorum in carmine laudantium et confitentium Deo. (Ⅴ)

47 ׃12 וכל ישראל בימי זרבבל ובימי נחמיה נתנים מניות המשררים והשערים דבר יום ביומו ומקדשים ללוים והלוים מקדשים לבני אהרן פ
- Tout Israël, au temps de Zorobabel et de Néhémie, donna les portions des chantres et des portiers, jour par jour; on donna aux Lévites les choses consacrées, et les Lévites donnèrent aux fils d'Aaron les choses consacrées. (Ⅱ) - And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron. (Ⅲ) - Et omnis Israël in diebus Zorobabel et in diebus Nehemiæ, dabant partes cantoribus et janitoribus per dies singulos, et sanctificabant Levitas, et Levitæ sanctificabant filios Aaron. (Ⅴ)
