Tels sont ceux des enfants d'Israël dont on fit le dénombrement: six cent un mille sept cent trente.
- These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty. Le pays sera partagé entre eux, pour être leur propriété, selon le nombre des noms.
- Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. (Ⅱ) - τούτοις μερισθήσεται ἡ γη̃ κληρονομει̃ν ἐξ ἀριθμου̃ ὀνομάτων (Ⅲ) - Istis dividetur terra juxta numerum vocabulorum in possessiones suas. (Ⅳ) - 53 ׃26 לאלה תחלק הארץ בנחלה במספר שמות (Ⅴ)

A ceux qui sont en plus grand nombre tu donneras une portion plus grande, et à ceux qui sont en plus petit nombre tu donneras une portion plus petite; on donnera à chacun sa portion d'après le dénombrement.
- To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him. (Ⅱ) - τοι̃ς πλείοσιν πλεονάσεις τὴν κληρονομίαν καὶ τοι̃ς ἐλάττοσιν ἐλαττώσεις τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτω̃ν ἑκάστω̨ καθὼς ἐπεσκέπησαν δοθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Pluribus majorem partem dabis, et paucioribus minorem : singulis, sicut nunc recensiti sunt, tradetur possessio : (Ⅳ) - 54 ׃26 לרב תרבה נחלתו ולמעט תמעיט נחלתו איש לפי פקדיו יתן נחלתו (Ⅴ)

Mais le partage du pays aura lieu par le sort; ils le recevront en propriété selon les noms des tribus de leurs pères.
- Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. (Ⅱ) - διὰ κλήρων μερισθήσεται ἡ γη̃ τοι̃ς ὀνόμασιν κατὰ φυλὰς πατριω̃ν αὐτω̃ν κληρονομήσουσιν (Ⅲ) - ita dumtaxat ut sors terram tribubus dividat et familiis. (Ⅳ) - 55 ׃26 אך בגורל יחלק את הארץ לשמות מטות אבתם ינחלו (Ⅴ)

C'est par le sort que le pays sera partagé entre ceux qui sont en grand nombre et ceux qui sont en petit nombre.
- According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few. (Ⅱ) - ἐκ του̃ κλήρου μεριει̃ς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτω̃ν ἀνὰ μέσον πολλω̃ν καὶ ὀλίγων (Ⅲ) - Quidquid sorte contigerit, hoc vel plures accipiant, vel pauciores.\ (Ⅳ) - 56 ׃26 על פי הגורל תחלק נחלתו בין רב למעט ס (Ⅴ)

Voici les Lévites dont on fit le dénombrement, selon leurs familles: de Guerschon descend la famille des Guerschonites; de Kehath, la famille des Kehathites; de Merari, la famille des Merarites.
- And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites. (Ⅱ) - καὶ υἱοὶ Λευι κατὰ δήμους αὐτω̃ν τω̨̃ Γεδσων δη̃μος ὁ Γεδσωνι τω̨̃ Κααθ δη̃μος ὁ Κααθι τω̨̃ Μεραρι δη̃μος ὁ Μεραρι (Ⅲ) - Hic quoque est numerus filiorum Levi per familias suas : Gerson, a quo familia Gersonitarum : Caath, a quo familia Caathitarum : Merari, a quo familia Meraritarum. Voici les familles de Lévi: la famille des Libnites, la famille des Hébronites, la famille des Machlites, la famille des Muschites, la famille des Korites. Kehath engendra Amram.
- These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram. (Ⅱ) - οὑ̃τοι δη̃μοι υἱω̃ν Λευι δη̃μος ὁ Λοβενι δη̃μος ὁ Χεβρωνι δη̃μος ὁ Κορε καὶ δη̃μος ὁ Μουσι καὶ Κααθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμραμ (Ⅲ) - Hæ sunt familiæ Levi : familia Lobni, familia Hebroni, familia Moholi, familia Musi, familia Core. At vero Caath genuit Amram : (Ⅳ) - 58 ׃26 אלה משפחת לוי משפחת הלבני משפחת החברני משפחת המחלי משפחת המושי משפחת הקרחי וקהת הולד את עמרם (Ⅴ)

Le nom de la femme d'Amram était Jokébed, fille de Lévi, laquelle naquit à Lévi, en Égypte; elle enfanta à Amram: Aaron, Moïse, et Marie, leur soeur.
- And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τη̃ς γυναικὸς αὐτου̃ Ιωχαβεδ θυγάτηρ Λευι ἣ ἔτεκεν τούτους τω̨̃ Λευι ἐν Αἰγύπτω̨ καὶ ἔτεκεν τω̨̃ Αμραμ τὸν Ααρων καὶ Μωυση̃ν καὶ Μαριαμ τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - qui habuit uxorem Jochabed filiam Levi, quæ nata est ei in Ægypto. Hæc genuit Amram viro suo filios, Aaron, et Moysen, et Mariam sororem eorum. (Ⅳ) - 59 ׃26 ושם אשת עמרם יוכבד בת לוי אשר ילדה אתה ללוי במצרים ותלד לעמרם את אהרן ואת משה ואת מרים אחתם (Ⅴ)

Nadab et Abihu moururent, lorsqu'ils apportèrent devant l'Éternel du feu étranger.
- And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ ἐν τω̨̃ προσφέρειν αὐτοὺς πυ̃ρ ἀλλότριον ἔναντι κυρίου ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ Σινα (Ⅲ) - quorum Nadab et Abiu mortui sunt, cum obtulissent ignem alienum coram Domino. Ceux dont on fit le dénombrement, tous les mâles depuis l'âge d'un mois et au-dessus, furent vingt-trois mille. Ils ne furent pas compris dans le dénombrement des enfants d'Israël, parce qu'il ne leur fut point donné de possession au milieu des enfants d'Israël.
- And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγενήθησαν ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτω̃ν τρει̃ς καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες πα̃ν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω οὐ γὰρ συνεπεσκέπησαν ἐν μέσω̨ υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ὅτι οὐ δίδοται αὐτοι̃ς κλη̃ρος ἐν μέσω̨ υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Fueruntque omnes qui numerati sunt, viginti tria millia generis masculini ab uno mense et supra : quia non sunt recensiti inter filios Israël, nec eis cum ceteris data possessio est. (Ⅳ) - 62 ׃26 ויהיו פקדיהם שלשה ועשרים אלף כל זכר מבן חדש ומעלה כי לא התפקדו בתוך בני ישראל כי לא נתן להם נחלה בתוך בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

Tels sont ceux des enfants d'Israël dont Moïse et le sacrificateur Éléazar firent le dénombrement dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho.
- These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho. (Ⅱ) - καὶ αὕτη ἡ ἐπίσκεψις Μωυση̃ καὶ Ελεαζαρ του̃ ἱερέως οἳ ἐπεσκέψαντο τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν Αραβωθ Μωαβ ἐπὶ του̃ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω (Ⅲ) - Hic est numerus filiorum Israël, qui descripti sunt a Moyse et Eleazaro sacerdote, in campestribus Moab supra Jordanem contra Jericho : (Ⅳ) - 63 ׃26 אלה פקודי משה ואלעזר הכהן אשר פקדו את בני ישראל בערבת מואב על ירדן ירחו (Ⅴ)

Parmi eux, il n'y avait aucun des enfants d'Israël dont Moïse et le sacrificateur Aaron avaient fait le dénombrement dans le désert de Sinaï.
- But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν τούτοις οὐκ ἠ̃ν ἄνθρωπος τω̃ν ἐπεσκεμμένων ὑπὸ Μωυση̃ καὶ Ααρων οὓς ἐπεσκέψαντο τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ Σινα (Ⅲ) - inter quos, nullus fuit eorum qui ante numerati sunt a Moyse et Aaron in deserto Sinai : (Ⅳ) - 64 ׃26 ובאלה לא היה איש מפקודי משה ואהרן הכהן אשר פקדו את בני ישראל במדבר סיני (Ⅴ)

Car l'Éternel avait dit: ils mourront dans le désert, et il n'en restera pas un, excepté Caleb, fils de Jephunné, et Josué, fils de Nun.
- For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι εἰ̃πεν κύριος αὐτοι̃ς θανάτω̨ ἀποθανου̃νται ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ καὶ οὐ κατελείφθη ἐξ αὐτω̃ν οὐδὲ εἱ̃ς πλὴν Χαλεβ υἱὸς Ιεφοννη καὶ 'Ιησου̃ς ὁ του̃ Ναυη (Ⅲ) - prædixerat enim Dominus quod omnes morerentur in solitudine. Nullusque remansit ex eis, nisi Caleb filius Jephone, et Josue filius Nun. (Ⅳ) - 65 ׃26 כי אמר יהוה להם מות ימתו במדבר ולא נותר מהם איש כי אם כלב בן יפנה ויהושע בן נון ס (Ⅴ)
