Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ) - The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ) - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅲ) - Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅳ) - بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅴ)

Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
- Qul aAAoothu birabbi alnnasi (Ⅰ) - Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord and Cherisher of mankind, (Ⅱ) - Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, (Ⅲ) - Say: ´I take refuge with the Lord of men, (Ⅳ) - بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ (Ⅴ)

The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
- Maliki alnnasi (Ⅰ) - The King (or Ruler) of mankind, (Ⅱ) - The King of mankind, (Ⅲ) - the King of men, (Ⅳ) - مَلِكِ النَّاسِ (Ⅴ)

The god (or judge) of Mankind,-
- Ilahi alnnasi (Ⅰ) - The God (or Judge) of mankind, (Ⅱ) - The God of mankind, (Ⅲ) - the God of men, (Ⅳ) - إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ (Ⅴ)

From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-
- Min sharri alwaswasi alkhannasi (Ⅰ) - From the mischief of the Whisperer, who slinks off, (Ⅱ) - From the evil of the sneaking whisperer, (Ⅲ) - from the evil of the slinking whisperer (Ⅳ) - مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ (Ⅴ)

(The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
- Allathee yuwaswisu fee sudoori alnnasi (Ⅰ) - Who whispers into the heart of men! (Ⅱ) - Who whispereth in the hearts of mankind, (Ⅲ) - who whispers in the breasts of men (Ⅳ) - الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ (Ⅴ)

Among Jinns and among men.
- Mina aljinnati wa alnnasm (Ⅰ) - From among Jinn and Men!" (Ⅱ) - Of the jinn and of mankind (Ⅲ) - of jinn and men.´ (Ⅳ) - مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ (Ⅴ)
