The Beneficent, the Merciful,
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ) - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅱ) - Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅲ) - بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅳ) - Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord and Cherisher of mankind,
- Qul aAAoothu birabbi alnnasi (Ⅰ) - Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, (Ⅱ) - Say: ´I take refuge with the Lord of men, (Ⅲ) - بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ (Ⅳ) - Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, (Ⅵ)

The King (or Ruler) of mankind,
- Maliki alnnasi (Ⅰ) - The King of mankind, (Ⅱ) - the King of men, (Ⅲ) - مَلِكِ النَّاسِ (Ⅳ) - The King (or Ruler) of Mankind, (Ⅵ)

The God (or Judge) of mankind,
- Ilahi alnnasi (Ⅰ) - The God of mankind, (Ⅱ) - the God of men, (Ⅲ) - إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ (Ⅳ) - The god (or judge) of Mankind,- (Ⅵ)

From the mischief of the Whisperer, who slinks off,
- Min sharri alwaswasi alkhannasi (Ⅰ) - From the evil of the sneaking whisperer, (Ⅱ) - from the evil of the slinking whisperer (Ⅲ) - مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ (Ⅳ) - From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),- (Ⅵ)

Who whispers into the heart of men!
- Allathee yuwaswisu fee sudoori alnnasi (Ⅰ) - Who whispereth in the hearts of mankind, (Ⅱ) - who whispers in the breasts of men (Ⅲ) - الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ (Ⅳ) - (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,- (Ⅵ)

From among Jinn and Men!"
- Mina aljinnati wa alnnasm (Ⅰ) - Of the jinn and of mankind (Ⅱ) - of jinn and men.´ (Ⅲ) - مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ (Ⅳ) - Among Jinns and among men. (Ⅵ)
