105. 0  
Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅰ)
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅱ)
- Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅳ)
- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)
105. 1  
Alam tara kayfa faAAala rabbuka biashabi alfeeli
- See you not how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephant? (Ⅰ)
- Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant ? (Ⅱ)
- Hast thou not seen how thy Lord did with the Men of the Elephant? (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ (Ⅳ)
- Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant? (Ⅵ)
105. 2  
Alam yajAAal kaydahum fee tadleelin
- Did He not make their stratagem lead them astray, (Ⅰ)
- Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, (Ⅱ)
- Did He not make their guile to go astray? (Ⅲ)
- أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ (Ⅳ)
- Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? (Ⅵ)
105. 3  
Waarsala AAalayhim tayran ababeela
- And sent down on them birds in flocks, (Ⅰ)
- And send against them swarms of flying creatures, (Ⅱ)
- And He loosed upon them birds in flights, (Ⅲ)
- وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ (Ⅳ)
- And He sent against them Flights of Birds, (Ⅵ)
105. 4  
Tarmeehim bihijaratin min sijjeelin
- To pelt them with stones of baked clay, (Ⅰ)
- Which pelted them with stones of baked clay, (Ⅱ)
- hurling against them stones of baked clay (Ⅲ)
- تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ (Ⅳ)
- Striking them with stones of baked clay. (Ⅵ)
105. 5  
FajaAAalahum kaAAasfin makoolin
- And make them like stalks left by herbage eaten down? (Ⅰ)
- And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle) ? (Ⅱ)
- and He made them like green blades devoured. (Ⅲ)
- فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ (Ⅳ)
- Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. (Ⅵ)
