113. 0  
Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ)
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅳ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅴ)
113. 1  
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn
- Qul aAAoothu birabbi alfalaqi (Ⅰ)
- Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the Dawn, (Ⅱ)
- Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the Daybreak (Ⅲ)
- Say: ´I take refuge with the Lord of the Daybreak (Ⅳ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ (Ⅴ)
113. 2  
From the mischief of created things;
- Min sharri ma khalaqa (Ⅰ)
- From the evil of created things; (Ⅱ)
- From the evil of that which He created; (Ⅲ)
- from the evil of what He has created, (Ⅳ)
- مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (Ⅴ)
113. 3  
From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;
- Wamin sharri ghasiqin itha waqaba (Ⅰ)
- And from the evil of the night when it cometh on; (Ⅱ)
- From the evil of the darkness when it is intense, (Ⅲ)
- from the evil of darkness when it gathers, (Ⅳ)
- وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ (Ⅴ)
113. 4  
From the mischief of those who practise secret arts;
- Wamin sharri alnnaffathati fee alAAuqadi (Ⅰ)
- And from the evil of those who practice secret arts; (Ⅱ)
- And from the evil of malignant witchcraft, (Ⅲ)
- from the evil of the women who blow on knots, (Ⅳ)
- وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ (Ⅴ)
113. 5  
And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
- Wamin sharri hasidin itha hasada (Ⅰ)
- And from the evil of the envious when he envies." (Ⅱ)
- And from the evil of the envier when he envieth. (Ⅲ)
- from the evil of an envier when he envies.´ (Ⅳ)
- وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ (Ⅴ)
