97. 0  
Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being,
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ)
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅳ)
- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)
97. 1  
Behold, We sent it down on the Night of Power;
- Inna anzalnahu fee laylati alqadri (Ⅰ)
- Verily, We sent it (the Quran) down on the Night of Power! (Ⅱ)
- Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination. (Ⅲ)
- بِّسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ (Ⅳ)
- We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: (Ⅵ)
97. 2  
And what shall teach thee what is the Night of Power?
- Wama adraka ma laylatu alqadri (Ⅰ)
- And what shall make you know what the Night of Power is? (Ⅱ)
- Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! (Ⅲ)
- وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ (Ⅳ)
- And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? (Ⅵ)
97. 3  
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months;
- Laylatu alqadri khayrun min alfi shahrin (Ⅰ)
- The Night of Power is better than a thousand months! (Ⅱ)
- The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. (Ⅲ)
- لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ (Ⅳ)
- The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. (Ⅵ)
97. 4  
in it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, upon every command.
- Tanazzalu almalaikatu waalrroohu feeha biithni rabbihim min kulli amrin (Ⅰ)
- The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord with every decree. (Ⅱ)
- The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. (Ⅲ)
- تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ (Ⅳ)
- Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah´s permission, on every errand: (Ⅵ)
97. 5  
Peace it is, till the rising of dawn.
- Salamun hiya hatta matlaAAi alfajri (Ⅰ)
- Peace it is until the rising of the dawn! (Ⅱ)
- (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn. (Ⅲ)
- سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ (Ⅳ)
- Peace!...This until the rise of morn! (Ⅵ)
