1 ׃19 ויהי כשמע המלך חזקיהו ויקרע את בגדיו ויתכס בשק ויבא בית יהוה
- Lorsque le roi Ézéchias eut entendu cela, il déchira ses vêtements, se couvrit d'un sac, et alla dans la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἤκουσεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Εζεκιας καὶ διέρρηξεν τὰ ἱμάτια ἑαυτου̃ καὶ περιεβάλετο σάκκον καὶ εἰση̃λθεν εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου (Ⅳ) - Quæ cum audisset Ezechias rex, scidit vestimenta sua, et opertus est sacco, ingressusque est domum Domini. (Ⅴ)

2 ׃19 וישלח את אליקים אשר על הבית ושבנא הספר ואת זקני הכהנים מתכסים בשקים אל ישעיהו הנביא בן אמוץ
- Il envoya Éliakim, chef de la maison du roi, Schebna, le secrétaire, et les plus anciens des sacrificateurs, couverts de sacs, vers Ésaïe, le prophète, fils d'Amots. (Ⅱ) - And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Ελιακιμ τὸν οἰκονόμον καὶ Σομναν τὸν γραμματέα καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους τω̃ν ἱερέων περιβεβλημένους σάκκους πρὸς Ησαιαν τὸν προφήτην υἱὸν Αμως (Ⅳ) - Et misit Eliacim præpositum domus, et Sobnam scribam, et senes de sacerdotibus, opertos saccis, ad Isaiam prophetam filium Amos. (Ⅴ)

3 ׃19 ויאמרו אליו כה אמר חזקיהו יום צרה ותוכחה ונאצה היום הזה כי באו בנים עד משבר וכח אין ללדה
- Et ils lui dirent: Ainsi parle Ézéchias: Ce jour est un jour d'angoisse, de châtiment et d'opprobre; car les enfants sont près de sortir du sein maternel, et il n'y a point de force pour l'enfantement. (Ⅱ) - And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃πον πρὸς αὐτόν τάδε λέγει Εζεκιας ἡμέρα θλίψεως καὶ ἐλεγμου̃ καὶ παροργισμου̃ ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη ὅτι ἠ̃λθον υἱοὶ ἕως ὠδίνων καὶ ἰσχὺς οὐκ ἔστιν τη̨̃ τικτούση̨ (Ⅳ) - Qui dixerunt : Hæc dicit Ezechias : Dies tribulationis, et increpationis, et blasphemiæ dies iste : venerunt filii usque ad partum, et vires non habet parturiens. (Ⅴ)

4 ׃19 אולי ישמע יהוה אלהיך את כל דברי רב שקה אשר שלחו מלך אשור אדניו לחרף אלהים חי והוכיח בדברים אשר שמע יהוה אלהיך ונשאת תפלה בעד השארית הנמצאה
- Peut-être l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a-t-il entendu toutes les paroles de Rabschaké, que le roi d'Assyrie, son maître, a envoyé pour insulter au Dieu vivant, et peut-être l'Éternel, ton Dieu, exercera-t-il ses châtiments à cause des paroles qu'il a entendues. Fais donc monter une prière pour le reste qui subsiste encore. (Ⅱ) - It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left. (Ⅲ) - εἴ πως εἰσακούσεται κύριος ὁ θεός σου πάντας τοὺς λόγους Ραψακου ὃν ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν βασιλεὺς 'Ασσυρίων ὁ κύριος αὐτου̃ ὀνειδίζειν θεὸν ζω̃ντα καὶ βλασφημει̃ν ἐν λόγοις οἱ̃ς ἤκουσεν κύριος ὁ θεός σου καὶ λήμψη̨ προσευχὴν περὶ του̃ λείμματος του̃ εὑρισκομένου (Ⅳ) - Si forte audiat Dominus Deus tuus universa verba Rabsacis, quem misit rex Assyriorum dominus suus ut exprobraret Deum viventem et argueret verbis, quæ audivit Dominus Deus tuus : et fac orationem pro reliquiis quæ repertæ sunt. (Ⅴ)

5 ׃19 ויבאו עבדי המלך חזקיהו אל ישעיהו
- Les serviteurs du roi Ézéchias allèrent donc auprès d'Ésaïe. (Ⅱ) - So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠ̃λθον οἱ παι̃δες του̃ βασιλέως Εζεκιου πρὸς Ησαιαν (Ⅳ) - Venerunt ergo servi regis Ezechiæ ad Isaiam. (Ⅴ)

6 ׃19 ויאמר להם ישעיהו כה תאמרון אל אדניכם כה אמר יהוה אל תירא מפני הדברים אשר שמעת אשר גדפו נערי מלך אשור אתי
- Et Ésaïe leur dit: Voici ce que vous direz à votre maître: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Ne t'effraie point des paroles que tu as entendues et par lesquelles m'ont outragé les serviteurs du roi d'Assyrie. (Ⅱ) - And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς Ησαιας τάδε ἐρει̃τε πρὸς τὸν κύριον ὑμω̃ν τάδε λέγει κύριος μὴ φοβηθη̨̃ς ἀπὸ τω̃ν λόγων ὡ̃ν ἤκουσας ὡ̃ν ἐβλασφήμησαν τὰ παιδάρια βασιλέως 'Ασσυρίων (Ⅳ) - Dixitque eis Isaias : Hæc dicetis domino vestro : Hæc dicit Dominus : Noli timere a facie sermonum quos audisti, quibus blasphemaverunt pueri regis Assyriorum me. (Ⅴ)

7 ׃19 הנני נתן בו רוח ושמע שמועה ושב לארצו והפלתיו בחרב בארצו
- Je vais mettre en lui un esprit tel que, sur une nouvelle qu'il recevra, il retournera dans son pays; et je le ferai tomber par l'épée dans son pays. (Ⅱ) - Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumor, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land. (Ⅲ) - ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ δίδωμι ἐν αὐτω̨̃ πνευ̃μα καὶ ἀκούσεται ἀγγελίαν καὶ ἀποστραφήσεται εἰς τὴν γη̃ν αὐτου̃ καὶ καταβαλω̃ αὐτὸν ἐν ῥομφαία̨ ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Ecce ego immittam ei spiritum, et audiet nuntium, et revertetur in terram suam, et dejiciam eum gladio in terra sua.\ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃19 וישב רב שקה וימצא את מלך אשור נלחם על לבנה כי שמע כי נסע מלכיש
- Rabschaké, s'étant retiré, trouva le roi d'Assyrie qui attaquait Libna, car il avait appris son départ de Lakis. (Ⅱ) - So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν Ραψακης καὶ εὑ̃ρεν τὸν βασιλέα 'Ασσυρίων πολεμου̃ντα ἐπὶ Λομνα ὅτι ἤκουσεν ὅτι ἀπη̃ρεν ἀπὸ Λαχις (Ⅳ) - Reversus est ergo Rabsaces, et invenit regem Assyriorum expugnantem Lobnam : audierat enim quod recessisset de Lachis. (Ⅴ)

9 ׃19 וישמע אל תרהקה מלך כוש[1] לאמר הנה יצא להלחם אתך וישב וישלח מלאכים אל חזקיהו לאמר
- Alors le roi d'Assyrie reçut une nouvelle au sujet de Tirhaka, roi d'Éthiopie; on lui dit: Voici, il s'est mis en marche pour te faire la guerre. Et le roi d'Assyrie envoya de nouveau des messagers à Ézéchias, en disant: (Ⅱ) - And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying, (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἤκουσεν περὶ Θαρακα βασιλέως Αἰθιόπων λέγων ἰδοὺ ἐξη̃λθεν πολεμει̃ν μετὰ σου̃ καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ἀγγέλους πρὸς Εζεκιαν λέγων (Ⅳ) - Cumque audisset de Tharaca rege Æthiopiæ, dicentes : Ecce egressus est ut pugnet adversum te : et iret contra eum, misit nuntios ad Ezechiam, dicens : (Ⅴ)

10 ׃19 כה תאמרון אל חזקיהו מלך יהודה לאמר אל ישאך אלהיך אשר אתה בטח בו לאמר לא תנתן ירושלם ביד מלך אשור
- Vous parlerez ainsi à Ézéchias, roi de Juda: Que ton Dieu, auquel tu te confies, ne t'abuse point en disant: Jérusalem ne sera pas livrée entre les mains du roi d'Assyrie. (Ⅱ) - Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. (Ⅲ) - μὴ ἐπαιρέτω σε ὁ θεός σου ἐφ' ὡ̨̃ σὺ πέποιθας ἐπ' αὐτω̨̃ λέγων οὐ μὴ παραδοθη̨̃ Ιερουσαλημ εἰς χει̃ρας βασιλέως 'Ασσυρίων (Ⅳ) - Hæc dicite Ezechiæ regi Juda : Non te seducat Deus tuus in quo habes fiduciam, neque dicas : Non tradetur Jerusalem in manus regis Assyriorum. (Ⅴ)

11 ׃19 הנה אתה שמעת את אשר עשו מלכי אשור לכל הארצות להחרימם ואתה תנצל
- Voici, tu as appris ce qu'ont fait les rois d'Assyrie à tous les pays, et comment ils les ont détruits; et toi, tu serais délivré! (Ⅱ) - Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered? (Ⅲ) - ἰδοὺ σὺ ἤκουσας πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησαν βασιλει̃ς 'Ασσυρίων πάσαις ται̃ς γαι̃ς του̃ ἀναθεματίσαι αὐτάς καὶ σὺ ῥυσθήση̨ (Ⅳ) - Tu enim ipse audisti quæ fecerunt reges Assyriorum universis terris, quomodo vastaverunt eas : num ergo solus poteris liberari ? (Ⅴ)

12 ׃19 ההצילו אתם אלהי הגוים אשר שחתו אבותי את גוזן ואת חרן ורצף ובני עדן אשר בתלאשר
- Les dieux des nations que mes pères ont détruites les ont-ils délivrées, Gozan, Charan, Retseph, et les fils d'Éden qui sont à Telassar? (Ⅱ) - Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar? (Ⅲ) - μὴ ἐξείλαντο αὐτοὺς οἱ θεοὶ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν οὓς διέφθειραν οἱ πατέρες μου τήν τε Γωζαν καὶ τὴν Χαρραν καὶ Ραφες καὶ υἱοὺς Εδεμ τοὺς ἐν Θαεσθεν (Ⅳ) - Numquid liberaverunt dii gentium singulos quos vastaverunt patres mei, Gozan videlicet, et Haran, et Reseph, et filios Eden qui erant in Thelassar ? (Ⅴ)

13 ׃19 איו מלך חמת ומלך ארפד ומלך לעיר ספרוים הנע ועוה
- Où sont le roi de Hamath, le roi d'Arpad, et le roi de la ville de Sepharvaïm, d'Héna et d'Ivva? (Ⅱ) - Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivah? (Ⅲ) - που̃ ἐστιν ὁ βασιλεὺς Αιμαθ καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς Αρφαδ καὶ που̃ ἐστιν Σεπφαρουαιν Ανα καὶ Αυα (Ⅳ) - ubi est rex Emath, et rex Arphad, et rex civitatis Sepharvaim, Ana, et Ava ? (Ⅴ)

14 ׃19 ויקח חזקיהו את הספרים מיד המלאכים ויקראם ויעל בית יהוה ויפרשהו חזקיהו לפני יהוה פ
- Ézéchias prit la lettre de la main des messagers, et la lut. Puis il monta à la maison de l'Éternel, et la déploya devant l'Éternel, (Ⅱ) - And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔλαβεν Εζεκιας τὰ βιβλία ἐκ χειρὸς τω̃ν ἀγγέλων καὶ ἀνέγνω αὐτά καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ ἀνέπτυξεν αὐτὰ Εζεκιας ἐναντίον κυρίου (Ⅳ) - Itaque cum accepisset Ezechias litteras de manu nuntiorum, et legisset eas, ascendit in domum Domini, et expandit eas coram Domino, (Ⅴ)

15 ׃19 ויתפלל חזקיהו לפני יהוה ויאמר יהוה אלהי ישראל ישב הכרבים אתה הוא האלהים לבדך לכל ממלכות הארץ אתה עשית את השמים ואת הארץ
- à qui il adressa cette prière: Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, assis sur les chérubins! C'est toi qui es le seul Dieu de tous les royaumes de la terre, c'est toi qui as fait les cieux et la terre. (Ⅱ) - And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubim, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριε ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπὶ τω̃ν χερουβιν σὺ εἰ̃ ὁ θεὸς μόνος ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς βασιλείαις τη̃ς γη̃ς σὺ ἐποίησας τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅳ) - et oravit in conspectu ejus, dicens : Domine Deus Israël, qui sedes super cherubim, tu es Deus solus regum omnium terræ : tu fecisti cælum et terram. (Ⅴ)

16 ׃19 הטה יהוה אזנך ושמע פקח יהוה עיניך וראה ושמע את דברי סנחריב אשר שלחו לחרף אלהים חי
- Éternel! incline ton oreille, et écoute. Éternel! ouvre tes yeux, et regarde. Entends les paroles de Sanchérib, qui a envoyé Rabschaké pour insulter au Dieu vivant. (Ⅱ) - LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. (Ⅲ) - κλι̃νον κύριε τὸ οὐ̃ς σου καὶ ἄκουσον ἄνοιξον κύριε τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου καὶ ἰδὲ καὶ ἄκουσον τοὺς λόγους Σενναχηριμ οὓς ἀπέστειλεν ὀνειδίζειν θεὸν ζω̃ντα (Ⅳ) - Inclina aurem tuam, et audi : aperi, Domine, oculos tuos, et vide : audi omnia verba Sennacherib, qui misit ut exprobraret nobis Deum viventem. (Ⅴ)

17 ׃19 אמנם יהוה החריבו מלכי אשור את הגוים ואת ארצם
- Il est vrai, ô Éternel! que les rois d'Assyrie ont détruit les nations et ravagé leurs pays, (Ⅱ) - Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands, (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἀληθεία̨ κύριε ἠρήμωσαν βασιλει̃ς 'Ασσυρίων τὰ ἔθνη (Ⅳ) - Vere, Domine, dissipaverunt reges Assyriorum gentes, et terras omnium. (Ⅴ)

18 ׃19 ונתנו את אלהיהם באש כי לא אלהים המה כי אם מעשה ידי אדם עץ ואבן ויאבדום
- et qu'ils ont jeté leurs dieux dans le feu; mais ce n'étaient point des dieux, c'étaient des ouvrages de mains d'homme, du bois et de la pierre; et ils les ont anéantis. (Ⅱ) - And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔδωκαν τοὺς θεοὺς αὐτω̃ν εἰς τὸ πυ̃ρ ὅτι οὐ θεοί εἰσιν ἀλλ' ἢ ἔργα χειρω̃ν ἀνθρώπων ξύλα καὶ λίθοι καὶ ἀπώλεσαν αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - Et miserunt deos eorum in ignem : non enim erant dii, sed opera manuum hominum, ex ligno et lapide : et perdiderunt eos. (Ⅴ)

19 ׃19 ועתה יהוה אלהינו הושיענו נא מידו וידעו כל ממלכות הארץ כי אתה יהוה אלהים לבדך ס
- Maintenant, Éternel, notre Dieu! délivre-nous de la main de Sanchérib, et que tous les royaumes de la terre sachent que toi seul es Dieu, ô Éternel! (Ⅱ) - Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only. (Ⅲ) - καὶ νυ̃ν κύριε ὁ θεὸς ἡμω̃ν σω̃σον ἡμα̃ς ἐκ χειρὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ γνώσονται πα̃σαι αἱ βασιλει̃αι τη̃ς γη̃ς ὅτι σὺ κύριος ὁ θεὸς μόνος (Ⅳ) - Nunc igitur Domine Deus noster, salvos nos fac de manu ejus, ut sciant omnia regna terræ quia tu es Dominus Deus solus. (Ⅴ)

20 ׃19 וישלח ישעיהו בן אמוץ אל חזקיהו לאמר כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל אשר התפללת אלי אל סנחרב מלך אשור שמעתי
- Alors Ésaïe, fils d'Amots, envoya dire à Ézéchias: Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: J'ai entendu la prière que tu m'as adressée au sujet de Sanchérib, roi d'Assyrie. (Ⅱ) - Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Ησαιας υἱὸς Αμως πρὸς Εζεκιαν λέγων τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς τω̃ν δυνάμεων ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἃ προσηύξω πρός με περὶ Σενναχηριμ βασιλέως 'Ασσυρίων ἤκουσα (Ⅳ) - Misit autem Isaias filius Amos ad Ezechiam, dicens : Hæc dicit Dominus Deus Israël : Quæ deprecatus es me super Sennacherib rege Assyriorum, audivi.\ (Ⅴ)

21 ׃19 זה הדבר אשר דבר יהוה עליו בזה לך לעגה לך בתולת בת ציון אחריך ראש הניעה בת ירושלם
- Voici la parole que l'Éternel a prononcée contre lui: Elle te méprise, elle se moque de toi, La vierge, fille de Sion; Elle hoche la tête après toi, La fille de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee. (Ⅲ) - οὑ̃τος ὁ λόγος ὃν ἐλάλησεν κύριος ἐπ' αὐτόν ἐξουδένησέν σε καὶ ἐμυκτήρισέν σε παρθένος θυγάτηρ Σιων ἐπὶ σοὶ κεφαλὴν αὐτη̃ς ἐκίνησεν θυγάτηρ Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅳ) - Iste est sermo, quem locutus est Dominus de eo : [Sprevit te, et subsannavit te, virgo filia Sion :/ post tergum tuum caput movit, filia Jerusalem./ (Ⅴ)

22 ׃19 את מי חרפת וגדפת ועל מי הרימות קול ותשא מרום עיניך על קדוש ישראל
- Qui as-tu insulté et outragé? Contre qui as-tu élevé la voix? Tu as porté tes yeux en haut Sur le Saint d'Israël! (Ⅱ) - Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel. (Ⅲ) - τίνα ὠνείδισας καὶ ἐβλασφήμησας καὶ ἐπὶ τίνα ὕψωσας φωνήν καὶ ἠ̃ρας εἰς ὕψος τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου εἰς τὸν ἅγιον του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - Cui exprobrasti, et quem blasphemasti ?/ contra quem exaltasti vocem tuam, et elevasti in excelsum oculos tuos ?/ Contra Sanctum Israël./ (Ⅴ)

23 ׃19 ביד מלאכיך חרפת אדני ותאמר *ברכב **ברב רכבי אני עליתי מרום הרים ירכתי לבנון ואכרת קומת ארזיו מבחור ברשיו ואבואה מלון קצה[q] יער כרמלו
- Par tes messagers tu as insulté le Seigneur, Et tu as dit: Avec la multitude de mes chars, J'ai gravi le sommet des montagnes, Les extrémités du Liban; Je couperai les plus élevés de ses cèdres, Les plus beaux de ses cyprès, Et j'atteindrai sa dernière cime, Sa forêt semblable à un verger; (Ⅱ) - By thy messengers thou hast reproached the LORD, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel. (Ⅲ) - ἐν χειρὶ ἀγγέλων σου ὠνείδισας κύριον καὶ εἰ̃πας ἐν τω̨̃ πλήθει τω̃ν ἁρμάτων μου ἐγὼ ἀναβήσομαι εἰς ὕψος ὀρέων μηροὺς του̃ Λιβάνου καὶ ἔκοψα τὸ μέγεθος τη̃ς κέδρου αὐτου̃ τὰ ἐκλεκτὰ κυπαρίσσων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἠ̃λθον εἰς μελον τέλους αὐτου̃ δρυμου̃ Καρμήλου αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Per manum servorum tuorum exprobrasti Domino, et dixisti :/ In multitudine curruum meorum ascendi excelsa montium in summitate Libani,/ et succidi sublimes cedros ejus, et electas abietes illius./ Et ingressus sum usque ad terminos ejus,/ et saltum Carmeli ejus (Ⅴ)

24 ׃19 אני קרתי ושתיתי מים זרים ואחרב בכף פעמי כל יארי מצור
- J'ai creusé, et j'ai bu des eaux étrangères, Et je tarirai avec la plante de mes pieds Tous les fleuves de l'Égypte. (Ⅱ) - I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places. (Ⅲ) - ἐγὼ ἔψυξα καὶ ἔπιον ὕδατα ἀλλότρια καὶ ἐξηρήμωσα τω̨̃ ἴχνει του̃ ποδός μου πάντας ποταμοὺς περιοχη̃ς (Ⅳ) - ego succidi./ Et bibi aquas alienas, et siccavi vestigiis pedum meorum omnes aquas clausas./ (Ⅴ)

25 ׃19 הלא שמעת למרחוק אתה עשיתי למימי קדם ויצרתיה עתה הביאתיה ותהי להשות גלים נצים ערים בצרות
- N'as-tu pas appris que j'ai préparé ces choses de loin, Et que je les ai résolues dès les temps anciens? Maintenant j'ai permis qu'elles s'accomplissent, Et que tu réduisisses des villes fortes en monceaux de ruines. (Ⅱ) - Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps. (Ⅲ) - ἔπλασα αὐτήν νυ̃ν ἤγαγον αὐτήν καὶ ἐγενήθη εἰς ἐπάρσεις ἀποικεσιω̃ν μαχίμων πόλεις ὀχυράς (Ⅳ) - Numquid non audisti quid ab initio fecerim ?/ ex diebus antiquis plasmavi illud, et nunc adduxi :/ eruntque in ruinam collium pugnantium civitates munitæ./ (Ⅴ)

26 ׃19 וישביהן קצרי יד חתו ויבשו היו עשב שדה וירק דשא חציר גגות ושדפה לפני קמה
- Leurs habitants sont impuissants, Épouvantés et confus; Ils sont comme l'herbe des champs et la tendre verdure, Comme le gazon des toits Et le blé qui sèche avant la formation de sa tige. (Ⅱ) - Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the house tops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οἱ ἐνοικου̃ντες ἐν αὐται̃ς ἠσθένησαν τη̨̃ χειρί ἔπτηξαν καὶ κατη̨σχύνθησαν ἐγένοντο χόρτος ἀγρου̃ ἢ χλωρὰ βοτάνη χλόη δωμάτων καὶ πάτημα ἀπέναντι ἑστηκότος (Ⅳ) - Et qui sedent in eis, humiles manu, contremuerunt et confusi sunt :/ facti sunt velut fœnum agri, et virens herba tectorum,/ quæ arefacta est antequam veniret ad maturitatem./ (Ⅴ)

27 ׃19 ושבתך וצאתך ובאך ידעתי ואת התרגזך אלי
- Mais je sais quand tu t'assieds, quand tu sors et quand tu entres, Et quand tu es furieux contre moi. (Ⅱ) - But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὴν καθέδραν σου καὶ τὴν ἔξοδόν σου καὶ τὴν εἴσοδόν σου ἔγνων καὶ τὸν θυμόν σου ἐπ' ἐμέ (Ⅳ) - Habitaculum tuum, et egressum tuum, et introitum tuum, et viam tuam ego præscivi,/ et furorem tuum contra me./ (Ⅴ)

28 ׃19 יען התרגזך אלי ושאננך עלה באזני ושמתי חחי באפך ומתגי בשפתיך והשבתיך בדרך אשר באת בה
- Parce que tu es furieux contre moi, Et que ton arrogance est montée à mes oreilles, Je mettrai ma boucle à tes narines et mon mors entre tes lèvres, Et je te ferai retourner par le chemin par lequel tu es venu. (Ⅱ) - Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest. (Ⅲ) - διὰ τὸ ὀργισθη̃ναί σε ἐπ' ἐμὲ καὶ τὸ στρη̃νός σου ἀνέβη ἐν τοι̃ς ὠσίν μου καὶ θήσω τὰ ἄγκιστρά μου ἐν τοι̃ς μυκτη̃ρσίν σου καὶ χαλινὸν ἐν τοι̃ς χείλεσίν σου καὶ ἀποστρέψω σε ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ ἡ̨̃ ἠ̃λθες ἐν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅳ) - Insanisti in me, et superbia tua ascendit in aures meas :/ ponam itaque circulum in naribus tuis, et camum in labiis tuis,/ et reducam te in viam per quam venisti./ (Ⅴ)

29 ׃19 וזה לך האות אכול השנה ספיח ובשנה השנית סחיש ובשנה השלישית זרעו וקצרו ונטעו כרמים ואכלו פרים
- Que ceci soit un signe pour toi: On a mangé une année le produit du grain tombé, et une seconde année ce qui croît de soi-même; mais la troisième année, vous sèmerez, vous moissonnerez, vous planterez des vignes, et vous en mangerez le fruit. (Ⅱ) - And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof. (Ⅲ) - καὶ του̃τό σοι τὸ σημει̃ον φάγη̨ του̃τον τὸν ἐνιαυτὸν αὐτόματα καὶ τω̨̃ ἔτει τω̨̃ δευτέρω̨ τὰ ἀνατέλλοντα καὶ ἔτι τρίτω̨ σπορὰ καὶ ἄμητος καὶ φυτεία ἀμπελώνων καὶ φάγεσθε τὸν καρπὸν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Tibi autem, Ezechia, hoc erit signum :/ comede hoc anno quæ repereris :/ in secundo autem anno, quæ sponte nascuntur :/ porro in tertio anno seminate et metite :/ plantate vineas, et comedite fructum earum./ (Ⅴ)

30 ׃19 ויספה פליטת בית יהודה הנשארה שרש למטה ועשה פרי למעלה
- Ce qui aura été sauvé de la maison de Juda, ce qui sera resté poussera encore des racines par-dessous, et portera du fruit par-dessus. (Ⅱ) - And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. (Ⅲ) - καὶ προσθήσει τὸ διασεσω̨σμένον οἴκου Ιουδα τὸ ὑπολειφθὲν ῥίζαν κάτω καὶ ποιήσει καρπὸν ἄνω (Ⅳ) - Et quodcumque reliquum fuerit de domo Juda, mittet radicem deorsum,/ et faciet fructum sursum./ (Ⅴ)

31 ׃19 כי מירושלם תצא שארית ופליטה מהר ציון קנאת יהוה **צבאות[a] תעשה זאת ס
- Car de Jérusalem il sortira un reste, et de la montagne de Sion des réchappés. Voilà ce que fera le zèle de l'Éternel des armées. (Ⅱ) - For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ ἐξελεύσεται κατάλειμμα καὶ ἀνασω̨ζόμενος ἐξ ὄρους Σιων ὁ ζη̃λος κυρίου τω̃ν δυνάμεων ποιήσει του̃το (Ⅳ) - De Jerusalem quippe egredientur reliquiæ,/ et quod salvetur de monte Sion :/ zelus Domini exercituum faciet hoc./ (Ⅴ)

32 ׃19 לכן כה אמר יהוה אל מלך אשור לא יבא אל העיר הזאת ולא יורה שם חץ ולא יקדמנה מגן ולא ישפך עליה סללה
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel sur le roi d'Assyrie: Il n'entrera point dans cette ville, Il n'y lancera point de traits, Il ne lui présentera point de boucliers, Et il n'élèvera point de retranchements contre elle. (Ⅱ) - Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it. (Ⅲ) - οὐχ οὕτως τάδε λέγει κύριος πρὸς βασιλέα 'Ασσυρίων οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καὶ οὐ τοξεύσει ἐκει̃ βέλος καὶ οὐ προφθάσει αὐτὴν θυρεός καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐκχέη̨ πρὸς αὐτὴν πρόσχωμα (Ⅳ) - Quam ob rem hæc dicit Dominus de rege Assyriorum :/ Non ingredietur urbem hanc, nec mittet in eam sagittam,/ nec occupabit eam clypeus, nec circumdabit eam munitio./ (Ⅴ)

33 ׃19 בדרך אשר יבא בה ישוב ואל העיר הזאת לא יבא נאם יהוה
- Il s'en retournera par le chemin par lequel il est venu, Et il n'entrera point dans cette ville, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ ἡ̨̃ ἠ̃λθεν ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ἀποστραφήσεται καὶ εἰς τὴν πόλιν ταύτην οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται λέγει κύριος (Ⅳ) - Per viam qua venit, revertetur :/ et civitatem hanc non ingredietur, dicit Dominus./ (Ⅴ)

34 ׃19 וגנותי אל העיר הזאת להושיעה למעני ולמען דוד עבדי
- Je protégerai cette ville pour la sauver, A cause de moi, et à cause de David, mon serviteur. (Ⅱ) - For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ὑπερασπιω̃ ὑπὲρ τη̃ς πόλεως ταύτης δι' ἐμὲ καὶ διὰ Δαυιδ τὸν δου̃λόν μου (Ⅳ) - Protegamque urbem hanc, et salvabo eam propter me,/ et propter David servum meum.]\ (Ⅴ)

35 ׃19 ויהי בלילה ההוא ויצא מלאך יהוה ויך במחנה אשור מאה שמונים וחמשה אלף וישכימו בבקר והנה כלם פגרים מתים
- Cette nuit-là, l'ange de l'Éternel sortit, et frappa dans le camp des Assyriens cent quatre-vingt-cinq mille hommes. Et quand on se leva le matin, voici, c'étaient tous des corps morts. (Ⅱ) - And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ἕως νυκτὸς καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν ἄγγελος κυρίου καὶ ἐπάταξεν ἐν τη̨̃ παρεμβολη̨̃ τω̃ν 'Ασσυρίων ἑκατὸν ὀγδοήκοντα πέντε χιλιάδας καὶ ὤρθρισαν τὸ πρωί καὶ ἰδοὺ πάντες σώματα νεκρά (Ⅳ) - Factum est igitur in nocte illa, venit angelus Domini, et percussit in castris Assyriorum centum octoginta quinque millia. Cumque diluculo surrexisset, vidit omnia corpora mortuorum : et recedens abiit, (Ⅴ)

36 ׃19 ויסע וילך וישב סנחריב מלך אשור וישב בנינוה
- Alors Sanchérib, roi d'Assyrie, leva son camp, partit et s'en retourna; et il resta à Ninive. (Ⅱ) - So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπη̃ρεν καὶ ἐπορεύθη καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν Σενναχηριμ βασιλεὺς 'Ασσυρίων καὶ ὤ̨κησεν ἐν Νινευη (Ⅳ) - et reversus est Sennacherib rex Assyriorum, et mansit in Ninive. (Ⅴ)

37 ׃19 ויהי הוא משתחוה בית נסרך אלהיו ואדרמלך ושראצר **בניו[a] הכהו בחרב והמה נמלטו ארץ אררט וימלך אסר חדן בנו תחתיו פ
- Or, comme il était prosterné dans la maison de Nisroc, son dieu, Adrammélec et Scharetser, ses fils, le frappèrent avec l'épée, et s'enfuirent au pays d'Ararat. Et Ésar Haddon, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ) - And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτου̃ προσκυνου̃ντος ἐν οἴκω̨ Νεσεραχ θεου̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ Αδραμελεχ καὶ Σαρασαρ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτου̃ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὸν ἐν μαχαίρα̨ καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐσώθησαν εἰς γη̃ν Αραρατ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ασορδαν ὁ υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Cumque adoraret in templo Nesroch deum suum, Adramelech et Sarasar filii ejus percusserunt eum gladio, fugeruntque in terram Armeniorum : et regnavit Asarhaddon filius ejus pro eo. (Ⅴ)
