1 ׃7 כרפאי לישראל ונגלה עון אפרים ורעות שמרון כי פעלו שקר וגנב יבוא פשט גדוד בחוץ
- Lorsque je voulais guérir Israël, L'iniquité d'Éphraïm et la méchanceté de Samarie se sont révélées, Car ils ont agi frauduleusement; Le voleur est arrivé, la bande s'est répandue au dehors. (Ⅱ) - When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without. (Ⅲ) - ἐν τω̨̃ ἰάσασθαί με τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀποκαλυφθήσεται ἡ ἀδικία Εφραιμ καὶ ἡ κακία Σαμαρείας ὅτι ἠργάσαντο ψευδη̃ καὶ κλέπτης πρὸς αὐτὸν εἰσελεύσεται ἐκδιδύσκων λη̨στὴς ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Cum sanare vellem Israël,/ revelata est iniquitas Ephraim,/ et malitia Samariæ,/ quia operati sunt mendacium ;/ et fur ingressus est spolians,/ latrunculus foris./ (Ⅴ)

2 ׃7 ובל יאמרו ללבבם כל רעתם זכרתי עתה סבבום מעלליהם נגד פני היו
- Ils ne se disent pas dans leur coeur Que je me souviens de toute leur méchanceté; Maintenant leurs oeuvres les entourent, Elles sont devant ma face. (Ⅱ) - And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face. (Ⅲ) - ὅπως συνά̨δωσιν ὡς συνά̨δοντες τη̨̃ καρδία̨ αὐτω̃ν πάσας τὰς κακίας αὐτω̃ν ἐμνήσθην νυ̃ν ἐκύκλωσεν αὐτοὺς τὰ διαβούλια αὐτω̃ν ἀπέναντι του̃ προσώπου μου ἐγένοντο (Ⅳ) - Et ne forte dicant in cordibus suis,/ omnem malitiam eorum me recordatum,/ nunc circumdederunt eos adinventiones suæ :/ coram facie mea factæ sunt./ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃7 ברעתם ישמחו מלך ובכחשיהם שרים
- Ils réjouissent le roi par leur méchanceté, Et les chefs par leurs mensonges. (Ⅱ) - They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies. (Ⅲ) - ἐν ται̃ς κακίαις αὐτω̃ν εὔφραναν βασιλει̃ς καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς ψεύδεσιν αὐτω̃ν ἄρχοντας (Ⅳ) - In malitia sua lætificaverunt regem,/ et in mendaciis suis principes./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃7 כלם מנאפים כמו תנור בערה מאפה ישבות מעיר מלוש בצק עד חמצתו
- Ils sont tous adultères, Semblables à un four chauffé par le boulanger: Il cesse d'attiser le feu Depuis qu'il a pétri la pâte jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit levée. (Ⅱ) - They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened. (Ⅲ) - πάντες μοιχεύοντες ὡς κλίβανος καιόμενος εἰς πέψιν κατακαύματος ἀπὸ τη̃ς φλογός ἀπὸ φυράσεως στέατος ἕως του̃ ζυμωθη̃ναι αὐτό (Ⅳ) - Omnes adulterantes,/ quasi clibanus succensus a coquente ;/ quievit paululum civitas a commistione fermenti,/ donec fermentaretur totum./ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃7 יום מלכנו החלו שרים חמת מיין משך ידו את לצצים
- Au jour de notre roi, Les chefs se rendent malades par les excès du vin; Le roi tend la main aux moqueurs. (Ⅱ) - In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners. (Ⅲ) - αἱ ἡμέραι τω̃ν βασιλέων ὑμω̃ν ἤρξαντο οἱ ἄρχοντες θυμου̃σθαι ἐξ οἴνου ἐξέτεινεν τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ μετὰ λοιμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Dies regis nostri : cœperunt principes furere a vino ;/ extendit manum suam cum illusoribus./ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃7 כי קרבו כתנור לבם בארבם כל הלילה ישן אפהם בקר הוא בער כאש להבה
- Ils appliquent aux embûches leur coeur pareil à un four; Toute la nuit dort leur boulanger, Et au matin le four brûle comme un feu embrasé. (Ⅱ) - For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire. (Ⅲ) - διότι ἀνεκαύθησαν ὡς κλίβανος αἱ καρδίαι αὐτω̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ καταράσσειν αὐτούς ὅλην τὴν νύκτα ὕπνου Εφραιμ ἐνεπλήσθη πρωὶ ἐγενήθη ἀνεκαύθη ὡς πυρὸς φέγγος (Ⅳ) - Quia applicuerunt quasi clibanum cor suum,/ cum insidiaretur eis ;/ tota nocte dormivit coquens eos :/ mane ipse succensus quasi ignis flammæ./ (Ⅴ)

7 ׃7 כלם יחמו כתנור ואכלו את שפטיהם כל מלכיהם נפלו אין קרא בהם אלי
- Ils sont tous ardents comme un four, Et ils dévorent leurs juges; Tous leurs rois tombent: Aucun d'eux ne m'invoque. (Ⅱ) - They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me. (Ⅲ) - πάντες ἐθερμάνθησαν ὡς κλίβανος καὶ κατέφαγον τοὺς κριτὰς αὐτω̃ν πάντες οἱ βασιλει̃ς αὐτω̃ν ἔπεσαν οὐκ ἠ̃ν ὁ ἐπικαλούμενος ἐν αὐτοι̃ς πρός με (Ⅳ) - Omnes calefacti sunt quasi clibanus,/ et devoraverunt judices suos :/ omnes reges eorum ceciderunt ;/ non est qui clamat in eis ad me./ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃7 אפרים בעמים הוא יתבולל אפרים היה עגה בלי הפוכה
- Éphraïm se mêle avec les peuples, Éphraïm est un gâteau qui n'a pas été retourné. (Ⅱ) - Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned. (Ⅲ) - Εφραιμ ἐν τοι̃ς λαοι̃ς αὐτου̃ συνανεμείγνυτο Εφραιμ ἐγένετο ἐγκρυφίας οὐ μεταστρεφόμενος (Ⅳ) - Ephraim in populis ipse commiscebatur ;/ Ephraim factus est subcinericius panis, qui non reversatur./ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃7 אכלו זרים כחו והוא לא ידע גם שיבה זרקה בו והוא לא ידע
- Des étrangers consument sa force, Et il ne s'en doute pas; La vieillesse s'empare de lui, Et il ne s'en doute pas. (Ⅱ) - Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not. (Ⅲ) - κατέφαγον ἀλλότριοι τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτου̃ αὐτὸς δὲ οὐκ ἐπέγνω καὶ πολιαὶ ἐξήνθησαν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ αὐτὸς οὐκ ἔγνω (Ⅳ) - Comederunt alieni robur ejus, et ipse nescivit ;/ sed et cani effusi sunt in eo, et ipse ignoravit./ (Ⅴ)

10 ׃7 וענה גאון ישראל בפניו ולא שבו אל יהוה אלהיהם ולא בקשהו בכל זאת
- L'orgueil d'Israël témoigne contre lui; Ils ne reviennent pas à l'Éternel, leur Dieu, Et ils ne le cherchent pas, malgré tout cela. (Ⅱ) - And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ταπεινωθήσεται ἡ ὕβρις Ισραηλ εἰς πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἐπέστρεψαν πρὸς κύριον τὸν θεὸν αὐτω̃ν καὶ οὐκ ἐξεζήτησαν αὐτὸν ἐν πα̃σι τούτοις (Ⅳ) - Et humiliabitur superbia Israël in facie ejus ;/ nec reversi sunt ad Dominum Deum suum,/ et non quæsierunt eum in omnibus his./ (Ⅴ)

11 ׃7 ויהי אפרים כיונה פותה אין לב מצרים קראו אשור הלכו
- Éphraïm est comme une colombe stupide, sans intelligence; Ils implorent l'Égypte, ils vont en Assyrie. (Ⅱ) - Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠ̃ν Εφραιμ ὡς περιστερὰ ἄνους οὐκ ἔχουσα καρδίαν Αἴγυπτον ἐπεκαλει̃το καὶ εἰς 'Ασσυρίους ἐπορεύθησαν (Ⅳ) - Et factus est Ephraim quasi columba seducta non habens cor./ Ægyptum invocabant ; ad Assyrios abierunt./ (Ⅴ)

12 ׃7 כאשר ילכו אפרוש עליהם רשתי כעוף השמים אורידם איסרם כשמע לעדתם ס
- S'ils partent, j'étendrai sur eux mon filet, Je les précipiterai comme les oiseaux du ciel; Je les châtierai, comme ils en ont été avertis dans leur assemblée. (Ⅱ) - When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard. (Ⅲ) - καθὼς ἂν πορεύωνται ἐπιβαλω̃ ἐπ' αὐτοὺς τὸ δίκτυόν μου καθὼς τὰ πετεινὰ του̃ οὐρανου̃ κατάξω αὐτούς παιδεύσω αὐτοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ ἀκοη̨̃ τη̃ς θλίψεως αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Et cum profecti fuerint,/ expandam super eos rete meum :/ quasi volucrem cæli detraham eos ;/ cædam eos secundum auditionem cœtus eorum./ (Ⅴ)

13 ׃7 אוי להם כי נדדו ממני שד להם כי פשעו בי ואנכי אפדם והמה דברו עלי כזבים
- Malheur à eux, parce qu'ils me fuient! Ruine sur eux, parce qu'ils me sont infidèles! Je voudrais les sauver, Mais ils disent contre moi des paroles mensongères. (Ⅱ) - Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me. (Ⅲ) - οὐαὶ αὐτοι̃ς ὅτι ἀπεπήδησαν ἀπ' ἐμου̃ δείλαιοί εἰσιν ὅτι ἠσέβησαν εἰς ἐμέ ἐγὼ δὲ ἐλυτρωσάμην αὐτούς αὐτοὶ δὲ κατελάλησαν κατ' ἐμου̃ ψεύδη (Ⅳ) - Væ eis, quoniam recesserunt a me !/ vastabuntur, quia prævaricati sunt in me,/ et ego redemi eos,/ et ipsi locuti sunt contra me mendacia./ (Ⅴ)

14 ׃7 ולא זעקו אלי בלבם כי יילילו על משכבותם על דגן ותירוש יתגוררו יסורו בי
- Ils ne crient pas vers moi dans leur coeur, Mais ils se lamentent sur leur couche; Ils se rassemblent pour avoir du blé et du moût, Et ils s'éloignent de moi. (Ⅱ) - And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οὐκ ἐβόησαν πρός με αἱ καρδίαι αὐτω̃ν ἀλλ' ἢ ὠλόλυζον ἐν ται̃ς κοίταις αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ σίτω̨ καὶ οἴνω̨ κατετέμνοντο ἐπαιδεύθησαν ἐν ἐμοί (Ⅳ) - Et non clamaverunt ad me in corde suo,/ sed ululabant in cubilibus suis :/ super triticum et vinum ruminabant ;/ recesserunt a me./ (Ⅴ)

15 ׃7 ואני יסרתי חזקתי זרועתם ואלי יחשבו רע
- Je les ai châtiés, j'ai fortifié leurs bras; Et ils méditent le mal contre moi. (Ⅱ) - Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me. (Ⅲ) - κἀγὼ κατίσχυσα τοὺς βραχίονας αὐτω̃ν καὶ εἰς ἐμὲ ἐλογίσαντο πονηρά (Ⅳ) - Et ego erudivi eos, et confortavi brachia eorum,/ et in me cogitaverunt malitiam./ (Ⅴ)

16 ׃7 ישובו לא על היו כקשת רמיה יפלו בחרב שריהם מזעם לשונם זו לעגם בארץ מצרים
- Ce n'est pas au Très Haut qu'ils retournent; Ils sont comme un arc trompeur. Leurs chefs tomberont par l'épée, A cause de l'insolence de leur langue. C'est ce qui les rendra un objet de risée dans le pays d'Égypte. (Ⅱ) - They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt. (Ⅲ) - ἀπεστράφησαν εἰς οὐθέν ἐγένοντο ὡς τόξον ἐντεταμένον πεσου̃νται ἐν ῥομφαία̨ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτω̃ν δι' ἀπαιδευσίαν γλώσσης αὐτω̃ν οὑ̃τος ὁ φαυλισμὸς αὐτω̃ν ἐν γη̨̃ Αἰγύπτω̨ (Ⅳ) - Reversi sunt ut essent absque jugo ;/ facti sunt quasi arcus dolosus :/ cadent in gladio principes eorum, a furore linguæ suæ./ Ista subsannatio eorum in terra Ægypti.] (Ⅴ)
