Petite a Domino pluviam in tempore serotino,/ et Dominus faciet nives :/ et pluviam imbris dabit eis,/ singulis herbam in agro./
- Demandez à l'Éternel la pluie, la pluie du printemps! L'Éternel produira des éclairs, Et il vous enverra une abondante pluie, Il donnera à chacun de l'herbe dans son champ. (Ⅱ) - Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. (Ⅲ) - αἰτει̃σθε ὑετὸν παρὰ κυρίου καθ' ὥραν πρόιμον καὶ ὄψιμον κύριος ἐποίησεν φαντασίας καὶ ὑετὸν χειμερινὸν δώσει αὐτοι̃ς ἑκάστω̨ βοτάνην ἐν ἀγρω̨̃ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃10 שאלו מיהוה מטר בעת מלקוש יהוה עשה חזיזים ומטר גשם יתן להם לאיש עשב בשדה (Ⅴ)

Quia simulacra locuta sunt inutile,/ et divini viderunt mendacium :/ et somniatores locuti sunt frustra,/ vane consolabantur :/ idcirco abducti sunt quasi grex :/ affligentur, quia non est eis pastor./
- Car les théraphim ont des paroles de néant, Les devins prophétisent des faussetés, Les songes mentent et consolent par la vanité. C'est pourquoi ils sont errants comme un troupeau, Ils sont malheureux parce qu'il n'y a point de pasteur. (Ⅱ) - For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd. (Ⅲ) - διότι οἱ ἀποφθεγγόμενοι ἐλάλησαν κόπους καὶ οἱ μάντεις ὁράσεις ψευδει̃ς καὶ τὰ ἐνύπνια ψευδη̃ ἐλάλουν μάταια παρεκάλουν διὰ του̃το ἐξήρθησαν ὡς πρόβατα καὶ ἐκακώθησαν διότι οὐκ ἠ̃ν ἴασις (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃10 כי התרפים דברו און והקוסמים חזו שקר וחלמות השוא[U] ידברו הבל ינחמון על כן נסעו כמו צאן יענו כי אין רעה פ (Ⅴ)

Super pastores iratus est furor meus,/ et super hircos visitabo :/ quia visitavit Dominus exercituum gregem suum, domum Juda,/ et posuit eos quasi equum gloriæ suæ in bello./
- Ma colère s'est enflammée contre les pasteurs, Et je châtierai les boucs; Car l'Éternel des armées visite son troupeau, la maison de Juda, Et il en fera comme son cheval de gloire dans la bataille; (Ⅱ) - Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle. (Ⅲ) - ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας παρωξύνθη ὁ θυμός μου καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀμνοὺς ἐπισκέψομαι καὶ ἐπισκέψεται κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ τὸ ποίμνιον αὐτου̃ τὸν οἰ̃κον Ιουδα καὶ τάξει αὐτοὺς ὡς ἵππον εὐπρεπη̃ αὐτου̃ ἐν πολέμω̨ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃10 על הרעים חרה אפי ועל העתודים אפקוד כי פקד יהוה צבאות את עדרו את בית יהודה ושם אותם כסוס הודו במלחמה (Ⅴ)

Ex ipso angulus, ex ipso paxillus,/ ex ipso arcus prælii,/ ex ipso egredietur omnis exactor simul./
- De lui sortira l'angle, de lui le clou, de lui l'arc de guerre; De lui sortiront tous les chefs ensemble. (Ⅱ) - Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐξ αὐτου̃ ἐπέβλεψεν καὶ ἐξ αὐτου̃ ἔταξεν καὶ ἐξ αὐτου̃ τόξον ἐν θυμω̨̃ ἐξ αὐτου̃ ἐξελεύσεται πα̃ς ὁ ἐξελαύνων ἐν τω̨̃ αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃10 ממנו פנה ממנו יתד ממנו קשת מלחמה ממנו יצא כל נוגש יחדו (Ⅴ)

Et erunt quasi fortes conculcantes lutum viarum in prælio,/ et bellabunt, quia Dominus cum eis :/ et confundentur ascensores equorum./
- Ils seront comme des héros foulant dans la bataille la boue des rues; Ils combattront, parce que l'Éternel sera avec eux; Et ceux qui seront montés sur des chevaux seront couverts de honte. (Ⅱ) - And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσονται ὡς μαχηταὶ πατου̃ντες πηλὸν ἐν ται̃ς ὁδοι̃ς ἐν πολέμω̨ καὶ παρατάξονται διότι κύριος μετ' αὐτω̃ν καὶ καταισχυνθήσονται ἀναβάται ἵππων (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃10 והיו כגברים בוסים בטיט חוצות במלחמה ונלחמו כי יהוה עמם והבישו רכבי סוסים (Ⅴ)

Et confortabo domum Juda,/ et domum Joseph salvabo :/ et convertam eos, quia miserebor eorum :/ et erunt sicut fuerunt quando non projeceram eos :/ ego enim Dominus Deus eorum, et exaudiam eos./
- Je fortifierai la maison de Juda, Et je délivrerai la maison de Joseph; Je les ramènerai, car j'ai compassion d'eux, Et ils seront comme si je ne les avais pas rejetés; Car je suis l'Éternel, leur Dieu, et je les exaucerai. (Ⅱ) - And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ κατισχύσω τὸν οἰ̃κον Ιουδα καὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον Ιωσηφ σώσω καὶ κατοικιω̃ αὐτούς ὅτι ἠγάπησα αὐτούς καὶ ἔσονται ὃν τρόπον οὐκ ἀπεστρεψάμην αὐτούς διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐπακούσομαι αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃10 וגברתי את בית יהודה ואת בית יוסף אושיע והושבותים כי רחמתים והיו כאשר לא זנחתים כי אני יהוה אלהיהם ואענם (Ⅴ)

Et erunt quasi fortes Ephraim,/ et lætabitur cor eorum quasi a vino :/ et filii eorum videbunt, et lætabuntur,/ et exsultabit cor eorum in Domino./
- Éphraïm sera comme un héros; Leur coeur aura la joie que donne le vin; Leurs fils le verront et seront dans l'allégresse, Leur coeur se réjouira en l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσονται ὡς μαχηταὶ του̃ Εφραιμ καὶ χαρήσεται ἡ καρδία αὐτω̃ν ὡς ἐν οἴνω̨ καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτω̃ν ὄψονται καὶ εὐφρανθήσονται καὶ χαρει̃ται ἡ καρδία αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃10 והיו כגבור אפרים ושמח לבם כמו יין ובניהם יראו ושמחו יגל לבם ביהוה (Ⅴ)

Sibilabo eis, et congregabo illos,/ quia redemi eos :/ et multiplicabo eos sicut ante fuerant multiplicati./
- Je les sifflerai et les rassemblerai, car je les rachète, Et ils multiplieront comme ils multipliaient. (Ⅱ) - I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased. (Ⅲ) - σημανω̃ αὐτοι̃ς καὶ εἰσδέξομαι αὐτούς διότι λυτρώσομαι αὐτούς καὶ πληθυνθήσονται καθότι ἠ̃σαν πολλοί (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃10 אשרקה להם ואקבצם כי פדיתים ורבו כמו רבו (Ⅴ)

Et seminabo eos in populis,/ et de longe recordabuntur mei :/ et vivent cum filiis suis, et revertentur./
- Je les disperserai parmi les peuples, Et au loin ils se souviendront de moi; Ils vivront avec leurs enfants, et ils reviendront. (Ⅱ) - And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again. (Ⅲ) - καὶ σπερω̃ αὐτοὺς ἐν λαοι̃ς καὶ οἱ μακρὰν μνησθήσονταί μου ἐκθρέψουσιν τὰ τέκνα αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐπιστρέψουσιν (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃10 ואזרעם בעמים ובמרחקים יזכרוני וחיו את בניהם ושבו (Ⅴ)

Et reducam eos de terra Ægypti,/ et de Assyriis congregabo eos,/ et ad terram Galaad et Libani adducam eos,/ et non invenietur eis locus :/
- Je les ramènerai du pays d'Égypte, Et je les rassemblerai de l'Assyrie; Je les ferai venir au pays de Galaad et au Liban, Et l'espace ne leur suffira pas. (Ⅱ) - I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπιστρέψω αὐτοὺς ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐξ 'Ασσυρίων εἰσδέξομαι αὐτοὺς καὶ εἰς τὴν Γαλααδι̃τιν καὶ εἰς τὸν Λίβανον εἰσάξω αὐτούς καὶ οὐ μὴ ὑπολειφθη̨̃ ἐξ αὐτω̃ν οὐδὲ εἱ̃ς (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃10 והשיבותים מארץ מצרים ומאשור אקבצם ואל ארץ גלעד ולבנון אביאם ולא ימצא להם (Ⅴ)

et transibit in maris freto,/ et percutiet in mari fluctus,/ et confundentur omnia profunda fluminis :/ et humiliabitur superbia Assur,/ et sceptrum Ægypti recedet./
- Il passera la mer de détresse, il frappera les flots de la mer, Et toutes les profondeurs du fleuve seront desséchées; L'orgueil de l'Assyrie sera abattu, Et le sceptre de l'Égypte disparaîtra. (Ⅱ) - And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. (Ⅲ) - καὶ διελεύσονται ἐν θαλάσση̨ στενη̨̃ καὶ πατάξουσιν ἐν θαλάσση̨ κύματα καὶ ξηρανθήσεται πάντα τὰ βάθη ποταμω̃ν καὶ ἀφαιρεθήσεται πα̃σα ὕβρις 'Ασσυρίων καὶ σκη̃πτρον Αἰγύπτου περιαιρεθήσεται (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃10 ועבר בים צרה והכה בים גלים והבישו כל מצולות יאר והורד גאון אשור ושבט מצרים יסור (Ⅴ)

Confortabo eos in Domino,/ et in nomine ejus ambulabunt, dicit Dominus.]
- Je les fortifierai par l'Éternel, Et ils marcheront en son nom, Dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ κατισχύσω αὐτοὺς ἐν κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ὀνόματι αὐτου̃ κατακαυχήσονται λέγει κύριος (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃10 וגברתים ביהוה ובשמו יתהלכו נאם יהוה ס (Ⅴ)
