Et factum est verbum Domini exercituum, dicens :
- La parole de l'Éternel des armées se révéla, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying, (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου παντοκράτορος λέγων (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃8 ויהי דבר יהוה צבאות לאמר (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Zelatus sum Sion zelo magno, et indignatione magna zelatus sum eam.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Je suis ému pour Sion d'une grande jalousie, et je suis saisi pour elle d'une grande fureur. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury. (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐζήλωσα τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὴν Σιων ζη̃λον μέγαν καὶ θυμω̨̃ μεγάλω̨ ἐζήλωσα αὐτήν (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה צבאות קנאתי לציון קנאה גדולה וחמה גדולה קנאתי לה (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Reversus sum ad Sion, et habitabo in medio Jerusalem : et vocabitur Jerusalem civitas veritatis, et mons Domini exercituum mons sanctificatus.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Je retourne à Sion, et je veux habiter au milieu de Jérusalem. Jérusalem sera appelée ville fidèle, et la montagne de l'Éternel des armées montagne sainte. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain. (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ἐπιστρέψω ἐπὶ Σιων καὶ κατασκηνώσω ἐν μέσω̨ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ κληθήσεται ἡ Ιερουσαλημ πόλις ἡ ἀληθινὴ καὶ τὸ ὄρος κυρίου παντοκράτορος ὄρος ἅγιον (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה שבתי אל ציון ושכנתי בתוך ירושלם ונקראה ירושלם עיר האמת והר יהוה צבאות הר הקדש ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Adhuc habitabunt senes et anus in plateis Jerusalem, et viri baculus in manu ejus præ multitudine dierum.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Des vieillards et des femmes âgées s'assiéront encore dans les rues de Jérusalem, chacun le bâton à la main, à cause du grand nombre de leurs jours. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age. (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἔτι καθήσονται πρεσβύτεροι καὶ πρεσβύτεραι ἐν ται̃ς πλατείαις Ιερουσαλημ ἕκαστος τὴν ῥάβδον αὐτου̃ ἔχων ἐν τη̨̃ χειρὶ αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ πλήθους ἡμερω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה צבאות עד ישבו זקנים וזקנות ברחבות ירושלם ואיש משענתו בידו מרב ימים (Ⅴ)

Et plateæ civitatis complebuntur infantibus et puellis, ludentibus in plateis ejus.
- Les rues de la ville seront remplies de jeunes garçons et de jeunes filles, jouant dans les rues. (Ⅱ) - And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof. (Ⅲ) - καὶ αἱ πλατει̃αι τη̃ς πόλεως πλησθήσονται παιδαρίων καὶ κορασίων παιζόντων ἐν ται̃ς πλατείαις αὐτη̃ς (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃8 ורחבות העיר ימלאו ילדים וילדות משחקים ברחבתיה ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Si videbitur difficile in oculis reliquiarum populi hujus in diebus illis, numquid in oculis meis difficile erit ? dicit Dominus exercituum.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Si la chose paraît étonnante aux yeux du reste de ce peuple en ces jours-là, sera-t-elle de même étonnante à mes yeux? dit l'Éternel des armées. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts. (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ διότι εἰ ἀδυνατήσει ἐνώπιον τω̃ν καταλοίπων του̃ λαου̃ τούτου ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις μὴ καὶ ἐνώπιον ἐμου̃ ἀδυνατήσει λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה צבאות כי יפלא בעיני שארית העם הזה בימים ההם גם בעיני יפלא נאם יהוה צבאות פ (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Ecce ego salvabo populum meum de terra orientis et de terra occasus solis.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Voici, je délivre mon peuple du pays de l'orient et du pays du soleil couchant. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀνασώ̨ζω τὸν λαόν μου ἀπὸ γη̃ς ἀνατολω̃ν καὶ ἀπὸ γη̃ς δυσμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה צבאות הנני מושיע את עמי מארץ מזרח ומארץ מבוא השמש (Ⅴ)

Et adducam eos, et habitabunt in medio Jerusalem : et erunt mihi in populum, et ego ero eis in Deum, in veritate et in justitia.\
- Je les ramènerai, et ils habiteront au milieu de Jérusalem; ils seront mon peuple, et je serai leur Dieu avec vérité et droiture. (Ⅱ) - And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς καὶ κατασκηνώσω ἐν μέσω̨ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔσονταί μοι εἰς λαόν καὶ ἐγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτοι̃ς εἰς θεὸν ἐν ἀληθεία̨ καὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνη̨ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃8 והבאתי אתם ושכנו בתוך ירושלם והיו לי לעם ואני אהיה להם לאלהים באמת ובצדקה ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Confortentur manus vestræ, qui auditis in his diebus sermones istos per os prophetarum, in die qua fundata est domus Domini exercituum, ut templum ædificaretur.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Fortifiez vos mains, vous qui entendez aujourd'hui ces paroles de la bouche des prophètes qui parurent au temps où fut fondée la maison de l'Éternel des armées, où le temple allait être bâti. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built. (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ κατισχυέτωσαν αἱ χει̃ρες ὑμω̃ν τω̃ν ἀκουόντων ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις ταύταις τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐκ στόματος τω̃ν προφητω̃ν ἀφ' ἡ̃ς ἡμέρας τεθεμελίωται ὁ οἰ̃κος κυρίου παντοκράτορος καὶ ὁ ναὸς ἀφ' οὑ̃ ὠ̨κοδόμηται (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה צבאות תחזקנה ידיכם השמעים בימים האלה את הדברים האלה מפי הנביאים אשר ביום יסד בית יהוה צבאות ההיכל להבנות (Ⅴ)

Siquidem ante dies illos merces hominum non erat, nec merces jumentorum erat : neque introëunti, neque exeunti erat pax præ tribulatione : et dimisi omnes homines, unumquemque contra proximum suum.
- Car avant ce temps, le travail de l'homme ne recevait pas sa récompense, et le salaire des bêtes était nul; il n'y avait point de paix pour ceux qui entraient et sortaient, à cause de l'ennemi, et je lâchais tous les hommes les uns contre les autres. (Ⅱ) - For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour. (Ⅲ) - διότι πρὸ τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν ἐκείνων ὁ μισθὸς τω̃ν ἀνθρώπων οὐκ ἔσται εἰς ὄνησιν καὶ ὁ μισθὸς τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν οὐχ ὑπάρξει καὶ τω̨̃ ἐκπορευομένω̨ καὶ τω̨̃ εἰσπορευομένω̨ οὐκ ἔσται εἰρήνη ἀπὸ τη̃ς θλίψεως καὶ ἐξαποστελω̃ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἕκαστον ἐπὶ τὸν πλησίον αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃8 כי לפני הימים ההם שכר האדם לא נהיה ושכר הבהמה איננה וליוצא ולבא אין שלום מן הצר ואשלח את כל האדם איש ברעהו (Ⅴ)

Nunc autem non juxta dies priores ego faciam reliquiis populi hujus, dicit Dominus exercituum,
- Maintenant je ne suis pas pour le reste de ce peuple comme j'étais dans le temps passé, dit l'Éternel des armées. (Ⅱ) - But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts. (Ⅲ) - καὶ νυ̃ν οὐ κατὰ τὰς ἡμέρας τὰς ἔμπροσθεν ἐγὼ ποιω̃ τοι̃ς καταλοίποις του̃ λαου̃ τούτου λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃8 ועתה לא כימים הראשנים אני לשארית העם הזה נאם יהוה צבאות (Ⅴ)

sed semen pacis erit : vinea dabit fructum suum, et terra dabit germen suum, et cæli dabunt rorem suum : et possidere faciam reliquias populi hujus universa hæc.
- Car les semailles prospéreront, la vigne rendra son fruit, la terre donnera ses produits, et les cieux enverront leur rosée; je ferai jouir de toutes ces choses le reste de ce peuple. (Ⅱ) - For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. (Ⅲ) - ἀλλ' ἢ δείξω εἰρήνην ἡ ἄμπελος δώσει τὸν καρπὸν αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἡ γη̃ δώσει τὰ γενήματα αὐτη̃ς καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς δώσει τὴν δρόσον αὐτου̃ καὶ κατακληρονομήσω τοι̃ς καταλοίποις του̃ λαου̃ μου πάντα ταυ̃τα (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃8 כי זרע השלום הגפן תתן פריה והארץ תתן את יבולה והשמים יתנו טלם והנחלתי את שארית העם הזה את כל אלה (Ⅴ)

Et erit : sicut eratis maledictio in gentibus, domus Juda et domus Israël, sic salvabo vos, et eritis benedictio. Nolite timere ; confortentur manus vestræ.
- De même que vous avez été en malédiction parmi les nations, maison de Juda et maison d'Israël, de même je vous sauverai, et vous serez en bénédiction. Ne craignez pas, et que vos mains se fortifient! (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ὃν τρόπον ἠ̃τε ἐν κατάρα̨ ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν οἰ̃κος Ιουδα καὶ οἰ̃κος Ισραηλ οὕτως διασώσω ὑμα̃ς καὶ ἔσεσθε ἐν εὐλογία̨ θαρσει̃τε καὶ κατισχύετε ἐν ται̃ς χερσὶν ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃8 והיה כאשר הייתם קללה בגוים בית יהודה ובית ישראל כן אושיע אתכם והייתם ברכה אל תיראו תחזקנה ידיכם ס (Ⅴ)

Quia hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Sicut cogitavi ut affligerem vos, cum ad iracundiam provocassent patres vestri me, dicit Dominus,
- Car ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Comme j'ai eu la pensée de vous faire du mal lorsque vos pères m'irritaient, dit l'Éternel des armées, et que je ne m'en suis point repenti, (Ⅱ) - For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not: (Ⅲ) - διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ὃν τρόπον διενοήθην του̃ κακω̃σαι ὑμα̃ς ἐν τω̨̃ παροργίσαι με τοὺς πατέρας ὑμω̃ν λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ οὐ μετενόησα (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃8 כי כה אמר יהוה צבאות כאשר זממתי[U] להרע לכם בהקציף אבתיכם אתי אמר יהוה צבאות ולא נחמתי (Ⅴ)

et non sum misertus : sic conversus cogitavi, in diebus istis, ut benefaciam domui Juda et Jerusalem. Nolite timere.
- ainsi je reviens en arrière et j'ai résolu en ces jours de faire du bien à Jérusalem et à la maison de Juda. Ne craignez pas! (Ⅱ) - So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not. (Ⅲ) - οὕτως παρατέταγμαι καὶ διανενόημαι ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις ταύταις του̃ καλω̃ς ποιη̃σαι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον Ιουδα θαρσει̃τε (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃8 כן שבתי זממתי בימים האלה להיטיב את ירושלם ואת בית יהודה אל תיראו (Ⅴ)

Hæc sunt ergo verba quæ facietis : loquimini veritatem unusquisque cum proximo suo : veritatem et judicium pacis judicate in portis vestris.
- Voici ce que vous devez faire: dites la vérité chacun à son prochain; jugez dans vos portes selon la vérité et en vue de la paix; (Ⅱ) - These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: (Ⅲ) - οὑ̃τοι οἱ λόγοι οὓς ποιήσετε λαλει̃τε ἀλήθειαν ἕκαστος πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτου̃ καὶ κρίμα εἰρηνικὸν κρίνατε ἐν ται̃ς πύλαις ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃8 אלה הדברים אשר תעשו דברו אמת איש את רעהו אמת ומשפט שלום שפטו בשעריכם (Ⅴ)

Et unusquisque malum contra amicum suum ne cogitetis in cordibus vestris, et juramentum mendax ne diligatis : omnia enim hæc sunt quæ odi, dicit Dominus.\
- que nul en son coeur ne pense le mal contre son prochain, et n'aimez pas le faux serment, car ce sont là toutes choses que je hais, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἕκαστος τὴν κακίαν του̃ πλησίον αὐτου̃ μὴ λογίζεσθε ἐν ται̃ς καρδίαις ὑμω̃ν καὶ ὅρκον ψευδη̃ μὴ ἀγαπα̃τε διότι ταυ̃τα πάντα ἐμίσησα λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃8 ואיש את רעת רעהו אל תחשבו בלבבכם ושבעת שקר אל תאהבו כי את כל אלה אשר שנאתי נאם יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Et factum est verbum Domini exercituum ad me, dicens :
- La parole de l'Éternel des armées me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying, (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κύριου παντοκράτορος πρός με λέγων (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃8 ויהי דבר יהוה צבאות אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Jejunium quarti, et jejunium quinti, et jejunium septimi, et jejunium decimi erit domui Juda in gaudium et lætitiam et in solemnitates præclaras. Veritatem tantum et pacem diligite.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Le jeûne du quatrième mois, le jeûne du cinquième, le jeûne du septième et le jeûne du dixième se changeront pour la maison de Juda en jours d'allégresse et de joie, en fêtes de réjouissance. Mais aimez la vérité et la paix. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace. (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ νηστεία ἡ τετρὰς καὶ νηστεία ἡ πέμπτη καὶ νηστεία ἡ ἑβδόμη καὶ νηστεία ἡ δεκάτη ἔσονται τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ιουδα εἰς χαρὰν καὶ εἰς εὐφροσύνην καὶ εἰς ἑορτὰς ἀγαθὰς καὶ εὐφρανθήσεσθε καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειαν καὶ τὴν εἰρήνην ἀγαπήσατε (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה צבאות צום הרביעי וצום החמישי וצום השביעי וצום העשירי יהיה לבית יהודה לששון ולשמחה ולמעדים טובים והאמת והשלום אהבו פ (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, usquequo veniant populi et habitent in civitatibus multis :
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Il viendra encore des peuples et des habitants d'un grand nombre de villes. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἔτι ἥξουσιν λαοὶ πολλοὶ καὶ κατοικου̃ντες πόλεις πολλάς (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃8 כה אמר יהוה צבאות עד אשר יבאו עמים וישבי ערים רבות (Ⅴ)

et vadant habitatores, unus ad alterum, dicentes : Eamus, et deprecemur faciem Domini, et quæramus Dominum exercituum : vadam etiam ego.
- Les habitants d'une ville iront à l'autre, en disant: Allons implorer l'Éternel et chercher l'Éternel des armées! Nous irons aussi! (Ⅱ) - And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. (Ⅲ) - καὶ συνελεύσονται κατοικου̃ντες πέντε πόλεις εἰς μίαν πόλιν λέγοντες πορευθω̃μεν δεηθη̃ναι του̃ προσώπου κυρίου καὶ ἐκζητη̃σαι τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου παντοκράτορος πορεύσομαι κἀγώ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃8 והלכו ישבי אחת אל אחת לאמר נלכה הלוך לחלות את פני יהוה ולבקש את יהוה צבאות אלכה גם אני (Ⅴ)

Et venient populi multi, et gentes robustæ, ad quærendum Dominum exercituum in Jerusalem, et deprecandam faciem Domini.
- Et beaucoup de peuples et de nombreuses nations viendront chercher l'Éternel des armées à Jérusalem et implorer l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἥξουσιν λαοὶ πολλοὶ καὶ ἔθνη πολλὰ ἐκζητη̃σαι τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου παντοκράτορος ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ του̃ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃8 ובאו עמים רבים וגוים עצומים לבקש את יהוה צבאות בירושלם ולחלות את פני יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : In diebus illis, in quibus apprehendent decem homines ex omnibus linguis gentium, et apprehendent fimbriam viri Judæi, dicentes : Ibimus vobiscum : audivimus enim quoniam Deus vobiscum est.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: En ces jours-là, dix hommes de toutes les langues des nations saisiront un Juif par le pan de son vêtement et diront: Nous irons avec vous, car nous avons appris que Dieu est avec vous. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις ἐὰν ἐπιλάβωνται δέκα ἄνδρες ἐκ πασω̃ν τω̃ν γλωσσω̃ν τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν καὶ ἐπιλάβωνται του̃ κρασπέδου ἀνδρὸς Ιουδαίου λέγοντες πορευσόμεθα μετὰ σου̃ διότι ἀκηκόαμεν ὅτι ὁ θεὸς μεθ' ὑμω̃ν ἐστιν (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃8 כה[C] אמר יהוה צבאות בימים ההמה אשר יחזיקו עשרה אנשים מכל לשנות הגוים והחזיקו בכנף איש יהודי לאמר נלכה עמכם כי שמענו אלהים עמכם ס (Ⅴ)
