καὶ ἰδοὺ τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ ἐσχίσθη ⸂ἀπ’ ἄνωθεν ἕως κάτω εἰς δύο⸃, καὶ ἡ γῆ ἐσείσθη, καὶ αἱ πέτραι ἐσχίσθησαν,
- Et voici, le voile du temple se déchira en deux, depuis le haut jusqu'en bas, la terre trembla, les rochers se fendirent, (Ⅱ) - And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; (Ⅲ) - Et ecce velum templi scissum est in duas partes a summo usque deorsum : et terra mota est, et petræ scissæ sunt, (Ⅳ)

καὶ τὰ μνημεῖα ἀνεῴχθησαν καὶ πολλὰ σώματα τῶν κεκοιμημένων ἁγίων ⸀ἠγέρθησαν,
- les sépulcres s'ouvrirent, et plusieurs corps des saints qui étaient morts ressuscitèrent. (Ⅱ) - And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, (Ⅲ) - et monumenta aperta sunt : et multa corpora sanctorum, qui dormierant, surrexerunt. (Ⅳ)

καὶ ἐξελθόντες ἐκ τῶν μνημείων μετὰ τὴν ἔγερσιν αὐτοῦ εἰσῆλθον εἰς τὴν ἁγίαν πόλιν καὶ ἐνεφανίσθησαν πολλοῖς.
- Étant sortis des sépulcres, après la résurrection de Jésus, ils entrèrent dans la ville sainte, et apparurent à un grand nombre de personnes. (Ⅱ) - And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (Ⅲ) - Et exeuntes de monumentis post resurrectionem ejus, venerunt in sanctam civitatem, et apparuerunt multis. (Ⅳ)

Ὁ δὲ ἑκατόνταρχος καὶ οἱ μετ’ αὐτοῦ τηροῦντες τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἰδόντες τὸν σεισμὸν καὶ τὰ ⸀γενόμενα ἐφοβήθησαν σφόδρα λέγοντες· Ἀληθῶς ⸂θεοῦ υἱὸς⸃ ἦν οὗτος.
- Le centenier et ceux qui étaient avec lui pour garder Jésus, ayant vu le tremblement de terre et ce qui venait d'arriver, furent saisis d'une grande frayeur, et dirent: Assurément, cet homme était Fils de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. (Ⅲ) - Centurio autem, et qui cum eo erant, custodientes Jesum, viso terræmotu, et his quæ fiebant, timuerunt valde, dicentes : Vere Filius Dei erat iste.\ (Ⅳ)

Ἦσαν δὲ ἐκεῖ γυναῖκες πολλαὶ ἀπὸ μακρόθεν θεωροῦσαι, αἵτινες ἠκολούθησαν τῷ Ἰησοῦ ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας διακονοῦσαι αὐτῷ·
- Il y avait là plusieurs femmes qui regardaient de loin; qui avaient accompagné Jésus depuis la Galilée, pour le servir. (Ⅱ) - And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: (Ⅲ) - Erant autem ibi mulieres multæ a longe, quæ secutæ erant Jesum a Galilæa, ministrantes ei : (Ⅳ)

ἐν αἷς ἦν Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ Μαρία ἡ τοῦ Ἰακώβου καὶ ⸀Ἰωσὴφ μήτηρ καὶ ἡ μήτηρ τῶν υἱῶν Ζεβεδαίου.
- Parmi elles étaient Marie de Magdala, Marie, mère de Jacques et de Joseph, et la mère des fils de Zébédée. (Ⅱ) - Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children. (Ⅲ) - inter quas erat Maria Magdalene, et Maria Jacobi, et Joseph mater, et mater filiorum Zebedæi. (Ⅳ)

Ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης ἦλθεν ἄνθρωπος πλούσιος ἀπὸ Ἁριμαθαίας, τοὔνομα Ἰωσήφ, ὃς καὶ αὐτὸς ⸀ἐμαθητεύθη τῷ Ἰησοῦ·
- Le soir étant venu, arriva un homme riche d'Arimathée, nommé Joseph, lequel était aussi disciple de Jésus. (Ⅱ) - When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple: (Ⅲ) - Cum autem sero factum esset, venit quidam homo dives ab Arimathæa, nomine Joseph, qui et ipse discipulus erat Jesu : (Ⅳ)

οὗτος προσελθὼν τῷ Πιλάτῳ ᾐτήσατο τὸ σῶμα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ. τότε ὁ Πιλᾶτος ἐκέλευσεν ⸀ἀποδοθῆναι.
- Il se rendit vers Pilate, et demanda le corps de Jésus. Et Pilate ordonna de le remettre. (Ⅱ) - He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. (Ⅲ) - hic accessit ad Pilatum, et petiit corpus Jesu. Tunc Pilatus jussit reddi corpus. (Ⅳ)

καὶ λαβὼν τὸ σῶμα ὁ Ἰωσὴφ ἐνετύλιξεν ⸀αὐτὸ σινδόνι καθαρᾷ,
- Joseph prit le corps, l'enveloppa d'un linceul blanc, (Ⅱ) - And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, (Ⅲ) - Et accepto corpore, Joseph involvit illud in sindone munda, (Ⅳ)

καὶ ἔθηκεν αὐτὸ ἐν τῷ καινῷ αὐτοῦ μνημείῳ ὃ ἐλατόμησεν ἐν τῇ πέτρᾳ, καὶ προσκυλίσας λίθον μέγαν τῇ θύρᾳ τοῦ μνημείου ἀπῆλθεν.
- et le déposa dans un sépulcre neuf, qu'il s'était fait tailler dans le roc. Puis il roula une grande pierre à l'entrée du sépulcre, et il s'en alla. (Ⅱ) - And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. (Ⅲ) - et posuit illud in monumento suo novo, quod exciderat in petra. Et advolvit saxum magnum ad ostium monumenti, et abiit. (Ⅳ)

ἦν δὲ ἐκεῖ ⸀Μαριὰμ ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ ἡ ἄλλη Μαρία καθήμεναι ἀπέναντι τοῦ τάφου.
- Marie de Magdala et l'autre Marie étaient là, assises vis-à-vis du sépulcre. (Ⅱ) - And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. (Ⅲ) - Erant autem ibi Maria Magdalene, et altera Maria, sedentes contra sepulchrum.\ (Ⅳ)

Τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον, ἥτις ἐστὶν μετὰ τὴν παρασκευήν, συνήχθησαν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι πρὸς Πιλᾶτον
- Le lendemain, qui était le jour après la préparation, les principaux sacrificateurs et les pharisiens allèrent ensemble auprès de Pilate, (Ⅱ) - Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, (Ⅲ) - Altera autem die, quæ est post Parasceven, convenerunt principes sacerdotum et pharisæi ad Pilatum, (Ⅳ)

λέγοντες· Κύριε, ἐμνήσθημεν ὅτι ἐκεῖνος ὁ πλάνος εἶπεν ἔτι ζῶν· Μετὰ τρεῖς ἡμέρας ἐγείρομαι·
- et dirent: Seigneur, nous nous souvenons que cet imposteur a dit, quand il vivait encore: Après trois jours je ressusciterai. (Ⅱ) - Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. (Ⅲ) - dicentes : Domine, recordati sumus, quia seductor ille dixit adhuc vivens : Post tres dies resurgam. (Ⅳ)

κέλευσον οὖν ἀσφαλισθῆναι τὸν τάφον ἕως τῆς τρίτης ἡμέρας, μήποτε ἐλθόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ ⸀αὐτοῦ κλέψωσιν αὐτὸν καὶ εἴπωσιν τῷ λαῷ· Ἠγέρθη ἀπὸ τῶν νεκρῶν, καὶ ἔσται ἡ ἐσχάτη πλάνη χείρων τῆς πρώτης.
- Ordonne donc que le sépulcre soit gardé jusqu'au troisième jour, afin que ses disciples ne viennent pas dérober le corps, et dire au peuple: Il est ressuscité des morts. Cette dernière imposture serait pire que la première. (Ⅱ) - Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. (Ⅲ) - Jube ergo custodiri sepulchrum usque in diem tertium : ne forte veniant discipuli ejus, et furentur eum, et dicant plebi : Surrexit a mortuis : et erit novissimus error pejor priore. (Ⅳ)

⸀ἔφη αὐτοῖς ὁ Πιλᾶτος· Ἔχετε κουστωδίαν· ὑπάγετε ἀσφαλίσασθε ὡς οἴδατε.
- Pilate leur dit: Vous avez une garde; allez, gardez-le comme vous l'entendrez. (Ⅱ) - Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. (Ⅲ) - Ait illis Pilatus : Habetis custodiam, ite, custodite sicut scitis. (Ⅳ)

οἱ δὲ πορευθέντες ἠσφαλίσαντο τὸν τάφον σφραγίσαντες τὸν λίθον μετὰ τῆς κουστωδίας.
- Ils s'en allèrent, et s'assurèrent du sépulcre au moyen de la garde, après avoir scellé la pierre. (Ⅱ) - So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. (Ⅲ) - Illi autem abeuntes, munierunt sepulchrum, signantes lapidem, cum custodibus. (Ⅳ)
