14. 1  
Ἦν δὲ τὸ πάσχα καὶ τὰ ἄζυμα μετὰ δύο ἡμέρας. καὶ ἐζήτουν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς πῶς αὐτὸν ἐν δόλῳ κρατήσαντες ἀποκτείνωσιν,
- La fête de Pâque et des pains sans levain devait avoir lieu deux jours après. Les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes cherchaient les moyens d'arrêter Jésus par ruse, et de le faire mourir. (Ⅱ)
- After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. (Ⅲ)
- Erat autem Pascha et azyma post biduum : et quærebant summi sacerdotes et scribæ quomodo eum dolo tenerent, et occiderent. (Ⅳ)
14. 2  
ἔλεγον ⸀γάρ· Μὴ ἐν τῇ ἑορτῇ, μήποτε ⸂ἔσται θόρυβος⸃ τοῦ λαοῦ.
- Car ils disaient: Que ce ne soit pas pendant la fête, afin qu'il n'y ait pas de tumulte parmi le peuple. (Ⅱ)
- But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people. (Ⅲ)
- Dicebant autem : Non in die festo, ne forte tumultus fieret in populo.\ (Ⅳ)
14. 3  
Καὶ ὄντος αὐτοῦ ἐν Βηθανίᾳ ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ Σίμωνος τοῦ λεπροῦ κατακειμένου αὐτοῦ ἦλθεν γυνὴ ἔχουσα ἀλάβαστρον μύρου νάρδου πιστικῆς πολυτελοῦς· ⸀συντρίψασα ⸀τὴν ἀλάβαστρον κατέχεεν ⸀αὐτοῦ τῆς κεφαλῆς.
- Comme Jésus était à Béthanie, dans la maison de Simon le lépreux, une femme entra, pendant qu'il se trouvait à table. Elle tenait un vase d'albâtre, qui renfermait un parfum de nard pur de grand prix; et, ayant rompu le vase, elle répandit le parfum sur la tête de Jésus. (Ⅱ)
- And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. (Ⅲ)
- Et cum esset Bethaniæ in domo Simonis leprosi, et recumberet, venit mulier habens alabastrum unguenti nardi spicati pretiosi : et fracto alabastro, effudit super caput ejus. (Ⅳ)
14. 4  
ἦσαν δέ τινες ἀγανακτοῦντες πρὸς ⸀ἑαυτούς· Εἰς τί ἡ ἀπώλεια αὕτη τοῦ μύρου γέγονεν;
- Quelques-uns exprimèrent entre eux leur indignation: A quoi bon perdre ce parfum? (Ⅱ)
- And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made? (Ⅲ)
- Erant autem quidam indigne ferentes intra semetipsos, et dicentes : Ut quid perditio ista unguenti facta est ? (Ⅳ)
14. 5  
ἠδύνατο γὰρ τοῦτο ⸂τὸ μύρον⸃ πραθῆναι ἐπάνω ⸂δηναρίων τριακοσίων⸃ καὶ δοθῆναι τοῖς πτωχοῖς· καὶ ἐνεβριμῶντο αὐτῇ.
- On aurait pu le vendre plus de trois cents deniers, et les donner aux pauvres. Et ils s'irritaient contre cette femme. (Ⅱ)
- For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. (Ⅲ)
- poterat enim unguentum istud venundari plus quam trecentis denariis, et dari pauperibus. Et fremebant in eam. (Ⅳ)
14. 6  
ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν· Ἄφετε αὐτήν· τί αὐτῇ κόπους παρέχετε; καλὸν ἔργον ἠργάσατο ἐν ἐμοί·
- Mais Jésus dit: Laissez-la. Pourquoi lui faites-vous de la peine? Elle a fait une bonne action à mon égard; (Ⅱ)
- And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. (Ⅲ)
- Jesus autem dixit : Sinite eam, quid illi molesti estis ? Bonum opus operata est in me : (Ⅳ)
14. 7  
πάντοτε γὰρ τοὺς πτωχοὺς ἔχετε μεθ’ ἑαυτῶν, καὶ ὅταν θέλητε δύνασθε ⸀αὐτοῖς εὖ ποιῆσαι, ἐμὲ δὲ οὐ πάντοτε ἔχετε·
- car vous avez toujours les pauvres avec vous, et vous pouvez leur faire du bien quand vous voulez, mais vous ne m'avez pas toujours. (Ⅱ)
- For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. (Ⅲ)
- semper enim pauperes habetis vobiscum : et cum volueritis, potestis illis benefacere : me autem non semper habetis. (Ⅳ)
14. 8  
ὃ ⸀ἔσχεν ἐποίησεν, προέλαβεν μυρίσαι ⸂τὸ σῶμά μου⸃ εἰς τὸν ἐνταφιασμόν.
- Elle a fait ce qu'elle a pu; elle a d'avance embaumé mon corps pour la sépulture. (Ⅱ)
- She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. (Ⅲ)
- Quod habuit hæc, fecit : prævenit ungere corpus meum in sepulturam. (Ⅳ)
14. 9  
ἀμὴν ⸀δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν, ὅπου ⸀ἐὰν κηρυχθῇ τὸ ⸀εὐαγγέλιον εἰς ὅλον τὸν κόσμον, καὶ ὃ ἐποίησεν αὕτη λαληθήσεται εἰς μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς.
- Je vous le dis en vérité, partout où la bonne nouvelle sera prêchée, dans le monde entier, on racontera aussi en mémoire de cette femme ce qu'elle a fait. (Ⅱ)
- Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her. (Ⅲ)
- Amen dico vobis : Ubicumque prædicatum fuerit Evangelium istud in universo mundo, et quod fecit hæc, narrabitur in memoriam ejus.\ (Ⅳ)
14. 10  
⸀Καὶ Ἰούδας ⸂Ἰσκαριὼθ ὁ⸃ εἷς τῶν δώδεκα ἀπῆλθεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς ἵνα αὐτὸν ⸂παραδοῖ αὐτοῖς⸃.
- Judas Iscariot, l'un des douze, alla vers les principaux sacrificateurs, afin de leur livrer Jésus. (Ⅱ)
- And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them. (Ⅲ)
- Et Judas Iscariotes, unus de duodecim, abiit ad summos sacerdotes, ut proderet eum illis. (Ⅳ)
14. 11  
οἱ δὲ ἀκούσαντες ἐχάρησαν καὶ ἐπηγγείλαντο αὐτῷ ἀργύριον δοῦναι. καὶ ἐζήτει πῶς ⸂αὐτὸν εὐκαίρως παραδοῖ⸃.
- Après l'avoir entendu, ils furent dans la joie, et promirent de lui donner de l'argent. Et Judas cherchait une occasion favorable pour le livrer. (Ⅱ)
- And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him. (Ⅲ)
- Qui audientes gavisi sunt : et promiserunt ei pecuniam se daturos. Et quærebat quomodo illum opportune traderet.\ (Ⅳ)
14. 12  
Καὶ τῇ πρώτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τῶν ἀζύμων, ὅτε τὸ πάσχα ἔθυον, λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ· Ποῦ θέλεις ἀπελθόντες ἑτοιμάσωμεν ἵνα φάγῃς τὸ πάσχα;
- Le premier jour des pains sans levain, où l'on immolait la Pâque, les disciples de Jésus lui dirent: Où veux-tu que nous allions te préparer la Pâque? (Ⅱ)
- And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover? (Ⅲ)
- Et primo die azymorum quando Pascha immolabant, dicunt ei discipuli : Quo vis eamus, et paremus tibi ut manduces Pascha ? (Ⅳ)
14. 13  
καὶ ἀποστέλλει δύο τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ὑπάγετε εἰς τὴν πόλιν, καὶ ἀπαντήσει ὑμῖν ἄνθρωπος κεράμιον ὕδατος βαστάζων· ἀκολουθήσατε αὐτῷ,
- Et il envoya deux de ses disciples, et leur dit: Allez à la ville; vous rencontrerez un homme portant une cruche d'eau, suivez-le. (Ⅱ)
- And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. (Ⅲ)
- Et mittit duos ex discipulis suis, et dicit eis : Ite in civitatem, et occurret vobis homo lagenam aquæ bajulans : sequimini eum, (Ⅳ)
14. 14  
καὶ ὅπου ⸀ἐὰν εἰσέλθῃ εἴπατε τῷ οἰκοδεσπότῃ ὅτι Ὁ διδάσκαλος λέγει· Ποῦ ἐστιν τὸ κατάλυμά ⸀μου ὅπου τὸ πάσχα μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν μου φάγω;
- Quelque part qu'il entre, dites au maître de la maison: Le maître dit: Où est le lieu où je mangerai la Pâque avec mes disciples? (Ⅱ)
- And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? (Ⅲ)
- et quocumque introierit, dicite domino domus, quia magister dicit : Ubi est refectio mea, ubi Pascha cum discipulis meis manducem ? (Ⅳ)
14. 15  
καὶ αὐτὸς ὑμῖν δείξει ἀνάγαιον μέγα ἐστρωμένον ἕτοιμον· ⸀καὶ ἐκεῖ ἑτοιμάσατε ἡμῖν.
- Et il vous montrera une grande chambre haute, meublée et toute prête: c'est là que vous nous préparerez la Pâque. (Ⅱ)
- And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. (Ⅲ)
- Et ipse vobis demonstrabit cœnaculum grande, stratum : et illic parate nobis. (Ⅳ)
14. 16  
καὶ ἐξῆλθον οἱ ⸀μαθηταὶ καὶ ἦλθον εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ εὗρον καθὼς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἡτοίμασαν τὸ πάσχα.
- Les disciples partirent, arrivèrent à la ville, et trouvèrent les choses comme il le leur avait dit; et ils préparèrent la Pâque. (Ⅱ)
- And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. (Ⅲ)
- Et abierunt discipuli ejus, et venerunt in civitatem : et invenerunt sicut dixerat illis, et paraverunt Pascha. (Ⅳ)
14. 17  
Καὶ ὀψίας γενομένης ἔρχεται μετὰ τῶν δώδεκα.
- Le soir étant venu, il arriva avec les douze. (Ⅱ)
- And in the evening he cometh with the twelve. (Ⅲ)
- Vespere autem facto, venit cum duodecim. (Ⅳ)
14. 18  
καὶ ἀνακειμένων αὐτῶν καὶ ἐσθιόντων ⸂ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν⸃· Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι εἷς ἐξ ὑμῶν παραδώσει με ὁ ἐσθίων μετ’ ἐμοῦ.
- Pendant qu'ils étaient à table et qu'ils mangeaient, Jésus dit: Je vous le dis en vérité, l'un de vous, qui mange avec moi, me livrera. (Ⅱ)
- And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me. (Ⅲ)
- Et discumbentibus eis, et manducantibus, ait Jesus : Amen dico vobis, quia unus ex vobis tradet me, qui manducat mecum. (Ⅳ)
14. 19  
⸀ἤρξαντο λυπεῖσθαι καὶ λέγειν αὐτῷ εἷς κατὰ εἷς· Μήτι ⸀ἐγώ;
- Ils commencèrent à s'attrister, et à lui dire, l'un après l'autre: Est-ce moi? (Ⅱ)
- And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I? (Ⅲ)
- At illi cœperunt contristari, et dicere ei singulatim : Numquid ego ? (Ⅳ)
14. 20  
ὁ ⸀δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ⸀Εἷς τῶν δώδεκα, ὁ ἐμβαπτόμενος μετ’ ἐμοῦ εἰς ⸀τὸ τρύβλιον·
- Il leur répondit: C'est l'un des douze, qui met avec moi la main dans le plat. (Ⅱ)
- And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish. (Ⅲ)
- Qui ait illis : Unus ex duodecim, qui intingit mecum manum in catino. (Ⅳ)
14. 21  
⸀ὅτι ὁ μὲν υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ὑπάγει καθὼς γέγραπται περὶ αὐτοῦ, οὐαὶ δὲ τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ἐκείνῳ δι’ οὗ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου παραδίδοται· ⸀καλὸν αὐτῷ εἰ οὐκ ἐγεννήθη ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος.
- Le Fils de l'homme s'en va selon ce qui est écrit de lui. Mais malheur à l'homme par qui le Fils de l'homme est livré! Mieux vaudrait pour cet homme qu'il ne fût pas né. (Ⅱ)
- The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born. (Ⅲ)
- Et Filius quidem hominis vadit sicut scriptum est de eo : væ autem homini illi per quem Filius hominis tradetur ! bonum erat ei, si non esset natus homo ille.\ (Ⅳ)
14. 22  
Καὶ ἐσθιόντων αὐτῶν ⸀λαβὼν ἄρτον εὐλογήσας ἔκλασεν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς καὶ εἶπεν· ⸀Λάβετε, τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ σῶμά μου.
- Pendant qu'ils mangeaient, Jésus prit du pain; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il le rompit, et le leur donna, en disant: Prenez, ceci est mon corps. (Ⅱ)
- And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. (Ⅲ)
- Et manducantibus illis, accepit Jesus panem : et benedicens fregit, et dedit eis, et ait : Sumite, hoc est corpus meum. (Ⅳ)
14. 23  
καὶ ⸀λαβὼν ποτήριον εὐχαριστήσας ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἔπιον ἐξ αὐτοῦ πάντες.
- Il prit ensuite une coupe; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il la leur donna, et ils en burent tous. (Ⅱ)
- And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. (Ⅲ)
- Et accepto calice, gratias agens dedit eis : et biberunt ex illo omnes. (Ⅳ)
14. 24  
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ αἷμά μου ⸀τῆς διαθήκης τὸ ⸂ἐκχυννόμενον ὑπὲρ πολλῶν⸃.
- Et il leur dit: Ceci est mon sang, le sang de l'alliance, qui est répandu pour plusieurs. (Ⅱ)
- And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. (Ⅲ)
- Et ait illis : Hic est sanguis meus novi testamenti, qui pro multis effundetur. (Ⅳ)
14. 25  
ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐκέτι οὐ μὴ πίω ἐκ τοῦ γενήματος τῆς ἀμπέλου ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ἐκείνης ὅταν αὐτὸ πίνω καινὸν ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τοῦ θεοῦ.
- Je vous le dis en vérité, je ne boirai plus jamais du fruit de la vigne, jusqu'au jour où je le boirai nouveau dans le royaume de Dieu. (Ⅱ)
- Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God. (Ⅲ)
- Amen dico vobis, quia jam non bibam de hoc genimine vitis usque in diem illum, cum illud bibam novum in regno Dei.\ (Ⅳ)
14. 26  
Καὶ ὑμνήσαντες ἐξῆλθον εἰς τὸ Ὄρος τῶν Ἐλαιῶν.
- Après avoir chanté les cantiques, ils se rendirent à la montagne des oliviers. (Ⅱ)
- And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. (Ⅲ)
- Et hymno dicto exierunt in montem Olivarum. (Ⅳ)
14. 27  
Καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὅτι Πάντες ⸀σκανδαλισθήσεσθε, ὅτι γέγραπται· Πατάξω τὸν ποιμένα, καὶ ⸂τὰ πρόβατα διασκορπισθήσονται⸃.
- Jésus leur dit: Vous serez tous scandalisés; car il est écrit: Je frapperai le berger, et les brebis seront dispersées. (Ⅱ)
- And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. (Ⅲ)
- Et ait eis Jesus : Omnes scandalizabimini in me in nocte ista : quia scriptum est : Percutiam pastorem, et dispergentur oves. (Ⅳ)
14. 28  
ἀλλὰ μετὰ τὸ ἐγερθῆναί με προάξω ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν.
- Mais, après que je serai ressuscité, je vous précéderai en Galilée. (Ⅱ)
- But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee. (Ⅲ)
- Sed postquam resurrexero, præcedam vos in Galilæam. (Ⅳ)
14. 29  
ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ἔφη αὐτῷ· ⸂Εἰ καὶ⸃ πάντες σκανδαλισθήσονται, ἀλλ’ οὐκ ἐγώ.
- Pierre lui dit: Quand tous seraient scandalisés, je ne serai pas scandalisé. (Ⅱ)
- But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I. (Ⅲ)
- Petrus autem ait illi : Et si omnes scandalizati fuerint in te, sed non ego. (Ⅳ)
14. 30  
καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἀμὴν λέγω σοι ὅτι σὺ σήμερον ⸂ταύτῃ τῇ νυκτὶ⸃ πρὶν ἢ δὶς ἀλέκτορα φωνῆσαι τρίς ⸂με ἀπαρνήσῃ⸃.
- Et Jésus lui dit: Je te le dis en vérité, toi, aujourd'hui, cette nuit même, avant que le coq chante deux fois, tu me renieras trois fois. (Ⅱ)
- And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. (Ⅲ)
- Et ait illi Jesus : Amen dico tibi, quia tu hodie in nocte hac, priusquam gallus vocem bis dederit, ter me es negaturus. (Ⅳ)
14. 31  
ὁ δὲ ⸂ἐκπερισσῶς ἐλάλει⸃· Ἐὰν ⸂δέῃ με⸃ συναποθανεῖν σοι, οὐ μή σε ⸀ἀπαρνήσομαι. ὡσαύτως δὲ καὶ πάντες ἔλεγον.
- Mais Pierre reprit plus fortement: Quand il me faudrait mourir avec toi, je ne te renierai pas. Et tous dirent la même chose. (Ⅱ)
- But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all. (Ⅲ)
- At ille amplius loquebatur : Et si oportuerit me simul commori tibi, non te negabo. Similiter autem et omnes dicebant.\ (Ⅳ)
14. 32  
Καὶ ἔρχονται εἰς χωρίον οὗ τὸ ὄνομα Γεθσημανί, καὶ λέγει τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ· Καθίσατε ὧδε ἕως προσεύξωμαι.
- Ils allèrent ensuite dans un lieu appelé Gethsémané, et Jésus dit à ses disciples: Asseyez-vous ici, pendant que je prierai. (Ⅱ)
- And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. (Ⅲ)
- Et veniunt in prædium, cui nomen Gethsemani. Et ait discipulis suis : Sedete hic donec orem. (Ⅳ)
14. 33  
καὶ παραλαμβάνει τὸν Πέτρον καὶ ⸂Ἰάκωβον καὶ⸃ Ἰωάννην μετ’ ⸀αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἤρξατο ἐκθαμβεῖσθαι καὶ ἀδημονεῖν,
- Il prit avec lui Pierre, Jacques et Jean, et il commença à éprouver de la frayeur et des angoisses. (Ⅱ)
- And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy; (Ⅲ)
- Et assumit Petrum, et Jacobum, et Joannem secum : et cœpit pavere et tædere. (Ⅳ)
14. 34  
καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Περίλυπός ἐστιν ἡ ψυχή μου ἕως θανάτου· μείνατε ὧδε καὶ γρηγορεῖτε.
- Il leur dit: Mon âme est triste jusqu'à la mort; restez ici, et veillez. (Ⅱ)
- And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. (Ⅲ)
- Et ait illis : Tristis est anima mea usque ad mortem : sustinete hic, et vigilate. (Ⅳ)
14. 35  
καὶ ⸂προελθὼν μικρὸν ἔπιπτεν⸃ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ προσηύχετο ἵνα εἰ δυνατόν ἐστιν παρέλθῃ ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ ἡ ὥρα,
- Puis, ayant fait quelques pas en avant, il se jeta contre terre, et pria que, s'il était possible, cette heure s'éloignât de lui. (Ⅱ)
- And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. (Ⅲ)
- Et cum processisset paululum, procidit super terram, et orabat ut, si fieri posset, transiret ab eo hora. (Ⅳ)
14. 36  
καὶ ἔλεγεν· Αββα ὁ πατήρ, πάντα δυνατά σοι· παρένεγκε τὸ ποτήριον ⸂τοῦτο ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ⸃· ἀλλ’ οὐ τί ἐγὼ θέλω ἀλλὰ τί σύ.
- Il disait: Abba, Père, toutes choses te sont possibles, éloigne de moi cette coupe! Toutefois, non pas ce que je veux, mais ce que tu veux. (Ⅱ)
- And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. (Ⅲ)

καὶ ἔρχεται καὶ εὑρίσκει αὐτοὺς καθεύδοντας, καὶ λέγει τῷ Πέτρῳ· Σίμων, καθεύδεις; οὐκ ἴσχυσας μίαν ὥραν γρηγορῆσαι;
- Et il vint vers les disciples, qu'il trouva endormis, et il dit à Pierre: Simon, tu dors! Tu n'as pu veiller une heure! (Ⅱ)
- And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? (Ⅲ)
- Et venit, et invenit eos dormientes. Et ait Petro : Simon, dormis ? non potuisti una hora vigilare ? (Ⅳ)
14. 38  
γρηγορεῖτε καὶ προσεύχεσθε, ἵνα μὴ ⸀ἔλθητε εἰς πειρασμόν· τὸ μὲν πνεῦμα πρόθυμον ἡ δὲ σὰρξ ἀσθενής.
- Veillez et priez, afin que vous ne tombiez pas en tentation; l'esprit est bien disposé, mais la chair est faible. (Ⅱ)
- Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. (Ⅲ)
- vigilate et orate, ut non intretis in tentationem. Spiritus quidem promptus est, caro vero infirma. (Ⅳ)
14. 39  
καὶ πάλιν ἀπελθὼν προσηύξατο τὸν αὐτὸν λόγον εἰπών.
- Il s'éloigna de nouveau, et fit la même prière. (Ⅱ)
- And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words. (Ⅲ)
- Et iterum abiens oravit, eumdem sermonem dicens. (Ⅳ)
14. 40  
καὶ ⸂πάλιν ἐλθὼν εὗρεν αὐτοὺς⸃ καθεύδοντας, ἦσαν γὰρ ⸂αὐτῶν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ⸃ ⸀καταβαρυνόμενοι, καὶ οὐκ ᾔδεισαν τί ⸂ἀποκριθῶσιν αὐτῷ⸃.
- Il revint, et les trouva encore endormis; car leurs yeux étaient appesantis. Ils ne surent que lui répondre. (Ⅱ)
- And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him. (Ⅲ)
- Et reversus, denuo invenit eos dormientes (erant enim oculi eorum gravati), et ignorabant quid responderent ei. (Ⅳ)
14. 41  
καὶ ἔρχεται τὸ τρίτον καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Καθεύδετε ⸀τὸ λοιπὸν καὶ ἀναπαύεσθε· ἀπέχει· ἦλθεν ἡ ὥρα, ἰδοὺ παραδίδοται ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰς τὰς χεῖρας τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν.
- Il revint pour la troisième fois, et leur dit: Dormez maintenant, et reposez-vous! C'est assez! L'heure est venue; voici, le Fils de l'homme est livré aux mains des pécheurs. (Ⅱ)
- And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. (Ⅲ)
- Et venit tertio, et ait illis : Dormite jam, et requiescite. Sufficit : venit hora : ecce Filius hominis tradetur in manus peccatorum. (Ⅳ)
14. 42  
ἐγείρεσθε ἄγωμεν· ἰδοὺ ὁ παραδιδούς με ἤγγικεν.
- Levez-vous, allons; voici, celui qui me livre s'approche. (Ⅱ)
- Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand. (Ⅲ)
- Surgite, eamus : ecce qui me tradet, prope est.\ (Ⅳ)
14. 43  
Καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος παραγίνεται ⸀Ἰούδας ⸀εἷς τῶν δώδεκα καὶ μετ’ αὐτοῦ ⸀ὄχλος μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων παρὰ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ τῶν γραμματέων καὶ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων.
- Et aussitôt, comme il parlait encore, arriva Judas l'un des douze, et avec lui une foule armée d'épées et de bâtons, envoyée par les principaux sacrificateurs, par les scribes et par les anciens. (Ⅱ)
- And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. (Ⅲ)
- Et, adhuc eo loquente, venit Judas Iscariotes unus de duodecim, et cum eo turba multa cum gladiis et lignis, a summis sacerdotibus, et scribis, et senioribus. (Ⅳ)
14. 44  
δεδώκει δὲ ὁ παραδιδοὺς αὐτὸν σύσσημον αὐτοῖς λέγων· Ὃν ἂν φιλήσω αὐτός ἐστιν· κρατήσατε αὐτὸν καὶ ⸀ἀπάγετε ἀσφαλῶς.
- Celui qui le livrait leur avait donné ce signe: Celui que je baiserai, c'est lui; saisissez-le, et emmenez-le sûrement. (Ⅱ)
- And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely. (Ⅲ)
- Dederat autem traditor ejus signum eis, dicens : Quemcumque osculatus fuero, ipse est, tenete eum, et ducite caute. (Ⅳ)
14. 45  
καὶ ἐλθὼν ⸀εὐθὺς προσελθὼν αὐτῷ λέγει· ⸀Ῥαββί, καὶ κατεφίλησεν αὐτόν.
- Dès qu'il fut arrivé, il s'approcha de Jésus, disant: Rabbi! Et il le baisa. (Ⅱ)
- And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him. (Ⅲ)
- Et cum venisset, statim accedens ad eum, ait : Ave Rabbi : et osculatus est eum. (Ⅳ)
14. 46  
οἱ δὲ ἐπέβαλαν ⸂τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῷ⸃ καὶ ἐκράτησαν αὐτόν.
- Alors ces gens mirent la main sur Jésus, et le saisirent. (Ⅱ)
- And they laid their hands on him, and took him. (Ⅲ)
- At illi manus injecerunt in eum, et tenuerunt eum. (Ⅳ)
14. 47  
εἷς δέ ⸀τις τῶν παρεστηκότων σπασάμενος τὴν μάχαιραν ἔπαισεν τὸν δοῦλον τοῦ ἀρχιερέως καὶ ἀφεῖλεν αὐτοῦ τὸ ⸀ὠτάριον.
- Un de ceux qui étaient là, tirant l'épée, frappa le serviteur du souverain sacrificateur, et lui emporta l'oreille. (Ⅱ)
- And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. (Ⅲ)
- Unus autem quidam de circumstantibus educens gladium, percussit servum summi sacerdotis, et amputavit illi auriculam. (Ⅳ)
14. 48  
καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Ὡς ἐπὶ λῃστὴν ἐξήλθατε μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων συλλαβεῖν με;
- Jésus, prenant la parole, leur dit: Vous êtes venus, comme après un brigand, avec des épées et des bâtons, pour vous emparer de moi. (Ⅱ)
- And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me? (Ⅲ)
- Et respondens Jesus, ait illis : Tamquam ad latronem existis cum gladiis et lignis comprehendere me ? (Ⅳ)
14. 49  
καθ’ ἡμέραν ἤμην πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ διδάσκων καὶ οὐκ ἐκρατήσατέ με· ἀλλ’ ἵνα πληρωθῶσιν αἱ γραφαί.
- J'étais tous les jours parmi vous, enseignant dans le temple, et vous ne m'avez pas saisi. Mais c'est afin que les Écritures soient accomplies. (Ⅱ)
- I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled. (Ⅲ)
- quotidie eram apud vos in templo docens, et non me tenuistis. Sed ut impleantur Scripturæ. (Ⅳ)
14. 50  
καὶ ἀφέντες αὐτὸν ⸂ἔφυγον πάντες⸃.
- Alors tous l'abandonnèrent, et prirent la fuite. (Ⅱ)
- And they all forsook him, and fled. (Ⅲ)
- Tunc discipuli ejus relinquentes eum, omnes fugerunt. (Ⅳ)
