Et j'entendis une voix forte qui venait du temple, et qui disait aux sept anges: Allez, et versez sur la terre les sept coupes de la colère de Dieu.
- And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ἤκουσα ⸂μεγάλης φωνῆς⸃ ἐκ τοῦ ναοῦ λεγούσης τοῖς ἑπτὰ ἀγγέλοις· Ὑπάγετε καὶ ⸀ἐκχέετε τὰς ἑπτὰ φιάλας τοῦ θυμοῦ τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς τὴν γῆν. (Ⅲ) - Et audivi vocem magnam de templo, dicentem septem angelis : Ite, et effundite septem phialas iræ Dei in terram. (Ⅳ)

Le premier alla, et il versa sa coupe sur la terre. Et un ulcère malin et douloureux frappa les hommes qui avaient la marque de la bête et qui adoraient son image.
- And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ πρῶτος καὶ ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν γῆν· καὶ ἐγένετο ἕλκος κακὸν καὶ πονηρὸν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς ἔχοντας τὸ χάραγμα τοῦ θηρίου καὶ τοὺς προσκυνοῦντας τῇ εἰκόνι αὐτοῦ. (Ⅲ) - Et abiit primus, et effudit phialam suam in terram, et factum est vulnus sævum et pessimum in homines, qui habebant caracterem bestiæ, et in eos qui adoraverunt imaginem ejus. (Ⅳ)

Le second versa sa coupe dans la mer. Et elle devint du sang, comme celui d'un mort; et tout être vivant mourut, tout ce qui était dans la mer.
- And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ὁ ⸀δεύτερος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν· καὶ ἐγένετο αἷμα ὡς νεκροῦ, καὶ πᾶσα ψυχὴ ⸀ζωῆς ἀπέθανεν ⸀τὰ ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ. (Ⅲ) - Et secundus angelus effudit phialam suam in mare, et factus est sanguis tamquam mortui : et omnis anima vivens mortua est in mari. (Ⅳ)

Le troisième versa sa coupe dans les fleuves et dans les sources d'eaux. Et ils devinrent du sang.
- And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ὁ τρίτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ εἰς τοὺς ποταμοὺς ⸀καὶ τὰς πηγὰς τῶν ὑδάτων· καὶ ἐγένετο αἷμα. (Ⅲ) - Et tertius effudit phialam suam super flumina, et super fontes aquarum, et factus est sanguis. (Ⅳ)

Et j'entendis l'ange des eaux qui disait: Tu es juste, toi qui es, et qui étais; tu es saint, parce que tu as exercé ce jugement.
- And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἤκουσα τοῦ ἀγγέλου τῶν ὑδάτων λέγοντος· Δίκαιος εἶ, ὁ ὢν καὶ ὁ ἦν, ⸀ὁ ὅσιος, ὅτι ταῦτα ἔκρινας, (Ⅲ) - Et audivi angelum aquarum dicentem : Justus es, Domine, qui es, et qui eras sanctus, qui hæc judicasti : (Ⅳ)

Car ils ont versé le sang des saints et des prophètes, et tu leur as donné du sang à boire: ils en sont dignes.
- For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι αἷμα ἁγίων καὶ προφητῶν ἐξέχεαν, καὶ αἷμα αὐτοῖς ⸀δέδωκας πιεῖν· ἄξιοί εἰσιν. (Ⅲ) - quia sanguinem sanctorum et prophetarum effuderunt, et sanguinem eis dedisti bibere : digni enim sunt. (Ⅳ)

Et j'entendis l'autel qui disait: Oui, Seigneur Dieu tout puissant, tes jugements sont véritables et justes.
- And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἤκουσα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου λέγοντος· Ναί, κύριε, ὁ θεός, ὁ παντοκράτωρ, ἀληθιναὶ καὶ δίκαιαι αἱ κρίσεις σου. (Ⅲ) - Et audivi alterum ab altari dicentem : Etiam Domine Deus omnipotens, vera et justa judicia tua. (Ⅳ)

Le quatrième versa sa coupe sur le soleil. Et il lui fut donné de brûler les hommes par le feu;
- And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ὁ ⸀τέταρτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ἥλιον· καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ καυματίσαι ⸂τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἐν πυρί⸃. (Ⅲ) - Et quartus angelus effudit phialam suam in solem, et datum est illi æstu affligere homines, et igni : (Ⅳ)

et les hommes furent brûlés par une grande chaleur, et ils blasphémèrent le nom du Dieu qui a l'autorité sur ces fléaux, et ils ne se repentirent pas pour lui donner gloire.
- And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκαυματίσθησαν οἱ ἄνθρωποι καῦμα μέγα· καὶ ⸀ἐβλασφήμησαν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ἔχοντος ⸀τὴν ἐξουσίαν ἐπὶ τὰς πληγὰς ταύτας, καὶ οὐ μετενόησαν δοῦναι αὐτῷ δόξαν. (Ⅲ) - et æstuaverunt homines æstu magno, et blasphemaverunt nomen Dei habentis potestatem super has plagas, neque egerunt pœnitentiam ut darent illi gloriam. (Ⅳ)

Le cinquième versa sa coupe sur le trône de la bête. Et son royaume fut couvert de ténèbres; et les hommes se mordaient la langue de douleur,
- And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ὁ πέμπτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον τοῦ θηρίου· καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ βασιλεία αὐτοῦ ἐσκοτωμένη, καὶ ἐμασῶντο τὰς γλώσσας αὐτῶν ἐκ τοῦ πόνου, (Ⅲ) - Et quintus angelus effudit phialam suam super sedem bestiæ : et factum est regnum ejus tenebrosum, et commanducaverunt linguas suas præ dolore : (Ⅳ)

et ils blasphémèrent le Dieu du ciel, à cause de leurs douleurs et de leurs ulcères, et ils ne se repentirent pas de leurs oeuvres.
- And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐβλασφήμησαν τὸν θεὸν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐκ τῶν πόνων αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἑλκῶν αὐτῶν, καὶ οὐ μετενόησαν ἐκ τῶν ἔργων αὐτῶν. (Ⅲ) - et blasphemaverunt Deum cæli præ doloribus, et vulneribus suis, et non egerunt pœnitentiam ex operibus suis. (Ⅳ)

Le sixième versa sa coupe sur le grand fleuve, l'Euphrate. Et son eau tarit, afin que le chemin des rois venant de l'Orient fût préparé.
- And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ὁ ἕκτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ποταμὸν τὸν μέγαν ⸀τὸν Εὐφράτην· καὶ ἐξηράνθη τὸ ὕδωρ αὐτοῦ, ἵνα ἑτοιμασθῇ ἡ ὁδὸς τῶν βασιλέων τῶν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῆς ἡλίου. (Ⅲ) - Et sextus angelus effudit phialam suam in flumen illud magnum Euphraten : et siccavit aquam ejus, ut præpararetur via regibus ab ortu solis. (Ⅳ)

Et je vis sortir de la bouche du dragon, et de la bouche de la bête, et de la bouche du faux prophète, trois esprits impurs, semblables à des grenouilles.
- And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἶδον ἐκ τοῦ στόματος τοῦ δράκοντος καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος τοῦ θηρίου καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος τοῦ ψευδοπροφήτου πνεύματα ⸂τρία ἀκάθαρτα⸃ ὡς βάτραχοι· (Ⅲ) - Et vidi de ore draconis, et de ore bestiæ, et de ore pseudoprophetæ spiritus tres immundos in modum ranarum. (Ⅳ)

Car ce sont des esprits de démons, qui font des prodiges, et qui vont vers les rois de toute la terre, afin de les rassembler pour le combat du grand jour du Dieu tout puissant.
- For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Ⅱ) - εἰσὶν γὰρ πνεύματα δαιμονίων ποιοῦντα σημεῖα, ἃ ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ τοὺς βασιλεῖς τῆς οἰκουμένης ὅλης, συναγαγεῖν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν πόλεμον τῆς ⸀ἡμέρας τῆς μεγάλης τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ παντοκράτορος — (Ⅲ) - Sunt enim spiritus dæmoniorum facientes signa, et procedunt ad reges totius terræ congregare illos in prælium ad diem magnum omnipotentis Dei. (Ⅳ)

Voici, je viens comme un voleur. Heureux celui qui veille, et qui garde ses vêtements, afin qu'il ne marche pas nu et qu'on ne voie pas sa honte! -
- Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (Ⅱ) - Ἰδοὺ ἔρχομαι ὡς κλέπτης. μακάριος ὁ γρηγορῶν καὶ τηρῶν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ, ἵνα μὴ γυμνὸς περιπατῇ καὶ βλέπωσιν τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτοῦ — (Ⅲ) - Ecce venio sicut fur. Beatus qui vigilat, et custodit vestimenta sua, ne nudus ambulet, et videant turpitudinem ejus. (Ⅳ)

Ils les rassemblèrent dans le lieu appelé en hébreu Harmaguédon.
- And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συνήγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν τόπον τὸν καλούμενον Ἑβραϊστὶ Ἁρμαγεδών. (Ⅲ) - Et congregabit illos in locum qui vocatur hebraice Armagedon. (Ⅳ)

Le septième versa sa coupe dans l'air. Et il sortit du temple, du trône, une voix forte qui disait: C'en est fait!
- And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ ὁ ἕβδομος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ἀέρα — καὶ ἐξῆλθεν φωνὴ μεγάλη ⸀ἐκ τοῦ ⸀ναοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ θρόνου λέγουσα· Γέγονεν — (Ⅲ) - Et septimus angelus effudit phialam suam in aërem, et exivit vox magna de templo a throno, dicens : Factum est. (Ⅳ)

Et il y eut des éclairs, des voix, des tonnerres, et un grand tremblement de terre, tel qu'il n'y avait jamais eu depuis que l'homme est sur la terre, un aussi grand tremblement.
- And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένοντο ἀστραπαὶ καὶ ⸂φωναὶ καὶ βρονταί⸃, καὶ σεισμὸς ⸀ἐγένετο μέγας, οἷος οὐκ ἐγένετο ἀφ’ οὗ ⸂ἄνθρωποι ἐγένοντο⸃ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τηλικοῦτος σεισμὸς οὕτω μέγας, (Ⅲ) - Et facta sunt fulgura, et voces, et tonitrua, et terræmotus factus est magnus, qualis numquam fuit ex quo homines fuerunt super terram : talis terræmotus, sic magnus. (Ⅳ)

Et la grande ville fut divisée en trois parties, et les villes des nations tombèrent, et Dieu, se souvint de Babylone la grande, pour lui donner la coupe du vin de son ardente colère.
- And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ πόλις ἡ μεγάλη εἰς τρία μέρη, καὶ αἱ πόλεις τῶν ἐθνῶν ἔπεσαν· καὶ Βαβυλὼν ἡ μεγάλη ἐμνήσθη ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ δοῦναι αὐτῇ τὸ ποτήριον τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ θυμοῦ τῆς ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ· (Ⅲ) - Et facta est civitas magna in tres partes : et civitates gentium ceciderunt. Et Babylon magna venit in memoriam ante Deum, dare illi calicem vini indignationis iræ ejus. (Ⅳ)

Et toutes les îles s'enfuirent, et les montagnes ne furent pas retrouvées.
- And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πᾶσα νῆσος ἔφυγεν, καὶ ὄρη οὐχ εὑρέθησαν. (Ⅲ) - Et omnis insula fugit, et montes non sunt inventi. (Ⅳ)

Et une grosse grêle, dont les grêlons pesaient un talent, tomba du ciel sur les hommes; et les hommes blasphémèrent Dieu, à cause du fléau de la grêle, parce que ce fléau était très grand.
- And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. (Ⅱ) - καὶ χάλαζα μεγάλη ὡς ταλαντιαία καταβαίνει ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀνθρώπους· καὶ ἐβλασφήμησαν οἱ ἄνθρωποι τὸν θεὸν ἐκ τῆς πληγῆς τῆς χαλάζης, ὅτι μεγάλη ἐστὶν ἡ πληγὴ αὐτῆς σφόδρα. (Ⅲ) - Et grando magna sicut talentum descendit de cælo in homines : et blasphemaverunt Deum homines propter plagam grandinis : quoniam magna facta est vehementer. (Ⅳ)
