Puis je vis dans la main droite de celui qui était assis sur le trône un livre écrit en dedans et en dehors, scellé de sept sceaux.
- And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ εἶδον ἐπὶ τὴν δεξιὰν τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου βιβλίον γεγραμμένον ἔσωθεν καὶ ⸀ὄπισθεν, κατεσφραγισμένον σφραγῖσιν ἑπτά. (Ⅲ) - Et vidi in dextera sedentis supra thronum, librum scriptum intus et foris, signatum sigillis septem. (Ⅳ)

Et je vis un ange puissant, qui criait d'une voix forte: Qui est digne d'ouvrir le livre, et d'en rompre les sceaux?
- And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἶδον ἄγγελον ἰσχυρὸν κηρύσσοντα ἐν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ· Τίς ⸀ἄξιος ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον καὶ λῦσαι τὰς σφραγῖδας αὐτοῦ; (Ⅲ) - Et vidi angelum fortem, prædicantem voce magna : Quis est dignus aperire librum, et solvere signacula ejus ? (Ⅳ)

Et personne dans le ciel, ni sur la terre, ni sous la terre, ne put ouvrir le livre ni le regarder.
- And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐδύνατο ἐν τῷ ⸀οὐρανῷ ⸂οὐδὲ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς οὐδὲ⸃ ὑποκάτω τῆς γῆς ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον οὔτε βλέπειν αὐτό. (Ⅲ) - Et nemo poterat neque in cælo, neque in terra, neque subtus terram aperire librum, neque respicere illum. (Ⅳ)

Et je pleurai beaucoup de ce que personne ne fut trouvé digne d'ouvrir le livre ni de le regarder.
- And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ⸀ἐγὼ ἔκλαιον πολὺ ὅτι οὐδεὶς ἄξιος εὑρέθη ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον οὔτε βλέπειν αὐτό· (Ⅲ) - Et ego flebam multum, quoniam nemo dignus inventus est aperire librum, nec videre eum. (Ⅳ)

Et l'un des vieillards me dit: Ne pleure point; voici, le lion de la tribu de Juda, le rejeton de David, a vaincu pour ouvrir le livre et ses sept sceaux.
- And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἷς ἐκ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων λέγει μοι· Μὴ κλαῖε· ἰδοὺ ἐνίκησεν ὁ λέων ὁ ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Ἰούδα, ἡ ῥίζα Δαυίδ, ⸀ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον καὶ τὰς ἑπτὰ σφραγῖδας αὐτοῦ. (Ⅲ) - Et unus de senioribus dixit mihi : Ne fleveris : ecce vicit leo de tribu Juda, radix David, aperire librum, et solvere septem signacula ejus. (Ⅳ)

Et je vis, au milieu du trône et des quatre êtres vivants et au milieu des vieillards, un agneau qui était là comme immolé. Il avait sept cornes et sept yeux, qui sont les sept esprits de Dieu envoyés par toute la terre.
- And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. (Ⅱ) - Καὶ εἶδον ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ τῶν τεσσάρων ζῴων καὶ ἐν μέσῳ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων ἀρνίον ⸀ἑστηκὸς ὡς ἐσφαγμένον, ⸀ἔχων κέρατα ἑπτὰ καὶ ὀφθαλμοὺς ἑπτά, ⸀οἵ εἰσιν τὰ ἑπτὰ πνεύματα τοῦ θεοῦ, ⸀ἀπεσταλμένοι εἰς πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν. (Ⅲ) - Et vidi : et ecce in medio throni et quatuor animalium, et in medio seniorum, Agnum stantem tamquam occisum, habentem cornua septem, et oculos septem : qui sunt septem spiritus Dei, missi in omnem terram. (Ⅳ)

Il vint, et il prit le livre de la main droite de celui qui était assis sur le trône.
- And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἦλθεν καὶ εἴληφεν ἐκ τῆς δεξιᾶς τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου. (Ⅲ) - Et venit : et accepit de dextera sedentis in throno librum. (Ⅳ)

Quand il eut pris le livre, les quatre êtres vivants et les vingt-quatre vieillards se prosternèrent devant l'agneau, tenant chacun une harpe et des coupes d'or remplies de parfums, qui sont les prières des saints.
- And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὅτε ἔλαβεν τὸ βιβλίον, τὰ τέσσαρα ζῷα καὶ οἱ εἴκοσι τέσσαρες πρεσβύτεροι ἔπεσαν ἐνώπιον τοῦ ἀρνίου, ἔχοντες ἕκαστος κιθάραν καὶ φιάλας χρυσᾶς γεμούσας θυμιαμάτων, αἵ εἰσιν ⸀αἱ προσευχαὶ τῶν ἁγίων· (Ⅲ) - Et cum aperuisset librum, quatuor animalia, et viginti quatuor seniores ceciderunt coram Agno, habentes singuli citharas, et phialas aureas plenas odoramentorum, quæ sunt orationes sanctorum : (Ⅳ)

Et ils chantaient un cantique nouveau, en disant: Tu es digne de prendre le livre, et d'en ouvrir les sceaux; car tu as été immolé, et tu as racheté pour Dieu par ton sang des hommes de toute tribu, de toute langue, de tout peuple, et de toute nation;
- And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ᾄδουσιν ᾠδὴν καινὴν λέγοντες· Ἄξιος εἶ λαβεῖν τὸ βιβλίον καὶ ἀνοῖξαι τὰς σφραγῖδας αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐσφάγης καὶ ἠγόρασας τῷ ⸀θεῷ ἐν τῷ αἵματί σου ἐκ πάσης φυλῆς καὶ γλώσσης καὶ λαοῦ καὶ ἔθνους, (Ⅲ) - et cantabant canticum novum, dicentes : Dignus es, Domine, accipere librum, et aperire signacula ejus : quoniam occisus es, et redemisti nos Deo in sanguine tuo ex omni tribu, et lingua, et populo, et natione : (Ⅳ)

tu as fait d'eux un royaume et des sacrificateurs pour notre Dieu, et ils régneront sur la terre.
- And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησας αὐτοὺς τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν ⸀βασιλείαν καὶ ἱερεῖς, καὶ ⸀βασιλεύουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. (Ⅲ) - et fecisti nos Deo nostro regnum, et sacerdotes : et regnabimus super terram. (Ⅳ)

Je regardai, et j'entendis la voix de beaucoup d'anges autour du trône et des êtres vivants et des vieillards, et leur nombre était des myriades de myriades et des milliers de milliers.
- And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; (Ⅱ) - Καὶ εἶδον, καὶ ⸀ἤκουσα φωνὴν ἀγγέλων πολλῶν κύκλῳ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ τῶν ζῴων καὶ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων, καὶ ἦν ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν μυριάδες μυριάδων καὶ χιλιάδες χιλιάδων, (Ⅲ) - Et vidi, et audivi vocem angelorum multorum in circuitu throni, et animalium, et seniorum : et erat numerus eorum millia millium, (Ⅳ)

Ils disaient d'une voix forte: L'agneau qui a été immolé est digne de recevoir la puissance, la richesse, la sagesse, la force, l'honneur, la gloire, et la louange.
- Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. (Ⅱ) - λέγοντες φωνῇ μεγάλῃ· Ἄξιόν ἐστιν τὸ ἀρνίον τὸ ἐσφαγμένον λαβεῖν τὴν δύναμιν ⸀καὶ πλοῦτον καὶ σοφίαν καὶ ἰσχὺν καὶ τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν καὶ εὐλογίαν. (Ⅲ) - dicentium voce magna : Dignus est Agnus, qui occisus est, accipere virtutem, et divinitatem, et sapientiam, et fortitudinem, et honorem, et gloriam, et benedictionem. (Ⅳ)

Et toutes les créatures qui sont dans le ciel, sur la terre, sous la terre, sur la mer, et tout ce qui s'y trouve, je les entendis qui disaient: A celui qui est assis sur le trône, et à l'agneau, soient la louange, l'honneur, la gloire, et la force, aux siècles des siècles!
- And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πᾶν κτίσμα ὃ ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ ὑποκάτω τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς ⸀θαλάσσης, καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς ⸀πάντα, ἤκουσα λέγοντας· Τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ ⸂τῷ θρόνῳ⸃ καὶ τῷ ἀρνίῳ ἡ εὐλογία καὶ ἡ τιμὴ καὶ ἡ δόξα καὶ τὸ κράτος εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν ⸀αἰώνων. (Ⅲ) - Et omnem creaturam, quæ in cælo est, et super terram, et sub terra, et quæ sunt in mari, et quæ in eo : omnes audivi dicentes : Sedenti in throno, et Agno, benedictio et honor, et gloria, et potestas in sæcula sæculorum. (Ⅳ)

Et les quatre êtres vivants disaient: Amen! Et les vieillards se prosternèrent et adorèrent.
- And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰ τέσσαρα ζῷα ⸀ἔλεγον· Ἀμήν. καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι ἔπεσαν καὶ προσεκύνησαν. (Ⅲ) - Et quatuor animalia dicebant : Amen. Et viginti quatuor seniores ceciderunt in facies suas : et adoraverunt viventem in sæcula sæculorum. (Ⅳ)
