26. 50  
They said, ´There is no harm; surely unto our Lord we are turning.
- Qaloo la dayra inna ila rabbina munqaliboona (Ⅰ)
- They said, "No matter! Verily, unto our Lord do we (or "will we" or "in any case") return! (Ⅱ)
- They said: It is no hurt, for lo! unto our Lord we shall return. (Ⅲ)
- قَالُوا لَا ضَيْرَ ۖ إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ (Ⅳ)
- They said: "No matter! for us, we shall but return to our Lord! (Ⅵ)
26. 51  
We are eager that our Lord should forgive us our offences, for that we are the first of the believers.´
- Inna natmaAAu an yaghfira lana rabbuna khatayana an kunna awwala almumineena (Ⅰ)
- "Verily, we ardently hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins, for we are the foremost of believers!" (Ⅱ)
- Lo! we ardently hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we are the first of the believers. (Ⅲ)
- إِنَّا نَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَايَانَا أَن كُنَّا أَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (Ⅳ)
- "Only, our desire is that our Lord will forgive us our faults, that we may become foremost among the believers!" (Ⅵ)
26. 52  
Also We revealed unto Moses, ´Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.´
- Waawhayna ila moosa an asri biAAibadee innakum muttabaAAoona (Ⅰ)
- And We inspired Moses, saying, "Journey by night with my servants; verily, you are pursued." (Ⅱ)
- And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. (Ⅲ)
- ۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ (Ⅳ)
- By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." (Ⅵ)
26. 53  
Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers:
- Faarsala firAAawnu fee almadaini hashireena (Ⅰ)
- And Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, (Ⅱ)
- Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, (Ⅲ)
- فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ (Ⅳ)
- Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, (Ⅵ)
26. 54  
´Behold, these are a small troop,
- Inna haolai lashirthimatun qaleeloona (Ⅰ)
- (Who said) "Verily, these are a small company. (Ⅱ)
- (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, (Ⅲ)
- إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيلُونَ (Ⅳ)
- (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, (Ⅵ)
26. 55  
and indeed they are enraging us;
- Wainnahum lana laghaithoona (Ⅰ)
- "And, verily, they are offenders against us; (Ⅱ)
- And lo! they are offenders against us. (Ⅲ)
- وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَائِظُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "And they are raging furiously against us; (Ⅵ)
26. 56  
and we are a host on our guard.´
- Wainna lajameeAAun hathiroona (Ⅰ)
- "But we are a multitude and wary. (Ⅱ)
- And lo! we are a ready host. (Ⅲ)
- وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَاذِرُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." (Ⅵ)
26. 57  
So We expelled them from gardens and fountains,
- Faakhrajnahum min jannatin waAAuyoonin (Ⅰ)
- (") So we (or We) expelled them out of gardens and springs, (Ⅱ)
- Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, (Ⅲ)
- فَأَخْرَجْنَاهُم مِّن جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ (Ⅳ)
- So We expelled them from gardens, springs, (Ⅵ)
26. 58  
and treasures and a noble station;
- Wakunoozin wamaqamin kareemin (Ⅰ)
- (") And treasures, and noble positions.(") (Ⅱ)
- And treasures and a fair estate. (Ⅲ)
- وَكُنُوزٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ (Ⅳ)
- Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; (Ⅵ)
26. 59  
even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel.
- Kathalika waawrathnaha banee israeela (Ⅰ)
- Thus it was, but We made the children of Israel inheritors of these things. (Ⅱ)
- Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. (Ⅲ)
- كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ (Ⅳ)
- Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. (Ⅵ)
26. 60  
Then they followed them at the sunrise;
- FaatbaAAoohum mushriqeena (Ⅰ)
- And they pursued them at dawn; (Ⅱ)
- And they overtook them at sunrise. (Ⅲ)
- فَأَتْبَعُوهُم مُّشْرِقِينَ (Ⅳ)
- So they pursued them at sunrise. (Ⅵ)
26. 61  
and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, ´We are overtaken!´
- Falamma taraa aljamAAani qala ashabu moosa inna lamudrakoona (Ⅰ)
- And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Moses said, "Verily, we are overtaken!" (Ⅱ)
- And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. (Ⅲ)
- فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَى الْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَىٰ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ (Ⅳ)
- And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." (Ⅵ)
26. 62  
Said he, ´No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.´
- Qala kalla inna maAAiya rabbee sayahdeeni (Ⅰ)
- Said he, "Not so; verily, my Lord is with me. He will guide me." (Ⅱ)
- He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. (Ⅲ)
- قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ (Ⅳ)
- (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" (Ⅵ)
26. 63  
Then We revealed to Moses, ´Strike with thy staff the sea´; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount.
- Faawhayna ila moosa ani idrib biAAasaka albahra fainfalaqa fakana kullu firqin kaalttawdi alAAatheemi (Ⅰ)
- And We inspired Moses, saying, "Strike the sea with your rod." And it was cleft asunder, and each part was like a mighty mountain. (Ⅱ)
- Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. (Ⅲ)
- فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنِ اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ ۖ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ (Ⅳ)
- Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. (Ⅵ)
26. 64  
And there We brought the others on,
- Waazlafna thamma alakhareena (Ⅰ)
- And then We brought the others thither. (Ⅱ)
- Then brought We near the others to that place. (Ⅲ)
- وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الْآخَرِينَ (Ⅳ)
- And We made the other party approach thither. (Ⅵ)
26. 65  
and We delivered Moses and those with him all together;
- Waanjayna moosa waman maAAahu ajmaAAeena (Ⅰ)
- And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; (Ⅱ)
- And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; (Ⅲ)
- وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ (Ⅳ)
- We delivered Moses and all who were with him; (Ⅵ)
26. 66  
then We drowned the others.
- Thumma aghraqna alakhareena (Ⅰ)
- We drowned the others. (Ⅱ)
- And We drowned the others. (Ⅲ)
- ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ (Ⅳ)
- But We drowned the others. (Ⅵ)
26. 67  
Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers.
- Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena (Ⅰ)
- Lo! Herein is indeed a sign: but most of them are not believers. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. (Ⅲ)
- إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ (Ⅳ)
- Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. (Ⅵ)
26. 68  
Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate.
- Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu (Ⅰ)
- And, verily, your Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. (Ⅱ)
- And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ (Ⅳ)
- And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. (Ⅵ)
26. 69  
And recite to them the tiding of Abraham
- Waotlu AAalayhim nabaa ibraheema (Ⅰ)
- And recite unto them the story of Abraham; (Ⅱ)
- Recite unto them the story of Abraham: (Ⅲ)
- وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ (Ⅳ)
- And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham´s story. (Ⅵ)
26. 70  
when he said to his father and his people, ´What do you serve?´
- Ith qala liabeehi waqawmihi ma taAAbudoona (Ⅰ)
- When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?" (Ⅱ)
- When he said unto his father and his folk: What worship ye ? (Ⅲ)
- إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ (Ⅳ)
- Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" (Ⅵ)
26. 71  
They said, ´We serve idols, and continue cleaving to them.
- Qaloo naAAbudu asnaman fanathallu laha AAakifeena (Ⅰ)
- They said, "We worship idols, and we are devoted to them." (Ⅱ)
- They said: We worship idols, and are ever devoted unto them. (Ⅲ)
- قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَاكِفِينَ (Ⅳ)
- They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." (Ⅵ)
26. 72  
He said, ´Do they hear you when you call,
- Qala hal yasmaAAoonakum ith tadAAoona (Ⅰ)
- He said, "Can they hear you when you call? (Ⅱ)
- He said: Do they hear you when ye cry ? (Ⅲ)
- قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ (Ⅳ)
- He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?" (Ⅵ)
26. 73  
or do they profit you, or harm?´
- Aw yanfaAAoonakum aw yadurroona (Ⅰ)
- "Or benefit you, or harm you?" (Ⅱ)
- Or do they benefit or harm you ? (Ⅲ)
- أَوْ يَنفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ (Ⅳ)
- "Or do you good or harm?" (Ⅵ)
26. 74  
They said, ´Nay, but we found our fathers so doing.´
- Qaloo bal wajadna abaana kathalika yafAAaloona (Ⅰ)
- They said, "No; but we found our fathers doing thus." (Ⅱ)
- They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. (Ⅲ)
- قَالُوا بَلْ وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ (Ⅳ)
- They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)." (Ⅵ)
26. 75  
He said, ´And have you considered what you have been serving,
- Qala afaraaytum ma kuntum taAAbudoona (Ⅰ)
- He said, "Have you considered that which you worship (or serve), (Ⅱ)
- He said: See now that which ye worship, (Ⅲ)
- قَالَ أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ (Ⅳ)
- He said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping,- (Ⅵ)
26. 76  
you and your fathers, the elders?
- Antum waabaokumu alaqdamoona (Ⅰ)
- "You and your forefathers? (Ⅱ)
- Ye and your forefathers! (Ⅲ)
- أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمُ الْأَقْدَمُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "Ye and your fathers before you?- (Ⅵ)
26. 77  
They are an enemy to me, except the Lord of all Being
- Fainnahum AAaduwwun lee illa rabba alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- "Verily, they are foes unto me, save only the Lord of the Worlds, (Ⅱ)
- Lo! they are (all) an enemy unto me, save the Lord of the Worlds, (Ⅲ)
- فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّي إِلَّا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ (Ⅳ)
- "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds; (Ⅵ)
26. 78  
who created me, and Himself guides me,
- Allathee khalaqanee fahuwa yahdeeni (Ⅰ)
- "Who created me and does guide me, (Ⅱ)
- Who created me, and He doth guide me, (Ⅲ)
- الَّذِي خَلَقَنِي فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ (Ⅳ)
- "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me; (Ⅵ)
26. 79  
and Himself gives me to eat and drink,
- Waallathee huwa yutAAimunee wayasqeeni (Ⅰ)
- "And who feeds me food and waters me. (Ⅱ)
- And Who feedeth me and watereth me. (Ⅲ)
- وَالَّذِي هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِ (Ⅳ)
- "Who gives me food and drink, (Ⅵ)
26. 80  
and, whenever I am sick, heals me,
- Waitha maridtu fahuwa yashfeeni (Ⅰ)
- "And when I am sick He heals me; (Ⅱ)
- And when I sicken, then He healeth me, (Ⅲ)
- وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ (Ⅳ)
- "And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me; (Ⅵ)
26. 81  
who makes me to die, then gives me life,
- Waallathee yumeetunee thumma yuhyeeni (Ⅰ)
- "He who causes me to die, and then gives me life again, (Ⅱ)
- And Who causeth me to die, then giveth me life (again), (Ⅲ)
- وَالَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ (Ⅳ)
- "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); (Ⅵ)
26. 82  
and who I am eager shall forgive me my offence on the Day of Doom.
- Waallathee atmaAAu an yaghfira lee khateeatee yawma alddeeni (Ⅰ)
- "And who, I ardently hope, will forgive me my sins on the Day of Judgment. (Ⅱ)
- And Who, I ardently hope, will forgive me my sin on the Day of Judgment. (Ⅲ)
- وَالَّذِي أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِي خَطِيئَتِي يَوْمَ الدِّينِ (Ⅳ)
- "And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment. (Ⅵ)
26. 83  
My Lord, give me Judgment, and join me with the righteous,
- Rabbi hab lee hukman waalhiqnee bialssaliheena (Ⅰ)
- "My Lord, grant me wisdom (or judgment), and let me join the righteous; (Ⅱ)
- My Lord! Vouchsafe me wisdom and unite me to the righteous. (Ⅲ)
- رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ (Ⅳ)
- "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; (Ⅵ)
26. 84  
and appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the others.
- WaijAAal lee lisana sidqin fee alakhireena (Ⅰ)
- "And give me a good report amongst the later generations; (Ⅱ)
- And give unto me a good report in later generations. (Ⅲ)
- وَاجْعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ (Ⅳ)
- "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations); (Ⅵ)
26. 85  
Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss
- WaijAAalnee min warathati jannati alnnaAAeemi (Ⅰ)
- "And place me among the heirs of the Garden of Delight, (Ⅱ)
- And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Delight, (Ⅲ)
- وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ (Ⅳ)
- "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; (Ⅵ)
26. 86  
and forgive my father, for he is one of those astray.
- Waighfir liabee innahu kana mina alddalleena (Ⅰ)
- "And forgive my father. Verily, he is of those who err; (Ⅱ)
- And forgive my father. Lo! he is of those who err. (Ⅲ)
- وَاغْفِرْ لِأَبِي إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ (Ⅳ)
- "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; (Ⅵ)
26. 87  
Degrade me not upon the day when they are raised up,
- Wala tukhzinee yawma yubAAathoona (Ⅰ)
- "And disgrace me not on the Day when they are raised; (Ⅱ)
- And abase me not on the day when they are raised, (Ⅲ)
- وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up;- (Ⅵ)
26. 88  
the day when neither wealth nor sons shall profit
- Yawma la yanfaAAu malun wala banoona (Ⅰ)
- "The Day when wealth shall profit not, nor sons, (Ⅱ)
- The day when wealth and sons avail not (any man) (Ⅲ)
- يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, (Ⅵ)
26. 89  
except for him who comes to God with a pure heart.
- Illa man ata Allaha biqalbin saleemin (Ⅰ)
- "But only he who comes to Allah with a whole (sound) heart. (Ⅱ)
- Save him who bringeth unto Allah a whole heart. (Ⅲ)
- إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ (Ⅳ)
- "But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart; (Ⅵ)
26. 90  
And Paradise shall be brought forward for the godfearing,
- Waozlifati aljannatu lilmuttaqeena (Ⅰ)
- "And the Garden will be brought near to the righteous; (Ⅱ)
- And the Garden will be brought nigh for those who ward off (evil). (Ⅲ)
- وَأُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ (Ⅳ)
- "To the righteous, the Garden will be brought near, (Ⅵ)
26. 91  
and Hell advanced for the perverse.
- Waburrizati aljaheemu lilghaweena (Ⅰ)
- "And Hell shall be brought forth plainly to those who go astray, (Ⅱ)
- And hell will appear plainly to the erring. (Ⅲ)
- وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ (Ⅳ)
- "And to those straying in Evil, the Fire will be placed in full view; (Ⅵ)
26. 92  
It shall be said to them, ´Where is that you were serving
- Waqeela lahum ayna ma kuntum taAAbudoona (Ⅰ)
- "And it will be said unto them, ´Where is all that you used to worship (Ⅱ)
- And it will be said unto them: Where is (all) that ye used to worship (Ⅲ)
- وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "And it shall be said to them: ´Where are the (gods) ye worshipped- (Ⅵ)
26. 93  
apart from God? Do they help you or help themselves?´
- Min dooni Allahi hal yansuroonakum aw yantasiroona (Ⅰ)
- "Beside Allah? Can they help you, or help themselves?´ (Ⅱ)
- Instead of Allah ? Can they help you or help themselves ? (Ⅲ)
- مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "´Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?´ (Ⅵ)
26. 94  
Then they shall be pitched into it, they and the perverse
- Fakubkiboo feeha hum waalghawoona (Ⅰ)
- "Then they shall be hurled therein, they and the seducers, (Ⅱ)
- Then will they be hurled therein, they and the seducers (Ⅲ)
- فَكُبْكِبُوا فِيهَا هُمْ وَالْغَاوُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "Then they will be thrown headlong into the (Fire),- they and those straying in Evil, (Ⅵ)
26. 95  
and the hosts of Iblis, all together.
- Wajunoodu ibleesa ajmaAAoona (Ⅰ)
- "And the hosts of Iblis all together! (Ⅱ)
- And the hosts of Iblis, together. (Ⅲ)
- وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "And the whole hosts of Iblis together. (Ⅵ)
26. 96  
They shall say, as they dispute there one with another,
- Qaloo wahum feeha yakhtasimoona (Ⅰ)
- "They shall say, while they quarrel therein, (Ⅱ)
- And they will say, when they are quarrelling therein: (Ⅲ)
- قَالُوا وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: (Ⅵ)
26. 97  
´By God, we were certainly in manifest error
- TaAllahi in kunna lafee dalalin mubeenin (Ⅰ)
- "´By Allah! In truth, we were in manifest error, (Ⅱ)
- By Allah, of a truth we were in error manifest (Ⅲ)
- تَاللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ (Ⅳ)
- "´By Allah, we were truly in an error manifest, (Ⅵ)
26. 98  
when we made you equal with the Lord of all Being.
- Ith nusawweekum birabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- "´When we made you equal to the Lord of the Worlds! (Ⅱ)
- When we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. (Ⅲ)
- إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (Ⅳ)
- "´When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds; (Ⅵ)
26. 99  
It was naught but the sinners that led us astray;
- Wama adallana illa almujrimoona (Ⅰ)
- "´It was only the guilty who led us astray. (Ⅱ)
- It was but the guilty who misled us. (Ⅲ)
- وَمَا أَضَلَّنَا إِلَّا الْمُجْرِمُونَ (Ⅳ)
- "´And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. (Ⅵ)
