Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt.
- Inna hatha ma kuntum bihi tamtaroona (Ⅰ) - "´Surely this is what you used to doubt!´" (Ⅱ) - This is that concerning which you were doubting.´ (Ⅲ) - إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِ تَمْتَرُونَ (Ⅳ) - "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" (Ⅵ)

Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured.
- Inna almuttaqeena fee maqamin ameenin (Ⅰ) - Surely the righteous are in a secure place, (Ⅱ) - Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure (Ⅲ) - إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ (Ⅳ) - As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, (Ⅵ)

Amid gardens and watersprings,
- Fee jannatin waAAuyoonin (Ⅰ) - Amidst Gardens and springs; (Ⅱ) - among gardens and fountains, (Ⅲ) - فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ (Ⅳ) - Among Gardens and Springs; (Ⅵ)

Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another.
- Yalbasoona min sundusin waistabraqin mutaqabileena (Ⅰ) - Attired in fine silk and rich brocade, face to face; (Ⅱ) - robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. (Ⅲ) - يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ (Ⅳ) - Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; (Ⅵ)

Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes.
- Kathalika wazawwajnahum bihoorin AAeenin (Ⅰ) - Thus shall it be, and We will join them with Houris (pure and beautiful companions) with wide, lovely eyes. (Ⅱ) - Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, (Ⅲ) - كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ (Ⅳ) - So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. (Ⅵ)

They call therein for every fruit in safety.
- YadAAoona feeha bikulli fakihatin amineena (Ⅰ) - They shall call in safety therein for every fruit; (Ⅱ) - therein calling for every fruit, secure. (Ⅲ) - يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ آمِنِينَ (Ⅳ) - There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; (Ⅵ)

They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell,
- La yathooqoona feeha almawta illa almawtata aloola wawaqahum AAathaba aljaheemi (Ⅰ) - They taste not death therein except the first death (i.e. in this physical life), and He will have saved them from the doom of hell, (Ⅱ) - They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- (Ⅲ) - لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا الْمَوْتَ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَةَ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَاهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ (Ⅳ) - Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- (Ⅵ)

A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph.
- Fadlan min rabbika thalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheemu (Ⅰ) - A grace from your Lord; this is the supreme achievement (or triumph). (Ⅱ) - a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. (Ⅲ) - فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ (Ⅳ) - As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! (Ⅵ)

And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed.
- Fainnama yassarnahu bilisanika laAAallahum yatathakkaroona (Ⅰ) - Verily We have made it (the Quran) easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. (Ⅱ) - Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. (Ⅲ) - فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ (Ⅳ) - Verily, We have made this (Qur´an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. (Ⅵ)

Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting.
- Fairtaqib innahum murtaqiboona (Ⅰ) - Therefore wait (O Muhammad); they too are waiting. (Ⅱ) - So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. (Ⅲ) - فَارْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ (Ⅳ) - So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. (Ⅵ)
