The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
- La parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Michée, de Moréscheth, au temps de Jotham, d'Achaz, d'Ézéchias, rois de Juda, prophétie sur Samarie et Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Μιχαιαν τὸν του̃ Μωρασθι ἐν ἡμέραις Ιωαθαμ καὶ Αχαζ καὶ Εζεκιου βασιλέων Ιουδα ὑπὲρ ὡ̃ν εἰ̃δεν περὶ Σαμαρείας καὶ περὶ Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ) - Verbum Domini, quod factum est ad Michæam Morasthiten, in diebus Joathan, Achaz, et Ezechiæ, regum Juda, quod vidit super Samariam et Jerusalem.\ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃1 דבר יהוה אשר היה אל מיכה המרשתי בימי יותם אחז יחזקיה מלכי יהודה אשר חזה על שמרון וירושלם (Ⅴ)

Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.
- Écoutez, vous tous, peuples! Sois attentive, terre, et ce qui est en toi! Que le Seigneur, l'Éternel, soit témoin contre vous, Le Seigneur qui est dans le palais de sa sainteté! (Ⅱ) - ἀκούσατε λαοί λόγους καὶ προσεχέτω ἡ γη̃ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ καὶ ἔσται κύριος ἐν ὑμι̃ν εἰς μαρτύριον κύριος ἐξ οἴκου ἁγίου αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Audite, populi omnes,/ et attendat terra, et plenitudo ejus :/ et sit Dominus Deus vobis in testem,/ Dominus de templo sancto suo./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃1 שמעו עמים כלם הקשיבי ארץ ומלאה ויהי אדני יהוה בכם לעד אדני מהיכל קדשו (Ⅴ)

For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
- Car voici, l'Éternel sort de sa demeure, Il descend, il marche sur les hauteurs de la terre. (Ⅱ) - διότι ἰδοὺ κύριος ἐκπορεύεται ἐκ του̃ τόπου αὐτου̃ καὶ καταβήσεται καὶ ἐπιβήσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὕψη τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Quia ecce Dominus egredietur de loco suo,/ et descendet, et calcabit super excelsa terræ./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃1 כי הנה יהוה יצא ממקומו וירד ודרך על *במותי **במתי ארץ (Ⅴ)

And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
- Sous lui les montagnes se fondent, Les vallées s'entr'ouvent, Comme la cire devant le feu, Comme l'eau qui coule sur une pente. (Ⅱ) - καὶ σαλευθήσεται τὰ ὄρη ὑποκάτωθεν αὐτου̃ καὶ αἱ κοιλάδες τακήσονται ὡς κηρὸς ἀπὸ προσώπου πυρὸς καὶ ὡς ὕδωρ καταφερόμενον ἐν καταβάσει (Ⅲ) - Et consumentur montes subtus eum,/ et valles scindentur sicut cera a facie ignis,/ et sicut aquæ quæ decurrunt in præceps./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃1 ונמסו ההרים תחתיו והעמקים יתבקעו כדונג מפני האש כמים מגרים במורד (Ⅴ)

For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
- Et tout cela à cause du crime de Jacob, A cause des péchés de la maison d'Israël! Quel est le crime de Jacob? n'est-ce pas Samarie? Quels sont les hauts lieux de Juda? n'est-ce pas Jérusalem?... (Ⅱ) - διὰ ἀσέβειαν Ιακωβ πάντα ταυ̃τα καὶ διὰ ἁμαρτίαν οἴκου Ισραηλ τίς ἡ ἀσέβεια του̃ Ιακωβ οὐ Σαμάρεια καὶ τίς ἡ ἁμαρτία οἴκου Ιουδα οὐχὶ Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ) - In scelere Jacob omne istud,/ et in peccatis domus Israël./ Quod scelus Jacob ? nonne Samaria ?/ et quæ excelsa Judæ ? nonne Jerusalem ?/ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃1 בפשע יעקב כל זאת ובחטאות בית ישראל מי פשע יעקב הלוא שמרון ומי במות יהודה הלוא ירושלם (Ⅴ)

Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
- Je ferai de Samarie un monceau de pierres dans les champs, Un lieu pour planter de la vigne; Je précipiterai ses pierres dans la vallée, Je mettrai à nu ses fondements. (Ⅱ) - καὶ θήσομαι Σαμάρειαν εἰς ὀπωροφυλάκιον ἀγρου̃ καὶ εἰς φυτείαν ἀμπελω̃νος καὶ κατασπάσω εἰς χάος τοὺς λίθους αὐτη̃ς καὶ τὰ θεμέλια αὐτη̃ς ἀποκαλύψω (Ⅲ) - Et ponam Samariam quasi acervum lapidum in agro,/ cum plantatur vinea ;/ et detraham in vallem lapides ejus,/ et fundamenta ejus revelabo./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃1 ושמתי שמרון לעי השדה למטעי כרם והגרתי לגי אבניה ויסדיה אגלה (Ⅴ)

And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
- Toutes ses images taillées seront brisées, Tous ses salaires impurs seront brûlés au feu, Et je ravagerai toutes ses idoles: Recueillies avec le salaire de la prostitution, Elles deviendront un salaire de prostitutions... (Ⅱ) - καὶ πάντα τὰ γλυπτὰ αὐτη̃ς κατακόψουσιν καὶ πάντα τὰ μισθώματα αὐτη̃ς ἐμπρήσουσιν ἐν πυρί καὶ πάντα τὰ εἴδωλα αὐτη̃ς θήσομαι εἰς ἀφανισμόν διότι ἐκ μισθωμάτων πορνείας συνήγαγεν καὶ ἐκ μισθωμάτων πορνείας συνέστρεψεν (Ⅲ) - Et omnia sculptilia ejus concidentur,/ et omnes mercedes ejus comburentur igne,/ et omnia idola ejus ponam in perditionem,/ quia de mercedibus meretricis congregata sunt,/ et usque ad mercedem meretricis revertentur./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃1 וכל פסיליה יכתו וכל אתנניה ישרפו באש וכל עצביה אשים שממה כי מאתנן זונה קבצה ועד אתנן זונה ישובו (Ⅴ)

Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
- C'est pourquoi je pleurerai, je me lamenterai, Je marcherai déchaussé et nu, Je pousserai des cris comme le chacal, Et des gémissements comme l'autruche. (Ⅱ) - ἕνεκεν τούτου κόψεται καὶ θρηνήσει πορεύσεται ἀνυπόδετος καὶ γυμνή ποιήσεται κοπετὸν ὡς δρακόντων καὶ πένθος ὡς θυγατέρων σειρήνων (Ⅲ) - Super hoc plangam, et ululabo ;/ vadam spoliatus, et nudus ;/ faciam planctum velut draconum,/ et luctum quasi struthionum :/ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃1 על זאת אספדה ואילילה אילכה *שילל **שולל וערום אעשה מספד כתנים ואבל כבנות יענה (Ⅴ)

For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
- Car sa plaie est douloureuse; Elle s'étend jusqu'à Juda, Elle pénètre jusqu'à la porte de mon peuple, Jusqu'à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι κατεκράτησεν ἡ πληγὴ αὐτη̃ς διότι ἠ̃λθεν ἕως Ιουδα καὶ ἥψατο ἕως πύλης λαου̃ μου ἕως Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ) - quia desperata est plaga ejus,/ quia venit usque ad Judam ;/ tetigit portam populi mei usque ad Jerusalem./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃1 כי אנושה מכותיה כי באה עד יהודה נגע עד שער עמי עד ירושלם (Ⅴ)

Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.

(Ⅱ) - οἱ ἐν Γεθ μὴ μεγαλύνεσθε οἱ ἐν Ακιμ μὴ ἀνοικοδομει̃τε ἐξ οἴκου κατὰ γέλωτα γη̃ν καταπάσασθε κατὰ γέλωτα ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - In Geth nolite annuntiare ;/ lacrimis ne ploretis ;/ in domo pulveris pulvere vos conspergite./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃1 בגת אל תגידו בכו אל תבכו בבית לעפרה עפר *התפלשתי **התפלשי (Ⅴ)

Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
- Passe, habitante de Schaphir, dans la nudité et la honte! L'habitante de Tsaanan n'ose sortir, Le deuil de Beth Haëtsel vous prive de son abri. (Ⅱ) - κατοικου̃σα καλω̃ς τὰς πόλεις αὐτη̃ς οὐκ ἐξη̃λθεν κατοικου̃σα Σεννααν κόψασθαι οἰ̃κον ἐχόμενον αὐτη̃ς λήμψεται ἐξ ὑμω̃ν πληγὴν ὀδύνης (Ⅲ) - Et transite vobis, habitatio pulchra, confusa ignominia :/ non est egressa quæ habitat in exitu :/ planctum domus vicina accipiet ex vobis, quæ stetit sibimet./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃1 עברי לכם יושבת שפיר עריה בשת לא יצאה יושבת צאנן מספד בית האצל יקח מכם עמדתו (Ⅴ)

For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
- L'habitante de Maroth tremble pour son salut, Car le malheur est descendu de la part de l'Éternel Jusqu'à la porte de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - τίς ἤρξατο εἰς ἀγαθὰ κατοικούση̨ ὀδύνας ὅτι κατέβη κακὰ παρὰ κυρίου ἐπὶ πύλας Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ) - Quia infirmata est in bonum,/ quæ habitat in amaritudinibus ;/ quia descendit malum a Domino in portam Jerusalem./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃1 כי חלה לטוב יושבת מרות כי ירד רע מאת יהוה לשער ירושלם (Ⅴ)

O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
- Attelle les coursiers à ton char, Habitante de Lakisch! Tu as été pour la fille de Sion une première cause de péché, Car en toi se sont trouvés les crimes d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - ψόφος ἁρμάτων καὶ ἱππευόντων κατοικου̃σα Λαχις ἀρχηγὸς ἁμαρτίας αὐτή ἐστιν τη̨̃ θυγατρὶ Σιων ὅτι ἐν σοὶ εὑρέθησαν ἀσέβειαι του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Tumultus quadrigæ stuporis habitanti Lachis :/ principium peccati est filiæ Sion,/ quia in te inventa sunt scelera Israël./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃1 רתם המרכבה לרכש יושבת לכיש ראשית חטאת היא לבת ציון כי בך נמצאו פשעי ישראל (Ⅴ)

Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
- C'est pourquoi tu renonceras à Moréschet Gath; Les maisons d'Aczib seront une source trompeuse Pour les rois d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το δώσεις ἐξαποστελλομένους ἕως κληρονομίας Γεθ οἴκους ματαίους εἰς κενὰ ἐγένετο τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Propterea dabit emissarios super hæreditatem Geth,/ domus mendacii in deceptionem regibus Israël./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃1 לכן תתני שלוחים על מורשת גת בתי אכזיב לאכזב למלכי ישראל (Ⅴ)

Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.

(Ⅱ) - ξύρησαι καὶ κει̃ραι ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα τὰ τρυφερά σου ἐμπλάτυνον τὴν χηρείαν σου ὡς ἀετός ὅτι ἠ̨χμαλωτεύθησαν ἀπὸ σου̃ (Ⅲ) - Decalvare, et tondere super filios deliciarum tuarum ;/ dilata calvitium tuum sicut aquila,/ quoniam captivi ducti sunt ex te.] (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃1 קרחי וגזי על בני תענוגיך הרחבי קרחתך כנשר כי גלו ממך ס (Ⅴ)
