21. 1

καὶ ἤκουσεν ὁ Χανανις βασιλεὺς Αραδ ὁ κατοικω̃ν κατὰ τὴν ἔρημον ἠ̃λθεν γὰρ Ισραηλ ὁδὸν Αθαριν καὶ ἐπολέμησεν πρὸς Ισραηλ καὶ κατεπρονόμευσαν ἐξ αὐτω̃ν αἰχμαλωσίαν

- Le roi d'Arad, Cananéen, qui habitait le midi, apprit qu'Israël venait par le chemin d'Atharim. Il combattit Israël, et emmena des prisonniers. (Ⅱ)

- And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners. (Ⅲ)

- Quod cum audisset Chananæus rex Arad, qui habitabat ad meridiem, venisse scilicet Israël per exploratorum viam, pugnavit contra illum, et victor existens, duxit ex eo prædam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃21 וישמע הכנעני מלך ערד ישב הנגב כי בא ישראל דרך האתרים וילחם בישראל וישב ממנו שבי ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 2

καὶ ηὔξατο Ισραηλ εὐχὴν κυρίω̨ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐάν μοι παραδω̨̃ς τὸν λαὸν του̃τον ὑποχείριον ἀναθεματιω̃ αὐτὸν καὶ τὰς πόλεις αὐτου̃

- Alors Israël fit un voeu à l'Éternel, et dit: Si tu livres ce peuple entre mes mains, je dévouerai ses villes par interdit. (Ⅱ)

- And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities. (Ⅲ)

- At Israël voto se Domino obligans, ait : Si tradideris populum istum in manu mea, delebo urbes ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃21 וידר ישראל נדר ליהוה ויאמר אם נתן תתן את העם הזה בידי והחרמתי את עריהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 3

καὶ εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τη̃ς φωνη̃ς Ισραηλ καὶ παρέδωκεν τὸν Χανανιν ὑποχείριον αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀνεθεμάτισεν αὐτὸν καὶ τὰς πόλεις αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπεκάλεσαν τὸ ὄνομα του̃ τόπου ἐκείνου ἀνάθεμα

- L'Éternel entendit la voix d'Israël, et livra les Cananéens. On les dévoua par interdit, eux et leurs villes; et l'on nomma ce lieu Horma. (Ⅱ)

- And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah. (Ⅲ)

- Exaudivitque Dominus preces Israël, et tradidit Chananæum, quem ille interfecit subversis urbibus ejus : et vocavit nomen loci illius Horma, id est, anathema.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃21 וישמע יהוה בקול ישראל ויתן את הכנעני ויחרם אתהם ואת עריהם ויקרא שם המקום חרמה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 4

καὶ ἀπάραντες ἐξ Ωρ του̃ ὄρους ὁδὸν ἐπὶ θάλασσαν ἐρυθρὰν περιεκύκλωσαν γη̃ν Εδωμ καὶ ὠλιγοψύχησεν ὁ λαὸς ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃

- Ils partirent de la montagne de Hor par le chemin de la mer Rouge, pour contourner le pays d'Édom. Le peuple s'impatienta en route, (Ⅱ)

- And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. (Ⅲ)

- Profecti sunt autem et de monte Hor, per viam quæ ducit ad mare Rubrum, ut circumirent terram Edom. Et tædere cœpit populum itineris ac laboris : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃21 ויסעו מהר ההר דרך ים סוף לסבב את ארץ אדום ותקצר נפש העם בדרך ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 5

καὶ κατελάλει ὁ λαὸς πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ κατὰ Μωυση̃ λέγοντες ἵνα τί ἐξήγαγες ἡμα̃ς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἀποκτει̃ναι ἡμα̃ς ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἄρτος οὐδὲ ὕδωρ ἡ δὲ ψυχὴ ἡμω̃ν προσώχθισεν ἐν τω̨̃ ἄρτω̨ τω̨̃ διακένω̨

- et parla contre Dieu et contre Moïse: Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour que nous mourions dans le désert? car il n'y a point de pain, et il n'y a point d'eau, et notre âme est dégoûtée de cette misérable nourriture. (Ⅱ)

- And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. (Ⅲ)

- locutusque contra Deum et Moysen, ait : Cur eduxisti nos de Ægypto, ut moreremur in solitudine ? deest panis, non sunt aquæ : anima nostra jam nauseat super cibo isto levissimo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃21 וידבר העם באלהים ובמשה למה העליתנו ממצרים למות במדבר כי אין לחם ואין מים ונפשנו קצה בלחם הקלקל ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 6

καὶ ἀπέστειλεν κύριος εἰς τὸν λαὸν τοὺς ὄφεις τοὺς θανατου̃ντας καὶ ἔδακνον τὸν λαόν καὶ ἀπέθανεν λαὸς πολὺς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ

- Alors l'Éternel envoya contre le peuple des serpents brûlants; ils mordirent le peuple, et il mourut beaucoup de gens en Israël. (Ⅱ)

- And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. (Ⅲ)

- Quam ob rem misit Dominus in populum ignitos serpentes, ad quorum plagas et mortes plurimorum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃21 וישלח יהוה בעם את הנחשים השרפים וינשכו את העם וימת עם רב מישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 7

καὶ παραγενόμενος ὁ λαὸς πρὸς Μωυση̃ν ἔλεγον ὅτι ἡμάρτομεν ὅτι κατελαλήσαμεν κατὰ του̃ κυρίου καὶ κατὰ σου̃ εὐ̃ξαι οὐ̃ν πρὸς κύριον καὶ ἀφελέτω ἀφ' ἡμω̃ν τὸν ὄφιν καὶ ηὔξατο Μωυση̃ς πρὸς κύριον περὶ του̃ λαου̃

- Le peuple vint à Moïse, et dit: Nous avons péché, car nous avons parlé contre l'Éternel et contre toi. Prie l'Éternel, afin qu'il éloigne de nous ces serpents. Moïse pria pour le peuple. (Ⅱ)

- Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. (Ⅲ)

- venerunt ad Moysen, atque dixerunt : Peccavimus, quia locuti sumus contra Dominum et te : ora ut tollat a nobis serpentes. Oravitque Moyses pro populo, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃21 ויבא העם אל משה ויאמרו חטאנו כי דברנו ביהוה ובך התפלל אל יהוה ויסר מעלינו את הנחש ויתפלל משה בעד העם ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 8

καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν ποίησον σεαυτω̨̃ ὄφιν καὶ θὲς αὐτὸν ἐπὶ σημείου καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν δάκη̨ ὄφις ἄνθρωπον πα̃ς ὁ δεδηγμένος ἰδὼν αὐτὸν ζήσεται

- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Fais-toi un serpent brûlant, et place-le sur une perche; quiconque aura été mordu, et le regardera, conservera la vie. (Ⅱ)

- And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. (Ⅲ)

- et locutus est Dominus ad eum : Fac serpentem æneum, et pone eum pro signo : qui percussus aspexerit eum, vivet. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃21 ויאמר יהוה אל משה עשה לך שרף ושים אתו על נס והיה כל הנשוך וראה אתו וחי ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 9

καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυση̃ς ὄφιν χαλκου̃ν καὶ ἔστησεν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ σημείου καὶ ἐγένετο ὅταν ἔδακνεν ὄφις ἄνθρωπον καὶ ἐπέβλεψεν ἐπὶ τὸν ὄφιν τὸν χαλκου̃ν καὶ ἔζη

- Moïse fit un serpent d'airain, et le plaça sur une perche; et quiconque avait été mordu par un serpent, et regardait le serpent d'airain, conservait la vie. (Ⅱ)

- And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. (Ⅲ)

- Fecit ergo Moyses serpentem æneum, et posuit eum pro signo : quem cum percussi aspicerent, sanabantur.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃21 ויעש משה נחש נחשת וישמהו על הנס והיה אם נשך הנחש את איש והביט אל נחש הנחשת וחי ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 10

καὶ ἀπη̃ραν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Ωβωθ

- Les enfants d'Israël partirent, et ils campèrent à Oboth. (Ⅱ)

- And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth. (Ⅲ)

- Profectique filii Israël castrametati sunt in Oboth. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃21 ויסעו בני ישראל ויחנו באבת ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 11

καὶ ἐξάραντες ἐξ Ωβωθ παρενέβαλον ἐν Αχελγαι ἐκ του̃ πέραν ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ ἥ ἐστιν κατὰ πρόσωπον Μωαβ κατὰ ἀνατολὰς ἡλίου

- Ils partirent d'Oboth et ils campèrent à Ijjé Abarim, dans le désert qui est vis-à-vis de Moab, vers le soleil levant. (Ⅱ)

- And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising. (Ⅲ)

- Unde egressi fixere tentoria in Jeabarim, in solitudine quæ respicit Moab contra orientalem plagam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃21 ויסעו מאבת ויחנו בעיי העברים במדבר אשר על פני מואב ממזרח השמש ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 12

ἐκει̃θεν ἀπη̃ραν καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς φάραγγα Ζαρετ

- De là ils partirent, et ils campèrent dans la vallée de Zéred. (Ⅱ)

- From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared. (Ⅲ)

- Et inde moventes, venerunt ad torrentem Zared. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃21 משם נסעו ויחנו בנחל זרד ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 13

καὶ ἐκει̃θεν ἀπάραντες παρενέβαλον εἰς τὸ πέραν Αρνων ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ τὸ ἐξέχον ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν Αμορραίων ἔστιν γὰρ Αρνων ὅρια Μωαβ ἀνὰ μέσον Μωαβ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ Αμορραίου

- De là ils partirent, et ils campèrent de l'autre côté de l'Arnon, qui coule dans le désert en sortant du territoire des Amoréens; car l'Arnon est la frontière de Moab, entre Moab et les Amoréens. (Ⅱ)

- From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites. (Ⅲ)

- Quem relinquentes castrametati sunt contra Arnon, quæ est in deserto, et prominet in finibus Amorrhæi. Siquidem Arnon terminus est Moab, dividens Moabitas et Amorrhæos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃21 משם נסעו ויחנו מעבר ארנון אשר במדבר היצא מגבול‪[1]‬ האמרי כי ארנון גבול מואב בין מואב ובין האמרי ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 14

διὰ του̃το λέγεται ἐν βιβλίω̨ πόλεμος του̃ κυρίου τὴν Ζωοβ ἐφλόγισεν καὶ τοὺς χειμάρρους Αρνων

- C'est pourquoi il est dit dans le livre des Guerres de l'Éternel: ...Vaheb en Supha, et les torrents de l'Arnon, (Ⅱ)

- Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon, (Ⅲ)

- Unde dicitur in libro bellorum Domini : [Sicut fecit in mari Rubro,/ sic faciet in torrentibus Arnon./ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃21 על כן יאמר בספר מלחמת יהוה את והב בסופה ואת הנחלים ארנון ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 15

καὶ τοὺς χειμάρρους κατέστησεν κατοικίσαι Ηρ καὶ πρόσκειται τοι̃ς ὁρίοις Μωαβ

- et le cours des torrents, qui s'étend du côté d'Ar et touche à la frontière de Moab. (Ⅱ)

- And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab. (Ⅲ)

- Scopuli torrentium inclinati sunt, ut requiescerent in Ar,/ et recumberent in finibus Moabitarum.] (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃21 ואשד הנחלים אשר נטה לשבת ער ונשען לגבול מואב ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 16

καὶ ἐκει̃θεν τὸ φρέαρ του̃τό ἐστιν τὸ φρέαρ ὃ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν συνάγαγε τὸν λαόν καὶ δώσω αὐτοι̃ς ὕδωρ πιει̃ν

- De là ils allèrent à Beer. C'est ce Beer, où l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Rassemble le peuple, et je leur donnerai de l'eau. (Ⅱ)

- And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water. (Ⅲ)

- Ex eo loco apparuit puteus, super quo locutus est Dominus ad Moysen : Congrega populum, et dabo ei aquam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃21 ומשם בארה הוא הבאר אשר אמר יהוה למשה אסף את העם ואתנה להם מים ס‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 17

τότε ἠ̨̃σεν Ισραηλ τὸ ἀ̨̃σμα του̃το ἐπὶ του̃ φρέατος ἐξάρχετε αὐτω̨̃

- Alors Israël chanta ce cantique: Monte, puits! Chantez en son honneur! (Ⅱ)

- Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it: (Ⅲ)

- Tunc cecinit Israël carmen istud : [Ascendat puteus.] Concinebant : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃21 אז ישיר ישראל את השירה הזאת עלי באר ענו לה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 18

φρέαρ ὤρυξαν αὐτὸ ἄρχοντες ἐξελατόμησαν αὐτὸ βασιλει̃ς ἐθνω̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ βασιλεία̨ αὐτω̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ κυριευ̃σαι αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἀπὸ φρέατος εἰς Μανθαναιν

- Puits, que des princes ont creusé, Que les grands du peuple ont creusé, Avec le sceptre, avec leurs bâtons! (Ⅱ)

- The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah: (Ⅲ)

- Puteus, quem foderunt principes/ et paraverunt duces multitudinis/ in datore legis, et in baculis suis.] De solitudine, Matthana. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃21 באר חפרוה שרים כרוה נדיבי העם במחקק במשענתם וממדבר מתנה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 19

καὶ ἀπὸ Μανθαναιν εἰς Νααλιηλ καὶ ἀπὸ Νααλιηλ εἰς Βαμωθ

- Du désert ils allèrent à Matthana; de Matthana, à Nahaliel; de Nahaliel, à Bamoth; (Ⅱ)

- And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth: (Ⅲ)

- De Matthana in Nahaliel : de Nahaliel in Bamoth. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃21 וממתנה נחליאל ומנחליאל במות ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 20

καὶ ἀπὸ Βαμωθ εἰς νάπην ἥ ἐστιν ἐν τω̨̃ πεδίω̨ Μωαβ ἀπὸ κορυφη̃ς του̃ λελαξευμένου τὸ βλέπον κατὰ πρόσωπον τη̃ς ἐρήμου

- de Bamoth, à la vallée qui est dans le territoire de Moab, au sommet du Pisga, en regard du désert. (Ⅱ)

- And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon. (Ⅲ)

- De Bamoth, vallis est in regione Moab, in vertice Phasga, quod respicit contra desertum.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃21 ומבמות הגיא אשר בשדה מואב ראש הפסגה ונשקפה על פני הישימן פ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 21

καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Μωυση̃ς πρέσβεις πρὸς Σηων βασιλέα Αμορραίων λόγοις εἰρηνικοι̃ς λέγων

- Israël envoya des messagers à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, pour lui dire: (Ⅱ)

- And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying, (Ⅲ)

- Misit autem Israël nuntios ad Sehon regem Amorrhæorum, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃21 וישלח ישראל מלאכים אל סיחן מלך האמרי לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 22

παρελευσόμεθα διὰ τη̃ς γη̃ς σου τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ πορευσόμεθα οὐκ ἐκκλινου̃μεν οὔτε εἰς ἀγρὸν οὔτε εἰς ἀμπελω̃να οὐ πιόμεθα ὕδωρ ἐκ φρέατός σου ὁδω̨̃ βασιλικη̨̃ πορευσόμεθα ἕως παρέλθωμεν τὰ ὅριά σου

- Laisse-moi passer par ton pays; nous n'entrerons ni dans les champs, ni dans les vignes, et nous ne boirons pas l'eau des puits; nous suivrons la route royale, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons franchi ton territoire. (Ⅱ)

- Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past thy borders. (Ⅲ)

- Obsecro ut transire mihi liceat per terram tuam : non declinabimus in agros et vineas ; non bibemus aquas ex puteis : via regia gradiemur, donec transeamus terminos tuos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃21 אעברה בארצך לא נטה בשדה ובכרם לא נשתה מי באר בדרך המלך נלך עד אשר נעבר גבלך ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 23

καὶ οὐκ ἔδωκεν Σηων τω̨̃ Ισραηλ παρελθει̃ν διὰ τω̃ν ὁρίων αὐτου̃ καὶ συνήγαγεν Σηων πάντα τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν παρατάξασθαι τω̨̃ Ισραηλ εἰς τὴν ἔρημον καὶ ἠ̃λθεν εἰς Ιασσα καὶ παρετάξατο τω̨̃ Ισραηλ

- Sihon n'accorda point à Israël le passage sur son territoire; il rassembla tout son peuple, et sortit à la rencontre d'Israël, dans le désert; il vint à Jahats, et combattit Israël. (Ⅱ)

- And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel. (Ⅲ)

- Qui concedere noluit ut transiret Israël per fines suos : quin potius exercitu congregato, egressus est obviam in desertum, et venit in Jasa, pugnavitque contra eum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃21 ולא נתן סיחן את ישראל עבר בגבלו ויאסף סיחן את כל עמו ויצא לקראת ישראל המדברה ויבא יהצה וילחם בישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 24

καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν Ισραηλ φόνω̨ μαχαίρης καὶ κατεκυρίευσαν τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ Αρνων ἕως Ιαβοκ ἕως υἱω̃ν Αμμαν ὅτι Ιαζηρ ὅρια υἱω̃ν Αμμων ἐστίν

- Israël le frappa du tranchant de l'épée et s'empara de son pays depuis l'Arnon jusqu'au Jabbok, jusqu'à la frontière des enfants d'Ammon; car la frontière des enfants d'Ammon était fortifiée. (Ⅱ)

- And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong. (Ⅲ)

- A quo percussus est in ore gladii, et possessa est terra ejus ab Arnon usque Jeboc, et filios Ammon : quia forti præsidio tenebantur termini Ammonitarum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃21 ויכהו ישראל לפי חרב ויירש את ארצו מארנן עד יבק עד בני עמון כי עז גבול בני עמון ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 25

καὶ ἔλαβεν Ισραηλ πάσας τὰς πόλεις ταύτας καὶ κατώ̨κησεν Ισραηλ ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς πόλεσιν τω̃ν Αμορραίων ἐν Εσεβων καὶ ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς συγκυρούσαις αὐτη̨̃

- Israël prit toutes les villes, et s'établit dans toutes les villes des Amoréens, à Hesbon et dans toutes les villes de son ressort. (Ⅱ)

- And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof. (Ⅲ)

- Tulit ergo Israël omnes civitates ejus, et habitavit in urbibus Amorrhæi, in Hesebon scilicet, et viculis ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃21 ויקח ישראל את כל הערים האלה וישב ישראל בכל ערי האמרי בחשבון ובכל בנתיה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 26

ἔστιν γὰρ Εσεβων πόλις Σηων του̃ βασιλέως τω̃ν Αμορραίων καὶ οὑ̃τος ἐπολέμησεν βασιλέα Μωαβ τὸ πρότερον καὶ ἔλαβον πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ Αροηρ ἕως Αρνων

- Car Hesbon était la ville de Sihon, roi des Amoréens; il avait fait la guerre au précédent roi de Moab, et lui avait enlevé tout son pays jusqu'à l'Arnon. (Ⅱ)

- For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon. (Ⅲ)

- Urbs Hesebon fuit Sehon regis Amorrhæi, qui pugnavit contra regem Moab : et tulit omnem terram, quæ ditionis illius fuerat usque Arnon. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃21 כי חשבון עיר סיחן מלך האמרי הוא והוא נלחם במלך מואב הראשון ויקח את כל ארצו מידו עד ארנן ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 27

διὰ του̃το ἐρου̃σιν οἱ αἰνιγματισταί ἔλθετε εἰς Εσεβων ἵνα οἰκοδομηθη̨̃ καὶ κατασκευασθη̨̃ πόλις Σηων

- C'est pourquoi les poètes disent: Venez à Hesbon! Que la ville de Sihon soit rebâtie et fortifiée! (Ⅱ)

- Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared: (Ⅲ)

- Idcirco dicitur in proverbio : [Venite in Hesebon : ædificetur, et construatur civitas Sehon :/ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃21 על כן יאמרו המשלים באו חשבון תבנה ותכונן עיר סיחון ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 28

ὅτι πυ̃ρ ἐξη̃λθεν ἐξ Εσεβων φλὸξ ἐκ πόλεως Σηων καὶ κατέφαγεν ἕως Μωαβ καὶ κατέπιεν στήλας Αρνων

- Car il est sorti un feu de Hesbon, Une flamme de la ville de Sihon; Elle a dévoré Ar Moab, Les habitants des hauteurs de l'Arnon. (Ⅱ)

- For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon. (Ⅲ)

- ignis egressus est de Hesebon, flamma de oppido Sehon,/ et devoravit Ar Moabitarum, et habitatores excelsorum Arnon./ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃21 כי אש יצאה מחשבון להבה מקרית סיחן אכלה ער מואב בעלי במות ארנן ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 29

οὐαί σοι Μωαβ ἀπώλου λαὸς Χαμως ἀπεδόθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτω̃ν διασώ̨ζεσθαι καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτω̃ν αἰχμάλωτοι τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ τω̃ν Αμορραίων Σηων

- Malheur à toi, Moab! Tu es perdu, peuple de Kemosch! Il a fait de ses fils des fuyards, Et il a livré ses filles captives A Sihon, roi des Amoréens. (Ⅱ)

- Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites. (Ⅲ)

- Væ tibi Moab ; peristi popule Chamos./ Dedit filios ejus in fugam, et filias in captivitatem regi Amorrhæorum Sehon./ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃21 אוי לך מואב אבדת עם כמוש נתן בניו פליטם ובנתיו בשבית למלך אמרי סיחון ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 30

καὶ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτω̃ν ἀπολει̃ται Εσεβων ἕως Δαιβων καὶ αἱ γυναι̃κες ἔτι προσεξέκαυσαν πυ̃ρ ἐπὶ Μωαβ

- Nous avons lancé sur eux nos traits: De Hesbon à Dibon tout est détruit; Nous avons étendu nos ravages jusqu'à Nophach, Jusqu'à Médeba. (Ⅱ)

- We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba. (Ⅲ)

- Jugum ipsorum disperiit ad Hesebon usque Dibon :/ lassi pervenerunt in Nophe, et usque Medaba.] (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃21 ונירם אבד חשבון עד דיבון ונשים עד נפח אשר‪[4]‬ עד מידבא ‬ (Ⅴ)

κατώ̨κησεν δὲ Ισραηλ ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς πόλεσιν τω̃ν Αμορραίων

- Israël s'établit dans le pays des Amoréens. (Ⅱ)

- Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites. (Ⅲ)

- Habitavit itaque Israël in terra Amorrhæi.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 31 ׃21 וישב ישראל בארץ האמרי ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 32

καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Μωυση̃ς κατασκέψασθαι τὴν Ιαζηρ καὶ κατελάβοντο αὐτὴν καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἐξέβαλον τὸν Αμορραι̃ον τὸν κατοικου̃ντα ἐκει̃

- Moïse envoya reconnaître Jaezer; et ils prirent les villes de son ressort, et chassèrent les Amoréens qui y étaient. (Ⅱ)

- And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there. (Ⅲ)

- Misitque Moyses qui explorarent Jazer : cujus ceperunt viculos, et possederunt habitatores. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 32 ׃21 וישלח משה לרגל את יעזר וילכדו בנתיה *ויירש **ויורש את האמרי אשר שם ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 33

καὶ ἐπιστρέψαντες ἀνέβησαν ὁδὸν τὴν εἰς Βασαν καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν Ωγ βασιλεὺς τη̃ς Βασαν εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς αὐτου̃ εἰς πόλεμον εἰς Εδραϊν

- Ils changèrent ensuite de direction, et montèrent par le chemin de Basan. Og, roi de Basan, sortit à leur rencontre, avec tout son peuple, pour les combattre à Édréi. (Ⅱ)

- And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei. (Ⅲ)

- Verteruntque se, et ascenderunt per viam Basan, et occurrit eis Og, rex Basan, cum omni populo suo, pugnaturus in Edrai. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 33 ׃21 ויפנו ויעלו דרך הבשן ויצא עוג מלך הבשן לקראתם הוא וכל עמו למלחמה אדרעי ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 34

καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν μὴ φοβηθη̨̃ς αὐτόν ὅτι εἰς τὰς χει̃ράς σου παραδέδωκα αὐτὸν καὶ πάντα τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν αὐτου̃ καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτω̨̃ καθὼς ἐποίησας τω̨̃ Σηων βασιλει̃ τω̃ν Αμορραίων ὃς κατώ̨κει ἐν Εσεβων

- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Ne le crains point; car je le livre entre tes mains, lui et tout son peuple, et son pays; tu le traiteras comme tu as traité Sihon, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon. (Ⅱ)

- And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. (Ⅲ)

- Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen : Ne timeas eum, quia in manu tua tradidi illum, et omnem populum ac terram ejus : faciesque illi sicut fecisti Sehon, regi Amorrhæorum habitatori Hesebon. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 34 ׃21 ויאמר יהוה אל משה אל תירא אתו כי בידך נתתי אתו ואת כל עמו ואת ארצו ועשית לו כאשר עשית לסיחן מלך האמרי אשר יושב בחשבון ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 35

καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ πάντα τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ ἕως του̃ μὴ καταλιπει̃ν αὐτου̃ ζωγρείαν καὶ ἐκληρονόμησαν τὴν γη̃ν αὐτω̃ν

- Et ils le battirent, lui et ses fils, et tout son peuple, sans en laisser échapper un seul, et ils s'emparèrent de son pays. (Ⅱ)

- So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land. (Ⅲ)

- Percusserunt igitur et hunc cum filiis suis, universumque populum ejus usque ad internecionem, et possederunt terram illius. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 35 ׃21 ויכו אתו ואת בניו ואת כל עמו עד בלתי השאיר לו שריד ויירשו את ארצו ‬ (Ⅴ)
