καὶ κατέλυσεν Ισραηλ ἐν Σαττιν καὶ ἐβεβηλώθη ὁ λαὸς ἐκπορνευ̃σαι εἰς τὰς θυγατέρας Μωαβ
- Israël demeurait à Sittim; et le peuple commença à se livrer à la débauche avec les filles de Moab. (Ⅱ) - And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. (Ⅲ) - Morabatur autem eo tempore Israël in Settim, et fornicatus est populus cum filiabus Moab, (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃25 וישב ישראל בשטים ויחל העם לזנות אל בנות מואב (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐκάλεσαν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ ται̃ς θυσίαις τω̃ν εἰδώλων αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔφαγεν ὁ λαὸς τω̃ν θυσιω̃ν αὐτω̃ν καὶ προσεκύνησαν τοι̃ς εἰδώλοις αὐτω̃ν
- Elles invitèrent le peuple aux sacrifices de leurs dieux; et le peuple mangea, et se prosterna devant leurs dieux. (Ⅱ) - And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. (Ⅲ) - quæ vocaverunt eos ad sacrificia sua. At ille comederunt et adoraverunt deos earum. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃25 ותקראן לעם לזבחי אלהיהן ויאכל העם וישתחוו[1] לאלהיהן (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐτελέσθη Ισραηλ τω̨̃ Βεελφεγωρ καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμω̨̃ κύριος τω̨̃ Ισραηλ
- Israël s'attacha à Baal Peor, et la colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Israël. (Ⅱ) - And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel. (Ⅲ) - Initiatusque est Israël Beelphegor : et iratus Dominus, (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃25 ויצמד ישראל לבעל פעור ויחר אף יהוה בישראל (Ⅴ)

καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ λαβὲ πάντας τοὺς ἀρχηγοὺς του̃ λαου̃ καὶ παραδειγμάτισον αὐτοὺς κυρίω̨ ἀπέναντι του̃ ἡλίου καὶ ἀποστραφήσεται ὀργὴ θυμου̃ κυρίου ἀπὸ Ισραηλ
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Assemble tous les chefs du peuple, et fais pendre les coupables devant l'Éternel en face du soleil, afin que la colère ardente de l'Éternel se détourne d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel. (Ⅲ) - ait ad Moysen : Tolle cunctos principes populi, et suspende eos contra solem in patibulis, ut avertatur furor meus ab Israël. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃25 ויאמר יהוה אל משה קח את כל ראשי העם והוקע אותם ליהוה נגד השמש וישב חרון אף יהוה מישראל (Ⅴ)

καὶ εἰ̃πεν Μωυση̃ς ται̃ς φυλαι̃ς Ισραηλ ἀποκτείνατε ἕκαστος τὸν οἰκει̃ον αὐτου̃ τὸν τετελεσμένον τω̨̃ Βεελφεγωρ
- Moïse dit aux juges d'Israël: Que chacun de vous tue ceux de ses gens qui se sont attachés à Baal Peor. (Ⅱ) - And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor. (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Moyses ad judices Israël : Occidat unusquisque proximos suos, qui initiati sunt Beelphegor. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃25 ויאמר משה אל שפטי ישראל הרגו איש אנשיו הנצמדים לבעל פעור (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνθρωπος τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἐλθὼν προσήγαγεν τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτου̃ πρὸς τὴν Μαδιανι̃τιν ἐναντίον Μωυση̃ καὶ ἔναντι πάσης συναγωγη̃ς υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ αὐτοὶ δὲ ἔκλαιον παρὰ τὴν θύραν τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου
- Et voici, un homme des enfants d'Israël vint et amena vers ses frères une Madianite, sous les yeux de Moïse et sous les yeux de toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, tandis qu'ils pleuraient à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation. (Ⅱ) - And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. (Ⅲ) - Et ecce unus de filiis Israël intravit coram fratribus suis ad scortum Madianitidem, vidente Moyse, et omni turba filiorum Israël, qui flebant ante fores tabernaculi.\ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃25 והנה איש מבני ישראל בא ויקרב אל אחיו את המדינית לעיני משה ולעיני כל עדת בני ישראל והמה בכים פתח אהל מועד (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἰδὼν Φινεες υἱὸς Ελεαζαρ υἱου̃ Ααρων του̃ ἱερέως ἐξανέστη ἐκ μέσου τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς καὶ λαβὼν σειρομάστην ἐν τη̨̃ χειρὶ
- A cette vue, Phinées, fils d'Éléazar, fils du sacrificateur Aaron, se leva du milieu de l'assemblée, et prit une lance, dans sa main. (Ⅱ) - And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; (Ⅲ) - Quod cum vidisset Phinees filius Eleazari filii Aaron sacerdotis, surrexit de medio multitudinis, et arrepto pugione, (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃25 וירא פינחס בן אלעזר בן אהרן הכהן ויקם מתוך העדה ויקח רמח בידו (Ⅴ)

εἰση̃λθεν ὀπίσω του̃ ἀνθρώπου του̃ Ισραηλίτου εἰς τὴν κάμινον καὶ ἀπεκέντησεν ἀμφοτέρους τόν τε ἄνθρωπον τὸν Ισραηλίτην καὶ τὴν γυναι̃κα διὰ τη̃ς μήτρας αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἐπαύσατο ἡ πληγὴ ἀπὸ υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ
- Il suivit l'homme d'Israël dans sa tente, et il les perça tous les deux, l'homme d'Israël, puis la femme, par le bas-ventre. Et la plaie s'arrêta parmi les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel. (Ⅲ) - ingressus est post virum Israëlitem in lupanar, et perfodit ambos simul, virum scilicet et mulierem in locis genitalibus. Cessavitque plaga a filiis Israël : (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃25 ויבא אחר איש ישראל אל הקבה וידקר את שניהם את איש ישראל ואת האשה אל קבתה ותעצר המגפה מעל בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐγένοντο οἱ τεθνηκότες ἐν τη̨̃ πληγη̨̃ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες
- Il y en eut vingt-quatre mille qui moururent de la plaie. (Ⅱ) - And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. (Ⅲ) - et occisi sunt viginti quatuor millia hominum. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃25 ויהיו המתים במגפה ארבעה ועשרים אלף פ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων
- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ) - And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen : (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃25 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר (Ⅴ)

Φινεες υἱὸς Ελεαζαρ υἱου̃ Ααρων του̃ ἱερέως κατέπαυσεν τὸν θυμόν μου ἀπὸ υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἐν τω̨̃ ζηλω̃σαί μου τὸν ζη̃λον ἐν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ οὐκ ἐξανήλωσα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τω̨̃ ζήλω̨ μου
- Phinées, fils d'Éléazar, fils du sacrificateur Aaron, a détourné ma fureur de dessus les enfants d'Israël, parce qu'il a été animé de mon zèle au milieu d'eux; et je n'ai point, dans ma colère, consumé les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. (Ⅲ) - Phinees filius Eleazari filii Aaron sacerdotis avertit iram meam a filiis Israël : quia zelo meo commotus est contra eos, ut non ipse delerem filios Israël in zelo meo. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃25 פינחס בן אלעזר בן אהרן הכהן השיב את חמתי מעל בני ישראל בקנאו את קנאתי בתוכם ולא כליתי את בני ישראל בקנאתי (Ⅴ)

οὕτως εἰπόν ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ δίδωμι αὐτω̨̃ διαθήκην εἰρήνης
- C'est pourquoi tu diras que je traite avec lui une alliance de paix. (Ⅱ) - Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace: (Ⅲ) - Idcirco loquere ad eum : Ecce do ei pacem fœderis mei, (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃25 לכן אמר הנני נתן לו את בריתי שלום (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἔσται αὐτω̨̃ καὶ τω̨̃ σπέρματι αὐτου̃ μετ' αὐτὸν διαθήκη ἱερατείας αἰωνία ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ἐζήλωσεν τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξιλάσατο περὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ
- Ce sera pour lui et pour sa postérité après lui l'alliance d'un sacerdoce perpétuel, parce qu'il a été zélé pour son Dieu, et qu'il a fait l'expiation pour les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel. (Ⅲ) - et erit tam ipsi quam semini ejus pactum sacerdotii sempiternum : quia zelatus est pro Deo suo, et expiavit scelus filiorum Israël. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃25 והיתה לו ולזרעו אחריו ברית כהנת עולם תחת אשר קנא לאלהיו ויכפר על בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

τὸ δὲ ὄνομα του̃ ἀνθρώπου του̃ Ισραηλίτου του̃ πεπληγότος ὃς ἐπλήγη μετὰ τη̃ς Μαδιανίτιδος Ζαμβρι υἱὸς Σαλω ἄρχων οἴκου πατρια̃ς τω̃ν Συμεων
- L'homme d'Israël, qui fut tué avec la Madianite, s'appelait Zimri, fils de Salu; il était chef d'une maison paternelle des Siméonites. (Ⅱ) - Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites. (Ⅲ) - Erat autem nomen viri Israëlitæ, qui occisus est cum Madianitide, Zambri filius Salu, dux de cognatione et tribu Simeonis. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃25 ושם איש ישראל המכה אשר הכה את המדינית זמרי בן סלוא נשיא בית אב לשמעני (Ⅴ)

καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ γυναικὶ τη̨̃ Μαδιανίτιδι τη̨̃ πεπληγυία̨ Χασβι θυγάτηρ Σουρ ἄρχοντος ἔθνους Ομμωθ οἴκου πατρια̃ς ἐστιν τω̃ν Μαδιαν
- La femme qui fut tuée, la Madianite, s'appelait Cozbi, fille de Tsur, chef des peuplades issues d'une maison paternelle en Madian. (Ⅱ) - And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian. (Ⅲ) - Porro mulier Madianitis, quæ pariter interfecta est, vocabatur Cozbi filia Sur principis nobilissimi Madianitarum. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃25 ושם האשה המכה המדינית כזבי בת צור ראש אמות בית אב במדין הוא פ (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων λάλησον τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ λέγων
- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ) - And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (Ⅲ) - Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃25 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר (Ⅴ)

ἐχθραίνετε τοι̃ς Μαδιηναίοις καὶ πατάξατε αὐτούς
- Traite les Madianites en ennemis, et tuez-les; (Ⅱ) - Vex the Midianites, and smite them: (Ⅲ) - Hostes vos sentiant Madianitæ, et percutite eos : (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃25 צרור את המדינים והכיתם אותם (Ⅴ)

ὅτι ἐχθραίνουσιν αὐτοὶ ὑμι̃ν ἐν δολιότητι ὅσα δολιου̃σιν ὑμα̃ς διὰ Φογωρ καὶ διὰ Χασβι θυγατέρα ἄρχοντος Μαδιαν ἀδελφὴν αὐτω̃ν τὴν πεπληγυι̃αν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̃ς πληγη̃ς διὰ Φογωρ
- car ils se sont montrés vos ennemis, en vous séduisant par leurs ruses, dans l'affaire de Peor, et dans l'affaire de Cozbi, fille d'un chef de Madian, leur soeur, tuée le jour de la plaie qui eut lieu à l'occasion de Peor. (Ⅱ) - For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake. (Ⅲ) - quia et ipsi hostiliter egerunt contra vos, et decepere insidiis per idolum Phogor, et Cozbi filiam ducis Madian sororem suam, quæ percussa est in die plagæ pro sacrilegio Phogor. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃25 כי צררים הם לכם בנכליהם אשר נכלו לכם על דבר פעור ועל דבר כזבי בת נשיא מדין אחתם המכה ביום המגפה על דבר פעור
19 ׃25 ויהי אחרי המגפה[1] פ (Ⅴ)
