10. 1  
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
- En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, celui qui n'entre pas par la porte dans la bergerie, mais qui y monte par ailleurs, est un voleur et un brigand. (Ⅱ)
- Ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ὁ μὴ εἰσερχόμενος διὰ τῆς θύρας εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν τῶν προβάτων ἀλλὰ ἀναβαίνων ἀλλαχόθεν ἐκεῖνος κλέπτης ἐστὶν καὶ λῃστής· (Ⅲ)
- Amen, amen dico vobis : qui non intrat per ostium in ovile ovium, sed ascendit aliunde, ille fur est et latro. (Ⅳ)
10. 2  
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
- Mais celui qui entre par la porte est le berger des brebis. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ δὲ εἰσερχόμενος διὰ τῆς θύρας ποιμήν ἐστιν τῶν προβάτων. (Ⅲ)
- Qui autem intrat per ostium, pastor est ovium. (Ⅳ)
10. 3  
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
- Le portier lui ouvre, et les brebis entendent sa voix; il appelle par leur nom les brebis qui lui appartiennent, et il les conduit dehors. (Ⅱ)
- τούτῳ ὁ θυρωρὸς ἀνοίγει, καὶ τὰ πρόβατα τῆς φωνῆς αὐτοῦ ἀκούει καὶ τὰ ἴδια πρόβατα ⸀φωνεῖ κατ’ ὄνομα καὶ ἐξάγει αὐτά. (Ⅲ)
- Huic ostiarius aperit, et oves vocem ejus audiunt, et proprias oves vocat nominatim, et educit eas. (Ⅳ)
10. 4  
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
- Lorsqu'il a fait sortir toutes ses propres brebis, il marche devant elles; et les brebis le suivent, parce qu'elles connaissent sa voix. (Ⅱ)
- ⸀ὅταν τὰ ἴδια ⸀πάντα ἐκβάλῃ, ἔμπροσθεν αὐτῶν πορεύεται, καὶ τὰ πρόβατα αὐτῷ ἀκολουθεῖ, ὅτι οἴδασιν τὴν φωνὴν αὐτοῦ· (Ⅲ)
- Et cum proprias oves emiserit, ante eas vadit : et oves illum sequuntur, quia sciunt vocem ejus. (Ⅳ)
10. 5  
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
- Elles ne suivront point un étranger; mais elles fuiront loin de lui, parce qu'elles ne connaissent pas la voix des étrangers. (Ⅱ)
- ἀλλοτρίῳ δὲ οὐ μὴ ⸀ἀκολουθήσουσιν ἀλλὰ φεύξονται ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι οὐκ οἴδασι τῶν ἀλλοτρίων τὴν φωνήν. (Ⅲ)
- Alienum autem non sequuntur, sed fugiunt ab eo : quia non noverunt vocem alienorum. (Ⅳ)
10. 6  
This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
- Jésus leur dit cette parabole, mais ils ne comprirent pas de quoi il leur parlait. (Ⅱ)
- ταύτην τὴν παροιμίαν εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· ἐκεῖνοι δὲ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τίνα ⸀ἦν ἃ ἐλάλει αὐτοῖς. (Ⅲ)
- Hoc proverbium dixit eis Jesus : illi autem non cognoverunt quid loqueretur eis. (Ⅳ)
10. 7  
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
- Jésus leur dit encore: En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, je suis la porte des brebis. (Ⅱ)
- Εἶπεν οὖν πάλιν ⸀αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ⸀ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ θύρα τῶν προβάτων. (Ⅲ)
- Dixit ergo eis iterum Jesus : Amen, amen dico vobis, quia ego sum ostium ovium. (Ⅳ)
10. 8  
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
- Tous ceux qui sont venus avant moi sont des voleurs et des brigands; mais les brebis ne les ont point écoutés. (Ⅱ)
- πάντες ὅσοι ἦλθον ⸂πρὸ ἐμοῦ⸃ κλέπται εἰσὶν καὶ λῃσταί· ἀλλ’ οὐκ ἤκουσαν αὐτῶν τὰ πρόβατα. (Ⅲ)
- Omnes quotquot venerunt, fures sunt, et latrones, et non audierunt eos oves. (Ⅳ)
10. 9  
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- Je suis la porte. Si quelqu'un entre par moi, il sera sauvé; il entrera et il sortira, et il trouvera des pâturages. (Ⅱ)
- ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ θύρα· δι’ ἐμοῦ ἐάν τις εἰσέλθῃ σωθήσεται καὶ εἰσελεύσεται καὶ ἐξελεύσεται καὶ νομὴν εὑρήσει. (Ⅲ)
- Ego sum ostium. Per me si quis introierit, salvabitur : et ingredietur, et egredietur, et pascua inveniet. (Ⅳ)
10. 10  
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- Le voleur ne vient que pour dérober, égorger et détruire; moi, je suis venu afin que les brebis aient la vie, et qu'elles soient dans l'abondance. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ κλέπτης οὐκ ἔρχεται εἰ μὴ ἵνα κλέψῃ καὶ θύσῃ καὶ ἀπολέσῃ· ἐγὼ ἦλθον ἵνα ζωὴν ἔχωσιν καὶ περισσὸν ἔχωσιν. (Ⅲ)
- Fur non venit nisi ut furetur, et mactet, et perdat. Ego veni ut vitam habeant, et abundantius habeant. (Ⅳ)
10. 11  
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
- Je suis le bon berger. Le bon berger donne sa vie pour ses brebis. (Ⅱ)
- Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ποιμὴν ὁ καλός· ὁ ποιμὴν ὁ καλὸς τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ τίθησιν ὑπὲρ τῶν προβάτων· (Ⅲ)
- Ego sum pastor bonus. Bonus pastor animam suam dat pro ovibus suis. (Ⅳ)
10. 12  
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
- Mais le mercenaire, qui n'est pas le berger, et à qui n'appartiennent pas les brebis, voit venir le loup, abandonne les brebis, et prend la fuite; et le loup les ravit et les disperse. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ ⸀μισθωτὸς καὶ οὐκ ὢν ποιμήν, οὗ οὐκ ⸀ἔστιν τὰ πρόβατα ἴδια, θεωρεῖ τὸν λύκον ἐρχόμενον καὶ ἀφίησιν τὰ πρόβατα καὶ φεύγει— καὶ ὁ λύκος ἁρπάζει αὐτὰ καὶ ⸀σκορπίζει— (Ⅲ)
- Mercenarius autem, et qui non est pastor, cujus non sunt oves propriæ, videt lupum venientem, et dimittit oves, et fugit : et lupus rapit, et dispergit oves ; (Ⅳ)
10. 13  
The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
- Le mercenaire s'enfuit, parce qu'il est mercenaire, et qu'il ne se met point en peine des brebis. Je suis le bon berger. (Ⅱ)
- ⸀ὅτι μισθωτός ἐστιν καὶ οὐ μέλει αὐτῷ περὶ τῶν προβάτων. (Ⅲ)
- mercenarius autem fugit, quia mercenarius est, et non pertinet ad eum de ovibus. (Ⅳ)
10. 14  
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
- Je connais mes brebis, et elles me connaissent, (Ⅱ)
- ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ποιμὴν ὁ καλός, καὶ γινώσκω τὰ ἐμὰ καὶ ⸂γινώσκουσί με τὰ ἐμά⸃, (Ⅲ)
- Ego sum pastor bonus : et cognosco meas, et cognoscunt me meæ. (Ⅳ)
10. 15  
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
- comme le Père me connaît et comme je connais le Père; et je donne ma vie pour mes brebis. (Ⅱ)
- καθὼς γινώσκει με ὁ πατὴρ κἀγὼ γινώσκω τὸν πατέρα, καὶ τὴν ψυχήν μου τίθημι ὑπὲρ τῶν προβάτων. (Ⅲ)
- Sicut novit me Pater, et ego agnosco Patrem : et animam meam pono pro ovibus meis. (Ⅳ)
10. 16  
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
- J'ai encore d'autres brebis, qui ne sont pas de cette bergerie; celles-là, il faut que je les amène; elles entendront ma voix, et il y aura un seul troupeau, un seul berger. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἄλλα πρόβατα ἔχω ἃ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ τῆς αὐλῆς ταύτης· κἀκεῖνα ⸂δεῖ με⸃ ἀγαγεῖν, καὶ τῆς φωνῆς μου ἀκούσουσιν, καὶ ⸀γενήσονται μία ποίμνη, εἷς ποιμήν. (Ⅲ)
- Et alias oves habeo, quæ non sunt ex hoc ovili : et illas oportet me adducere, et vocem meam audient, et fiet unum ovile et unus pastor. (Ⅳ)
10. 17  
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
- Le Père m'aime, parce que je donne ma vie, afin de la reprendre. (Ⅱ)
- διὰ τοῦτό ⸂με ὁ πατὴρ⸃ ἀγαπᾷ ὅτι ἐγὼ τίθημι τὴν ψυχήν μου, ἵνα πάλιν λάβω αὐτήν. (Ⅲ)
- Propterea me diligit Pater : quia ego pono animam meam, ut iterum sumam eam. (Ⅳ)
10. 18  
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
- Personne ne me l'ôte, mais je la donne de moi-même; j'ai le pouvoir de la donner, et j'ai le pouvoir de la reprendre: tel est l'ordre que j'ai reçu de mon Père. (Ⅱ)
- οὐδεὶς ⸀αἴρει αὐτὴν ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ, ἀλλ’ ἐγὼ τίθημι αὐτὴν ἀπ’ ἐμαυτοῦ. ἐξουσίαν ἔχω θεῖναι αὐτήν, καὶ ἐξουσίαν ἔχω πάλιν λαβεῖν αὐτήν· ταύτην τὴν ἐντολὴν ἔλαβον παρὰ τοῦ πατρός μου. (Ⅲ)
- Nemo tollit eam a me : sed ego pono eam a meipso, et potestatem habeo ponendi eam, et potestatem habeo iterum sumendi eam. Hoc mandatum accepi a Patre meo.\ (Ⅳ)
10. 19  
There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
- Il y eut de nouveau, à cause de ces paroles, division parmi les Juifs. (Ⅱ)
- ⸀Σχίσμα πάλιν ἐγένετο ἐν τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις διὰ τοὺς λόγους τούτους. (Ⅲ)
- Dissensio iterum facta est inter Judæos propter sermones hos. (Ⅳ)
10. 20  
And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
- Plusieurs d'entre eux disaient: Il a un démon, il est fou; pourquoi l'écoutez-vous? (Ⅱ)
- ἔλεγον δὲ πολλοὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν· Δαιμόνιον ἔχει καὶ μαίνεται· τί αὐτοῦ ἀκούετε; (Ⅲ)
- Dicebant autem multi ex ipsis : Dæmonium habet, et insanit : quid eum auditis ? (Ⅳ)
10. 21  
Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
- D'autres disaient: Ce ne sont pas les paroles d'un démoniaque; un démon peut-il ouvrir les yeux des aveugles? (Ⅱ)
- ⸀ἄλλοι ἔλεγον· Ταῦτα τὰ ῥήματα οὐκ ἔστιν δαιμονιζομένου· μὴ δαιμόνιον δύναται τυφλῶν ὀφθαλμοὺς ⸀ἀνοῖξαι; (Ⅲ)
- Alii dicebant : Hæc verba non sunt dæmonium habentis : numquid dæmonium potest cæcorum oculos aperire ?\ (Ⅳ)
10. 22  
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
- On célébrait à Jérusalem la fête de la Dédicace. C'était l'hiver. (Ⅱ)
- Ἐγένετο ⸀τότε τὰ ἐγκαίνια ἐν ⸀τοῖς Ἱεροσολύμοις· ⸀χειμὼν ἦν, (Ⅲ)
- Facta sunt autem Encænia in Jerosolymis, et hiems erat. (Ⅳ)
10. 23  
And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
- Et Jésus se promenait dans le temple, sous le portique de Salomon. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ περιεπάτει ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ ἐν τῇ στοᾷ ⸀τοῦ Σολομῶνος. (Ⅲ)
- Et ambulabat Jesus in templo, in porticu Salomonis. (Ⅳ)
10. 24  
Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
- Les Juifs l'entourèrent, et lui dirent: Jusques à quand tiendras-tu notre esprit en suspens? Si tu es le Christ, dis-le nous franchement. (Ⅱ)
- ἐκύκλωσαν οὖν αὐτὸν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι καὶ ἔλεγον αὐτῷ· Ἕως πότε τὴν ψυχὴν ἡμῶν αἴρεις; εἰ σὺ εἶ ὁ χριστός, εἰπὲ ἡμῖν παρρησίᾳ. (Ⅲ)
- Circumdederunt ergo eum Judæi, et dicebant ei : Quousque animam nostram tollis ? si tu es Christus, dic nobis palam. (Ⅳ)
10. 25  
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
- Jésus leur répondit: Je vous l'ai dit, et vous ne croyez pas. Les oeuvres que je fais au nom de mon Père rendent témoignage de moi. (Ⅱ)
- ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Εἶπον ὑμῖν καὶ οὐ πιστεύετε· τὰ ἔργα ἃ ἐγὼ ποιῶ ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ πατρός μου ταῦτα μαρτυρεῖ περὶ ἐμοῦ· (Ⅲ)
- Respondit eis Jesus : Loquor vobis, et non creditis : opera quæ ego facio in nomine Patris mei, hæc testimonium perhibent de me : (Ⅳ)
10. 26  
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
- Mais vous ne croyez pas, parce que vous n'êtes pas de mes brebis. (Ⅱ)
- ἀλλὰ ὑμεῖς οὐ πιστεύετε, ⸂ὅτι οὐκ⸃ ἐστὲ ἐκ τῶν προβάτων τῶν ⸀ἐμῶν. (Ⅲ)
- sed vos non creditis, quia non estis ex ovibus meis. (Ⅳ)
10. 27  
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
- Mes brebis entendent ma voix; je les connais, et elles me suivent. (Ⅱ)
- τὰ πρόβατα τὰ ἐμὰ τῆς φωνῆς μου ⸀ἀκούουσιν, κἀγὼ γινώσκω αὐτά, καὶ ἀκολουθοῦσίν μοι, (Ⅲ)
- Oves meæ vocem meam audiunt, et ego cognosco eas, et sequuntur me : (Ⅳ)
10. 28  
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
- Je leur donne la vie éternelle; et elles ne périront jamais, et personne ne les ravira de ma main. (Ⅱ)
- κἀγὼ ⸂δίδωμι αὐτοῖς ζωὴν αἰώνιον⸃, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀπόλωνται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, καὶ οὐχ ἁρπάσει τις αὐτὰ ἐκ τῆς χειρός μου. (Ⅲ)
- et ego vitam æternam do eis, et non peribunt in æternum, et non rapiet eas quisquam de manu mea. (Ⅳ)
10. 29  
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
- Mon Père, qui me les a données, est plus grand que tous; et personne ne peut les ravir de la main de mon Père. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ πατήρ μου ⸀ὃ δέδωκέν ⸀μοι ⸂πάντων μεῖζων⸃ ἐστιν, καὶ οὐδεὶς δύναται ἁρπάζειν ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς τοῦ ⸀πατρός. (Ⅲ)
- Pater meus quod dedit mihi, majus omnibus est : et nemo potest rapere de manu Patris mei. (Ⅳ)
10. 30  
I and my Father are one.
- Moi et le Père nous sommes un. (Ⅱ)
- ἐγὼ καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ἕν ἐσμεν. (Ⅲ)
- Ego et Pater unum sumus.\ (Ⅳ)
10. 31  
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
- Alors les Juifs prirent de nouveau des pierres pour le lapider. (Ⅱ)
- Ἐβάστασαν ⸀οὖν πάλιν λίθους οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι ἵνα λιθάσωσιν αὐτόν. (Ⅲ)
- Sustulerunt ergo lapides Judæi, ut lapidarent eum. (Ⅳ)
10. 32  
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
- Jésus leur dit: Je vous ai fait voir plusieurs bonnes oeuvres venant de mon Père: pour laquelle me lapidez-vous? (Ⅱ)
- ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Πολλὰ ⸂ἔργα καλὰ ἔδειξα ὑμῖν⸃ ἐκ τοῦ ⸀πατρός· διὰ ποῖον αὐτῶν ἔργον ⸂ἐμὲ λιθάζετε⸃; (Ⅲ)
- Respondit eis Jesus : Multa bona opera ostendi vobis ex Patre meo : propter quod eorum opus me lapidatis ? (Ⅳ)
10. 33  
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
- Les Juifs lui répondirent: Ce n'est point pour une bonne oeuvre que nous te lapidons, mais pour un blasphème, et parce que toi, qui es un homme, tu te fais Dieu. (Ⅱ)
- ἀπεκρίθησαν αὐτῷ οἱ ⸀Ἰουδαῖοι· Περὶ καλοῦ ἔργου οὐ λιθάζομέν σε ἀλλὰ περὶ βλασφημίας, καὶ ὅτι σὺ ἄνθρωπος ὢν ποιεῖς σεαυτὸν θεόν. (Ⅲ)
- Responderunt ei Judæi : De bono opere non lapidamus te, sed de blasphemia ; et quia tu homo cum sis, facis teipsum Deum. (Ⅳ)
10. 34  
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
- Jésus leur répondit: N'est-il pas écrit dans votre loi: J'ai dit: Vous êtes des dieux? (Ⅱ)
- ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Οὐκ ἔστιν γεγραμμένον ἐν τῷ νόμῳ ὑμῶν ⸀ὅτι Ἐγὼ εἶπα· Θεοί ἐστε; (Ⅲ)
- Respondit eis Jesus : Nonne scriptum est in lege vestra, Quia ego dixi : Dii estis ? (Ⅳ)
10. 35  
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
- Si elle a appelé dieux ceux à qui la parole de Dieu a été adressée, et si l'Écriture ne peut être anéantie, (Ⅱ)
- εἰ ἐκείνους εἶπεν θεοὺς πρὸς οὓς ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ ἐγένετο, καὶ οὐ δύναται λυθῆναι ἡ γραφή, (Ⅲ)
- Si illos dixit deos, ad quos sermo Dei factus est, et non potest solvi Scriptura : (Ⅳ)
10. 36  
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
- celui que le Père a sanctifié et envoyé dans le monde, vous lui dites: Tu blasphèmes! Et cela parce que j'ai dit: Je suis le Fils de Dieu. (Ⅱ)
- ὃν ὁ πατὴρ ἡγίασεν καὶ ἀπέστειλεν εἰς τὸν κόσμον ὑμεῖς λέγετε ὅτι Βλασφημεῖς, ὅτι εἶπον· Υἱὸς τοῦ θεοῦ εἰμι; (Ⅲ)
- quem Pater sanctificavit, et misit in mundum vos dicitis : Quia blasphemas, quia dixi : Filius Dei sum ? (Ⅳ)
10. 37  
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
- Si je ne fais pas les oeuvres de mon Père, ne me croyez pas. (Ⅱ)
- εἰ οὐ ποιῶ τὰ ἔργα τοῦ πατρός μου, μὴ πιστεύετέ μοι· (Ⅲ)
- Si non facio opera Patris mei, nolite credere mihi. (Ⅳ)
10. 38  
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
- Mais si je les fais, quand même vous ne me croyez point, croyez à ces oeuvres, afin que vous sachiez et reconnaissiez que le Père est en moi et que je suis dans le Père. (Ⅱ)
- εἰ δὲ ποιῶ, κἂν ἐμοὶ μὴ πιστεύητε τοῖς ἔργοις ⸀πιστεύετε, ἵνα γνῶτε καὶ ⸀γινώσκητε ὅτι ἐν ἐμοὶ ὁ πατὴρ κἀγὼ ἐν ⸂τῷ πατρί⸃. (Ⅲ)
- Si autem facio : etsi mihi non vultis credere, operibus credite, ut cognoscatis, et credatis quia Pater in me est, et ego in Patre. (Ⅳ)
10. 39  
Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
- Là-dessus, ils cherchèrent encore à le saisir, mais il s'échappa de leurs mains. (Ⅱ)
- ἐζήτουν οὖν ⸂πάλιν αὐτὸν⸃ πιάσαι· καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς αὐτῶν. (Ⅲ)
- Quærebant ergo eum apprehendere : et exivit de manibus eorum. (Ⅳ)
10. 40  
And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
- Jésus s'en alla de nouveau au delà du Jourdain, dans le lieu où Jean avait d'abord baptisé. Et il y demeura. (Ⅱ)
- Καὶ ἀπῆλθεν πάλιν πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου εἰς τὸν τόπον ὅπου ἦν Ἰωάννης τὸ πρῶτον βαπτίζων, καὶ ἔμεινεν ἐκεῖ. (Ⅲ)
- Et abiit iterum trans Jordanem, in eum locum ubi erat Joannes baptizans primum, et mansit illic ; (Ⅳ)
10. 41  
And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
- Beaucoup de gens vinrent à lui, et ils disaient: Jean n'a fait aucun miracle; mais tout ce que Jean a dit de cet homme était vrai. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ πολλοὶ ἦλθον πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ ἔλεγον ὅτι Ἰωάννης μὲν σημεῖον ἐποίησεν οὐδέν, πάντα δὲ ὅσα εἶπεν Ἰωάννης περὶ τούτου ἀληθῆ ἦν. (Ⅲ)
- et multi venerunt ad eum, et dicebant : Quia Joannes quidem signum fecit nullum. (Ⅳ)
10. 42  
And many believed on him there.
- Et, dans ce lieu-là, plusieurs crurent en lui. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ⸂πολλοὶ ἐπίστευσαν εἰς αὐτὸν ἐκεῖ⸃. (Ⅲ)
- Omnia autem quæcumque dixit Joannes de hoc, vera erant. Et multi crediderunt in eum. (Ⅳ)
