Trois jours après, il y eut des noces à Cana en Galilée. La mère de Jésus était là,
- And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: (Ⅱ)
- Καὶ τῇ ⸂ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ⸃ γάμος ἐγένετο ἐν Κανὰ τῆς Γαλιλαίας, καὶ ἦν ἡ μήτηρ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ἐκεῖ· (Ⅲ)
- Et die tertia nuptiæ factæ sunt in Cana Galilææ, et erat mater Jesu ibi. (Ⅳ)

et Jésus fut aussi invité aux noces avec ses disciples.
- And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. (Ⅱ)
- ἐκλήθη δὲ καὶ ὁ Ἰησοῦς καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν γάμον. (Ⅲ)
- Vocatus est autem et Jesus, et discipuli ejus, ad nuptias. (Ⅳ)

Le vin ayant manqué, la mère de Jésus lui dit: Ils n'ont plus de vin.
- And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ὑστερήσαντος οἴνου λέγει ἡ μήτηρ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ πρὸς αὐτόν· Οἶνον οὐκ ἔχουσιν. (Ⅲ)
- Et deficiente vino, dicit mater Jesu ad eum : Vinum non habent. (Ⅳ)

Jésus lui répondit: Femme, qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi? Mon heure n'est pas encore venue.
- Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. (Ⅱ)
- ⸀καὶ λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Τί ἐμοὶ καὶ σοί, γύναι; οὔπω ἥκει ἡ ὥρα μου. (Ⅲ)
- Et dicit ei Jesus : Quid mihi et tibi est, mulier ? nondum venit hora mea. (Ⅳ)

Sa mère dit aux serviteurs: Faites ce qu'il vous dira.
- His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ τοῖς διακόνοις· ⸂Ὅ τι⸃ ἂν λέγῃ ὑμῖν ποιήσατε. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit mater ejus ministris : Quodcumque dixerit vobis, facite. (Ⅳ)

Or, il y avait là six vases de pierre, destinés aux purifications des Juifs, et contenant chacun deux ou trois mesures.
- And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. (Ⅱ)
- ἦσαν δὲ ἐκεῖ ⸂λίθιναι ὑδρίαι⸃ ἓξ ⸂κατὰ τὸν καθαρισμὸν τῶν Ἰουδαίων κείμεναι⸃, χωροῦσαι ἀνὰ μετρητὰς δύο ἢ τρεῖς. (Ⅲ)
- Erant autem ibi lapideæ hydriæ sex positæ secundum purificationem Judæorum, capientes singulæ metretas binas vel ternas. (Ⅳ)

Jésus leur dit: Remplissez d'eau ces vases. Et ils les remplirent jusqu'au bord.
- Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Γεμίσατε τὰς ὑδρίας ὕδατος· καὶ ἐγέμισαν αὐτὰς ἕως ἄνω. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit eis Jesus : Implete hydrias aqua. Et impleverunt eas usque ad summum. (Ⅳ)

Puisez maintenant, leur dit-il, et portez-en à l'ordonnateur du repas. Et ils en portèrent.
- And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ἀντλήσατε νῦν καὶ φέρετε τῷ ἀρχιτρικλίνῳ· ⸂οἱ δὲ⸃ ἤνεγκαν. (Ⅲ)
- Et dicit eis Jesus : Haurite nunc, et ferte architriclino. Et tulerunt. (Ⅳ)

Quand l'ordonnateur du repas eut goûté l'eau changée en vin, -ne sachant d'où venait ce vin, tandis que les serviteurs, qui avaient puisé l'eau, le savaient bien, -il appela l'époux,
- When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, (Ⅱ)
- ὡς δὲ ἐγεύσατο ὁ ἀρχιτρίκλινος τὸ ὕδωρ οἶνον γεγενημένον, καὶ οὐκ ᾔδει πόθεν ἐστίν, οἱ δὲ διάκονοι ᾔδεισαν οἱ ἠντληκότες τὸ ὕδωρ, φωνεῖ τὸν νυμφίον ὁ ἀρχιτρίκλινος (Ⅲ)
- Ut autem gustavit architriclinus aquam vinum factam, et non sciebat unde esset, ministri autem sciebant, qui hauserant aquam : vocat sponsum architriclinus, (Ⅳ)

et lui dit: Tout homme sert d'abord le bon vin, puis le moins bon après qu'on s'est enivré; toi, tu as gardé le bon vin jusqu'à présent.
- And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Πᾶς ἄνθρωπος πρῶτον τὸν καλὸν οἶνον τίθησιν, καὶ ὅταν ⸀μεθυσθῶσιν τὸν ἐλάσσω· σὺ τετήρηκας τὸν καλὸν οἶνον ἕως ἄρτι. (Ⅲ)
- et dicit ei : Omnis homo primum bonum vinum ponit et cum inebriati fuerint, tunc id, quod deterius est. Tu autem servasti bonum vinum usque adhuc. (Ⅳ)

Tel fut, à Cana en Galilée, le premier des miracles que fit Jésus. Il manifesta sa gloire, et ses disciples crurent en lui.
- This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. (Ⅱ)
- ταύτην ⸀ἐποίησεν ἀρχὴν τῶν σημείων ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐν Κανὰ τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ ἐφανέρωσεν τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐπίστευσαν εἰς αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ. (Ⅲ)
- Hoc fecit initium signorum Jesus in Cana Galilææ ; et manifestavit gloriam suam, et crediderunt in eum discipuli ejus. (Ⅳ)

Après cela, il descendit à Capernaüm, avec sa mère, ses frères et ses disciples, et ils n'y demeurèrent que peu de jours.
- After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days. (Ⅱ)
- Μετὰ τοῦτο κατέβη εἰς Καφαρναοὺμ αὐτὸς καὶ ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ ⸀ἀδελφοὶ καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐκεῖ ἔμειναν οὐ πολλὰς ἡμέρας. (Ⅲ)
- Post hoc descendit Capharnaum ipse, et mater ejus, et fratres ejus, et discipuli ejus : et ibi manserunt non multis diebus.\ (Ⅳ)
2. 13  
La Pâque des Juifs était proche, et Jésus monta à Jérusalem.
- And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. (Ⅱ)
- Καὶ ἐγγὺς ἦν τὸ πάσχα τῶν Ἰουδαίων, καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα ὁ Ἰησοῦς. (Ⅲ)
- Et prope erat Pascha Judæorum, et ascendit Jesus Jerosolymam : (Ⅳ)
2. 14  
Il trouva dans le temple les vendeurs de boeufs, de brebis et de pigeons, et les changeurs assis.
- And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εὗρεν ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ τοὺς πωλοῦντας βόας καὶ πρόβατα καὶ περιστερὰς καὶ τοὺς κερματιστὰς καθημένους, (Ⅲ)
- et invenit in templo vendentes boves, et oves, et columbas, et numularios sedentes. (Ⅳ)

Ayant fait un fouet avec des cordes, il les chassa tous du temple, ainsi que les brebis et les boeufs; il dispersa la monnaie des changeurs, et renversa les tables;
- And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ποιήσας φραγέλλιον ἐκ σχοινίων πάντας ἐξέβαλεν ἐκ τοῦ ἱεροῦ τά τε πρόβατα καὶ τοὺς βόας, καὶ τῶν κολλυβιστῶν ἐξέχεεν ⸂τὰ κέρματα⸃ καὶ τὰς τραπέζας ⸀ἀνέστρεψεν, (Ⅲ)
- Et cum fecisset quasi flagellum de funiculis, omnes ejecit de templo, oves quoque, et boves, et numulariorum effudit æs, et mensas subvertit. (Ⅳ)

et il dit aux vendeurs de pigeons: Otez cela d'ici, ne faites pas de la maison de mon Père une maison de trafic.
- And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τοῖς τὰς περιστερὰς πωλοῦσιν εἶπεν· Ἄρατε ταῦτα ἐντεῦθεν, μὴ ποιεῖτε τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου οἶκον ἐμπορίου. (Ⅲ)
- Et his qui columbas vendebant, dixit : Auferte ista hinc, et nolite facere domum patris mei, domum negotiationis. (Ⅳ)

Ses disciples se souvinrent qu'il est écrit: Le zèle de ta maison me dévore.
- And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. (Ⅱ)
- ⸀ἐμνήσθησαν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ὅτι γεγραμμένον ἐστίν· Ὁ ζῆλος τοῦ οἴκου σου καταφάγεταί με. (Ⅲ)
- Recordati sunt vero discipuli ejus quia scriptum est : Zelus domus tuæ comedit me. (Ⅳ)

Les Juifs, prenant la parole, lui dirent: Quel miracle nous montres-tu, pour agir de la sorte?
- Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? (Ⅱ)
- ἀπεκρίθησαν οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ· Τί σημεῖον δεικνύεις ἡμῖν, ὅτι ταῦτα ποιεῖς; (Ⅲ)
- Responderunt ergo Judæi, et dixerunt ei : Quod signum ostendis nobis, quia hæc facis ? (Ⅳ)
2. 19  
Jésus leur répondit: Détruisez ce temple, et en trois jours je le relèverai.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. (Ⅱ)
- ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Λύσατε τὸν ναὸν τοῦτον καὶ ἐν τρισὶν ἡμέραις ἐγερῶ αὐτόν. (Ⅲ)
- Respondit Jesus, et dixit eis : Solvite templum hoc, et in tribus diebus excitabo illud. (Ⅳ)
2. 20  
Les Juifs dirent: Il a fallu quarante-six ans pour bâtir ce temple, et toi, en trois jours tu le relèveras!
- Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? (Ⅱ)
- εἶπαν οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι· Τεσσεράκοντα καὶ ἓξ ἔτεσιν οἰκοδομήθη ὁ ναὸς οὗτος, καὶ σὺ ἐν τρισὶν ἡμέραις ἐγερεῖς αὐτόν; (Ⅲ)
- Dixerunt ergo Judæi : Quadraginta et sex annis ædificatum est templum hoc, et tu in tribus diebus excitabis illud ? (Ⅳ)

Mais il parlait du temple de son corps.
- But he spake of the temple of his body. (Ⅱ)
- ἐκεῖνος δὲ ἔλεγεν περὶ τοῦ ναοῦ τοῦ σώματος αὐτοῦ. (Ⅲ)
- Ille autem dicebat de templo corporis sui. (Ⅳ)

C'est pourquoi, lorsqu'il fut ressuscité des morts, ses disciples se souvinrent qu'il avait dit cela, et ils crurent à l'Écriture et à la parole que Jésus avait dite.
- When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτε οὖν ἠγέρθη ἐκ νεκρῶν, ἐμνήσθησαν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ὅτι τοῦτο ἔλεγεν, καὶ ἐπίστευσαν τῇ γραφῇ καὶ τῷ λόγῳ ⸀ὃν εἶπεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς. (Ⅲ)
- Cum ergo resurrexisset a mortuis, recordati sunt discipuli ejus, quia hoc dicebat, et crediderunt scripturæ et sermoni quem dixit Jesus. (Ⅳ)

Pendant que Jésus était à Jérusalem, à la fête de Pâque, plusieurs crurent en son nom, voyant les miracles qu'il faisait.
- Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. (Ⅱ)
- Ὡς δὲ ἦν ἐν τοῖς Ἱεροσολύμοις ἐν τῷ πάσχα ἐν τῇ ἑορτῇ, πολλοὶ ἐπίστευσαν εἰς τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ, θεωροῦντες αὐτοῦ τὰ σημεῖα ἃ ἐποίει· (Ⅲ)
- Cum autem esset Jerosolymis in Pascha in die festo, multi crediderunt in nomine ejus, videntes signa ejus, quæ faciebat. (Ⅳ)

Mais Jésus ne se fiait point à eux, parce qu'il les connaissait tous,
- But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, (Ⅱ)
- αὐτὸς ⸀δὲ Ἰησοῦς οὐκ ἐπίστευεν ⸀αὑτὸν αὐτοῖς διὰ τὸ αὐτὸν γινώσκειν πάντας (Ⅲ)
- Ipse autem Jesus non credebat semetipsum eis, eo quod ipse nosset omnes, (Ⅳ)
2. 25  
et parce qu'il n'avait pas besoin qu'on lui rendît témoignage d'aucun homme; car il savait lui-même ce qui était dans l'homme.
- And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ὅτι οὐ χρείαν εἶχεν ἵνα τις μαρτυρήσῃ περὶ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, αὐτὸς γὰρ ἐγίνωσκεν τί ἦν ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ. (Ⅲ)
- et quia opus ei non erat ut quis testimonium perhiberet de homine : ipse enim sciebat quid esset in homine. (Ⅳ)
