21. 1  
Après cela, Jésus se montra encore aux disciples, sur les bords de la mer de Tibériade. Et voici de quelle manière il se montra.
- After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. (Ⅱ)
- Μετὰ ταῦτα ἐφανέρωσεν ἑαυτὸν πάλιν ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοῖς μαθηταῖς ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς Τιβεριάδος· ἐφανέρωσεν δὲ οὕτως. (Ⅲ)
- Postea manifestavit se iterum Jesus discipulis ad mare Tiberiadis. Manifestavit autem sic : (Ⅳ)
21. 2  
Simon Pierre, Thomas, appelé Didyme, Nathanaël, de Cana en Galilée, les fils de Zébédée, et deux autres disciples de Jésus, étaient ensemble.
- There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. (Ⅱ)
- ἦσαν ὁμοῦ Σίμων Πέτρος καὶ Θωμᾶς ὁ λεγόμενος Δίδυμος καὶ Ναθαναὴλ ὁ ἀπὸ Κανὰ τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ οἱ τοῦ Ζεβεδαίου καὶ ἄλλοι ἐκ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ δύο. (Ⅲ)
- erant simul Simon Petrus, et Thomas, qui dicitur Didymus, et Nathanaël, qui erat a Cana Galilææ, et filii Zebedæi, et alii ex discipulis ejus duo. (Ⅳ)
21. 3  
Simon Pierre leur dit: Je vais pêcher. Ils lui dirent: Nous allons aussi avec toi. Ils sortirent et montèrent dans une barque, et cette nuit-là ils ne prirent rien.
- Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει αὐτοῖς Σίμων Πέτρος· Ὑπάγω ἁλιεύειν· λέγουσιν αὐτῷ· Ἐρχόμεθα καὶ ἡμεῖς σὺν σοί. ἐξῆλθον καὶ ἐνέβησαν εἰς τὸ ⸀πλοῖον, καὶ ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ νυκτὶ ἐπίασαν οὐδέν. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit eis Simon Petrus : Vado piscari. Dicunt ei : Venimus et nos tecum. Et exierunt, et ascenderunt in navim : et illa nocte nihil prendiderunt. (Ⅳ)
21. 4  
Le matin étant venu, Jésus se trouva sur le rivage; mais les disciples ne savaient pas que c'était Jésus.
- But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. (Ⅱ)
- Πρωΐας δὲ ἤδη ⸀γενομένης ⸀ἔστη Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὸν αἰγιαλόν· οὐ μέντοι ᾔδεισαν οἱ μαθηταὶ ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἐστιν. (Ⅲ)
- Mane autem facto stetit Jesus in littore : non tamen cognoverunt discipuli quia Jesus est. (Ⅳ)
21. 5  
Jésus leur dit: Enfants, n'avez-vous rien à manger? Ils lui répondirent: Non.
- Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει οὖν αὐτοῖς ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Παιδία, μή τι προσφάγιον ἔχετε; ἀπεκρίθησαν αὐτῷ· Οὔ. (Ⅲ)
- Dixit ergo eis Jesus : Pueri, numquid pulmentarium habetis ? Responderunt ei : Non. (Ⅳ)
21. 6  
Il leur dit: Jetez le filet du côté droit de la barque, et vous trouverez. Ils le jetèrent donc, et ils ne pouvaient plus le retirer, à cause de la grande quantité de poissons.
- And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Βάλετε εἰς τὰ δεξιὰ μέρη τοῦ πλοίου τὸ δίκτυον, καὶ εὑρήσετε. ἔβαλον οὖν, καὶ οὐκέτι αὐτὸ ἑλκύσαι ⸀ἴσχυον ἀπὸ τοῦ πλήθους τῶν ἰχθύων. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit eis : Mittite in dexteram navigii rete, et invenietis. Miserunt ergo : et jam non valebant illud trahere præ multitudine piscium. (Ⅳ)

Alors le disciple que Jésus aimait dit à Pierre: C'est le Seigneur! Et Simon Pierre, dès qu'il eut entendu que c'était le Seigneur, mit son vêtement et sa ceinture, car il était nu, et se jeta dans la mer.
- Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει οὖν ὁ μαθητὴς ἐκεῖνος ὃν ἠγάπα ὁ Ἰησοῦς τῷ Πέτρῳ· Ὁ κύριός ἐστιν. Σίμων οὖν Πέτρος, ἀκούσας ὅτι ὁ κύριός ἐστιν, τὸν ἐπενδύτην διεζώσατο, ἦν γὰρ γυμνός, καὶ ἔβαλεν ἑαυτὸν εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν· (Ⅲ)
- Dixit ergo discipulus ille, quem diligebat Jesus, Petro : Dominus est. Simon Petrus cum audisset quia Dominus est, tunica succinxit se (erat enim nudus) et misit se in mare. (Ⅳ)
21. 8  
Les autres disciples vinrent avec la barque, tirant le filet plein de poissons, car ils n'étaient éloignés de terre que d'environ deux cents coudées.
- And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. (Ⅱ)
- οἱ δὲ ἄλλοι μαθηταὶ τῷ πλοιαρίῳ ἦλθον, οὐ γὰρ ἦσαν μακρὰν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἀλλὰ ὡς ἀπὸ πηχῶν διακοσίων, σύροντες τὸ δίκτυον τῶν ἰχθύων. (Ⅲ)
- Alii autem discipuli navigio venerunt (non enim longe erant a terra, sed quasi cubitis ducentis), trahentes rete piscium. (Ⅳ)
21. 9  
Lorsqu'ils furent descendus à terre, ils virent là des charbons allumés, du poisson dessus, et du pain.
- As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. (Ⅱ)
- Ὡς οὖν ἀπέβησαν εἰς τὴν γῆν βλέπουσιν ἀνθρακιὰν κειμένην καὶ ὀψάριον ἐπικείμενον καὶ ἄρτον. (Ⅲ)
- Ut ergo descenderunt in terram, viderunt prunas positas, et piscem superpositum, et panem. (Ⅳ)
21. 10  
Jésus leur dit: Apportez des poissons que vous venez de prendre.
- Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἐνέγκατε ἀπὸ τῶν ὀψαρίων ὧν ἐπιάσατε νῦν. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit eis Jesus : Afferte de piscibus, quos prendidistis nunc. (Ⅳ)
21. 11  
Simon Pierre monta dans la barque, et tira à terre le filet plein de cent cinquante-trois grands poissons; et quoiqu'il y en eût tant, le filet ne se rompit point.
- Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. (Ⅱ)
- ἀνέβη ⸀οὖν Σίμων Πέτρος καὶ εἵλκυσεν τὸ δίκτυον ⸂εἰς τὴν γῆν⸃ μεστὸν ἰχθύων μεγάλων ἑκατὸν πεντήκοντα τριῶν· καὶ τοσούτων ὄντων οὐκ ἐσχίσθη τὸ δίκτυον. (Ⅲ)
- Ascendit Simon Petrus et traxit rete in terram, plenum magnis piscibus centum quinquaginta tribus. Et cum tanti essent, non est scissum rete. (Ⅳ)
21. 12  
Jésus leur dit: Venez, mangez. Et aucun des disciples n'osait lui demander: Qui es-tu? sachant que c'était le Seigneur.
- Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Δεῦτε ἀριστήσατε. οὐδεὶς ⸀δὲ ἐτόλμα τῶν μαθητῶν ἐξετάσαι αὐτόν· Σὺ τίς εἶ; εἰδότες ὅτι ὁ κύριός ἐστιν. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit eis Jesus : Venite, prandete. Et nemo audebat discumbentium interrogare eum : Tu quis es ? scientes, quia Dominus est. (Ⅳ)
21. 13  
Jésus s'approcha, prit le pain, et leur en donna; il fit de même du poisson.
- Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. (Ⅱ)
- ⸀ἔρχεται ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς καὶ λαμβάνει τὸν ἄρτον καὶ δίδωσιν αὐτοῖς, καὶ τὸ ὀψάριον ὁμοίως. (Ⅲ)
- Et venit Jesus, et accipit panem, et dat eis, et piscem similiter. (Ⅳ)
21. 14  
C'était déjà la troisième fois que Jésus se montrait à ses disciples depuis qu'il était ressuscité des morts.
- This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. (Ⅱ)
- τοῦτο ἤδη τρίτον ἐφανερώθη ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοῖς ⸀μαθηταῖς ἐγερθεὶς ἐκ νεκρῶν. (Ⅲ)
- Hoc jam tertio manifestatus est Jesus discipulis suis cum resurrexisset a mortuis.\ (Ⅳ)
21. 15  
Après qu'ils eurent mangé, Jésus dit à Simon Pierre: Simon, fils de Jonas, m'aimes-tu plus que ne m'aiment ceux-ci? Il lui répondit: Oui, Seigneur, tu sais que je t'aime. Jésus lui dit: Pais mes agneaux.
- So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. (Ⅱ)
- Ὅτε οὖν ἠρίστησαν λέγει τῷ Σίμωνι Πέτρῳ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Σίμων ⸀Ἰωάννου, ἀγαπᾷς με πλέον τούτων; λέγει αὐτῷ· Ναί, κύριε, σὺ οἶδας ὅτι φιλῶ σε. λέγει αὐτῷ· Βόσκε τὰ ἀρνία μου. (Ⅲ)
- Cum ergo prandissent, dicit Simoni Petro Jesus : Simon Joannis, diligis me plus his ? Dicit ei : Etiam Domine, tu scis quia amo te. Dicit ei : Pasce agnos meos. (Ⅳ)
21. 16  
Il lui dit une seconde fois: Simon, fils de Jonas, m'aimes-tu? Pierre lui répondit: Oui, Seigneur, tu sais que je t'aime. Jésus lui dit: Pais mes brebis.
- He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει αὐτῷ πάλιν δεύτερον· Σίμων ⸀Ἰωάννου, ἀγαπᾷς με; λέγει αὐτῷ· Ναί, κύριε, σὺ οἶδας ὅτι φιλῶ σε. λέγει αὐτῷ· Ποίμαινε τὰ πρόβατά μου. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit ei iterum : Simon Joannis, diligis me ? Ait illi : Etiam Domine, tu scis quia amo te. Dicit ei : Pasce agnos meos. (Ⅳ)
21. 17  
Il lui dit pour la troisième fois: Simon, fils de Jonas, m'aimes-tu? Pierre fut attristé de ce qu'il lui avait dit pour la troisième fois: M'aimes-tu? Et il lui répondit: Seigneur, tu sais toutes choses, tu sais que je t'aime. Jésus lui dit: Pais mes brebis.
- He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει αὐτῷ τὸ τρίτον· Σίμων ⸀Ἰωάννου, φιλεῖς με; ἐλυπήθη ὁ Πέτρος ὅτι εἶπεν αὐτῷ τὸ τρίτον· Φιλεῖς με; καὶ ⸀εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Κύριε, ⸂πάντα σὺ⸃ οἶδας, σὺ γινώσκεις ὅτι φιλῶ σε. λέγει αὐτῷ ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Βόσκε τὰ ⸀πρόβατά μου. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit ei tertio : Simon Joannis, amas me ? Contristatus est Petrus, quia dixit ei tertio : Amas me ? et dixit ei : Domine, tu omnia nosti, tu scis quia amo te. Dixit ei : Pasce oves meas. (Ⅳ)
21. 18  
En vérité, en vérité, je te le dis, quand tu étais plus jeune, tu te ceignais toi-même, et tu allais où tu voulais; mais quand tu seras vieux, tu étendras tes mains, et un autre te ceindra, et te mènera où tu ne voudras pas.
- Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. (Ⅱ)
- ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω σοι, ὅτε ἦς νεώτερος, ἐζώννυες σεαυτὸν καὶ περιεπάτεις ὅπου ἤθελες· ὅταν δὲ γηράσῃς, ἐκτενεῖς τὰς χεῖράς σου, καὶ ἄλλος ⸂σε ζώσει⸃ καὶ οἴσει ὅπου οὐ θέλεις. (Ⅲ)
- Amen, amen dico tibi : cum esses junior, cingebas te, et ambulabas ubi volebas : cum autem senueris, extendes manus tuas, et alius te cinget, et ducet quo tu non vis. (Ⅳ)
21. 19  
Il dit cela pour indiquer par quelle mort Pierre glorifierait Dieu. Et ayant ainsi parlé, il lui dit: Suis-moi.
- This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. (Ⅱ)
- τοῦτο δὲ εἶπεν σημαίνων ποίῳ θανάτῳ δοξάσει τὸν θεόν. καὶ τοῦτο εἰπὼν λέγει αὐτῷ· Ἀκολούθει μοι. (Ⅲ)
- Hoc autem dixit significans qua morte clarificaturus esset Deum. Et cum hoc dixisset, dicit ei : Sequere me.\ (Ⅳ)
21. 20  
Pierre, s'étant retourné, vit venir après eux le disciple que Jésus aimait, celui qui, pendant le souper, s'était penché sur la poitrine de Jésus, et avait dit: Seigneur, qui est celui qui te livre?
- Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? (Ⅱ)
- ⸀Ἐπιστραφεὶς ὁ Πέτρος βλέπει τὸν μαθητὴν ὃν ἠγάπα ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀκολουθοῦντα, ὃς καὶ ἀνέπεσεν ἐν τῷ δείπνῳ ἐπὶ τὸ στῆθος αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν· Κύριε, τίς ἐστιν ὁ παραδιδούς σε; (Ⅲ)
- Conversus Petrus vidit illum discipulum, quem diligebat Jesus, sequentem, qui et recubuit in cœna super pectus ejus, et dixit : Domine, quis est qui tradet te ? (Ⅳ)
21. 21  
En le voyant, Pierre dit à Jésus: Et celui-ci, Seigneur, que lui arrivera-t-il?
- Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? (Ⅱ)
- τοῦτον ⸀οὖν ἰδὼν ὁ Πέτρος λέγει τῷ Ἰησοῦ· Κύριε, οὗτος δὲ τί; (Ⅲ)
- Hunc ergo cum vidisset Petrus, dixit Jesu : Domine, hic autem quid ? (Ⅳ)
21. 22  
Jésus lui dit: Si je veux qu'il demeure jusqu'à ce que je vienne, que t'importe? Toi, suis-moi.
- Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. (Ⅱ)
- λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἐὰν αὐτὸν θέλω μένειν ἕως ἔρχομαι, τί πρὸς σέ; σύ ⸂μοι ἀκολούθει⸃. (Ⅲ)
- Dicit ei Jesus : Sic eum volo manere donec veniam, quid ad te ? tu me sequere. (Ⅳ)
21. 23  
Là-dessus, le bruit courut parmi les frères que ce disciple ne mourrait point. Cependant Jésus n'avait pas dit à Pierre qu'il ne mourrait point; mais: Si je veux qu'il demeure jusqu'à ce que je vienne, que t'importe?
- Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? (Ⅱ)
- ἐξῆλθεν οὖν ⸂οὗτος ὁ λόγος⸃ εἰς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὅτι ὁ μαθητὴς ἐκεῖνος οὐκ ἀποθνῄσκει. ⸂οὐκ εἶπεν δὲ⸃ αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὅτι οὐκ ἀποθνῄσκει ἀλλ’· Ἐὰν αὐτὸν θέλω μένειν ἕως ἔρχομαι, τί πρὸς σέ; (Ⅲ)
- Exiit ergo sermo iste inter fratres quia discipulus ille non moritur. Et non dixit ei Jesus : Non moritur, sed : Sic eum volo manere donec veniam, quid ad te ? (Ⅳ)
21. 24  
C'est ce disciple qui rend témoignage de ces choses, et qui les a écrites. Et nous savons que son témoignage est vrai.
- This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. (Ⅱ)
- Οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ μαθητὴς ὁ μαρτυρῶν περὶ τούτων καὶ ⸀ὁ γράψας ταῦτα, καὶ οἴδαμεν ὅτι ἀληθὴς ⸂αὐτοῦ ἡ μαρτυρία ἐστίν⸃. (Ⅲ)
- Hic est discipulus ille qui testimonium perhibet de his, et scripsit hæc : et scimus quia verum est testimonium ejus. (Ⅳ)
21. 25  
Jésus a fait encore beaucoup d'autres choses; si on les écrivait en détail, je ne pense pas que le monde même pût contenir les livres qu'on écrirait.
- And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. (Ⅱ)
- ἔστιν δὲ καὶ ἄλλα πολλὰ ⸀ἃ ἐποίησεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς, ἅτινα ἐὰν γράφηται καθ’ ἕν, οὐδ’ αὐτὸν οἶμαι τὸν κόσμον ⸀χωρήσειν τὰ γραφόμενα ⸀βιβλία. (Ⅲ)
- Sunt autem et alia multa quæ fecit Jesus : quæ si scribantur per singula, nec ipsum arbitror mundum capere posse eos, qui scribendi sunt, libros. (Ⅳ)
