10. 1  
Il y avait à Césarée un homme nommé Corneille, centenier dans la cohorte dite italienne.
- There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, (Ⅱ)
- Ἀνὴρ δέ ⸀τις ἐν Καισαρείᾳ ὀνόματι Κορνήλιος, ἑκατοντάρχης ἐκ σπείρης τῆς καλουμένης Ἰταλικῆς, (Ⅲ)
- Vir autem quidam erat in Cæsarea, nomine Cornelius, centurio cohortis quæ dicitur Italica, (Ⅳ)
10. 2  
Cet homme était pieux et craignait Dieu, avec toute sa maison; il faisait beaucoup d'aumônes au peuple, et priait Dieu continuellement.
- A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. (Ⅱ)
- εὐσεβὴς καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν θεὸν σὺν παντὶ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ, ⸀ποιῶν ἐλεημοσύνας πολλὰς τῷ λαῷ καὶ δεόμενος τοῦ θεοῦ διὰ παντός, (Ⅲ)
- religiosus, ac timens Deum cum omni domo sua, faciens eleemosynas multas plebi, et deprecans Deum semper. (Ⅳ)
10. 3  
Vers la neuvième heure du jour, il vit clairement dans une vision un ange de Dieu qui entra chez lui, et qui lui dit: Corneille!
- He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. (Ⅱ)
- εἶδεν ἐν ὁράματι φανερῶς ὡσεὶ ⸀περὶ ὥραν ἐνάτην τῆς ἡμέρας ἄγγελον τοῦ θεοῦ εἰσελθόντα πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰπόντα αὐτῷ· Κορνήλιε. (Ⅲ)
- Is vidit in visu manifeste, quasi hora diei nona, angelum Dei introëuntem ad se, et dicentem sibi : Corneli. (Ⅳ)
10. 4  
Les regards fixés sur lui, et saisi d'effroi, il répondit: Qu'est-ce, Seigneur? Et l'ange lui dit: Tes prières et tes aumônes sont montées devant Dieu, et il s'en est souvenu.
- And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ δὲ ἀτενίσας αὐτῷ καὶ ἔμφοβος γενόμενος εἶπεν· Τί ἐστιν, κύριε; εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ· Αἱ προσευχαί σου καὶ αἱ ἐλεημοσύναι σου ἀνέβησαν εἰς μνημόσυνον ⸀ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ θεοῦ· (Ⅲ)
- At ille intuens eum, timore correptus, dixit : Quid est, domine ? Dixit autem illi : Orationes tuæ et eleemosynæ tuæ ascenderunt in memoriam in conspectu Dei. (Ⅳ)

Envoie maintenant des hommes à Joppé, et fais venir Simon, surnommé Pierre;
- And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: (Ⅱ)
- καὶ νῦν πέμψον ⸂ἄνδρας εἰς Ἰόππην⸃ καὶ μετάπεμψαι Σίμωνά ⸂τινα ὃς ἐπικαλεῖται Πέτρος⸃· (Ⅲ)
- Et nunc mitte viros in Joppen, et accersi Simonem quemdam, qui cognominatur Petrus : (Ⅳ)

il est logé chez un certain Simon, corroyeur, dont la maison est près de la mer.
- He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do. (Ⅱ)
- οὗτος ξενίζεται παρά τινι Σίμωνι βυρσεῖ, ᾧ ἐστιν οἰκία παρὰ θάλασσαν. (Ⅲ)
- hic hospitatur apud Simonem quemdam coriarium, cujus est domus juxta mare : hic dicet tibi quid te oporteat facere. (Ⅳ)

Dès que l'ange qui lui avait parlé fut parti, Corneille appela deux de ses serviteurs, et un soldat pieux d'entre ceux qui étaient attachés à sa personne;
- And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually; (Ⅱ)
- ὡς δὲ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν ⸀αὐτῷ, φωνήσας δύο τῶν ⸀οἰκετῶν καὶ στρατιώτην εὐσεβῆ τῶν προσκαρτερούντων αὐτῷ (Ⅲ)
- Et cum discessisset angelus qui loquebatur illi, vocavit duos domesticos suos, et militem metuentem Dominum ex his qui illi parebant. (Ⅳ)

et, après leur avoir tout raconté, il les envoya à Joppé.
- And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξηγησάμενος ⸂ἅπαντα αὐτοῖς⸃ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν Ἰόππην. (Ⅲ)
- Quibus cum narrasset omnia, misit illos in Joppen.\ (Ⅳ)

Le lendemain, comme ils étaient en route, et qu'ils approchaient de la ville, Pierre monta sur le toit, vers la sixième heure, pour prier.
- On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: (Ⅱ)
- Τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον ὁδοιπορούντων ἐκείνων καὶ τῇ πόλει ἐγγιζόντων ἀνέβη Πέτρος ἐπὶ τὸ δῶμα προσεύξασθαι περὶ ὥραν ἕκτην. (Ⅲ)
- Postera autem die, iter illis facientibus, et appropinquantibus civitati, ascendit Petrus in superiora ut oraret circa horam sextam. (Ⅳ)
10. 10  
Il eut faim, et il voulut manger. Pendant qu'on lui préparait à manger, il tomba en extase.
- And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, (Ⅱ)
- ἐγένετο δὲ πρόσπεινος καὶ ἤθελεν γεύσασθαι· παρασκευαζόντων δὲ ⸀αὐτῶν ⸀ἐγένετο ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἔκστασις, (Ⅲ)
- Et cum esuriret, voluit gustare. Parantibus autem illis, cecidit super eum mentis excessus : (Ⅳ)
10. 11  
Il vit le ciel ouvert, et un objet semblable à une grande nappe attachée par les quatre coins, qui descendait et s'abaissait vers la terre,
- And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: (Ⅱ)
- καὶ θεωρεῖ τὸν οὐρανὸν ἀνεῳγμένον καὶ ⸀καταβαῖνον σκεῦός τι ὡς ὀθόνην μεγάλην τέσσαρσιν ⸀ἀρχαῖς καθιέμενον ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, (Ⅲ)
- et vidit cælum apertum, et descendens vas quoddam, velut linteum magnum, quatuor initiis submitti de cælo in terram, (Ⅳ)
10. 12  
et où se trouvaient tous les quadrupèdes et les reptiles de la terre et les oiseaux du ciel.
- Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. (Ⅱ)
- ἐν ᾧ ὑπῆρχεν πάντα τὰ τετράποδα ⸂καὶ ἑρπετὰ τῆς γῆς καὶ⸃ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. (Ⅲ)
- in quo erant omnia quadrupedia, et serpentia terræ, et volatilia cæli. (Ⅳ)
10. 13  
Et une voix lui dit: Lève-toi, Pierre, tue et mange.
- And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐγένετο φωνὴ πρὸς αὐτόν· Ἀναστάς, Πέτρε, θῦσον καὶ φάγε. (Ⅲ)
- Et facta est vox ad eum : Surge, Petre : occide, et manduca. (Ⅳ)
10. 14  
Mais Pierre dit: Non, Seigneur, car je n'ai jamais rien mangé de souillé ni d'impur.
- But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ δὲ Πέτρος εἶπεν· Μηδαμῶς, κύριε, ὅτι οὐδέποτε ἔφαγον πᾶν κοινὸν ⸀καὶ ἀκάθαρτον. (Ⅲ)
- Ait autem Petrus : Absit Domine, quia numquam manducavi omne commune et immundum. (Ⅳ)
10. 15  
Et pour la seconde fois la voix se fit encore entendre à lui: Ce que Dieu a déclaré pur, ne le regarde pas comme souillé.
- And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ φωνὴ πάλιν ἐκ δευτέρου πρὸς αὐτόν· Ἃ ὁ θεὸς ἐκαθάρισεν σὺ μὴ κοίνου. (Ⅲ)
- Et vox iterum secundo ad eum : Quod Deus purificavit, tu commune ne dixeris. (Ⅳ)
10. 16  
Cela arriva jusqu'à trois fois; et aussitôt après, l'objet fut retiré dans le ciel.
- This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. (Ⅱ)
- τοῦτο δὲ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ τρίς, καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς ἀνελήμφθη τὸ σκεῦος εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. (Ⅲ)
- Hoc autem factum est per ter : et statim receptum est vas in cælum. (Ⅳ)
10. 17  
Tandis que Pierre ne savait en lui-même que penser du sens de la vision qu'il avait eue, voici, les hommes envoyés par Corneille, s'étant informés de la maison de Simon, se présentèrent à la porte,
- Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate, (Ⅱ)
- Ὡς δὲ ἐν ἑαυτῷ διηπόρει ὁ Πέτρος τί ἂν εἴη τὸ ὅραμα ὃ εἶδεν, ⸀ἰδοὺ οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ ἀπεσταλμένοι ⸀ὑπὸ τοῦ Κορνηλίου διερωτήσαντες τὴν οἰκίαν ⸀τοῦ Σίμωνος ἐπέστησαν ἐπὶ τὸν πυλῶνα, (Ⅲ)
- Et dum intra se hæsitaret Petrus quidnam esset visio quam vidisset, ecce viri qui missi erant a Cornelio, inquirentes domum Simonis astiterunt ad januam. (Ⅳ)
10. 18  
et demandèrent à haute voix si c'était là que logeait Simon, surnommé Pierre.
- And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ φωνήσαντες ⸀ἐπυνθάνοντο εἰ Σίμων ὁ ἐπικαλούμενος Πέτρος ἐνθάδε ξενίζεται. (Ⅲ)
- Et cum vocassent, interrogabant, si Simon qui cognominatur Petrus illic haberet hospitium. (Ⅳ)
10. 19  
Et comme Pierre était à réfléchir sur la vision, l'Esprit lui dit: Voici, trois hommes te demandent;
- While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. (Ⅱ)
- τοῦ δὲ Πέτρου διενθυμουμένου περὶ τοῦ ὁράματος εἶπεν ⸂αὐτῷ τὸ πνεῦμα⸃· Ἰδοὺ ⸀ἄνδρες ⸀ζητοῦντές σε· (Ⅲ)
- Petro autem cogitante de visione, dixit Spiritus ei : Ecce viri tres quærunt te. (Ⅳ)
10. 20  
lève-toi, descends, et pars avec eux sans hésiter, car c'est moi qui les ai envoyés.
- Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them. (Ⅱ)
- ἀλλὰ ἀναστὰς κατάβηθι καὶ πορεύου σὺν αὐτοῖς μηδὲν διακρινόμενος, ⸀ὅτι ἐγὼ ἀπέσταλκα αὐτούς. (Ⅲ)
- Surge itaque, descende, et vade cum eis nihil dubitans : quia ego misi illos. (Ⅳ)
10. 21  
Pierre donc descendit, et il dit à ces hommes: Voici, je suis celui que vous cherchez; quel est le motif qui vous amène?
- Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come? (Ⅱ)
- καταβὰς δὲ Πέτρος πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας εἶπεν· Ἰδοὺ ἐγώ εἰμι ὃν ζητεῖτε· τίς ἡ αἰτία δι’ ἣν πάρεστε; (Ⅲ)
- Descendens autem Petrus ad viros, dixit : Ecce ego sum, quem quæritis : quæ causa est, propter quam venistis ? (Ⅳ)
10. 22  
Ils répondirent: Corneille, centenier, homme juste et craignant Dieu, et de qui toute la nation des Juifs rend un bon témoignage, a été divinement averti par un saint ange de te faire venir dans sa maison et d'entendre tes paroles.
- And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee. (Ⅱ)
- οἱ δὲ εἶπαν· Κορνήλιος ἑκατοντάρχης, ἀνὴρ δίκαιος καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν θεὸν μαρτυρούμενός τε ὑπὸ ὅλου τοῦ ἔθνους τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ἐχρηματίσθη ὑπὸ ἀγγέλου ἁγίου μεταπέμψασθαί σε εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκοῦσαι ῥήματα παρὰ σοῦ. (Ⅲ)
- Qui dixerunt : Cornelius centurio, vir justus et timens Deum, et testimonium habens ab universa gente Judæorum, responsum accepit ab angelo sancto accersire te in domum suam, et audire verba abs te. (Ⅳ)
10. 23  
Pierre donc les fit entrer, et les logea. Le lendemain, il se leva, et partit avec eux. Quelques-uns des frères de Joppé l'accompagnèrent.
- Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him. (Ⅱ)
- εἰσκαλεσάμενος οὖν αὐτοὺς ἐξένισεν. Τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον ⸀ἀναστὰς ἐξῆλθεν σὺν αὐτοῖς, καί τινες τῶν ἀδελφῶν τῶν ἀπὸ Ἰόππης συνῆλθον αὐτῷ. (Ⅲ)
- Introducens ergo eos, recepit hospitio. Sequenti autem die, surgens profectus est cum illis, et quidam ex fratribus ab Joppe comitati sunt eum.\ (Ⅳ)
10. 24  
Ils arrivèrent à Césarée le jour suivant. Corneille les attendait, et avait invité ses parents et ses amis intimes.
- And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends. (Ⅱ)
- ⸂τῇ δὲ⸃ ἐπαύριον ⸀εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν Καισάρειαν. ὁ δὲ Κορνήλιος ἦν προσδοκῶν αὐτοὺς συγκαλεσάμενος τοὺς συγγενεῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἀναγκαίους φίλους. (Ⅲ)
- Altera autem die introivit Cæsaream. Cornelius vero exspectabat illos, convocatis cognatis suis et necessariis amicis. (Ⅳ)
10. 25  
Lorsque Pierre entra, Corneille, qui était allé au-devant de lui, tomba à ses pieds et se prosterna.
- And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. (Ⅱ)
- ὡς δὲ ἐγένετο τοῦ εἰσελθεῖν τὸν Πέτρον, συναντήσας αὐτῷ ὁ Κορνήλιος πεσὼν ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας προσεκύνησεν. (Ⅲ)
- Et factum est cum introisset Petrus, obvius venit ei Cornelius, et procidens ad pedes ejus adoravit. (Ⅳ)
10. 26  
Mais Pierre le releva, en disant: Lève-toi; moi aussi, je suis un homme.
- But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. (Ⅱ)
- ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ⸂ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν⸃ λέγων· Ἀνάστηθι· καὶ ἐγὼ αὐτὸς ἄνθρωπός εἰμι. (Ⅲ)
- Petrus vero elevavit eum, dicens : Surge : et ego ipse homo sum. (Ⅳ)
10. 27  
Et conversant avec lui, il entra, et trouva beaucoup de personnes réunies.
- And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ συνομιλῶν αὐτῷ εἰσῆλθεν, καὶ εὑρίσκει συνεληλυθότας πολλούς, (Ⅲ)
- Et loquens cum illo intravit, et invenit multos qui convenerant : (Ⅳ)
10. 28  
Vous savez, leur dit-il, qu'il est défendu à un Juif de se lier avec un étranger ou d'entrer chez lui; mais Dieu m'a appris à ne regarder aucun homme comme souillé et impur.
- And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. (Ⅱ)
- ἔφη τε πρὸς αὐτούς· Ὑμεῖς ἐπίστασθε ὡς ἀθέμιτόν ἐστιν ἀνδρὶ Ἰουδαίῳ κολλᾶσθαι ἢ προσέρχεσθαι ἀλλοφύλῳ· κἀμοὶ ὁ θεὸς ἔδειξεν μηδένα κοινὸν ἢ ἀκάθαρτον λέγειν ἄνθρωπον· (Ⅲ)
- dixitque ad illos : Vos scitis quomodo abominatum sit viro Judæo conjungi aut accedere ad alienigenam : sed mihi ostendit Deus neminem communem aut immundum dicere hominem. (Ⅳ)
10. 29  
C'est pourquoi je n'ai pas eu d'objection à venir, puisque vous m'avez appelé; je vous demande donc pour quel motif vous m'avez envoyé chercher.
- Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me? (Ⅱ)
- διὸ καὶ ἀναντιρρήτως ἦλθον μεταπεμφθείς πυνθάνομαι οὖν τίνι λόγῳ μετεπέμψασθέ με. (Ⅲ)
- Propter quod sine dubitatione veni accersitus. Interrogo ergo, quam ob causam accersistis me ? (Ⅳ)
10. 30  
Corneille dit: Il y a quatre jours, à cette heure-ci, je priais dans ma maison à la neuvième heure; et voici, un homme vêtu d'un habit éclatant se présenta devant moi, et dit:
- And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, (Ⅱ)
- Καὶ ὁ Κορνήλιος ἔφη· Ἀπὸ τετάρτης ἡμέρας μέχρι ταύτης τῆς ὥρας ⸀ἤμην τὴν ⸀ἐνάτην προσευχόμενος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ἔστη ἐνώπιόν μου ἐν ἐσθῆτι λαμπρᾷ (Ⅲ)
- Et Cornelius ait : A nudiusquarta die usque ad hanc horam, orans eram hora nona in domo mea, et ecce vir stetit ante me in veste candida, et ait : (Ⅳ)
10. 31  
Corneille, ta prière a été exaucée, et Dieu s'est souvenu de tes aumônes.
- And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ φησί· Κορνήλιε, εἰσηκούσθη σου ἡ προσευχὴ καὶ αἱ ἐλεημοσύναι σου ἐμνήσθησαν ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ. (Ⅲ)
- Corneli, exaudita est oratio tua, et eleemosynæ tuæ commemoratæ sunt in conspectu Dei. (Ⅳ)
10. 32  
Envoie donc à Joppé, et fais venir Simon, surnommé Pierre; il est logé dans la maison de Simon, corroyeur, près de la mer.
- Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee. (Ⅱ)
- πέμψον οὖν εἰς Ἰόππην καὶ μετακάλεσαι Σίμωνα ὃς ἐπικαλεῖται Πέτρος· οὗτος ξενίζεται ἐν οἰκίᾳ Σίμωνος βυρσέως παρὰ ⸀θάλασσαν. (Ⅲ)
- Mitte ergo in Joppen, et accersi Simonem qui cognominatur Petrus : hic hospitatur in domo Simonis coriarii juxta mare. (Ⅳ)
10. 33  
Aussitôt j'ai envoyé vers toi, et tu as bien fait de venir. Maintenant donc nous sommes tous devant Dieu, pour entendre tout ce que le Seigneur t'a ordonné de nous dire.
- Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξαυτῆς οὖν ἔπεμψα πρὸς σέ, σύ τε καλῶς ἐποίησας παραγενόμενος. νῦν οὖν πάντες ἡμεῖς ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ πάρεσμεν ἀκοῦσαι πάντα τὰ προστεταγμένα σοι ὑπὸ τοῦ ⸀κυρίου. (Ⅲ)
- Confestim ergo misi ad te : et tu benefecisti veniendo. Nunc ergo omnes nos in conspectu tuo adsumus audire omnia quæcumque tibi præcepta sunt a Domino.\ (Ⅳ)
10. 34  
Alors Pierre, ouvrant la bouche, dit: En vérité, je reconnais que Dieu ne fait point acception de personnes,
- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: (Ⅱ)
- Ἀνοίξας δὲ Πέτρος τὸ στόμα εἶπεν· Ἐπ’ ἀληθείας καταλαμβάνομαι ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν προσωπολήμπτης ὁ θεός, (Ⅲ)
- Aperiens autem Petrus os suum, dixit : In veritate comperi quia non est personarum acceptor Deus ; (Ⅳ)
10. 35  
mais qu'en toute nation celui qui le craint et qui pratique la justice lui est agréable.
- But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. (Ⅱ)
- ἀλλ’ ἐν παντὶ ἔθνει ὁ φοβούμενος αὐτὸν καὶ ἐργαζόμενος δικαιοσύνην δεκτὸς αὐτῷ ἐστιν. (Ⅲ)
- sed in omni gente qui timet eum, et operatur justitiam, acceptus est illi. (Ⅳ)
10. 36  
Il a envoyé la parole aux fils d'Israël, en leur annonçant la paix par Jésus Christ, qui est le Seigneur de tous.
- The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) (Ⅱ)

Vous savez ce qui est arrivé dans toute la Judée, après avoir commencé en Galilée, à la suite du baptême que Jean a prêché;
- That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; (Ⅱ)
- ὑμεῖς οἴδατε τὸ γενόμενον ῥῆμα καθ’ ὅλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας, ⸀ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας μετὰ τὸ βάπτισμα ὃ ἐκήρυξεν Ἰωάννης, (Ⅲ)
- Vos scitis quod factum est verbum per universam Judæam : incipiens enim a Galilæa post baptismum quod prædicavit Joannes, (Ⅳ)
10. 38  
vous savez comment Dieu a oint du Saint Esprit et de force Jésus de Nazareth, qui allait de lieu en lieu faisant du bien et guérissant tous ceux qui étaient sous l'empire du diable, car Dieu était avec lui.
- How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Ⅱ)
- Ἰησοῦν τὸν ἀπὸ Ναζαρέθ, ὡς ἔχρισεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεὸς πνεύματι ἁγίῳ καὶ δυνάμει, ὃς διῆλθεν εὐεργετῶν καὶ ἰώμενος πάντας τοὺς καταδυναστευομένους ὑπὸ τοῦ διαβόλου, ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἦν μετ’ αὐτοῦ· (Ⅲ)
- Jesum a Nazareth : quomodo unxit eum Deus Spiritu Sancto, et virtute, qui pertransiit benefaciendo, et sanando omnes oppressos a diabolo, quoniam Deus erat cum illo. (Ⅳ)
10. 39  
Nous sommes témoins de tout ce qu'il a fait dans le pays des Juifs et à Jérusalem. Ils l'ont tué, en le pendant au bois.
- And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ⸀ἡμεῖς μάρτυρες πάντων ὧν ἐποίησεν ἔν τε τῇ χώρᾳ τῶν Ἰουδαίων ⸀καὶ Ἰερουσαλήμ· ὃν καὶ ἀνεῖλαν κρεμάσαντες ἐπὶ ξύλου. (Ⅲ)
- Et nos testes sumus omnium quæ fecit in regione Judæorum, et Jerusalem, quem occiderunt suspendentes in ligno. (Ⅳ)

Dieu l'a ressuscité le troisième jour, et il a permis qu'il apparût,
- Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; (Ⅱ)
- τοῦτον ὁ θεὸς ἤγειρεν ⸀τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρᾳ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὸν ἐμφανῆ γενέσθαι, (Ⅲ)
- Hunc Deus suscitavit tertia die, et dedit eum manifestum fieri, (Ⅳ)

non à tout le peuple, mais aux témoins choisis d'avance par Dieu, à nous qui avons mangé et bu avec lui, après qu'il fut ressuscité des morts.
- Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. (Ⅱ)
- οὐ παντὶ τῷ λαῷ ἀλλὰ μάρτυσι τοῖς προκεχειροτονημένοις ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἡμῖν, οἵτινες συνεφάγομεν καὶ συνεπίομεν αὐτῷ μετὰ τὸ ἀναστῆναι αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν· (Ⅲ)
- non omni populo, sed testibus præordinatis a Deo : nobis, qui manducavimus et bibimus cum illo postquam resurrexit a mortuis. (Ⅳ)
10. 42  
Et Jésus nous a ordonné de prêcher au peuple et d'attester que c'est lui qui a été établi par Dieu juge des vivants et des morts.
- And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ παρήγγειλεν ἡμῖν κηρύξαι τῷ λαῷ καὶ διαμαρτύρασθαι ὅτι ⸀οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ ὡρισμένος ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ κριτὴς ζώντων καὶ νεκρῶν. (Ⅲ)
- Et præcepit nobis prædicare populo, et testificari, quia ipse est qui constitutus est a Deo judex vivorum et mortuorum. (Ⅳ)
10. 43  
Tous les prophètes rendent de lui le témoignage que quiconque croit en lui reçoit par son nom le pardon des péchés.
- To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. (Ⅱ)
- τούτῳ πάντες οἱ προφῆται μαρτυροῦσιν, ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν λαβεῖν διὰ τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ πάντα τὸν πιστεύοντα εἰς αὐτόν. (Ⅲ)
- Huic omnes prophetæ testimonium perhibent remissionem peccatorum accipere per nomen ejus omnes qui credunt in eum.\ (Ⅳ)
10. 44  
Comme Pierre prononçait encore ces mots, le Saint Esprit descendit sur tous ceux qui écoutaient la parole.
- While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. (Ⅱ)
- Ἔτι λαλοῦντος τοῦ Πέτρου τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα ἐπέπεσε τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀκούοντας τὸν λόγον. (Ⅲ)
- Adhuc loquente Petro verba hæc, cecidit Spiritus Sanctus super omnes qui audiebant verbum. (Ⅳ)
10. 45  
Tous les fidèles circoncis qui étaient venus avec Pierre furent étonnés de ce que le don du Saint Esprit était aussi répandu sur les païens.
- And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξέστησαν οἱ ἐκ περιτομῆς πιστοὶ ⸀ὅσοι συνῆλθαν τῷ Πέτρῳ, ὅτι καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη ἡ δωρεὰ τοῦ ⸂ἁγίου πνεύματος⸃ ἐκκέχυται· (Ⅲ)
- Et obstupuerunt ex circumcisione fideles qui venerant cum Petro, quia et in nationes gratia Spiritus Sancti effusa est. (Ⅳ)
10. 46  
Car ils les entendaient parler en langues et glorifier Dieu.
- For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, (Ⅱ)
- ἤκουον γὰρ αὐτῶν λαλούντων γλώσσαις καὶ μεγαλυνόντων τὸν θεόν. τότε ⸀ἀπεκρίθη Πέτρος· (Ⅲ)
- Audiebant enim illos loquentes linguis, et magnificantes Deum. (Ⅳ)

Alors Pierre dit: Peut-on refuser l'eau du baptême à ceux qui ont reçu le Saint Esprit aussi bien que nous?
- Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? (Ⅱ)
- Μήτι τὸ ὕδωρ ⸂δύναται κωλῦσαί⸃ τις τοῦ μὴ βαπτισθῆναι τούτους οἵτινες τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον ἔλαβον ⸀ὡς καὶ ἡμεῖς; (Ⅲ)
- Tunc respondit Petrus : Numquid aquam quis prohibere potest ut non baptizentur hi qui Spiritum Sanctum acceperunt sicut et nos ? (Ⅳ)
10. 48  
Et il ordonna qu'ils fussent baptisés au nom du Seigneur. Sur quoi ils le prièrent de rester quelques jours auprès d'eux.
- And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. (Ⅱ)
- προσέταξεν ⸀δὲ αὐτοὺς ⸂ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ βαπτισθῆναι⸃. τότε ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν ἐπιμεῖναι ἡμέρας τινάς. (Ⅲ)
- Et jussit eos baptizari in nomine Domini Jesu Christi. Tunc rogaverunt eum ut maneret apud eos aliquot diebus. (Ⅳ)
