100. 0  
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ)
- Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅳ)
- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)
100. 1  
By the snorting courses,
- WaalAAadiyati dabhan (Ⅰ)
- By the snorting chargers! (Ⅱ)
- By the snorting chargers, (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا (Ⅳ)
- By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), (Ⅵ)
100. 2  
Striking sparks of fire
- Faalmooriyati qadhan (Ⅰ)
- And those who strike fire with their hoofs! (Ⅱ)
- by the strikers of fire, (Ⅲ)
- فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا (Ⅳ)
- And strike sparks of fire, (Ⅵ)
100. 3  
And scouring to the raid at dawn,
- Faalmugheerati subhan (Ⅰ)
- And those who make incursions in the morning, (Ⅱ)
- by the dawn-raiders (Ⅲ)
- فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا (Ⅳ)
- And push home the charge in the morning, (Ⅵ)
100. 4  
Then, therewith, with their trail of dust,
- Faatharna bihi naqAAan (Ⅰ)
- And raise up dust therein, (Ⅱ)
- blazing a trail of dust, (Ⅲ)
- فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا (Ⅳ)
- And raise the dust in clouds the while, (Ⅵ)
100. 5  
Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe),
- Fawasatna bihi jamAAan (Ⅰ)
- And cleave through a host therein! (Ⅱ)
- cleaving there with a host! (Ⅲ)
- فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا (Ⅳ)
- And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- (Ⅵ)
100. 6  
Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord
- Inna alinsana lirabbihi lakanoodun (Ⅰ)
- Verily, man is to his Lord ungrateful; (Ⅱ)
- Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, (Ⅲ)
- إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ (Ⅳ)
- Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; (Ⅵ)
100. 7  
And lo! he is a witness unto that;
- Wainnahu AAala thalika lashaheedun (Ⅰ)
- And, verily, he is a witness of that. (Ⅱ)
- and surely he is a witness against that! (Ⅲ)
- وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ (Ⅳ)
- And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); (Ⅵ)
100. 8  
And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent.
- Wainnahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeedun (Ⅰ)
- Verily, he is keen in his love of wealth. (Ⅱ)
- Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. (Ⅲ)
- وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ (Ⅳ)
- And violent is he in his love of wealth. (Ⅵ)
100. 9  
Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth
- Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira ma fee alquboori (Ⅰ)
- Does he not know when the tombs are exposed, (Ⅱ)
- Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, (Ⅲ)
- ۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ (Ⅳ)
- Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad (Ⅵ)
100. 10  
And the secrets of the breasts are made known,
- Wahussila ma fee alssudoori (Ⅰ)
- And what is in the breasts is brought to light? (Ⅱ)
- and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- (Ⅲ)
- وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ (Ⅳ)
- And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- (Ⅵ)
100. 11  
On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them.
- Inna rabbahum bihim yawmaithin lakhabeerun (Ⅰ)
- Verily, your Lord upon that day indeed is well aware. (Ⅱ)
- surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! (Ⅲ)
- إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌ (Ⅳ)
- That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? (Ⅵ)
