93. 0  
Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being,
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ)
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅳ)
- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)
93. 1  
By the white forenoon
- Waaldduha (Ⅰ)
- By the glorious morning light! (Ⅱ)
- By the morning hours (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالضُّحَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- By the Glorious Morning Light, (Ⅵ)
93. 2  
and the brooding night!
- Waallayli itha saja (Ⅰ)
- And the night when it is still! (Ⅱ)
- And by the night when it is stillest, (Ⅲ)
- وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- And by the Night when it is still,- (Ⅵ)
93. 3  
Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee
- Ma waddaAAaka rabbuka wama qala (Ⅰ)
- Your Lord has not forsaken you (Muhammad), nor is displeased with you! (Ⅱ)
- Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, (Ⅲ)
- مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. (Ⅵ)
93. 4  
and the Last shall be better for thee than the First.
- Walalakhiratu khayrun laka mina aloola (Ⅰ)
- And surely the Hereafter is better for you than the present; (Ⅱ)
- And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, (Ⅲ)
- وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. (Ⅵ)
93. 5  
Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied.
- Walasawfa yuAAteeka rabbuka fatarda (Ⅰ)
- And in the end your Lord will give you, and you shall be well pleased! (Ⅱ)
- And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. (Ⅲ)
- وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. (Ⅵ)
93. 6  
Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee?
- Alam yajidka yateeman faawa (Ⅰ)
- Did He not find you an orphan, and give you protection? (Ⅱ)
- Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee) ? (Ⅲ)
- أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? (Ⅵ)
93. 7  
Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee?
- Wawajadaka dallan fahada (Ⅰ)
- And find you wandering (or astray), and guide you ? (Ⅱ)
- Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee) ? (Ⅲ)
- وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. (Ⅵ)
93. 8  
Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee?
- Wawajadaka AAailan faaghna (Ⅰ)
- And find you in need, and enriched you (or made you independent)? (Ⅱ)
- Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee) ? (Ⅲ)
- وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ (Ⅳ)
- And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. (Ⅵ)
93. 9  
As for the orphan, do not oppress him,
- Faamma alyateema fala taqhar (Ⅰ)
- Therefore, the orphan oppress him not; (Ⅱ)
- Therefor the orphan oppress not, (Ⅲ)
- فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ (Ⅳ)
- Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, (Ⅵ)
93. 10  
and as for the beggar, scold him not;
- Waamma alssaila fala tanhar (Ⅰ)
- Nor the beggar (or petitioner) drive away, (Ⅱ)
- Therefor the beggar drive not away, (Ⅲ)
- وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ (Ⅳ)
- Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); (Ⅵ)
93. 11  
and as for thy Lord´s blessing, declare it.
- Waamma biniAAmati rabbika fahaddith (Ⅰ)
- And as for the favour of your Lord, discourse (proclaim) thereof. (Ⅱ)
- Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. (Ⅲ)
- وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ (Ⅳ)
- But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! (Ⅵ)
