94. 0  
Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅰ)
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅱ)
- Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅳ)
- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)
94. 1  
Alam nashrah laka sadraka
- Have We not expanded for you your breast? (Ⅰ)
- Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, (Ⅱ)
- Did We not expand thy breast for thee (Ⅲ)
- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ (Ⅳ)
- Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- (Ⅵ)
94. 2  
WawadaAAna AAanka wizraka
- And set down from you your load (Ⅰ)
- And eased thee of the burden (Ⅱ)
- and lift from thee thy burden, (Ⅲ)
- وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ (Ⅳ)
- And removed from thee thy burden (Ⅵ)
94. 3  
Allathee anqada thahraka
- Which galled your back? (Ⅰ)
- Which weighed down thy back; (Ⅱ)
- the burden that weighed down thy back? (Ⅲ)
- الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ (Ⅳ)
- The which did gall thy back?- (Ⅵ)
94. 4  
WarafaAAna laka thikraka
- And exalted for you your renown? (Ⅰ)
- And exalted thy fame ? (Ⅱ)
- Did We not exalt thy fame? (Ⅲ)
- وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ (Ⅳ)
- And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? (Ⅵ)
94. 5  
Fainna maAAa alAAusri yusran
- Verily, with difficulty comes ease! (Ⅰ)
- But lo! with hardship goeth ease, (Ⅱ)
- So truly with hardship comes ease, (Ⅲ)
- فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (Ⅳ)
- So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: (Ⅵ)
94. 6  
Inna maAAa alAAusri yusran
- Verily, with difficulty comes ease! (Ⅰ)
- Lo! with hardship goeth ease; (Ⅱ)
- truly with hardship comes ease.´ (Ⅲ)
- إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (Ⅳ)
- Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. (Ⅵ)
94. 7  
Faitha faraghta fainsab
- So when you are at relieved, then still toil, (Ⅰ)
- So when thou art relieved, still toil (Ⅱ)
- So when thou art empty, labour, (Ⅲ)
- فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ (Ⅳ)
- Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, (Ⅵ)
94. 8  
Waila rabbika fairghab
- And to your Lord turn all your yearning (or attention)! (Ⅰ)
- And strive to please thy Lord. (Ⅱ)
- and let thy Lord be thy Quest. (Ⅲ)
- وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَب (Ⅳ)
- And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. (Ⅵ)
