In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ) - The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ) - Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅲ) - بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (Ⅳ) - Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)

99.
1
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake
- Itha zulzilati alardu zilzalaha (Ⅰ) - When the earth shall be shaken with its quaking! (Ⅱ) - When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking (Ⅲ) - بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا (Ⅳ) - When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, (Ⅵ)

And Earth yieldeth up her burdens,
- Waakhrajati alardu athqalaha (Ⅰ) - And the earth shall bring forth her burdens, (Ⅱ) - and earth brings forth her burdens, (Ⅲ) - وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا (Ⅳ) - And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), (Ⅵ)

And man saith: What aileth her ?
- Waqala alinsanu ma laha (Ⅰ) - And man shall say, "What ails her!" (Ⅱ) - and Man says., ´What ails her?´ (Ⅲ) - وَقَالَ الْإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا (Ⅳ) - And man cries (distressed): ´What is the matter with her?´- (Ⅵ)

That day she will relate her chronicles,
- Yawmaithin tuhaddithu akhbaraha (Ⅰ) - On that day she shall tell her tidings, (Ⅱ) - upon that day she shall tell her tidings (Ⅲ) - يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا (Ⅳ) - On that Day will she declare her tidings: (Ⅵ)

Because thy Lord inspireth her.
- Bianna rabbaka awha laha (Ⅰ) - Because your Lord inspires her. (Ⅱ) - for that her Lord has inspired her. (Ⅲ) - بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا (Ⅳ) - For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. (Ⅵ)

That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds.
- Yawmaithin yasduru alnnasu ashtatan liyuraw aAAmalahum (Ⅰ) - On the day when men shall come up in separate bands to show their works: (Ⅱ) - Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, (Ⅲ) - يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ (Ⅳ) - On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). (Ⅵ)

And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then,
- Faman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin khayran yarahu (Ⅰ) - And he who does the weight of an atom of good shall see it then! (Ⅱ) - and whoso has done an atom´s weight of good shall see it, (Ⅲ) - فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ (Ⅳ) - Then shall anyone who has done an atom´s weight of good, see it! (Ⅵ)

And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then.
- Waman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin sharran yarahu (Ⅰ) - And he who does the weight of an atom of evil shall see it! (Ⅱ) - and whoso has done an atom´s weight of evil shall see it. (Ⅲ) - وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ (Ⅳ) - And anyone who has done an atom´s weight of evil, shall see it. (Ⅵ)
