13. 1

‫ 1 ׃13 ויועץ דויד עם שרי האלפים והמאות לכל נגיד ‬

- David tint conseil avec les chefs de milliers et de centaines, avec tous les princes. (Ⅱ)

- And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐβουλεύσατο Δαυιδ μετὰ τω̃ν χιλιάρχων καὶ τω̃ν ἑκατοντάρχων παντὶ ἡγουμένω̨ (Ⅳ)

- Iniit autem consilium David cum tribunis, et centurionibus, et universis principibus, (Ⅴ)

13. 2

‫ 2 ׃13 ויאמר דויד לכל קהל ישראל אם עליכם טוב ומן יהוה אלהינו נפרצה נשלחה על אחינו הנשארים בכל ארצות ישראל ועמהם הכהנים והלוים בערי מגרשיהם ויקבצו אלינו ‬

- Et David dit à toute l'assemblée d'Israël: Si vous le trouvez bon, et si cela vient de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, envoyons de tous côtés vers nos frères qui restent dans toutes les contrées d'Israël, et aussi vers les sacrificateurs et les Lévites dans les villes où sont leurs banlieues, afin qu'ils se réunissent à nous, (Ⅱ)

- And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us: (Ⅲ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ τη̨̃ πάση̨ ἐκκλησία̨ Ισραηλ εἰ ἐφ' ὑμι̃ν ἀγαθὸν καὶ παρὰ κυρίου θεου̃ ἡμω̃ν εὐοδωθη̨̃ ἀποστείλωμεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἡμω̃ν τοὺς ὑπολελειμμένους ἐν πάση̨ γη̨̃ Ισραηλ καὶ μετ' αὐτω̃ν οἱ ἱερει̃ς οἱ Λευι̃ται ἐν πόλεσιν κατασχέσεως αὐτω̃ν καὶ συναχθήσονται πρὸς ἡμα̃ς (Ⅳ)

- et ait ad omnem cœtum Israël : Si placet vobis, et a Domino Deo nostro egreditur sermo quem loquor, mittamus ad fratres nostros reliquos in universas regiones Israël, et ad sacerdotes et Levitas qui habitant in suburbanis urbium, ut congregentur ad nos, (Ⅴ)

13. 3

‫ 3 ׃13 ונסבה את ארון אלהינו אלינו כי לא דרשנהו בימי שאול ‬

- et ramenons auprès de nous l'arche de notre Dieu, car nous ne nous en sommes pas occupés du temps de Saül. (Ⅱ)

- And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we inquired not at it in the days of Saul. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ μετενέγκωμεν τὴν κιβωτὸν του̃ θεου̃ ἡμω̃ν πρὸς ἡμα̃ς ὅτι οὐκ ἐζήτησαν αὐτὴν ἀφ' ἡμερω̃ν Σαουλ (Ⅳ)

- et reducamus arcam Dei nostri ad nos : non enim requisivimus eam in diebus Saul. (Ⅴ)

13. 4

‫ 4 ׃13 ויאמרו כל הקהל לעשות כן כי ישר הדבר בעיני כל העם ‬

- Toute l'assemblée décida de faire ainsi, car la chose parut convenable à tout le peuple. (Ⅱ)

- And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν πα̃σα ἡ ἐκκλησία του̃ ποιη̃σαι οὕτως ὅτι εὐθὴς ὁ λόγος ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς παντὸς του̃ λαου̃ (Ⅳ)

- Et respondit universa multitudo ut ita fieret : placuerat enim sermo omni populo. (Ⅴ)

13. 5

‫ 5 ׃13 ויקהל דויד את כל ישראל מן שיחור מצרים ועד לבוא חמת להביא את ארון האלהים מקרית יערים ‬

- David assembla tout Israël, depuis le Schichor d'Égypte jusqu'à l'entrée de Hamath, pour faire venir de Kirjath Jearim l'arche de Dieu. (Ⅱ)

- So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασεν Δαυιδ τὸν πάντα Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ὁρίων Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἕως εἰσόδου Ημαθ του̃ εἰσενέγκαι τὴν κιβωτὸν του̃ θεου̃ ἐκ πόλεως Ιαριμ (Ⅳ)

- Congregavit ergo David cunctum Israël, a Sihor Ægypti usque dum ingrediaris Emath, ut adduceret arcam Dei de Cariathiarim. (Ⅴ)

13. 6

‫ 6 ׃13 ויעל דויד וכל ישראל בעלתה אל קרית יערים אשר ליהודה להעלות משם את ארון האלהים יהוה יושב הכרובים אשר נקרא שם ‬

- Et David, avec tout Israël, monta à Baala, à Kirjath Jearim, qui est à Juda, pour faire monter de là l'arche de Dieu, devant laquelle est invoqué le nom de l'Éternel qui réside entre les chérubins. (Ⅱ)

- And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubim, whose name is called on it. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀνήγαγεν αὐτὴν Δαυιδ καὶ πα̃ς Ισραηλ ἀνέβη εἰς πόλιν Δαυιδ ἣ ἠ̃ν του̃ Ιουδα του̃ ἀναγαγει̃ν ἐκει̃θεν τὴν κιβωτὸν του̃ θεου̃ κυρίου καθημένου ἐπὶ χερουβιν οὑ̃ ἐπεκλήθη ὄνομα αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)

- Et ascendit David, et omnis vir Israël, ad collem Cariathiarim, qui est in Juda, ut afferret inde arcam Domini Dei sedentis super cherubim, ubi invocatum est nomen ejus. (Ⅴ)

13. 7

‫ 7 ׃13 וירכיבו את ארון האלהים על עגלה חדשה מבית אבינדב ועזא ואחיו נהגים בעגלה ‬

- Ils mirent sur un char neuf l'arche de Dieu, qu'ils emportèrent de la maison d'Abinadab: Uzza et Achjo conduisaient le char. (Ⅱ)

- And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐπέθηκαν τὴν κιβωτὸν του̃ θεου̃ ἐπὶ ἅμαξαν καινὴν ἐξ οἴκου Αμιναδαβ καὶ Οζα καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτου̃ ἠ̃γον τὴν ἅμαξαν (Ⅳ)

- Imposueruntque arcam Dei super plaustrum novum, de domo Abinadab : Oza autem, et frater ejus minabant plaustrum. (Ⅴ)

13. 8

‫ 8 ׃13 ודויד וכל ישראל משחקים לפני האלהים בכל עז ובשירים ובכנרות ובנבלים ובתפים ובמצלתים ובחצצרות ‬

- David et tout Israël dansaient devant Dieu de toute leur force, en chantant, et en jouant des harpes, des luths, des tambourins, des cymbales et des trompettes. (Ⅱ)

- And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ Δαυιδ καὶ πα̃ς Ισραηλ παίζοντες ἐναντίον του̃ θεου̃ ἐν πάση̨ δυνάμει καὶ ἐν ψαλτω̨δοι̃ς καὶ ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις ἐν τυμπάνοις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν σάλπιγξιν (Ⅳ)

- Porro David, et universus Israël, ludebant coram Deo omni virtute in canticis, et in citharis, et psalteriis, et tympanis, et cymbalis, et tubis. (Ⅴ)

13. 9

‫ 9 ׃13 ויבאו עד גרן כידן וישלח עזא את ידו לאחז את הארון כי שמטו הבקר ‬

- Lorsqu'ils furent arrivés à l'aire de Kidon, Uzza étendit la main pour saisir l'arche, parce que les boeufs la faisaient pencher. (Ⅱ)

- And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἤλθοσαν ἕως τη̃ς ἅλωνος καὶ ἐξέτεινεν Οζα τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ του̃ κατασχει̃ν τὴν κιβωτόν ὅτι ἐξέκλινεν αὐτὴν ὁ μόσχος (Ⅳ)

- Cum autem pervenisset ad aream Chidon, tetendit Oza manum suam, ut sustentaret arcam : bos quippe lasciviens paululum inclinaverat eam. (Ⅴ)

13. 10

‫ 10 ׃13 ויחר אף יהוה בעזא ויכהו על אשר שלח ידו על הארון וימת שם לפני אלהים ‬

- La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Uzza, et l'Éternel le frappa parce qu'il avait étendu la main sur l'arche. Uzza mourut là, devant Dieu. (Ⅱ)

- And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργη̨̃ κύριος ἐπὶ Οζα καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν ἐκει̃ διὰ τὸ ἐκτει̃ναι τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ τὴν κιβωτόν καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκει̃ ἀπέναντι του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅳ)

- Iratus est itaque Dominus contra Ozam, et percussit eum, eo quod tetigisset arcam : et mortuus est ibi coram Domino. (Ⅴ)

13. 11

‫ 11 ׃13 ויחר לדויד כי פרץ יהוה פרץ בעזא ויקרא למקום ההוא פרץ עזא עד היום הזה ‬

- David fut irrité de ce que l'Éternel avait frappé Uzza d'un tel châtiment. Et ce lieu a été appelé jusqu'à ce jour Pérets Uzza. (Ⅱ)

- And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἠθύμησεν Δαυιδ ὅτι διέκοψεν κύριος διακοπὴν ἐν Οζα καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸν τόπον ἐκει̃νον Διακοπὴ Οζα ἕως τη̃ς ἡμέρας ταύτης (Ⅳ)

- Contristatusque est David, eo quod divisisset Dominus Ozam : vocavitque locum illum Divisio Ozæ, usque in præsentem diem. (Ⅴ)

13. 12

‫ 12 ׃13 ויירא דויד את האלהים ביום ההוא לאמר היך אביא אלי את ארון האלהים ‬

- David eut peur de Dieu en ce jour-là, et il dit: Comment ferais-je entrer chez moi l'arche de Dieu? (Ⅱ)

- And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me? (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐφοβήθη Δαυιδ τὸν θεὸν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ λέγων πω̃ς εἰσοίσω πρὸς ἐμαυτὸν τὴν κιβωτὸν του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅳ)

- Et timuit Deum tunc temporis, dicens : Quomodo possum ad me introducere arcam Dei ? (Ⅴ)

13. 13

‫ 13 ׃13 ולא הסיר דויד את הארון אליו אל עיר דויד ויטהו אל בית עבד אדם הגתי ‬

- David ne retira pas l'arche chez lui dans la cité de David, et il la fit conduire dans la maison d'Obed Édom de Gath. (Ⅱ)

- So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ οὐκ ἀπέστρεψεν Δαυιδ τὴν κιβωτὸν πρὸς ἑαυτὸν εἰς πόλιν Δαυιδ καὶ ἐξέκλινεν αὐτὴν εἰς οἰ̃κον Αβεδδαρα του̃ Γεθθαίου (Ⅳ)

- et ob hanc causam non adduxit eam ad se, hoc est, in civitatem David, sed avertit in domum Obededom Gethæi. (Ⅴ)

13. 14

‫ 14 ׃13 וישב ארון האלהים עם בית עבד אדם בביתו שלשה חדשים ויברך יהוה את בית עבד אדם ואת כל אשר לו פ‬

- L'arche de Dieu resta trois mois dans la maison d'Obed Édom, dans sa maison. Et l'Éternel bénit la maison d'Obed Édom et tout ce qui lui appartenait. (Ⅱ)

- And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἡ κιβωτὸς του̃ θεου̃ ἐν οἴκω̨ Αβεδδαρα τρει̃ς μη̃νας καὶ εὐλόγησεν ὁ θεὸς Αβεδδαραμ καὶ πάντα τὰ αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)

- Mansit ergo arca Dei in domo Obededom tribus mensibus : et benedixit Dominus domui ejus, et omnibus quæ habebat. (Ⅴ)
