1 ׃23 ודויד זקן ושבע ימים וימלך את שלמה בנו על ישראל
- David, âgé et rassasié de jours, établit Salomon, son fils, roi sur Israël. (Ⅱ) - So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel. (Ⅲ) - καὶ Δαυιδ πρεσβύτης καὶ πλήρης ἡμερω̃ν καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Σαλωμων τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - Igitur David, senex et plenus dierum, regem constituit Salomonem filium suum super Israël. (Ⅴ)

2 ׃23 ויאסף את כל שרי ישראל והכהנים והלוים
- Il assembla tous les chefs d'Israël, les sacrificateurs et les Lévites. (Ⅱ) - And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites. (Ⅲ) - καὶ συνήγαγεν τοὺς πάντας ἄρχοντας Ισραηλ καὶ τοὺς ἱερει̃ς καὶ τοὺς Λευίτας (Ⅳ) - Et congregavit omnes principes Israël, et sacerdotes atque Levitas. (Ⅴ)

3 ׃23 ויספרו הלוים מבן שלשים שנה ומעלה ויהי מספרם לגלגלתם לגברים שלשים ושמונה אלף
- On fit le dénombrement des Lévites, depuis l'âge de trente ans et au-dessus; comptés par tête et par homme, ils se trouvèrent au nombre de trente-huit mille. (Ⅱ) - Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠριθμήθησαν οἱ Λευι̃ται ἀπὸ τριακονταετου̃ς καὶ ἐπάνω καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτω̃ν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτω̃ν εἰς ἄνδρας τριάκοντα καὶ ὀκτὼ χιλιάδας (Ⅳ) - Numeratique sunt Levitæ a triginta annis et supra : et inventa sunt triginta octo millia virorum. (Ⅴ)

4 ׃23 מאלה לנצח על מלאכת בית יהוה עשרים וארבעה אלף ושטרים ושפטים ששת אלפים
- Et David dit: Qu'il y en ait vingt-quatre mille pour veiller aux offices de la maison de l'Éternel, six mille comme magistrats et juges, (Ⅱ) - Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges: (Ⅲ) - ἀπὸ τούτων ἐργοδιω̃κται ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα οἴκου κυρίου εἴκοσι τέσσαρες χιλιάδες καὶ γραμματει̃ς καὶ κριταὶ ἑξακισχίλιοι (Ⅳ) - Ex his electi sunt, et distributi in ministerium domus Domini, viginti quatuor millia : præpositorum autem et judicum, sex millia. (Ⅴ)

5 ׃23 וארבעת אלפים שערים וארבעת אלפים מהללים ליהוה בכלים אשר עשיתי להלל
- quatre mille comme portiers, et quatre mille chargés de louer l'Éternel avec les instruments que j'ai faits pour le célébrer. (Ⅱ) - Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες πυλωροὶ καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες αἰνου̃ντες τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐν τοι̃ς ὀργάνοις οἱ̃ς ἐποίησεν του̃ αἰνει̃ν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ (Ⅳ) - Porro quatuor millia janitores, et totidem psaltæ, canentes Domino in organis quæ fecerat ad canendum. (Ⅴ)

6 ׃23 ויחלקם דויד מחלקות סלבני לוי לגרשון קהת ומררי ס
- David les divisa en classes d'après les fils de Lévi, Guerschon, Kehath et Merari. (Ⅱ) - And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. (Ⅲ) - καὶ διει̃λεν αὐτοὺς Δαυιδ ἐφημερίας τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Λευι τω̨̃ Γεδσων Κααθ Μεραρι (Ⅳ) - Et distribuit eos David per vices filiorum Levi, Gerson videlicet, et Caath, et Merari. (Ⅴ)

- Fils de Schimeï: Schelomith, Haziel et Haran, trois. Ce sont là les chefs des maisons paternelles de la famille de Laedan. - (Ⅱ) - The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These were the chief of the fathers of Laadan. (Ⅲ) - υἱοὶ Σεμεϊ Σαλωμιθ καὶ Ιιηλ καὶ Αιδαν τρει̃ς οὑ̃τοι ἄρχοντες τω̃ν πατριω̃ν τω̨̃ Εδαν (Ⅳ) - Filii Semei : Salomith, et Hosiel, et Aran, tres : isti principes familiarum Leedan. (Ⅴ)

- Fils de Schimeï: Jachath, Zina, Jeusch et Beria. Ce sont là les quatre fils de Schimeï. (Ⅱ) - And the sons of Shimei were, Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four were the sons of Shimei. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Σεμεϊ Ιεθ καὶ Ζιζα καὶ Ιωας καὶ Βερια οὑ̃τοι υἱοὶ Σεμεϊ τέσσαρες (Ⅳ) - Porro filii Semei : Leheth, et Ziza, et Jaus, et Baria : isti filii Semei, quatuor. (Ⅴ)

11 ׃23 ויהי יחת הראש וזיזה השני ויעוש ובריעה לא הרבו בנים ויהיו לבית אב לפקדה אחת ס
- Jachath était le chef, et Zina le second; Jeusch et Beria n'eurent pas beaucoup de fils, et ils formèrent une seule maison paternelle dans le dénombrement. (Ⅱ) - And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their father's house. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠ̃ν Ιεθ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ Ζιζα ὁ δεύτερος καὶ Ιωας καὶ Βερια οὐκ ἐπλήθυναν υἱοὺς καὶ ἐγένοντο εἰς οἰ̃κον πατρια̃ς εἰς ἐπίσκεψιν μίαν (Ⅳ) - Erat autem Leheth prior, Ziza secundus : porro Jaus et Baria non habuerunt plurimos filios, et idcirco in una familia, unaque domo computati sunt. (Ⅴ)

- Fils de Kehath: Amram, Jitsehar, Hébron et Uziel, quatre. - (Ⅱ) - The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four. (Ⅲ) - υἱοὶ Κααθ Αμβραμ Ισσααρ Χεβρων Οζιηλ τέσσαρες (Ⅳ) - Filii Caath : Amram, et Isaar, Hebron, et Oziel, quatuor. (Ⅴ)

13 ׃23 בני עמרם אהרן ומשה ויבדל אהרן להקדישו קדש קדשים הוא ובניו עד עולם להקטיר לפני יהוה לשרתו ולברך בשמו עד עולם
- Fils d'Amram: Aaron et Moïse. Aaron fut mis à part pour être sanctifié comme très saint, lui et ses fils à perpétuité, pour offrir les parfums devant l'Éternel, pour faire son service, et pour bénir à toujours en son nom. (Ⅱ) - The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever. (Ⅲ) - υἱοὶ Αμβραμ Ααρων καὶ Μωυση̃ς καὶ διεστάλη Ααρων του̃ ἁγιασθη̃ναι ἅγια ἁγίων αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτου̃ ἕως αἰω̃νος του̃ θυμια̃ν ἐναντίον του̃ κυρίου λειτουργει̃ν καὶ ἐπεύχεσθαι ἐπὶ τω̨̃ ὀνόματι αὐτου̃ ἕως αἰω̃νος (Ⅳ) - Filii Amram : Aaron et Moyses. Separatusque est Aaron ut ministraret in Sancto sanctorum, ipse et filii ejus in sempiternum, et adoleret incensum Domino secundum ritum suum, ac benediceret nomini ejus in perpetuum. (Ⅴ)

14 ׃23 ומשה איש האלהים בניו יקראו על שבט הלוי
- Mais les fils de Moïse, homme de Dieu, furent comptés dans la tribu de Lévi. (Ⅱ) - Now concerning Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi. (Ⅲ) - καὶ Μωυση̃ς ἄνθρωπος του̃ θεου̃ υἱοὶ αὐτου̃ ἐκλήθησαν εἰς φυλὴν του̃ Λευι (Ⅳ) - Moysi quoque hominis Dei filii annumerati sunt in tribu Levi. (Ⅴ)

17 ׃23 ויהיו בני אליעזר רחביה הראש ולא היה לאליעזר בנים אחרים ובני רחביה רבו למעלה
- Et les fils d'Éliézer furent: Rechabia, le chef; Éliézer n'eut pas d'autre fils, mais les fils de Rechabia furent très nombreux. - (Ⅱ) - And the sons of Eliezer were, Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠ̃σαν υἱοὶ τω̨̃ Ελιεζερ Ρααβια ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οὐκ ἠ̃σαν τω̨̃ Ελιεζερ υἱοὶ ἕτεροι καὶ υἱοὶ Ρααβια ηὐξήθησαν εἰς ὕψος (Ⅳ) - Fuerunt autem filii Eliezer : Rohobia primus : et non erant Eliezer filii alii. 22 ׃23 וימת אלעזר ולא היו לו בנים כי אם בנות וישאום בני קיש אחיהם
- Éléazar mourut sans avoir de fils; mais il eut des filles, que prirent pour femmes les fils de Kis, leurs frères. - (Ⅱ) - And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ελεαζαρ καὶ οὐκ ἠ̃σαν αὐτω̨̃ υἱοὶ ἀλλ' ἢ θυγατέρες καὶ ἔλαβον αὐτὰς υἱοὶ Κις ἀδελφοὶ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Mortuus est autem Eleazar, et non habuit filios, sed filias : acceperuntque eas filii Cis fratres earum. 24 ׃23 אלה בני לוי לבית אבתיהם ראשי האבות לפקודיהם במספר שמות לגלגלתם עשה המלאכה לעבדת בית יהוה מבן עשרים שנה ומעלה
- Ce sont là les fils de Lévi, selon leurs maisons paternelles, les chefs des maisons paternelles, d'après le dénombrement qu'on en fit en comptant les noms par tête. Ils étaient employés au service de la maison de l'Éternel, depuis l'âge de vingt ans et au-dessus. (Ⅱ) - These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward. (Ⅲ) - οὑ̃τοι υἱοὶ Λευι κατ' οἴκους πατριω̃ν αὐτω̃ν ἄρχοντες τω̃ν πατριω̃ν αὐτω̃ν κατὰ τὴν ἐπίσκεψιν αὐτω̃ν κατὰ τὸν ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτω̃ν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτω̃ν ποιου̃ντες τὰ ἔργα λειτουργίας οἴκου κυρίου ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετου̃ς καὶ ἐπάνω (Ⅳ) - Hi filii Levi in cognationibus et familiis suis, principes per vices, et numerum capitum singulorum qui faciebant opera ministerii domus Domini, a viginti annis et supra. (Ⅴ)

25 ׃23 כי אמר דויד הניח יהוה אלהי ישראל לעמו וישכן בירושלם עד לעולם
- Car David dit: L'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, a donné du repos à son peuple, et il habitera pour toujours à Jérusalem; (Ⅱ) - For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever: (Ⅲ) - ὅτι εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ κατέπαυσεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ κατεσκήνωσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἕως αἰω̃νος (Ⅳ) - Dixit enim David : Requiem dedit Dominus Deus Israël populo suo, et habitationem Jerusalem usque in æternum. (Ⅴ)

26 ׃23 וגם ללוים אין לשאת את המשכן ואת כל כליו לעבדתו
- et les Lévites n'auront plus à porter le tabernacle et tous les ustensiles pour son service. (Ⅱ) - And also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οἱ Λευι̃ται οὐκ ἠ̃σαν αἴροντες τὴν σκηνὴν καὶ τὰ πάντα σκεύη αὐτη̃ς εἰς τὴν λειτουργίαν αὐτη̃ς (Ⅳ) - Nec erit officii Levitarum ut ultra portent tabernaculum et omnia vasa ejus ad ministrandum. (Ⅴ)

27 ׃23 כי בדברי דויד האחרנים המה מספר בני לוי מבן עשרים שנה ולמעלה
- Ce fut d'après les derniers ordres de David qu'eut lieu le dénombrement des fils de Lévi depuis l'âge de vingt ans et au-dessus. (Ⅱ) - For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above: (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἐν τοι̃ς λόγοις Δαυιδ τοι̃ς ἐσχάτοις ἐστὶν ὁ ἀριθμὸς υἱω̃ν Λευι ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετου̃ς καὶ ἐπάνω (Ⅳ) - Juxta præcepta quoque David novissima, supputabitur numerus filiorum Levi a viginti annis et supra. (Ⅴ)

28 ׃23 כי מעמדם ליד בני אהרן לעבדת בית יהוה על החצרות ועל הלשכות ועל טהרת לכל קדש ומעשה עבדת בית האלהים
- Placés auprès des fils d'Aaron pour le service de la maison de l'Éternel, ils avaient à prendre soin des parvis et des chambres, de la purification de toutes les choses saintes, des ouvrages concernant le service de la maison de Dieu, (Ⅱ) - Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God; (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἔστησεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ χει̃ρα Ααρων του̃ λειτουργει̃ν ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου ἐπὶ τὰς αὐλὰς καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ παστοφόρια καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν καθαρισμὸν τω̃ν πάντων ἁγίων καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα λειτουργίας οἴκου του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅳ) - Et erunt sub manu filiorum Aaron in cultum domus Domini, in vestibulis, et in exedris, et in loco purificationis, et in sanctuario, et in universis operibus ministerii templi Domini. (Ⅴ)

29 ׃23 וללחם המערכת ולסלת למנחה ולרקיקי המצות ולמחבת ולמרבכת ולכל משורה ומדה
- des pains de proposition, de la fleur de farine pour les offrandes, des galettes sans levain, des gâteaux cuits sur la plaque et des gâteaux frits, de toutes les mesures de capacité et de longueur: (Ⅱ) - Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size; (Ⅲ) - εἰς τοὺς ἄρτους τη̃ς προθέσεως εἰς τὴν σεμίδαλιν τη̃ς θυσίας καὶ εἰς τὰ λάγανα τὰ ἄζυμα καὶ εἰς τήγανον καὶ εἰς τὴν πεφυραμένην καὶ εἰς πα̃ν μέτρον (Ⅳ) - Sacerdotes autem, super panes propositionis, et ad similæ sacrificium, et ad lagana azyma, et sartaginem, et ad torrendum, et super omne pondus atque mensuram. (Ⅴ)

30 ׃23 ולעמד בבקר בבקר להדות ולהלל ליהוה וכן לערב
- ils avaient à se présenter chaque matin et chaque soir, afin de louer et de célébrer l'Éternel, (Ⅱ) - And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even: (Ⅲ) - καὶ του̃ στη̃ναι πρωὶ του̃ αἰνει̃ν ἐξομολογει̃σθαι τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ καὶ οὕτως τὸ ἑσπέρας (Ⅳ) - Levitæ vero ut stent mane ad confitendum et canendum Domino : similiterque ad vesperam, (Ⅴ)

31 ׃23 ולכל העלות עלות ליהוה לשבתות לחדשים ולמעדים במספר כמשפט עליהם תמיד לפני יהוה
- et à offrir continuellement devant l'Éternel tous les holocaustes à l'Éternel, aux sabbats, aux nouvelles lunes et aux fêtes, selon le nombre et les usages prescrits. (Ⅱ) - And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD: (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπὶ πάντων τω̃ν ἀναφερομένων ὁλοκαυτωμάτων τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐν τοι̃ς σαββάτοις καὶ ἐν ται̃ς νεομηνίαις καὶ ἐν ται̃ς ἑορται̃ς κατὰ ἀριθμὸν κατὰ τὴν κρίσιν ἐπ' αὐτοι̃ς διὰ παντὸς τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ (Ⅳ) - tam in oblatione holocaustorum Domini, quam in sabbatis et calendis et solemnitatibus reliquis juxta numerum et cæremonias uniuscujusque rei, jugiter coram Domino. (Ⅴ)

32 ׃23 ושמרו את משמרת אהל מועד ואת משמרת הקדש ומשמרת בני אהרן אחיהם לעבדת בית יהוה פ
- Ils donnaient leurs soins à la tente d'assignation, au sanctuaire, et aux fils d'Aaron, leurs frères, pour le service de la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὰς φυλακὰς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς υἱω̃ν Ααρων ἀδελφω̃ν αὐτω̃ν του̃ λειτουργει̃ν ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου (Ⅳ) - Et custodiant observationes tabernaculi fœderis, et ritum sanctuarii, et observationem filiorum Aaron fratrum suorum, ut ministrent in domo Domini. (Ⅴ)
