28. 1

‫ 1 ׃28 בן עשרים שנה אחז במלכו ושש עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם ולא עשה הישר בעיני יהוה כדויד אביו ‬

- Achaz avait vingt ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. Il ne fit point ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme avait fait David, son père. (Ⅱ)

- Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father: (Ⅲ)

- υἱὸς εἴκοσι ἐτω̃ν Αχαζ ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλευ̃σαι αὐτὸν καὶ δέκα ἓξ ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ οὐκ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ἐνώπιον κυρίου ὡς Δαυιδ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)

- Viginti annorum erat Achaz cum regnare cœpisset, et sedecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem. Non fecit rectum in conspectu Domini sicut David pater ejus, (Ⅴ)

28. 2

‫ 2 ׃28 וילך בדרכי מלכי ישראל וגם מסכות עשה לבעלים ‬

- Il marcha dans les voies des rois d'Israël; et même il fit des images en fonte pour les Baals, (Ⅱ)

- For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐπορεύθη κατὰ τὰς ὁδοὺς βασιλέων Ισραηλ καὶ γὰρ γλυπτὰ ἐποίησεν τοι̃ς εἰδώλοις αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- sed ambulavit in viis regum Israël, insuper et statuas fudit Baalim. (Ⅴ)

28. 3

‫ 3 ׃28 והוא הקטיר בגיא בן הנם ויבער את בניו באש כתעבות הגוים אשר הריש יהוה מפני בני ישראל ‬

- il brûla des parfums dans la vallée des fils de Hinnom, et il fit passer ses fils par le feu, suivant les abominations des nations que l'Éternel avait chassées devant les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἔθυεν ἐν Γαιβενενομ καὶ διη̃γεν τὰ τέκνα αὐτου̃ διὰ πυρὸς κατὰ τὰ βδελύγματα τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν ὡ̃ν ἐξωλέθρευσεν κύριος ἀπὸ προσώπου υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅳ)

- Ipse est qui adolevit incensum in valle Benennom, et lustravit filios suos in igne juxta ritum gentium quas interfecit Dominus in adventu filiorum Israël. (Ⅴ)

28. 4

‫ 4 ׃28 ויזבח ויקטר בבמות ועל הגבעות ותחת כל עץ רענן ‬

- Il offrait des sacrifices et des parfums sur les hauts lieux, sur les collines et sous tout arbre vert. (Ⅱ)

- He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐθυμία ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὑψηλω̃ν καὶ ἐπὶ τω̃ν δωμάτων καὶ ὑποκάτω παντὸς ξύλου ἀλσώδους (Ⅳ)

- Sacrificabat quoque, et thymiama succendebat in excelsis, et in collibus, et sub omni ligno frondoso. (Ⅴ)

28. 5

‫ 5 ׃28 ויתנהו יהוה אלהיו ביד מלך ארם ויכו בו וישבו ממנו שביה גדולה ויביאו דרמשק וגם ביד מלך ישראל נתן ויך בו מכה גדולה ס‬

- L'Éternel, son Dieu, le livra entre les mains du roi de Syrie; et les Syriens le battirent et lui firent un grand nombre de prisonniers, qu'ils emmenèrent à Damas. Il fut aussi livré entre les mains du roi d'Israël, qui lui fit éprouver une grande défaite. (Ⅱ)

- Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτὸν κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτου̃ διὰ χειρὸς βασιλέως Συρίας καὶ ἐπάταξεν ἐν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἠ̨χμαλώτευσεν ἐξ αὐτω̃ν αἰχμαλωσίαν πολλὴν καὶ ἤγαγεν εἰς Δαμασκόν καὶ γὰρ εἰς τὰς χει̃ρας βασιλέως Ισραηλ παρέδωκεν αὐτόν καὶ ἐπάταξεν ἐν αὐτω̨̃ πληγὴν μεγάλην (Ⅳ)

- Tradiditque eum Dominus Deus ejus in manu regis Syriæ, qui percussit eum, magnamque prædam cepit de ejus imperio, et adduxit in Damascum : manibus quoque regis Israël traditus est, et percussus plaga grandi. (Ⅴ)

28. 6

‫ 6 ׃28 ויהרג פקח בן רמליהו ביהודה מאה ועשרים אלף ביום אחד הכל בני חיל בעזבם את יהוה אלהי אבותם ‬

- Pékach, fils de Remalia, tua dans un seul jour en Juda cent vingt mille hommes, tous vaillants, parce qu'ils avaient abandonné l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères. (Ⅱ)

- For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν Φακεε ὁ του̃ Ρομελια βασιλεὺς Ισραηλ ἐν Ιουδα ἐν μια̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι χιλιάδας ἀνδρω̃ν δυνατω̃ν ἰσχύι ἐν τω̨̃ αὐτοὺς καταλιπει̃ν τὸν κύριον θεὸν τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- Occiditque Phacee filius Romeliæ, de Juda centum viginti millia in die uno, omnes viros bellatores : eo quod reliquissent Dominum Deum patrum suorum. (Ⅴ)

28. 7

‫ 7 ׃28 ויהרג זכרי גבור אפרים את מעשיהו בן המלך ואת עזריקם נגיד הבית ואת אלקנה משנה המלך ס‬

- Zicri, guerrier d'Éphraïm, tua Maaséja, fils du roi, Azrikam, chef de la maison royale, et Elkana, le second après le roi. (Ⅱ)

- And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν Εζεκρι ὁ δυνατὸς του̃ Εφραιμ τὸν Μαασαιαν τὸν υἱὸν του̃ βασιλέως καὶ τὸν Εσδρικαμ ἡγούμενον του̃ οἴκου αὐτου̃ καὶ τὸν Ελκανα τὸν διάδοχον του̃ βασιλέως (Ⅳ)

- Eodem tempore occidit Zechri, vir potens ex Ephraim, Maasiam filium regis, et Ezricam ducem domus ejus, Elcanam quoque secundum a rege. (Ⅴ)

28. 8

‫ 8 ׃28 וישבו בני ישראל מאחיהם מאתים אלף נשים בנים ובנות וגם שלל רב בזזו מהם ויביאו את השלל לשמרון ס‬

- Les enfants d'Israël firent parmi leurs frères deux cent mille prisonniers, femmes, fils et filles, et ils leur prirent beaucoup de butin, qu'ils emmenèrent à Samarie. (Ⅱ)

- And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἠ̨χμαλώτισαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἀδελφω̃ν αὐτω̃ν τριακοσίας χιλιάδας γυναι̃κας υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ σκυ̃λα πολλὰ ἐσκύλευσαν ἐξ αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἤνεγκαν τὰ σκυ̃λα εἰς Σαμάρειαν (Ⅳ)

- Ceperuntque filii Israël de fratribus suis ducenta millia mulierum, puerorum, et puellarum, et infinitam prædam : pertuleruntque eam in Samariam. (Ⅴ)

28. 9

‫ 9 ׃28 ושם היה נביא ליהוה עדד שמו ויצא לפני הצבא הבא לשמרון ויאמר להם הנה בחמת יהוה אלהי אבותיכם על יהודה נתנם בידכם ותהרגו בם בזעף עד לשמים הגיע ‬

- Il y avait là un prophète de l'Éternel, nommé Oded. Il alla au-devant de l'armée qui revenait à Samarie, et il leur dit: C'est dans sa colère contre Juda que l'Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères, les a livrés entre vos mains, et vous les avez tués avec une fureur qui est montée jusqu'aux cieux. (Ⅱ)

- But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth up unto heaven. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐκει̃ ἠ̃ν ὁ προφήτης του̃ κυρίου Ωδηδ ὄνομα αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν εἰς ἀπάντησιν τη̃ς δυνάμεως τω̃ν ἐρχομένων εἰς Σαμάρειαν καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς ἰδοὺ ὀργὴ κυρίου θεου̃ τω̃ν πατέρων ὑμω̃ν ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χει̃ρας ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἀπεκτείνατε ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἐν ὀργη̨̃ ἕως τω̃ν οὐρανω̃ν ἔφθακεν (Ⅳ)

- Ea tempestate erat ibi propheta Domini, nomine Oded : qui egressus obviam exercitui venienti in Samariam, dixit eis : Ecce iratus Dominus Deus patrum vestrorum contra Juda, tradidit eos in manibus vestris, et occidistis eos atrociter, ita ut ad cælum pertingeret vestra crudelitas. (Ⅴ)

28. 10

‫ 10 ׃28 ועתה בני יהודה וירושלם אתם אמרים לכבש לעבדים ולשפחות לכם הלא רק אתם עמכם אשמות ליהוה אלהיכם ‬

- Et vous pensez maintenant faire des enfants de Juda et de Jérusalem vos serviteurs et vos servantes! Mais vous, n'êtes-vous pas coupables envers l'Éternel, votre Dieu? (Ⅱ)

- And now ye purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with you, even with you, sins against the LORD your God? (Ⅲ)

- καὶ νυ̃ν υἱοὺς Ιουδα καὶ Ιερουσαλημ ὑμει̃ς λέγετε κατακτήσεσθαι εἰς δούλους καὶ δούλας οὐκ ἰδού εἰμι μεθ' ὑμω̃ν μαρτυρη̃σαι κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- Insuper filios Juda et Jerusalem vultis vobis subjicere in servos et ancillas : quod nequaquam facto opus est : peccastis enim super hoc Domino Deo vestro. (Ⅴ)

28. 11

‫ 11 ׃28 ועתה שמעוני והשיבו השביה אשר שביתם מאחיכם כי חרון אף יהוה עליכם ס‬

- Écoutez-moi donc, et renvoyez ces captifs que vous avez faits parmi vos frères; car la colère ardente de l'Éternel est sur vous. (Ⅱ)

- Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ νυ̃ν ἀκούσατέ μου καὶ ἀποστρέψατε τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν ἣν ἠ̨χμαλωτεύσατε τω̃ν ἀδελφω̃ν ὑμω̃ν ὅτι ὀργὴ θυμου̃ κυρίου ἐφ' ὑμι̃ν (Ⅳ)

- Sed audite consilium meum, et reducite captivos quos adduxistis de fratribus vestris, quia magnus furor Domini imminet vobis. (Ⅴ)

28. 12

‫ 12 ׃28 ויקמו אנשים מראשי בני אפרים עזריהו בן יהוחנן ברכיהו בן משלמות ויחזקיהו בן שלם ועמשא בן חדלי על הבאים מן הצבא ‬

- Quelques-uns d'entre les chefs des fils d'Éphraïm, Azaria, fils de Jochanan, Bérékia, fils de Meschillémoth, Ézéchias, fils de Schallum, et Amasa, fils de Hadlaï, s'élevèrent contre ceux qui revenaient de l'armée, (Ⅱ)

- Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war, (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀνέστησαν ἄρχοντες ἀπὸ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Εφραιμ Ουδια ὁ του̃ Ιωανου καὶ Βαραχιας ὁ του̃ Μοσολαμωθ καὶ Εζεκιας ὁ του̃ Σελλημ καὶ Αμασιας ὁ του̃ Χοδλι ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐρχομένους ἀπὸ του̃ πολέμου (Ⅳ)

- Steterunt itaque viri de principibus filiorum Ephraim, Azarias filius Johanan, Barachias filius Mosollamoth, Ezechias filius Sellum, et Amasa filius Adali, contra eos qui veniebant de prælio, (Ⅴ)

28. 13

‫ 13 ׃28 ויאמרו להם לא תביאו את השביה הנה כי לאשמת יהוה עלינו אתם אמרים להסיף על חטאתינו ועל אשמתינו כי רבה אשמה לנו וחרון אף על ישראל ס‬

- et leur dirent: Vous ne ferez point entrer ici des captifs; car, pour nous rendre coupables envers l'Éternel, vous voulez ajouter à nos péchés et à nos fautes. Nous sommes déjà bien coupables, et la colère ardente de l'Éternel est sur Israël. (Ⅱ)

- And said unto them, Ye shall not bring in the captives hither: for whereas we have offended against the LORD already, ye intend to add more to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ εἰ̃παν αὐτοι̃ς οὐ μὴ εἰσαγάγητε τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν ὡ̃δε πρὸς ἡμα̃ς ὅτι εἰς τὸ ἁμαρτάνειν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐφ' ἡμα̃ς ὑμει̃ς λέγετε προσθει̃ναι ἐπὶ ται̃ς ἁμαρτίαις ἡμω̃ν καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν ἄγνοιαν ὅτι πολλὴ ἡ ἁμαρτία ἡμω̃ν καὶ ὀργὴ θυμου̃ κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅳ)

- et dixerunt eis : Non introducetis huc captivos, ne peccemus Domino. Quare vultis adjicere super peccata nostra, et vetera cumulare delicta ? grande quippe peccatum est, et ira furoris Domini imminet super Israël. (Ⅴ)

28. 14

‫ 14 ׃28 ויעזב החלוץ את השביה ואת הבזה לפני השרים וכל הקהל ‬

- Les soldats abandonnèrent les captifs et le butin devant les chefs et devant toute l'assemblée. (Ⅱ)

- So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the congregation. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀφη̃καν οἱ πολεμισταὶ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν καὶ τὰ σκυ̃λα ἐναντίον τω̃ν ἀρχόντων καὶ πάσης τη̃ς ἐκκλησίας (Ⅳ)

- Dimiseruntque viri bellatores prædam, et universa quæ ceperant, coram principibus, et omni multitudine. (Ⅴ)

28. 15

‫ 15 ׃28 ויקמו האנשים אשר נקבו בשמות ויחזיקו בשביה וכל מערמיהם הלבישו מן השלל וילבשום וינעלום ויאכלום וישקום ויסכום וינהלום בחמרים לכל כושל ויביאום ירחו עיר התמרים אצל אחיהם וישובו שמרון פ‬

- Et les hommes dont les noms viennent d'être mentionnés se levèrent et prirent les captifs; ils employèrent le butin à vêtir tous ceux qui étaient nus, ils leur donnèrent des habits et des chaussures, ils les firent manger et boire, ils les oignirent, ils conduisirent sur des ânes tous ceux qui étaient fatigués, et ils les menèrent à Jéricho, la ville des palmiers, auprès de leurs frères. Puis ils retournèrent à Samarie. (Ⅱ)

- And the men which were expressed by name rose up, and took the captives, and with the spoil clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them, and shod them, and gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the feeble of them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀνέστησαν ἄνδρες οἳ ἐπεκλήθησαν ἐν ὀνόματι καὶ ἀντελάβοντο τη̃ς αἰχμαλωσίας καὶ πάντας τοὺς γυμνοὺς περιέβαλον ἀπὸ τω̃ν σκύλων καὶ ἐνέδυσαν αὐτοὺς καὶ ὑπέδησαν αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔδωκαν φαγει̃ν καὶ ἀλείψασθαι καὶ ἀντελάβοντο ἐν ὑποζυγίοις παντὸς ἀσθενου̃ντος καὶ κατέστησαν αὐτοὺς εἰς Ιεριχω πόλιν φοινίκων πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐπέστρεψαν εἰς Σαμάρειαν (Ⅳ)

- Steteruntque viri quos supra memoravimus, et apprehendentes captivos, omnesque qui nudi erant, vestierunt de spoliis : cumque vestissent eos, et calceassent, et refecissent cibo ac potu, unxissentque propter laborem, et adhibuissent eis curam : quicumque ambulare non poterant, et erant imbecillo corpore, imposuerunt eos jumentis, et adduxerunt Jericho civitatem palmarum ad fratres eorum, ipsique reversi sunt in Samariam.\ (Ⅴ)

28. 16

‫ 16 ׃28 בעת ההיא שלח המלך אחז על מלכי אשור לעזר לו ‬

- En ce temps-là, le roi Achaz envoya demander du secours aux rois d'Assyrie. (Ⅱ)

- At that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him. (Ⅲ)

- ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ ἀπέστειλεν Αχαζ πρὸς βασιλέα Ασσουρ βοηθη̃σαι αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅳ)

- Tempore illo misit rex Achaz ad regem Assyriorum, postulans auxilium. (Ⅴ)

28. 17

‫ 17 ׃28 ועוד אדומים באו ויכו ביהודה וישבו שבי ‬

- Les Édomites vinrent encore, battirent Juda, et emmenèrent des captifs. (Ⅱ)

- For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐν τούτω̨ ὅτι Ιδουμαι̃οι ἐπέθεντο καὶ ἐπάταξαν ἐν Ιουδα καὶ ἠ̨χμαλώτισαν αἰχμαλωσίαν (Ⅳ)

- Veneruntque Idumæi, et percusserunt multos ex Juda, et ceperunt prædam magnam. (Ⅴ)

28. 18

‫ 18 ׃28 ופלשתים פשטו בערי השפלה והנגב ליהודה וילכדו את בית שמש ואת אילון ואת הגדרות ואת שוכו ובנותיה ואת תמנה ובנותיה ואת גמזו ואת בנתיה וישבו שם ‬

- Les Philistins firent une invasion dans les villes de la plaine et du midi de Juda; ils prirent Beth Schémesch, Ajalon, Guedéroth, Soco et les villes de son ressort, Thimna et les villes de son ressort Guimzo et les villes de son ressort, et ils s'y établirent. (Ⅱ)

- The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ἐπέθεντο ἐπὶ τὰς πόλεις τη̃ς πεδινη̃ς καὶ ἀπὸ λιβὸς του̃ Ιουδα καὶ ἔλαβον τὴν Βαιθσαμυς καὶ τὴν Αιλων καὶ τὴν Γαδηρωθ καὶ τὴν Σωχω καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτη̃ς καὶ τὴν Θαμνα καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτη̃ς καὶ τὴν Γαμζω καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτη̃ς καὶ κατώ̨κησαν ἐκει̃ (Ⅳ)

- Philisthiim quoque diffusi sunt per urbes campestres, et ad meridiem Juda : ceperuntque Bethsames, et Ajalon, et Gaderoth, Socho quoque, et Thamnan, et Gamzo, cum viculis suis, et habitaverunt in eis. (Ⅴ)

28. 19

‫ 19 ׃28 כי הכניע יהוה את יהודה בעבור אחז מלך ישראל כי הפריע ביהודה ומעול מעל ביהוה ‬

- Car l'Éternel humilia Juda, à cause d'Achaz, roi d'Israël, qui avait jeté le désordre dans Juda et commis des péchés contre l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- For the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the LORD. (Ⅲ)

- ὅτι ἐταπείνωσεν κύριος τὸν Ιουδαν δι' Αχαζ βασιλέα Ιουδα ὅτι ἀπέστη ἀποστάσει ἀπὸ κυρίου (Ⅳ)

- Humiliaverat enim Dominus Judam propter Achaz regem Juda, eo quod nudasset eum auxilio, et contemptui habuisset Dominum. (Ⅴ)

28. 20

‫ 20 ׃28 ויבא עליו תלגת פלנאסר מלך אשור ויצר לו ולא חזקו ‬

- Tilgath Pilnéser, roi d'Assyrie, vint contre lui, le traita en ennemi, et ne le soutint pas. (Ⅱ)

- And Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him, but strengthened him not. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἐπ' αὐτὸν Θαγλαθφελλασαρ βασιλεὺς Ασσουρ καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτόν (Ⅳ)

- Adduxitque contra eum Thelgathphalnasar regem Assyriorum, qui et afflixit eum, et nullo resistente vastavit. (Ⅴ)

28. 21

‫ 21 ׃28 כי חלק אחז את בית יהוה ואת בית המלך והשרים ויתן למלך אשור ולא לעזרה לו ‬

- Car Achaz dépouilla la maison de l'Éternel, la maison du roi et celle des chefs, pour faire des présents au roi d'Assyrie; ce qui ne lui fut d'aucun secours. (Ⅱ)

- For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν Αχαζ τὰ ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου καὶ τὰ ἐν οἴκω̨ του̃ βασιλέως καὶ τω̃ν ἀρχόντων καὶ ἔδωκεν τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ Ασσουρ καὶ οὐκ εἰς βοήθειαν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅳ)

- Igitur Achaz, spoliata domo Domini, et domo regum ac principum, dedit regi Assyriorum munera, et tamen nihil ei profuit. (Ⅴ)

28. 22

‫ 22 ׃28 ובעת הצר לו ויוסף למעול ביהוה הוא המלך אחז ‬

- Pendant qu'il était dans la détresse, il continuait à pécher contre l'Éternel, lui, le roi Achaz. (Ⅱ)

- And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this is that king Ahaz. (Ⅲ)

- ἀλλ' ἢ τω̨̃ θλιβη̃ναι αὐτὸν καὶ προσέθηκεν του̃ ἀποστη̃ναι ἀπὸ κυρίου καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ βασιλεύς (Ⅳ)

- Insuper et tempore angustiæ suæ auxit contemptum in Dominum, ipse per se rex Achaz, (Ⅴ)

28. 23

‫ 23 ׃28 ויזבח לאלהי דרמשק המכים בו ויאמר כי אלהי מלכי ארם הם מעזרים אותם להם אזבח ויעזרוני והם היו לו להכשילו ולכל ישראל ‬

- Il sacrifia aux dieux de Damas, qui l'avaient frappé, et il dit: Puisque les dieux des rois de Syrie leur viennent en aide, je leur sacrifierai pour qu'ils me secourent. Mais ils furent l'occasion de sa chute et de celle de tout Israël. (Ⅱ)

- For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel. (Ⅲ)

- ἐκζητήσω τοὺς θεοὺς Δαμασκου̃ τοὺς τύπτοντάς με καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὅτι θεοὶ βασιλέως Συρίας αὐτοὶ κατισχύσουσιν αὐτούς αὐτοι̃ς τοίνυν θύσω καὶ ἀντιλήμψονταί μου καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐγένοντο αὐτω̨̃ εἰς σκω̃λον καὶ παντὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅳ)

- immolavit diis Damasci victimas percussoribus suis, et dixit : Dii regum Syriæ auxiliantur eis, quos ego placabo hostiis, et aderunt mihi : cum e contrario ipsi fuerint ruinæ ei, et universo Israël. (Ⅴ)

28. 24

‫ 24 ׃28 ויאסף אחז את כלי בית האלהים ויקצץ את כלי בית האלהים ויסגר את דלתות בית יהוה ויעש לו מזבחות בכל פנה בירושלם ‬

- Achaz rassembla les ustensiles de la maison de Dieu, et il mit en pièces les ustensiles de la maison de Dieu. Il ferma les portes de la maison de l'Éternel, il se fit des autels à tous les coins de Jérusalem, (Ⅱ)

- And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἀπέστησεν Αχαζ τὰ σκεύη οἴκου κυρίου καὶ κατέκοψεν αὐτὰ καὶ ἔκλεισεν τὰς θύρας οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐποίησεν ἑαυτω̨̃ θυσιαστήρια ἐν πάση̨ γωνία̨ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅳ)

- Direptis itaque Achaz omnibus vasis domus Dei, atque confractis, clausit januas templi Dei, et fecit sibi altaria in universis angulis Jerusalem. (Ⅴ)

28. 25

‫ 25 ׃28 ובכל עיר ועיר ליהודה עשה במות לקטר לאלהים אחרים ויכעס את יהוה אלהי אבתיו ‬

- et il établit des hauts lieux dans chacune des villes de Juda pour offrir des parfums à d'autres dieux. Il irrita ainsi l'Éternel, le Dieu de ses pères. (Ⅱ)

- And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐν πάση̨ πόλει καὶ πόλει ἐν Ιουδα ἐποίησεν ὑψηλὰ θυμια̃ν θεοι̃ς ἀλλοτρίοις καὶ παρώργισαν κύριον τὸν θεὸν τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ)

- In omnibus quoque urbibus Juda exstruxit aras ad cremandum thus, atque ad iracundiam provocavit Dominum Deum patrum suorum. (Ⅴ)

28. 26

‫ 26 ׃28 ויתר דבריו וכל דרכיו הראשנים והאחרונים הנם כתובים על ספר מלכי יהודה וישראל ‬

- Le reste de ses actions et toutes ses voies, les premières et les dernières, cela est écrit dans le livre des rois de Juda et d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- Now the rest of his acts and of all his ways, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ οἱ λοιποὶ λόγοι αὐτου̃ καὶ αἱ πράξεις αὐτου̃ αἱ πρω̃ται καὶ αἱ ἔσχαται ἰδοὺ γεγραμμέναι ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ βασιλέων Ιουδα καὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅳ)

- Reliqua autem sermonum ejus, et omnium operum suorum priorum et novissimorum, scripta sunt in libro regum Juda et Israël. (Ⅴ)

28. 27

‫ 27 ׃28 וישכב אחז עם אבתיו ויקברהו בעיר בירושלם כי לא הביאהו לקברי מלכי ישראל וימלך יחזקיהו בנו תחתיו פ‬

- Achaz se coucha avec ses pères, et on l'enterra dans la ville de Jérusalem, car on ne le mit point dans les sépulcres des rois d'Israël. Et Ézéchias, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even in Jerusalem: but they brought him not into the sepulchres of the kings of Israel: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead. (Ⅲ)

- καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Αχαζ μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν πόλει Δαυιδ ὅτι οὐκ εἰσήνεγκαν αὐτὸν εἰς τοὺς τάφους τω̃ν βασιλέων Ισραηλ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Εζεκιας υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)

- Dormivitque Achaz cum patribus suis, et sepelierunt eum in civitate Jerusalem : neque enim receperunt eum in sepulchra regum Israël. Regnavitque Ezechias filius ejus pro eo. (Ⅴ)
