- Malheur à ceux qui prononcent des ordonnances iniques, Et à ceux qui transcrivent des arrêts injustes, (Ⅱ) - Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; (Ⅲ) - οὐαὶ τοι̃ς γράφουσιν πονηρίαν γράφοντες γὰρ πονηρίαν γράφουσιν (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃10 הוי החקקים חקקי און ומכתבים עמל כתבו (Ⅴ)

ut opprimerent in judicio pauperes,/ et vim facerent causæ humilium populi mei ;/ ut essent viduæ præda eorum,/ et pupillos diriperent./
- Pour refuser justice aux pauvres, Et ravir leur droit aux malheureux de mon peuple, Pour faire des veuves leur proie, Et des orphelins leur butin! (Ⅱ) - To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! (Ⅲ) - ἐκκλίνοντες κρίσιν πτωχω̃ν ἁρπάζοντες κρίμα πενήτων του̃ λαου̃ μου ὥστε εἰ̃ναι αὐτοι̃ς χήραν εἰς ἁρπαγὴν καὶ ὀρφανὸν εἰς προνομήν (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃10 להטות מדין דלים ולגזל משפט עניי עמי להיות אלמנות שללם ואת יתומים יבזו (Ⅴ)

Quid facietis in die visitationis,/ et calamitatis de longe venientis ?/ ad cujus confugietis auxilium ?/ et ubi derelinquetis gloriam vestram,/
- Que ferez-vous au jour du châtiment, Et de la ruine qui du lointain fondra sur vous? Vers qui fuirez-vous, pour avoir du secours, Et où laisserez-vous votre gloire? (Ⅱ) - And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? (Ⅲ) - καὶ τί ποιήσουσιν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̃ς ἐπισκοπη̃ς ἡ γὰρ θλι̃ψις ὑμι̃ν πόρρωθεν ἥξει καὶ πρὸς τίνα καταφεύξεσθε του̃ βοηθηθη̃ναι καὶ που̃ καταλείψετε τὴν δόξαν ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃10 ומה תעשו ליום פקדה ולשואה ממרחק תבוא על מי תנוסו לעזרה ואנה תעזבו כבודכם (Ⅴ)

ne incurvemini sub vinculo,/ et cum interfectis cadatis ?/ Super omnibus his non est aversus furor ejus,/ sed adhuc manus ejus extenta.]\
- Les uns seront courbés parmi les captifs, Les autres tomberont parmi les morts. Malgré tout cela, sa colère ne s'apaise point, Et sa main est encore étendue. (Ⅱ) - Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. (Ⅲ) - του̃ μὴ ἐμπεσει̃ν εἰς ἐπαγωγήν ἐπὶ πα̃σι τούτοις οὐκ ἀπεστράφη ὁ θυμός ἀλλ' ἔτι ἡ χεὶρ ὑψηλή (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃10 בלתי כרע תחת אסיר ותחת הרוגים יפלו בכל זאת לא שב אפו ועוד ידו נטויה ס (Ⅴ)

Væ Assur ! virga furoris mei et baculus ipse est ;/ in manu eorum indignatio mea./
- Malheur à l'Assyrien, verge de ma colère! La verge dans sa main, c'est l'instrument de ma fureur. (Ⅱ) - O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. (Ⅲ) - οὐαὶ 'Ασσυρίοις ἡ ῥάβδος του̃ θυμου̃ μου καὶ ὀργη̃ς ἐστιν ἐν ται̃ς χερσὶν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃10 הוי אשור שבט אפי ומטה הוא בידם זעמי (Ⅴ)

Ad gentem fallacem mittam eum,/ et contra populum furoris mei mandabo illi,/ ut auferat spolia, et diripiat prædam,/ et ponat illum in conculcationem quasi lutum platearum./
- Je l'ai lâché contre une nation impie, Je l'ai fait marcher contre le peuple de mon courroux, Pour qu'il se livre au pillage et fasse du butin, Pour qu'il le foule aux pieds comme la boue des rues. (Ⅱ) - I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. (Ⅲ) - τὴν ὀργήν μου εἰς ἔθνος ἄνομον ἀποστελω̃ καὶ τω̨̃ ἐμω̨̃ λαω̨̃ συντάξω ποιη̃σαι σκυ̃λα καὶ προνομὴν καὶ καταπατει̃ν τὰς πόλεις καὶ θει̃ναι αὐτὰς εἰς κονιορτόν (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃10 בגוי חנף אשלחנו ועל עם עברתי אצונו לשלל שלל ולבז בז *ולשימו **ולשומו מרמס כחמר חוצות (Ⅴ)

Ipse autem non sic arbitrabitur,/ et cor ejus non ita existimabit ;/ sed ad conterendum erit cor ejus,/ et ad internecionem gentium non paucarum./
- Mais il n'en juge pas ainsi, Et ce n'est pas là la pensée de son coeur; Il ne songe qu'à détruire, Qu'à exterminer les nations en foule. (Ⅱ) - Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few. (Ⅲ) - αὐτὸς δὲ οὐχ οὕτως ἐνεθυμήθη καὶ τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ οὐχ οὕτως λελόγισται ἀλλὰ ἀπαλλάξει ὁ νου̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ του̃ ἔθνη ἐξολεθρευ̃σαι οὐκ ὀλίγα (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃10 והוא לא כן ידמה ולבבו לא כן יחשב כי להשמיד בלבבו ולהכרית גוים לא מעט (Ⅴ)

- De même que ma main a atteint les royaumes des idoles, Où il y avait plus d'images qu'à Jérusalem et à Samarie, (Ⅱ) - As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; (Ⅲ) - ὃν τρόπον ταύτας ἔλαβον ἐν τη̨̃ χειρί μου καὶ πάσας τὰς ἀρχὰς λήμψομαι ὀλολύξατε τὰ γλυπτὰ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃10 כאשר מצאה ידי לממלכת האליל ופסיליהם מירושלם ומשמרון (Ⅴ)

- Ce que j'ai fait à Samarie et à ses idoles, Ne le ferai-je pas à Jérusalem et à ses images? (Ⅱ) - Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? (Ⅲ) - ὃν τρόπον γὰρ ἐποίησα Σαμαρεία̨ καὶ τοι̃ς χειροποιήτοις αὐτη̃ς οὕτως ποιήσω καὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τοι̃ς εἰδώλοις αὐτη̃ς (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃10 הלא כאשר עשיתי לשמרון ולאליליה כן אעשה לירושלם ולעצביה ס (Ⅴ)

Et erit, cum impleverit Dominus/ cuncta opera sua/ in monte Sion et in Jerusalem,/ visitabo super fructum magnifici cordis regis Assur,/ et super gloriam altitudinis oculorum ejus./
- Mais, quand le Seigneur aura accompli toute son oeuvre Sur la montagne de Sion et à Jérusalem, Je punirai le roi d'Assyrie pour le fruit de son coeur orgueilleux, Et pour l'arrogance de ses regards hautains. (Ⅱ) - Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ὅταν συντελέση̨ κύριος πάντα ποιω̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ ὄρει Σιων καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἐπάξει ἐπὶ τὸν νου̃ν τὸν μέγαν τὸν ἄρχοντα τω̃ν 'Ασσυρίων καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ὕψος τη̃ς δόξης τω̃ν ὀφθαλμω̃ν αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃10 והיה כי יבצע אדני את כל מעשהו בהר ציון ובירושלם אפקד על פרי גדל לבב מלך אשור ועל תפארת רום עיניו (Ⅴ)

Dixit enim : In fortitudine manus meæ feci,/ et in sapientia mea intellexi ;/ et abstuli terminos populorum,/ et principes eorum deprædatus sum,/ et detraxi quasi potens in sublimi residentes./
- Car il dit: C'est par la force de ma main que j'ai agi, C'est par ma sagesse, car je suis intelligent; J'ai reculé les limites des peuples, et pillé leurs trésors, Et, comme un héros, j'ai renversé ceux qui siégeaient sur des trônes; (Ⅱ) - For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: (Ⅲ) - εἰ̃πεν γάρ τη̨̃ ἰσχύι ποιήσω καὶ τη̨̃ σοφία̨ τη̃ς συνέσεως ἀφελω̃ ὅρια ἐθνω̃ν καὶ τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτω̃ν προνομεύσω καὶ σείσω πόλεις κατοικουμένας (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃10 כי אמר בכח ידי עשיתי ובחכמתי כי נבנותי ואסיר גבולת עמים *ועתידתיהם **ועתודותיהם שושתי ואוריד כאביר יושבים (Ⅴ)

Et invenit quasi nidum manus mea/ fortitudinem populorum ;/ et sicut colliguntur ova quæ derelicta sunt,/ sic universam terram ego congregavi ;/ et non fuit qui moveret pennam,/ et aperiret os, et ganniret./
- J'ai mis la main sur les richesses des peuples, comme sur un nid, Et, comme on ramasse des oeufs abandonnés, J'ai ramassé toute la terre: Nul n'a remué l'aile, Ni ouvert le bec, ni poussé un cri. - (Ⅱ) - And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὴν οἰκουμένην ὅλην καταλήμψομαι τη̨̃ χειρὶ ὡς νοσσιὰν καὶ ὡς καταλελειμμένα ὠ̨ὰ ἀρω̃ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὃς διαφεύξεταί με ἢ ἀντείπη̨ μοι (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃10 ותמצא כקן ידי לחיל העמים וכאסף ביצים עזבות כל הארץ אני אספתי ולא היה נדד כנף ופצה פה ומצפצף (Ⅴ)

Numquid gloriabitur securis contra eum qui secat in ea ?/ aut exaltabitur serra contra eum a quo trahitur ?/ Quomodo si elevetur virga contra elevantem se,/ et exaltetur baculus, qui utique lignum est./
- La hache se glorifie-t-elle envers celui qui s'en sert? Ou la scie est-elle arrogante envers celui qui la manie? Comme si la verge faisait mouvoir celui qui la lève, Comme si le bâton soulevait celui qui n'est pas du bois! (Ⅱ) - Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood. (Ⅲ) - μὴ δοξασθήσεται ἀξίνη ἄνευ του̃ κόπτοντος ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ἢ ὑψωθήσεται πρίων ἄνευ του̃ ἕλκοντος αὐτόν ὡσαύτως ἐάν τις ἄρη̨ ῥάβδον ἢ ξύλον (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃10 היתפאר הגרזן על החצב בו אם יתגדל המשור על מניפו כהניף שבט ואת מרימיו כהרים מטה לא עץ (Ⅴ)

Propter hoc mittet Dominator, Dominus exercituum,/ in pinguibus ejus tenuitatem ;/ et subtus gloriam ejus succensa ardebit/ quasi combustio ignis./
- C'est pourquoi le Seigneur, le Seigneur des armées, enverra Le dépérissement parmi ses robustes guerriers; Et, sous sa magnificence, éclatera un embrasement, Comme l'embrasement d'un feu. (Ⅱ) - Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οὐχ οὕτως ἀλλὰ ἀποστελει̃ κύριος σαβαωθ εἰς τὴν σὴν τιμὴν ἀτιμίαν καὶ εἰς τὴν σὴν δόξαν πυ̃ρ καιόμενον καυθήσεται (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃10 לכן ישלח האדון יהוה צבאות במשמניו רזון ותחת כבדו יקד יקד כיקוד אש (Ⅴ)

Et erit lumen Israël in igne,/ et Sanctus ejus in flamma ;/ et succendetur, et devorabitur/ spina ejus et vepres in die una./
- La lumière d'Israël deviendra un feu, Et son Saint une flamme, Qui consumera et dévorera ses épines et ses ronces, En un seul jour; (Ⅱ) - And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται τὸ φω̃ς του̃ Ισραηλ εἰς πυ̃ρ καὶ ἁγιάσει αὐτὸν ἐν πυρὶ καιομένω̨ καὶ φάγεται ὡσεὶ χόρτον τὴν ὕλην τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃10 והיה אור ישראל לאש וקדושו ללהבה ובערה ואכלה שיתו ושמירו ביום אחד (Ⅴ)

Et gloria saltus ejus, et carmeli ejus,/ ab anima usque ad carnem consumetur ;/ et erit terrore profugus./
- Qui consumera, corps et âme, La magnificence de sa forêt et de ses campagnes. Il en sera comme d'un malade, qui tombe en défaillance. (Ⅱ) - And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth. (Ⅲ) - ἀποσβεσθήσεται τὰ ὄρη καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ καὶ οἱ δρυμοί καὶ καταφάγεται ἀπὸ ψυχη̃ς ἕως σαρκω̃ν καὶ ἔσται ὁ φεύγων ὡς ὁ φεύγων ἀπὸ φλογὸς καιομένης (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃10 וכבוד יערו וכרמלו מנפש ועד בשר יכלה והיה כמסס נסס (Ⅴ)

Et reliquiæ ligni saltus ejus præ paucitate numerabuntur,/ et puer scribet eos.]\
- Le reste des arbres de sa forêt pourra être compté, Et un enfant en écrirait le nombre. (Ⅱ) - And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οἱ καταλειφθέντες ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν ἔσονται ἀριθμός καὶ παιδίον γράψει αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃10 ושאר עץ יערו מספר יהיו ונער יכתבם פ (Ⅴ)

Et erit in die illa :/ non adjiciet residuum Israël,/ et hi qui fugerint de domo Jacob,/ inniti super eo qui percutit eos ;/ sed innitetur super Dominum,/ Sanctum Israël, in veritate./
- En ce jour-là, Le reste d'Israël et les réchappés de la maison de Jacob, Cesseront de s'appuyer sur celui qui les frappait; Ils s'appuieront avec confiance sur l'Éternel, le Saint d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ οὐκέτι προστεθήσεται τὸ καταλειφθὲν Ισραηλ καὶ οἱ σωθέντες του̃ Ιακωβ οὐκέτι μὴ πεποιθότες ὠ̃σιν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀδικήσαντας αὐτούς ἀλλὰ ἔσονται πεποιθότες ἐπὶ τὸν θεὸν τὸν ἅγιον του̃ Ισραηλ τη̨̃ ἀληθεία̨ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃10 והיה ביום ההוא לא יוסיף עוד שאר ישראל ופליטת בית יעקב להשען על מכהו ונשען על יהוה קדוש ישראל באמת (Ⅴ)

Reliquiæ convertentur ; reliquiæ, inquam, Jacob/ ad Deum fortem./
- Le reste reviendra, le reste de Jacob, Au Dieu puissant. (Ⅱ) - The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται τὸ καταλειφθὲν του̃ Ιακωβ ἐπὶ θεὸν ἰσχύοντα (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃10 שאר ישוב שאר יעקב אל אל גבור (Ⅴ)

Si enim fuerit populus tuus, Israël, quasi arena maris,/ reliquiæ convertentur ex eo ;/ consummatio abbreviata/ inundabit justitiam./
- Quand ton peuple, ô Israël, serait comme le sable de la mer, Un reste seulement reviendra; La destruction est résolue, elle fera déborder la justice. (Ⅱ) - For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐὰν γένηται ὁ λαὸς Ισραηλ ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τη̃ς θαλάσσης τὸ κατάλειμμα αὐτω̃ν σωθήσεται λόγον γὰρ συντελω̃ν καὶ συντέμνων ἐν δικαιοσύνη̨ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃10 כי אם יהיה עמך ישראל כחול הים שאר ישוב בו כליון חרוץ שוטף צדקה (Ⅴ)

Consummationem enim et abbreviationem/ Dominus Deus exercituum faciet in medio omnis terræ./
- Et cette destruction qui a été résolue, Le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées, l'accomplira dans tout le pays. (Ⅱ) - For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι λόγον συντετμημένον ποιήσει ὁ θεὸς ἐν τη̨̃ οἰκουμένη̨ ὅλη̨ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃10 כי כלה ונחרצה אדני יהוה צבאות עשה בקרב כל הארץ ס (Ⅴ)

Propter hoc, hæc dicit Dominus Deus exercituum :/ Noli timere, populus meus,/ habitator Sion, ab Assur :/ in virga percutiet te,/ et baculum suum levabit super te,/ in via Ægypti./
- Cependant, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées: O mon peuple, qui habites en Sion, ne crains pas l'Assyrien! Il te frappe de la verge, Et il lève son bâton sur toi, comme faisaient les Égyptiens. (Ⅱ) - Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. (Ⅲ) - διὰ του̃το τάδε λέγει κύριος σαβαωθ μὴ φοβου̃ ὁ λαός μου οἱ κατοικου̃ντες ἐν Σιων ἀπὸ 'Ασσυρίων ὅτι ἐν ῥάβδω̨ πατάξει σε πληγὴν γὰρ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σὲ του̃ ἰδει̃ν ὁδὸν Αἰγύπτου (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃10 לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה צבאות אל תירא עמי ישב ציון מאשור בשבט יככה ומטהו ישא עליך בדרך מצרים (Ⅴ)

Adhuc enim paululum modicumque,/ et consummabitur indignatio/ et furor meus super scelus eorum./
- Mais, encore un peu de temps, Et le châtiment cessera, Puis ma colère se tournera contre lui pour l'anéantir. (Ⅱ) - For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. (Ⅲ) - ἔτι γὰρ μικρὸν καὶ παύσεται ἡ ὀργή ὁ δὲ θυμός μου ἐπὶ τὴν βουλὴν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃10 כי עוד מעט מזער וכלה זעם ואפי על תבליתם (Ⅴ)

Et suscitabit super eum Dominus exercituum flagellum,/ juxta plagam Madian in petra Oreb :/ et virgam suam super mare,/ et levabit eam in via Ægypti./
- L'Éternel des armées agitera le fouet contre lui, Comme il frappa Madian au rocher d'Oreb; Et, de même qu'il leva son bâton sur la mer, Il le lèvera encore, comme en Égypte. (Ⅱ) - And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. Et erit in die illa :/ auferetur onus ejus de humero tuo/ et jugum ejus de collo tuo,/ et computrescet jugum a facie olei.]\
- En ce jour, son fardeau sera ôté de dessus ton épaule, Et son joug de dessus ton cou; Et la graisse fera éclater le joug. (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ἀφαιρεθήσεται ὁ φόβος αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ σου̃ καὶ ὁ ζυγὸς αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ του̃ ὤμου σου καὶ καταφθαρήσεται ὁ ζυγὸς ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὤμων ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃10 והיה ביום ההוא יסור סבלו מעל שכמך ועלו מעל צוארך וחבל על מפני שמן (Ⅴ)

- Il marche sur Ajjath, traverse Migron, Laisse ses bagages à Micmasch. (Ⅱ) - He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages: (Ⅲ) - ἥξει γὰρ εἰς τὴν πόλιν Αγγαι καὶ παρελεύσεται εἰς Μαγεδω καὶ ἐν Μαχμας θήσει τὰ σκεύη αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃10 בא על עית עבר במגרון למכמש יפקיד כליו (Ⅴ)

Transierunt cursim,/ Gaba sedes nostra ;/ obstupuit Rama,/ Gabaath Saulis fugit./
- Ils passent le défilé, Ils couchent à Guéba; Rama tremble, Guibea de Saül prend la fuite. (Ⅱ) - They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled. (Ⅲ) - καὶ παρελεύσεται φάραγγα καὶ ἥξει εἰς Αγγαι φόβος λήμψεται Ραμα πόλιν Σαουλ φεύξεται (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃10 עברו מעברה גבע מלון לנו חרדה הרמה גבעת שאול נסה (Ⅴ)

- Fais éclater ta voix, fille de Gallim! Prends garde, Laïs! malheur à toi, Anathoth! (Ⅱ) - Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. - Encore un jour de halte à Nob, Et il menace de sa main la montagne de la fille de Sion, La colline de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. Ecce Dominator, Dominus exercituum,/ confringet lagunculam in terrore ;/ et excelsi statura succidentur,/ et sublimes humiliabuntur./
- Voici, le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées, Brise les rameaux avec violence: Les plus grands sont coupés, Les plus élevés sont abattus. (Ⅱ) - Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled. (Ⅲ) - ἰδοὺ γὰρ ὁ δεσπότης κύριος σαβαωθ συνταράσσει τοὺς ἐνδόξους μετὰ ἰσχύος καὶ οἱ ὑψηλοὶ τη̨̃ ὕβρει συντριβήσονται καὶ οἱ ὑψηλοὶ ταπεινωθήσονται (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃10 הנה האדון יהוה צבאות מסעף פארה במערצה ורמי הקומה גדועים והגבהים ישפלו (Ⅴ)

Et subvertentur condensa saltus ferro ;/ et Libanus cum excelsis cadet.]
- Il renverse avec le fer les taillis de la forêt, Et le Liban tombe sous le Puissant. (Ⅱ) - And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one. (Ⅲ) - καὶ πεσου̃νται οἱ ὑψηλοὶ μαχαίρα̨ ὁ δὲ Λίβανος σὺν τοι̃ς ὑψηλοι̃ς πεσει̃ται (Ⅳ) - 34 ׃10 ונקף סבכי היער בברזל והלבנון באדיר יפול ס (Ⅴ)
